for years and years the same countrys are suffering...
the only way to get rid of poverty is for the wealthy to atleast consider the less fortunate prople in mind...
there are people starving out there while we sit back with our bellies full.. we enjoy ourselves while people have nothing to do but fetch water from miles away.. yet we still act asthough little things are big problems while other people have bigger problems to face.
your views?

It's awful but i don't think it will change in the next 20 years. It will be better, but unfortenatly there will always be poverty.
but what annoys me; the rich countries have a lot of money, they have plenty. Why not donate that money to organisations that will help te countries or to the countries themself.

Poverty in America - probably decreasing
Poverty in third world countries - probably increasing
But, even if the U.S. does help them, I don't think it's going to do much. Poverty's a virus. It lives for thousands of years in the tiniest nooks and crannies. It never goes away.
If the U.S. keeps helping the countries full of poverty, sure, it will save countless lives, but it won't stop poverty.
Because the people will just go back to the same thing again. They're unstable.
So, I really think we should come up with a different solution. Other countries should sort a majority of things out themselves. They should not rely on countires like the United States for help.
I know there's a lot of flaws with the things I'm saying. But, that's my view.

Poverty isn't increasing anywhere; wealth in first-world countries is increasing.
Giving aid is a lovely idea in theory, but it doesn't really help that much in the long run. Wealthy countries need to guide the less fortunate nations, educating them about issues such as AIDS. AIDS is a huge killer in those places, mostly because the people there don't know how it's spread, or how to prevent it. (No, sleeping with a virgin won't cure AIDS.)
The wealthy countries also need to stop ripping off the poorer countries. Make trade laws fair and tougher, and that would help greatly. It isn't that people in third-world countries don't work; it's that they're being bullied and getting tiny fractions of what they deserve, making it impossible to get anywhere financially. If trade laws were fair, people could pull themselves out of poverty, which is far better in the long run than just giving money and dropping down bags of rice.
But, unfortunately, there is one huge obstacle to, not necessarily eliminating poverty, since that's nigh impossible, but at least alleviating it a bit, so that at least the citizens of impoverished countries have caught up in the wealth department to the poor in the first-world countries: the governments. Most of the governments of third-world countries are extremely corrupt regimes. That is a very difficult thing to amend, especially from outside the country. People in the countries would have to rise up themselves, but that can be a frightening thought. And I'm sure most of the people wouldn't, anyway, out of fear. (Of course, I'm sure America could bomb freedom at all the poor countries. Because America is protecting freedom with pointless wars that kill lots of innocent people! Freedom Fighters, woohoo! Let's bomb the world! *ducks from potential attackers*))
Anyway, to get back on track, there is a lot that would have to happen in order for third-world countries to rise in the world. It isn't impossible, but as most people in the wealthy countries aren't willing to help others, it basically is impossible.
