OK. I love writing songs. And I was wondering who else on here does. So if it isn't to much trouble, go ahead and write one!
Here is one that I wrote to play for my band:
Two Hearts by The Rebels:
What they saw was someone lonely.
Seeing what they never could believe in.
What they thought they'd never had.
(Here is the story..)
She had something to hide.
A life outside the innocence.
She gave into her lies.
Couldn't find the true life.
She just wanted to hide.
But he could see.
He could see it behind her eyes.
And these two hearts beat as one.
Never a real goodbye.
Always thinking about what they gained.
These two hearts beat as one.
He didn't think, he'd get a chance.
To have someone else.
Other than himself, to talk to.
He just wanted a friend.
But he fell in love.
And he could tell.
That she could see the pain in his eyes.
The pain he failed to hide.
But then he realized that he could
finally smile inside.
These two hearts beat as one.
Never a real goodbye.
Finally they could smile inside.
The two hearts beat as one.
And even as the years start to fade.
And the lies are to gained.
They can still feel.
What they felt back then.
Because they never said goodbye.
And as these two hearts.
Beat together.
Finding that they can't say goodbye.
These two hearts.
These two hearts.
(Beat as one)
These two hearts beat as one.
These two hearts...
