YAY GIR!! and u quoted it wrong those were two different episodes.

it goes like this
Gir:but i need tacos!! i need them or i will explode!! that happens to me sometimes...

and then where he says he wanted to explosde is the episode with the evil baby ailens and then ZIM had to get rid of them using an amplifier and then plugged gir into the amplifier so it amplified his stupidness and it was so powerful that gir actually did almost explode and he said "aww i wanted to explode" yep i memorized that i memorized pretty much ever Gir line :D

Speaking from experience: when you hit high school, you're going to hate gym even more and you're going to love lockers...especially if you're taking honors classes (I'm taking 3 and I'm only a freshman...it sucks being smart somedays...). Lockers are friends. Not enemies, lolz.

I mean we're given a grade on how much we know...why do we have to be given a grade on physical activity? It's flipping overkill! Just like health classes! I mean who really wants to learn about all that gross stuff while they're in middle school? (I had to take it...all 3 years...*dies from remembering*.) High school I can understand, but middle school? Ugh...

Meh...schools are all technically the same. Government institutions of torture. I've been tortured so much I've finally been swayed to worshipping Shakespeare and Poe almost as much as i worship Gaara. (I amuse my English teacher with abused msiquotes of stuff from Shakespeare and/or Poe anytime we have to do creative writing crap. It's fun, lolz.)

Ahhhh, yes, books. Romance, mystery, action, adventure, (insert another topic here which I cannot think of)... I do like Adventure Romance books, but I can't find one that's good enough for me (yes, that's good enough for me.).

Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings are some of my favorite books.
I also Love Manga.

Oh Lord, books...what can I say about such fantastic creations that we have been blessed with? I love so many of them, and hate so few...

My favorite would have to be The Redemption of Althalus. It's kinda adventure/action/romance-y in a fantasy setting! Then again, that basically sums up Roger Zelazney's Amber Chronicles...I'd have to say Amber is my favorite series, followed closely by Narnia (Yes, I love Narnia and I admit it!).

But I have to say that I also read many different genres. Fantasy, self-help...gah, even a li'l romance! Mitch Albom still ranks high as one of my favorite authors (Y'know, the guy who wrote For One More Day? Spent a lot of time on Entertainment Weekly's fiction charts at #1?). And I love the Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants series, as weird as it may seem. I used to read a whole bunch of horse stories (Phantom Stallion series, Black Stallion series, Margurite Henry books...). And then, of course, Nancy Drew! Can't forget about her! And - I'll shut up now, XD.

Yes, as long as it has a solid story line, a nice (or not nice) setting, and good characters, I think any book can be good.

I hear that! And the ending...I read a book like, two years ago and I can barely remember anything about it. But I do know I hated the ending. The rest was awesome - I loved it. But then the ending...just - ewwww.

And it was a scary story too =(. Which brings me to a question. Anyone ever read anything by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes? (*L* I ask this to everyone...)

Sorry, doesn't ring a bell. But I know what you're sayin' when it comes to endings. I read a book series called Samuri Girl (can't recall the author), and it went into six books, all to end with a very very bad ending. Not a gory or romancey ending, just an open ending (an open ending is when they don't tie everything up, it's left with many possibilities). I hated it.

I personally like open endings. But I guess that's just my writer's soul talking...leaves many possibilities for fanfics.

Really, the only ending I don't like is when you've built up this awesome book and you expect some huge battle or showdown between the goods and the bads and then it just...ends. Not like a cliffy, just a crappy ending. Like, all of the bad guys spontaneously die or are undone just by this one piddly little act. Haunting (can't remember the author) is like that.
