War

[Akai_Tenshi]

Creatures from different worlds have been in war for a long time.
There are the Nymphs of the earth, Vampires and Fallen (as in Fallen angels) of the underworld, Angels of heaven and Elves of the moon.
Finally they send a female and a male from each race to settle things(Two of each from the elves). But when a fifth enemy shows up, they have to team up to defeat these Devils.

Haru came back from the forset with a lamb in his mouth. He threw it to the floor and licked his lips. "Mmmm.."

Taria watched the other participants in this program warily. Some scared her, mainly the vampires, demons and fallen. She watched cautiously as they moved among each other as she lay half in the lake near the clearing.

Melanie and Kyan both drifting on a cold air current in the sky. Melanie was half asleep, and fell a few feet every few minutes. After the latest fall, Kyan finally sighed, "Do I have to carry you?" He asked, and Melanie turned to look at him, flying backwards. "Why can't we just find a clump of trees and go to sleep? I've lost track of how long we've been flying, which means I need a break," She whined. Kyan smiled, and flew up next to her. "We can only sleep for a little while, but..." He grabbed her hand and brought his wings in close to his body, diving towards land. Melanie screamed and tried to keep up in the air, but he was heavier than her, and just brought her down with him. Once they were a few yards from crashing, he brought out his wings, and hovered to the ground.

Haru lookedup at the other participants. "You have a problem..?" he said with annoyance.

"God Haru your so sick.." Akane' whined as she jumped up and sat herself on a branch in a pine tree. She watched a couple Cicadas' flutter and some Carpenter bees' look for wood.

Taria looked up in surprise at the voice in the tree near the pond. There was a fallen sitting there! She jumped quickly out of the water her tail quickly changing to two human legs. She stumbled a little at the change, it was hard to get used to, then back away slowly from the man. Even though they were here under a flag of truce the Fallen and the Nymphs hadn't exactly got along well.

Dark looked at his hands,he sat there as if he was numb.
Always more of a quiet Fallen memeber he sat there,not noticing Taria,or anything for that matter.
A black feather drifted from his wings as he shifted them slightly i the chilly breeze.

Akane' looked down once more to see a nymph. Hmm..never encountered one of those before... she thought to herself. On the other side of the tree, Haruso was enjoying his lamb. "Damnit Haru! Could you mind your manners and spare the people who find that offensive? As for me, you know I don't care..". Akane found a feather falling into her lap. She looked over to Dark. "Hey Mr. Darth Vader. Stop shedding you mutt and I guess I could say hi..." she grinned. "...If I felt like it.."

Haru looked up at his sister. As usual, he was getting under her skin and he thought he had done enough. He backed of to keep his dining private from the other 'innocents'.

Taria saw the feather fall from the man's wings and on some odd impulse she went and picked it up. It was blacker than a crow's and softer than anything she'd ever felt before and in the light of the moon it shined almost like a star. She bit her lip, it wasn't hers and she shouldn't keep it.
"Um... Sir?" she asked hesitantly looking up at the Fallen, "Your feather. Do you want it back?"

He looked at her with sad,solemn eyes.
"Keep it if you want to."
He flapped his wings a bit.
"I have plently."
He shifted a bit more as another breeze came through.

"Oh. O-okay, thank you." She said, blushing slightly.

He looked at her and stood,dark black hair flowing inbetween his wings.
"Welcome."
He said.

Taria looked up at him with caution tinged with fear, though she knew he wouldn't hurt her she was still wary. She put the feather from his wing in the pocket of her shirt.

"So Fallen. Tell us your story..." Akane' said with a low, mysterious voice. She looked at the odd nymph, quite confused of her race. Elves never came in contact with their kind. She flewn down from the tree, her cape flying up behind her. Landing next to the nymph, she came next to her and started to inspect her. The smell wasn't very familiar, so she stepped back and walked away in confusement.

"Sis. Your so damn curious.." Haru called from the deeper end of the forest.

Taria leaped back in surprise as the winged girl landed next to her, she then tripped over her feet and went head-over-heels into the pond. As she went in she felt her body changing and when she surfaced again she had her tail and gills back. "What'd you do that for?" she shouted at the girl.

"Don't yell at me. You're foolish young one.." Akane' stated back as she leaned against the tree. "Now, go on with your.." she sratched her head. "..Tail?" Akane's race was mixed. She was part vampire - being raised - and part fallen. For the most part she was a tri-bred, but her elven quality shown most. She adjusted her bandage over her eye and waited a response. So, therefore...nymphs never crossed her path.

"You're the one who landed right next to me! What do you think you're doing?" This person was rather aggravating who ever she was.

She's weak... Akane' paused and thought. Her heart is the center of her weakness... She stared into her chest and saw deep into her heart before turning around and whispered. "..Weak...."

Haru looked up to Akane'. He shook his head and knew that she shouldn't go looking into people's heart's. Before he could get out a word she told him to shut up in a hushed voice.

Akane' turned to Jaden. "Looks like someone's annoyed.." she tapped her fingers against the bark of the tree as she tightened her cuffs of her sleeve. Akan'e leaned her head back but to her surprise the thorn on her wing stbbed her in the neck. She placed her two fingers covering uo the blood leakage. The blood ran down her back and hit the bark of the tree. She jumped up and sat alone at the top of the tree.

Akane' peered down to Haru and gave him a really pi*sed off look. "I'm..Fine!" she grunted.

She's so f*cking stubborn... Haru thought to himself as he chucked the carcass of the lamb far behind. He leaned back and peered over to Crimson before closing his eyes and resting.

Now, with Akane' looking at Crimson, she lifted up her fingers to see if the bleeding stopped. Unfortunately it did not. Akane' placed her fingers above the wound pressing lightly to get the blood out. Some dripped on the side of her neck. She wiped it off, biting her lip as she applied more pressure to it. She looked over to Crimson once more. "Yeah." she grunted putting more pressure on at a time. "It'll heal in no time. I'm okay...".

Dark looked up at Akane' he sayed silent and looked at her for a bit longer.
He probably shouldn't have,his eyes smouldered her.She was beautiful,but he probably should go for a single raced woman.
His parents would be furious if he did'nt have a pure fallen life partner.

The pulse in Akane's neck started to beat at a high rate. She took the cloth hanging from her black hat and wrapped it around the same two fingers that will hopefully rid of the blood. She peered down at Dark and saw his lush dark hair sway in his eyes. She lent out a smile and leaned her head back on the tree branch. Her navy blue nails fiddled with her hair as she looked up at the clear skies.

"Girl...don't suck up to me." Akane' looked up to the sky before glancing back down to the creature. "Say what's on your mind. You're here to settle things. But how can we settle our differences when you make it seem like we have none..." she sighed and couldn't seem to get Dark off of her mind. She looked down once more before turning over to find Haru dozed off. ((g2g))

"Well excuse me for being politely!" Taria exclaimed, "And what do you mean? Of course we have differences!"

"Politeness is a waste of time. Just state what you want and get it over with!" Akane' stood up and slid down the bark of the tree. "Plus, we do have differences. You just agreed with me so we wouldn't fight. There will never be things to settle if every one pretends to agree. And by you agreeing, you made it seem like that was one tthing we agreed on..". She walked over to the water and rung the cloth from her neck out. For a momen, the crisp water had a stream of crimson red float down, which suddenly disappeared. Along with the stream, was her cloth in which she threw in. She ran her stellar blue nails around in the sand as the tips of her hair caught the water.

((I'm a mixed breed. I was raised by vampires because I was an orphan but my mother was elven and my father was fallen. So I guess I'm a mixed, check out pg. 1 and my char. is there...))

This creature was so worried and infuriated by everyone and everything. Akane' now knew by her age that emotion's of anger and annoyance were a waste of time.

She slid out an ocarina from the side of her skirt. There was a pocket which held it inside. She positioned her fingers and placed the ocarina in a horizontal post. She played out a lovely melody which told of a love story. Each elven had a ocarina in which played their emotions on a simple scale. She continued to play and disolve all her emotions of sorrow or hate or whatever she felt needed to leave her mind and turn it into energy. This song in particular was expressing her sorrow of love, for when she stops playing, the sorrow and sadness will leave her relaxed.

Taria listened in shock to the beautiful music coming from the little instrument. It was so sad and lonely sounding and her heart cried out for it. She felt herself calm as the music continued, soothing her rattled nerves and relaxing her.
"Beautiful!" she murmured, mesmerized by it.

Along with the sad melody, the ocarina was very seductive. Affecting only male ears, with the seductive harmony, she played her heart out. As the song ended she played a long note before laying back and sighing. She swirved her fingers in the sand once more letting out a giggle. For the most part, the ocarina makes life just a little sweeter.

Haru was woken by the melody. He, for being the most part vampire, did not obtain this beautiful instrument, but liked the lovely tune it played. He smiled at Akane' knowing another job well done.

Akane' turned around to hear the hustling of many foot steps throughout the forest. Her keen sense of hearing picked up even the faintest whispers. Oh great, another one of those...things... Akane' mumbled to herself as she spotted the male nymph.

Dark looked at the ground as he had blocked out the melody he knew those things could get him in very big trouble.He was so quiet,he looked to see if Crimsion was still there.
He did'nt see her and begun to panic inwardly.
A cold sweat bead dropped from his forehead.
He sat down imediatly and hugged his knees against the tree.

Taria grinned in relief as she saw Chris approaching, "What took you so long?" she asked as she ran up to him.

He squeaked a bit and slapped his hand over his mouth.
Looking to see if anyone heard.
More sweat dropped from his head,he needed another Fallen.

He whispered.
He closed his wings close to him.

Akane' turned almost upchucking at the revolting site of the male creature. Her eyes looked with wonder as to what was wrong with Dark. She looked over to him in concern as her eyes glistened a shimmery turquose. "Hey Fallen...you okay?" Akane' looked deep into his heart and saw sheer loneliness. She looked down at the ground before peering up and looking deeper into his soul. She couldn't see much. Just loneliness. He was a true fallen. Akane's hands started to shake while looking into his heart. She quickly snapped out so it wasn't very noticable of her power. She turned over to him once mroe awaitng a response.

Haru shook his head. "You know you shouldn't be doing that..." he murmered as he got up and started to stare at the koi in the stream.

Dark layed his head in his arms,
"No.."
He whispered and shook a bit as the breeze blew onto him,black feathers flew into the chilly breeze.
Another bead of cold sweat dropped down as he wiped it away.
"Crimsion..."
He whispered,he hated being without someone he knew,it was horrifying as his past life shot through his head.

Flashback:


No!Dark cried as he ran down the shadowed ally way.His father ran to fast as Dark fell into a muddy puddle.
He was five years old,
"No,no,no!''
He cried splashing into the puddle,
"Daddy why'd you leave me..."
He cried as tears dripped down.
People walked by only giving him a glance,he was almost invisible to them.

A feather landed on her lap. Akane' couldn't get him out of her mind. She knew he was hurt. She could sense it. "What's the matter?" she looked to him. "Don't say you don't wanna talk about. Your swimming in a pool of your sweat!" she exclaimed in a concerned voice.

He wiped his forehead.
"Where's Crimsion..."
Ha said softly his voice cracking he wouldn't look up.
A tear dripped onto his leg as he curled tighter.
"I need Crimsion..."

Akane' stood her distance from Dark. She knew it would just make him freak more. She wanted to comfort him. So lonely. So sad. "Crimson. Dear, I'm sure she's around. Would you like to go look for her?" she said in a hushed, soothing voice.

He moved a bit and stood,beautiful black wings flared out,like crows wings,but much more lovely.
He wiped his eyes,

He said,looking to her for a moment,then away.

The grace of this creature was astounding. His long, beautiful, black wings spread and took her breath away. She rarely saw these creatures back home. She smiled and stood next to his side starting to walk, peering at him, and then turning back and sticking her tongue out to Haru.

Akane' smiled and took his hand gladly. She walked along the forest path as the sun started to set. She looked over to him before blushing and looking down. "Any idea where she would've gone?"

"Oh, nothing.." she said as a shiver went up her spine. "I just hate being alone in the forest...". Akane' turned to him, her hand shook for a breif moment.

She felt the warmth of the darkness. I don't think anythning could be quite soothing than the shadows. She looked to him and smiled. "Thanks..."

She leaned her head to his wing as a suprising shock
of adrenaline ran throughout her body.

Kyan landed them softly on the ground, by a small creek. He bent down and filled everything he could with water, while Melanie found a suitable place to rest.

Taria looked up at the sudden arrival of the angels. What else could they be? They shone with light and their wings were pure white. She walked up to the one by the river, "Hello..." she said uncertainly.

"To..run.." Akane' replied with a jolt in her step. "Are you ready to run?". She looked at him, as his black wings disappeared in the shadow. She wish it couldlast like this forever... bout nonetheless, she was looking for Crimson.

Kyan looked up at Taria, surprised to see another being in the forest, but he managed a smile. "Wasn't expecting to see anyone around here." Melanie noticed Kyan talking, and flew out of the tree she had just climbed, hovering beside Kyan, she smiled at Taria as well.

"Wait. Isn't this the place they're holding the peace talks?" Taria asked, confused. "And you two are the representatives of the angels, right?"

Melanie blinked, "Oops..." Kyan's smile dropped to a frown. "Melanie what do you mean by oops?" Melanie flew back a few feet. "I forgot why I was taking us over the forest...It was for the meeting...And sometime in between leaving for flight and flying...I forgot completely. But we're here now!" Melanie said quickly. Kyan shook his head, "That's the last time you get to take us somewhere without telling me..."

L still sat in the tree. Obviously, no one exept that Fallen had seen him.

Aden ran in the forest. He'd have to kill the Fallen Girl..

Taria turned back to Chris, "Next time have someone wake you up! It took forever for you to get here!" she turned to the angels again, "Nice to meet you!" she said and gave a small bow.

Chris looked around. He saw one elf, one Vampire and two Angels. ''Weren't there suposed to be four Elves and two Fallen here too?'' he asked.

Taria nodded, "Yeah, I saw one of the Fallen and I think the Elves but I think they wandered off."

Taria nodded, "I think the Fallen was looking for its other representative. Also I don't think everyone's here yet."

Taria shrugged, "I don't know, but I don't think wandering would be a particularly good idea. Even though we're under truce I still wouldn't want to face many of these people in the dark."

"Sounds like the best plan," Taria looked at the lake a bit longingly. "I'm feeling a bit dry, I'm going to go swim."

''I'll just sit here, I think..'' Chris said and sat down.

Taria shrugged, "Suit yourself!" she said and took a running jump into the lake. There was the brief moment of weirdness as her body changed and then she was flashing through the water. She dived down to the bottom and then sped up and did a backflip through the air, the moonlight shining on her scales.

Crimson thought she heard someone. ''Hallo?'' She said.

Jaden sneaked behind her.

Taria was exploring the bottom of the lake when she found a small river running out of it that she hadn't seen before. 'It won't hurt to explore it...' she thought and set out along the bottom. After a while she saw what she thought was a Fallen standing in the woods and behind her something was sneaking up. She shot out of the water and onto the bank, changing as she went, "Watch out!" she called to the Fallen.

Crimson got scared and ran away.

Taria looked around warily, but saw nothing. Had it been her imagination? Most likely. She shivered. 'Time to go back!' she thought and hurriedly resubmerged herself and swam back.

Taria walked on land and sat next to him, she was shaking slightly, "I found a little river going out of the lake and I thought I'd follow it so I did and there was a Fallen and something was stalking her! So I told her to watch out and she ran and the thing was gone!"

Kyan flew around, until he had Melanie's attention, then he flew over to the river and stood centimeters over the surface, "Look I can walk on water," He laughed. Melanie smiled and shook her head, "Your so childish, come over here and let me have a drink, you stole all the bottles I had." Kyan stuck out his tongue, but flew over to Melanie and handed her all of the bottles he had filled with water, Melanie slung the straps over various branches and tied down the bottles. "Nice idea," Kyan said after she as finished. Melanie flipped her hair dramatically, "As always." Kyan resisted the temptation to mention she had forgotten about the meeting awhile ago, and started to fly lazily over the river.

Taria woke up and glided up to the surface of the water, smiling up at the moon above her.

Akane' slipped away from Dark's grip and tried to play it off cool. "We were actually looking for you!" she said with a smile.

Akane' ran ahead so the two could get re-aquainted again. She had to return to Haru so they could both be accounted for when they represent themselves. She ran around a corner making it back to the camp and jumping on her brotyher. "Boo!" she shouted in a playful tone.
