Search Of The Dragon Eggs

Long ago, in the time of mythical beasts and kingdoms, there was a great war of Man and Dragons. The war lasted for many a time, but man finally won, and the dragon race died. The queen Dragon, Narakira, used her final breath to send the remaining four eggs across the land to be found by those who could save them. But, those consumed by darkness and greed wanted the legendary power. Thus a great search to find the remaining dragons among humans began. This search has lasted decades, but no eggs have been found....

But, a man named Jax has raised an army to find the eggs. Sadly, he has found two, keeping them hidden away. Then, the princess of the land had a vision of Jax finding the other eggs. What she saw terrified her. Now, she has decided to request for a group to find the other two, going along herself. Will she be able to recruit a group in time to find them? Only time will tell....

Lina tossed and turned in her sleep before she woke with a jolt. She had a sweat and was panting. She rubbed her head. remembering her dream.
"A.... dream?" She muttered before shaking her head. "It couldn't...."

Jax held a blue egg bigger than his hand up. He smirked, eyeing it and then the other sitting on a pedestal.
"Only two more..." He set the blue one down and walked over to the window of his tower. He stared at the moon, an evil grin on his face

Lars was in a pub drinking his woe away all of his family killed slain right infront of him and he could do nothing to stop it
"i will kill that bastard jax with my bare hands" he said with a twisted drunken smirk
Lars got up and stumbled to the door and walked out side trying to hold the liqour inside.

Walking towards the princess bedroom she yawned. She didn't get much sleep last night since she was practicing her fighting. She was always great at fighting but she never knew anything about her past but living here with the princess as her protector. It didn't bother her much, it always slipped her mind. "Princess, time for breakfast!" She spoke in her normal sweet low voice.

Lina blinked before looking at Kloud. "... Do you remember the tale of the hidden dragon eggs that Stone told us?"

Stoen rolled her eyes as she waked away. "Her mother and father can deal with her. Right now i need to get a break!" She yawned walking out of the castle. Smelling the fresh air that surrounded her she smiled sweetly. "What a day....," she muttered walking out of the castle gates and into the town.

Lina blinked, having heard footsteps. 'Must've been Stone...' She thought before standing and smiling at Kloud. "Come on. Let's talk about this as we walk to breakfast."

Lars felt some hands grab his sholder "hey you, are you alright"
the guard said, turning around lars put his hands and knocked off the hands of the guard and punched him in his face "who are you to be touching a-" he hick upped and burped"-a....a...knight like me"
more guards went over to help there friend up and arrest the man who had just broken 2 laws(being drunk on the streets and assulting a guard)
they grabbed lars and dragged him to the castle dungeon there he was locked up until tried before his fellow knights

Seeing the men pulling the other drunk man into the the dungeon made her frown. "Damn it!" She growled under her breath stomping back to the castle. She now had something else to do, take care of the drunk man! She ignored the screaming in her head about being pissed off she just kept walking, "Damn, I'll get over this!" She spoke smiling roughly at the men in the dungeon. "What did the drunk man do?" She asked holding back wanting to kill them for ruining her perfect day.

"I think... I had a vision about it." She stared out the window. "About... Jax, the banished one... and he had them..." She shook her head before smiling. "Come on. Let's go bug Stone!" She began to walk down the hallway.

"ooooh one of our men tried to help out the drunk and what did he get for it, a broken nose" he puased
"assult on a royal guard and drunkeness in public."

Lina smiled back at Kloud before blinking, noticing Stone talking to some guards. She ran over, curious about what had happened. She stood to the side of Stone, listening quietly.

Stone growled smacking the man behind the head. "Well the guard is fine! let the man go, he didn't us no harm! Besides, I've been drunk before, many of you have! Let the man free and I'll escort him out!" She spoke calmly. She wasn't in the mood to be friendly right now, she always was but today was suppose to be all to herself and no one there to bother her, this day only came up once a year.

Lina smiled, happy how Stone always took control. She also inched away, not wanting to anger her either.

Lina blinked before whispering to Kloud. "I think he's drunk. He may not remember any of this. At least, that's the idea I got." But, she smiled and waved to him as well.

She looked at the drunk man, "You drunk man, follow me if you can!" She muttered the last two words to him. She looked at Lina and Kloud, "You two better get something to eat, e are going into the town today for some shopping. Parents order!" She let out a sigh.

Lina pouted. "You're so mean, Stone-Sama." She then nodded to Kloud and started to walk to the dining area.

Lina walked in and looked around, not seeing her parents. She sighed, relieved before sitting and looking at the food. She stopped, staring at the eggs.

"Eggs..." She mumbled, deep in thought. "Just like in my dream..." She looked up at the ceiling, remembering her dream.

She blinked before looking down. "I can only remember pieces... But I know I saw Jax and he had four large eggs; Green, purple, red, and blue. I'm certain they were dragon eggs. And the land was all burnt and destroyed..."

Stone finally leading the man outside slammed the door. Damn this damn tat!, she thought trying to calm herself down. She was still pissed off but she will get over it. She walked into the kitchen and grabbed a bread. Looking around she let out a sigh then walked back out.

Lina blinked as she ran off. She sighed before putting on the cloak she used to hide from crowds. She didn't like getting a lot of attention. She then walked into the crowd, wondering what to do.

Stone grabbed the beer mug and laughed, "Good to be back men!" She lifted her mug into the air as the other cheered. She remember becoming a bandit before the babysitter. She was the best of the best, till she turned to good.

Lina glanced at the many shops and tents around the square. It was the time of year when all the merchants and travelers came to sell their goods. She sighed, still bored.

Finishing her drink she smiled. "God day my brothers! I must go!" She yelled leaving the bar with a smile. haven't had that much fun in a long time! she thoguht.

Lina stared at the ground as she thought more about her dream. Suddenly, she bumped into someone.
"Oof!" She fell forward as the other person fell the other way.
"Sorry!" The boy got up and turned around. He blinked when he saw her. He held out a hand. "My bad. I wasn't looking."
Lina took it standing. "Neither was I."

Stone quickly bought a necklace, a special one. One that would tell directions for places you want to go. She thoguht it would be nice for Lina. They were going to travel soon, but she hadn't told her yet. Scanning the area she spotted Lina. letting out a sigh seeing a boy help her up she walked a little bit closer and watched.

"Hey..." The boy took a closer look at Lina's face. "You're..."
"Sh." She held a finger to her lips. "I don't like attention."
"Sorry." He smiled sweetly. "I'm Ryou."
"Lina." She nodded.
"Of course. Everyone in the land knows that." He bowed politely.

Stone looked at the boy,Ryou, huh?, she thoguht. She never heard that name before in the town. She shock her head walking towards them, "Come on kid!" She spoke talking to both of them. "Follow me!" She muttered to them again. Since the boy saw Lina now, she wanted to know that she could trust the kid.

Ryou blinked confused before Lina started walking after Stone. "Come on. She's just my caretaker."
He nodded before following her. "So, what brings you into the town?"
She shrugged. "My Father and Mother said I needed to. Though I don't like being out in crowds that much. But I wanna hear about you." She smiled at him.
"Well, I'm an apprentice, but my master just recently passed on."
"I'm sorry."
He waved it off. "He was really old."

Walking into the bar again she whistled. Hearing the signal the everyone ran out but the bar keeper. He didn't mind, he knew the signal too so he went into the back. "Well names Stone, Take a seat!" She spoke calmly.

Lina pouted as she stood beside Stone. "I hate bars... They smell bad."
Royu cracked a smiled, holding in his laughter.

"its the smell of freedom, kid!" She muttered. "Name is Ryou right?" She asked sitting down too. "names Stone, i guess you know Lina!"

Ryou blinked before nodding. "Yeah. I guess. I don't really know her, though. I probably know her about as much as anyone else in this town."
Lina sighed, sitting. She looked around, never seeing the inside of a bar.
"Just don't tell Mother and Father, Stone-sama... They'd be furious if they found out I was in a bar...."

They will be mad if i was in a bar! Trust me!" She smiled with a nod at the boy, "Well its nice to know i can trust you not kill you" She pointed out. She turned to Lina, "Do you want to know more about that dream you had?"

Ryou sweatdropped, half-scared of what Stone had said.
Lina shook her head. "I know what it's about. I just can't tell if it's a vision or not."

Stone let out a sigh, "its a vision, well not a dream! Your great great mother had this gift. She could tell things before they happen odd but true! If you want to learn more about Jax and the four dragon eggs i suggest you go to the the black mountain! My home place, its far very far from here. It would take about a 5 day trip!" She went on talking to herself. quickly snapping out of it she looked back at Lina, "Your parents are out of town right now for about 3 weeks! thats 21 days! So since they are out, we are going to travel and learn more!" She knew that Lina had to learn more so she could do something about this.

Lina half-glared. "I know what my grandmother's gift was, I know where you came from, and I know how much three weeks is. I'm not an idiot." She sighed. "Anyway, we probably should leave. I want to learn more about the dragons eggs..."
"You mean the ones that the queen Narakira sent after the great war?" Ryou blinked. "I've heard of it, but I never dreamed it might be real..." He looked up. "Real dragons...."

Stone smriked at Lina with a nod. She is growing up with that kind of attitude!,she smiled. Stone turned to Ryou and raised an eyebrow, "Yeah! those dragons. Of course they are real. Jax already has two, we need to find the other two. One more thing before we go. Don't expect to see dragons, they can be in human form!" She snapped walking out. "its OPEN!" She yelled as she went out as the men filled the bar again.

"Wuah!" Lina gasped as the men poured in. She and Ryou squeezed their way out, panting.
"Wow...." Lina had starry eyes. "I get to find dragons eggs!"
Ryou sweatdropped. "You really love dragons, huh?"
"Yup!"

Stone ignored them, "Come on get packing, Ryou you are welcome to come, if you have clothes you can pack, pack them. If not we will buy you some! Its going to be a really rough trip!" She spoke looking at the sky then her hand.

"Eh?!?" He blinked, pointing to himself. "Why me?!? I've barely met any of you!"
"Come on!" Lina smiled. "It's be fun!"
He sighed before adjusting the pack he carried around. "... Alright. I have all my belongings in here. I don't really live anywhere so..."

Stone nodded waiting, "Lina you can go back. get everything ready! I'll get the horses!" She smiled.

"Um!" She nodded before grabbing Ryou's wrist. "Come on! You're gonna help me pack!" She darted off to the castle, dragging Ryou with her.

"I'll have three of your black horses! They are fast right?" She asked as the horse keeper nodded with a smile. "Fastest!" She spoke in her crackly voice. Stone laughed, "Perfect!" Grabbing the horses by its leashy things, she made them follow her back to the castle. Her bags were already pack since she knew this would be coming.

"I think we're ready." Lina stated as she closed her bag. She had four pairs of clothing and some other belongings. Ryou's eyes were wide as he looked at her room.
"Wow..." He muttered. "It's so big..."
"A perk of being royalty, I suppose." She shrugged before she garbbed her bag. "Let's go. Stone will be waiting out front."
He nodded, following.

Stone got the horses ready. "Ready?" She asked them with a smile on her face. it had been forever since she ridden a horse and she wasn't great at it either.

"Um!" Lina nodded as she and Ryou hopped on the other two. Lina stroked her horses mane, smiling. "We're ready."

Stone nodded getting on her horse. She wasn't a fan of heights either. She closed here yes as she looked around. To the red forest!" She spoke riding and getting low so she could get a fast speed.

Lina's horse began to go. At first, it wasn't very fast, but it began to increase it's speed. Ryou followed, having no troubles at all.

Entering the red forest she looked around quickly as her bow and and arrows strapped to her back and her sword tied around her waist. Never trust the red forest!, she thought.

Lina felt a dark aura as she entered the forest. Luckily, she had starpped her quiver and bow to her back. Ryou looked around cautiously and he held a hand on his blade.

"We are getting off the road!" She yelled knowing something was there! "Never take your eyes off of me!" she snapped going into the trees.

"Alright!" Lina called as she followed Stone. She glanced back, amking sure Ryou was right behind her. He was following just as quickly as she was. She looked forward again, keeping her eyes on Stone.

She growled at the moving trees as they cam alive, "Hold on tight!" She muttered jumping over the lake. Becoming unsteady on the horse she shock the feeling off and grabbed the reins.

"Aha-!" Lina gasped as she looked around. Ryou's eyes widened as he came up beside Lina. "Come on!"

Stone looked around as they pasted the lake, coming into a hault she looked at them. "There aren't a lot of trees now, so we are safer!"

Lina sighed, relieved as she looked around. She stared at the lake. It was glistening beautifully.

"So, not much of a typical day for a princess, huh?" He smirked.

As they rode she looekd at the sky. Damn its getting dark!, she thought riding over the hills that were covered in ash. "Don't slow down one bit! The ash can burn us!"

"Alright!" Lina called to Stone. "We'll be careful!"
Ryou glanced around, expecting the worst to come.

Stone jumped over the flame rock, red rock as heat steamed out of it. "Towns not far, horses need some rest!" She yelled still riding and jumping, "next is a river, the solid river! We don't have to do anything but ride over it!" she yelled again.

"Okay! How soon will we get there?" Lina asked, weary of any rocks or burning ashes.
"Not soon enough..." Ryou muttered.

Stone nodded, "Just soon!" she yelled as they came upon the big solid river, "Be careful!" She warned them as she roded slowly over it.

Lina looked around, admring the beauty of nature. Ryou just eyed the area, being cautious of any danger.

Smiling remembering a few things back in her day she kept riding still, "Here, let go slow!" She yelled as she stopped riding so fast and began to trollop towards the gate of the village.

"Thank goodness." Lina sighed as she made the horse go faster. Ryou shook his head, smiling, before speeding up as well.

Once arriving the villagers smiled, "Been a long time!" She whispered as she got off her horse as she headed down the street, "You guys here, get to the inn, i need to meet a good friend of mine!" She smiled throwing them a a sack of gold pieces as she started to run.

Ryou gawked at the bag of gold as he walked to Lina. "Do we really need that much?!?"
"No, but it never hurts." Lina shrugged as she looked around. "... Let's go find the inn."
Ryou nodded as they walked to it.

Smiling she banged on a door of one of the larger houses at the top of the hill. As a man with golden hair and green blue eyes smiled, he was younger but she knew him when he was just a little boy. "Dare!" She smiled as they hugged.

"I wonder who Stone-sama's friend is?" Lina thought aloud as she and Ryou walked to the inn. "I mean, she has a lot of weird and unusual friends..."
"That's not very nice."
"It's true, though. You should meet them."
"No thanks." He sweatdropped as they walked into the inn.
"Well, let's get the best rooms." Lina smiled, walking up to the counter.

Smiling sweetly they both began to laugh, "What are you doing here Stone?" his voice deep and manly as he looked at her. "I'm here protecting princess Lina and her friend Ryou." She smiled. "Come on I want you to meet them, they are nice people!" She laughed grabbing his hand like when they were little again as they ran.

"Eww..." Lina stared at a mold stain on the wall. Ryou sweatdropped.
"It's just mold."
"It's gross."
"It's just-"
"It's GROSS!!!" She sat on the bed furthest away from it. "I don't want that bed."

As they got to the hotel she smiled letting go of his hand, "Where is the girl and the boy?" She asked as the inn keeper handed her a key walking up as Dare followed. Knocking on the door but just opening it a second later she smiled. "Aww, don't you just love this place" She muttered.

"Stone-samaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...." Lina whined. "It's gross here. Can we go elsewhere PLEASE???"
"She's been whining the entire time." Ryou was leaning against a none-moldy wall. "It kinda gets annoying."
"But it's GROOOOOOOOOOOSSSS!!! There's MOLD on the wall!!!"

Stone rolled her eyes, "if you like, my house has many rooms! if you like you can stay there!" Dare interrupted showing his kindness as he step next to Stone. He smiled at them.

Lina blinked before standing. She bowed repeatedly.
"THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU!!!!" She smiled before covering her mouth. "Ah- I'm sorry. I didn't ask for your name."

Stone laughed, "This is a childhood friend of mine, his name is Dare!" She spoke pointing her thumb to him. "Seems he is bad at hiding his kindness!"

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Dare." Lina smiled sweetly. "I'm Lina, as you may know, and that's Ryou over there."
Ryou waved.

Dare laughed, "Yeah, i heard about you two! Nice to meet you both!" Stone smiled, "Well grab your bags then," Stone sighed, "Dare you really shouldn't of invited them to your house!" She spoke.

Lina looked between the two before shrugging and putting her bag on her shoulder. Ryou waited , still watching.

"So how long have you known Stone?" Dare asked smiling at Lina.

Lina counted on her fingers before shrugging. "A while, I guess. She's more like my mother than my actual mother." She smiled sweetly. "Though, she gets REALLY mean a lot."
Ryou stifled his laughter the best he could.

Dare laughed, "Thats her way of protecting you, trust me she can be meaner!" She glared at them ."I heard that!"

"I know. I've seen her with guards or regular people." She shuddered. "I'm just glad I'm not them."

Dare smiled with a nod, "She is a tough girl, I'm sort of afraid of her when she is pissed off i mean!"

"I'm not surprised." She nodded her head. "You'd have to be inhuman to be not scared of Stone-sama. Right Ryou?"
"... I don't want to answer that."

Dare smiled, "i guess you are right!" he nodded as Stone was ahead of them.

"Well, we should get going." Lina stated before heading out the door, Ryou following silently.

Dare nodded as they all began to walk. "What a beautiful day!" Stone smiled.

Lina looked up, smiling. "It really is"
"Perfect weather for traveling." Ryou stated, nodding. "No rain or cold at all."

Dare smiled, "There is my house!" he pointed to the big white house.

"Wow...!" Lina stared at it. "I mean, that's is the biggest house I've ever seen!"
"What about your castle?" Ryou blinked.
"I said HOUSE."

Dare smiled. "i built it with a few of my friends!" He spoke entering the gates. "Come on!" Dare spoke as Stone held the gate open for the two of them.

Lina and Ryou walked past the gate, still staring at the house.
"How many rooms does it have?" Lina asked curiously.

"About 25! One for each of you guys, but you must be hungry!"

"Famished, actually." Lina looked down. "I didn't get a breakfast."

Dare smiled, "i'll get something cooking, please the living room is in there. Feel free to look around while I'm gone!"

Stone smiled sitting down on the couch waiting.

Lina stood as did Ryou. She was admiring the house.
"It's very nice..." She commented.

"Its been a long time since this was built!" Stone spoke smiling. "You should see the backyard!"

"How long ago was it built?" Lina asked. "It looks brand new."
"Really." Ryou agreed. "It looks like it was built yesterday."

"Let me think, about 10 years ago!" She smiled, "Looks new? You should of seen it when it was new! It shined perfectly!" She smiled. "Really?" Dare laughed as he sat down some tea, soup, and read.

Lina took a cup of tea, sitting as well. "Thank you." She nodded to Dare before looking at Ryou. "Want some?"
He nodded, sitting as well and taking a cup.

"its kind of hot so let it cool for a bit"! He smiled sitting down. "So what brings the princess, her friend, and her protector here. You are far away from your kingdom!"

Lina looked down. "Well, I had a dream about the dragons eggs. But I know now that it wasn't actually a dream. It was a premonition."

Dare caught his breath, but nodded. Seeing this action Stone let out a sigh, "Do you know something Dare?" She asked. Dare leaned back but shock his head lieing, he was a pretty good liar.

Ryou eyed him for a second. "Are you SURE you don't?"
"Please, Dare. If you know ANYTHING, could you tell us?" Lina asked.

"I have nothing to say about this topic! When are you leaving?" He asked his tone becoming more rough.

Lina recoiled, hurt, before shaking her head. "That's not up to me. Ask Stone-sama."

"We leave tomorrow!" She spoke losing her eye contact with Dare. "Will you please excuse me!" Dare muttered leaving the room. "Something is with Dare! Something is different about him!" Stone muttered sipping on her tea.

Lina stared at him as he left. "He seems nervous..." She stated, sighing. "... Like WE'RE the threat..."

Stone sighed, "He never was found of strangers, but you are with me so he doesn't hate you so. When I met him he was small but there was something with his eyes, that still haunt me till this day!"

"Really? Something actually haunts YOU?" Lina blinked, shocked.
"It must be pretty bad, then." Ryou sweatdropped.

"Dragon eyes!" She spoke calmly. They say once you see a dragon you get dragon eyes, but thats only a fake tall till I say it for real. He was a little boy so many cuts and bruises over his body. Poor boy"

"How sad." Lina's eyes softened. "He was an orphan?"
Ryou averted his gaze. "I know what that's like."

"Yeah, he said his mtoher died protecting him. He never seen his father or heard about him, to tell you the truth he said he never knew what a father was!" She spoke sipping on her tea.

"I see." Lina nodded. "It's only natural that he would be so defensive or aloof after all he's been through."

She nodded, "Dare is not the one to open up to people easily. I don't know if he even trusts me anymore!" She spoke closing her eyes and putting down her tea.

"I'm sure he does." Lina smiled. "After all, you've known him for a long time, right?"
"I don't know about that." Ryou objected. "Even if you've been friends for a long time, it's hard to trust people when you've been through a lot."

Stone nodded at both of their opinions. "Time will tell!" She spoke opening her eyes. "Lets hope he trust me enough to let us be at peace till we leave!"

"We can only hope." Lina nodded, sipping at her tea. "Though, I do wonder why he got so worked up over the eggs."

Stone shrugged, "i don't know. I'm not going to ask. He will only ignore the question and walk out"

"You mean like what just happened?" Ryou arched a brow.
"You said he had Dragon Eyes, right?" Lina asked Stone.

She nodded at Ryou, "i know him. He would do that!" She turned to Lina, "Don't get that smart, humans can't be dragons! But it can be he saw one!" She spoke.

Lina blinked confused. "I didn't say that... I was going to ask if there were any other dragons besides the ones in the eggs. I mean, the war ended long ago, and Dare would have to be VERY old to see one, right?"

"Wars never end!" She muttered, "i was only about younger then him about a year when i saw him. There are four dragons, every dragon develops differently the dragon he saw probably was rooming free never been caught!"

"But there were four eggs. They couldn't have hatched, could they? And if they didn't, are there any dragons alive?" Lina asked, curiously.

"Two dragons are out there!" she muttered. "Jax has two!" she muttered again.

"So there ARE living dragons?!?" Lina exclaimed happily. "The eggs hatched?!? That's amazing!"

"Yeah!" she smiled at Lina's happiness.

"I want to see one so bad!" Lina cried out with glee. "I've always wanted to!" She practically had stars in her eyes.
Ryou smiled as well.

She laughed, "Keep it down!" she smiled.

"Sorry." She apologized, still smiling. "I can't help it, though."

"Don't worry." she smiled. She stood up and stretched as she looked around.

Lina took another sip, looking at the doorway. "I wonder where Dare went..."

Stone shrugged, "Let me go see." She smiled opening the door and closing it as she left. Such a big house!, she thoguht.

"Okay." Lina nodded as Stone left. She took another sip, sighing.
"Why was your dream so important?" Ryou asked.
"A banished man named Jax had the dragons and was ruler." She began. "And Lynia was just a deserted wasteland; No life in sight."
"I see."

Walking upstairs to his room she hesitated on knocking on his dark wood door. But once she took a big breath she knocked on his door silently.

"And that's why we're going on this journey." Lina concluded.
"Yeah, but why me?"
"I don't know. But, you ARE my only friend outside the castle walls." She smiled at Ryou, who smiled back.

kloud smiled "so I was correct you do have friends outside of the castle besides me well I don't really count on the outside part anymore since I moved into the castle someone told me different"

Opening the door since she didn't get any answer she looked around. "Dare?" She was worried as she closed the door behind her and looked at the room, Dragon..., she looked around. They were so many things about dragons here.

"So, do you like dragons, Ryou?" Lina asked.
"Yeah." He nodded. "Whenever I stop by a library, I see if there are any books on them. Though, I probably don't like them as much as you do."
"Probably not. I absolutely love them."

kloud chuckled "wow I think you two would make a great couple both love dragons....hold on I want to give you both something I made" she got into her bag and pulled out two thick books both a different color and she handed them to lina and ryou "their dragon books they have evrything...well almost everything about dragons in them there's a few blank pages for you to fill in while we're on this quest"

"A couple?" Ryou's eye twitched as Lina flipped through the pages of her book.
"Wow, Kloud. This is amazing!" She exclaimed.

Her eyes widen at the floor so many dragon scales ere there. She froze when she felt someone touch her shoulder. "Stone?" She turned around quickly getting to her fighting stance. "Stone...," Dare muttered before he fell on his knees. Stone's eyes widen as she let out a scream.

Lina jumped, up, hearing Stone's scream. "Stone-sama!" She began to run up the stairs, Ryou following. He took out his blade, just in case as Lina prepared her bow.

"thanks the scetches are mine I drew them from memory everything in there you'll find in books there's also other info that they don't have in books" kloud pulled out her swords and ran after lina and ryou hoping stone was ok

She tripped over something as she walked backwards. Throwing the thing she was scared out of her mind. Dare was all scratched up and bleeding.

Lina gasped as Ryou's eyes widened when they entered the room. Dare was very injured. Lina put her bow aya, unsure of what to do.

Stone looked at Dare with widen eyes. She was shaking from what she saw. Dare..., she thought as she ran to his side.

Lina watched, eyes wide as she covered her mouth.

She gulped, "Dare...," She muttered looking at him then back to Lina and them. "Gets some water and bandages!" She ordered looking at Dare.

"Where? This house is huge!" Lina cried, panicking. "Where would I find them?!?"

"The kitchen! Its two doors down from the living room! Go!" She yelled panicking as she looked around.

"Um!" Lina grabbed Ryous's wrist and ran down as fast as she could. They went into the kitchen as Lina grabbed a bucket and filled it with water while Ryou searched for bandages. They got all of the supplies and made their way back up, carefully.

Placing him on his bed she took off his shirt. he is hurt badly!,she thought bitting her bottom lip.

"Here!" Lina and Ryou brought over the bucket and bandages. "Anything else we could do to help?"

"No , thank you!" She muttered dipping a towel in the water and tapping it slightly on Dare's wounds. "i don't know how he got these but the claw marks... they seem so damn familiar!" She muttered.

Lina winced, watching Stone clean his wounds. She blinked, "Familiar? You mean that you recognize them?"

Stone nodded, "Yeah...," she closed here eyes, "So much blood...," She whispered tapping Dare's arm.

Ryou looked over the wounds. "They're so big..." He muttered. "Larger than any animal I'VE ever seen..."
"They look almost like a bear's... The pattern, I mean." Lina stated.

"You mean you never seen these kinds of wounds?" stone asked them a little supriesed.

kloud went over tp dare and examined some of his wounds then looked around the room and at some of the scales then went back to dare "it looks like a dragon was here dare what happend to you?"

The two shook their heads.
"I've seen some LIKE them, but not quite as big or deep." Ryou stated.

"Dragon marks...," she closed her eyes. So many tings to talk about yet she was staying so damn calm. "Can you please leaves us. We need to talk." Stone muttered as Dare opened his eyes.

Lina nodded before looking at Dare again. She then turned and left along with Ryou.

Stone looked at Dare who didn't look art her. "Dare...," She whispered. Dare closed his eyes telling her everything to the last detail. He wanted to get it over with.

kloud looked at dare then sighed "very well stone-sama but let me know if you need help with something I am an expert on dragon things" she left the room

"Princess, that's not very appropriate." Ryou whispered, sweatdropping as Lina listened in on the door.
"Be quiet." She muttered. "I can't hear anything anyway."

"YOU FREAKIN IDIOT!" Stone cried being heard all over the house. Tears streamed down her face. "You *******!" She yelled.

Lina jumped high into the air before scurrying behind Ryou and holding her chest, eyes wide.
"What in Lynia was that?!?" Ryou gawked.

"You should of told me earlier!" She yelled. Dare winced as she snapped at him. he wanted to speak badly but h knew she will cut his head off.

"Stone-sama's so angry." Lina blinked, backing away. "I can hear her yelling all the way through the door."
"I know." Ryou backed away, too. ".... Let's not piss her off at all today."
"Agreed."

Dare stood up he was taller then Stone but he was slumping because of the marks. "What about the marks?" She asked yelled getting into her fighting stance.

kloud flinched but she was used to yelling since that's what her teacher had done when she never did anything right or correct but that was before she had met lina she wanted to enter to protect dare from stone's rage but she knew better

"Marks? Does she mean the cuts?" Lina blinked.
"I guess." Ryou shrugged. "I'm not entirely sure, though."

"They-I- was born with them!" Dare hesitated as Stone growled. "You-you JERK!" She yelled wanting to slap him. "You lied to me all our lives!" She snapped.

"Born with who?" Ryou blinked as Lina shook her head.
"And... He lied?" She blinked, confused. "This doesn't make any sense."

They both turned to the door as Dare walked over to it opening it looking at Lina and Ryou. "You two...,"he whispered.

kloud sighed and her hand twitched she wanted to open the door and help dare then she backed away as the door opened and she looked at dare "are you alright dare?"

They blinked, gulping.
"W-we weren't listening in! Honest!" Lina defended them as Ryou nodded.
"Stone told us to leave and we did! You two were yelling, so..." He trailed off, knowing the trouble they were in.
"We wanted to know what was wrong with you, Dare."

"he is fine!" Stone muttered walking out of the room with a cold stare at Dare. Dare let out a sigh siting down at his bed. "I'm fine!" He smiled at them.

Lina eyed him. "... Fine. Whatever you say." She offered a smile.
Ryou blinked before looking around, uncomfortably.

kloud smiled and sighed in relief "that's good so what's with the wounds and the scales on your floor?"

Lina blinked, looking down and gasping. She hadn't noticed the scaled before. She walked in, staring at them with wide eyes.

Dare nodded, "Did you hear anything?" He asked.

Ryou looked down. "Well, we heard Stone yelling, but we couldn't make any sense of it." He muttered, staring at the scales.

he nodded, "You should leave." he muttered. "You are coming too!" Stone muttered. Dare looked at her eye wide. "Jax will find out!" She snapped.

she knew they had no clue what stone was yelling about she didn't either and she wanted to know more about him

"Jax?" Lina blinked before she looked at the scales again. She then looked up at Dare, eyes wide. Ryou blinked, confused.

Dare stood up. "Get packed and grab one of your horses!" She ordered. "There is no way in hell I'm letting you stay here!" She snapped going into the room. "But Stone-" he was interrupted. "Lina and Ryou get down stairs we will sleep at the next town!" she muttered.

"But Stone-sama!" Lina objected. "I know the truth now. It may have been in plain sight, but now I know that Dare has one of the four dragons!" She gasped before turning to him. "Did you steal it from Jax?!? I have to see it! Where did you find it?!?"

Stone looked at Dare who shock his head. "he doesn't have one of them!" She muttered as Dare packed. "now get downstairs we will tell you more later!" She spoke.
