I was watching this thing on the news and it was about this guy who abused his dog. now I can't see why he would get a dog just so he could abuse it. I can't see why anyone would want to abuse an animal at all. Animals shouldn't be abused

I think that abusing animals is awful!
I also read something in the newspaper about a guy who abused his dog and all he got was a caution and isn't allowed any pets for 5 years. That's stupid! If he had abused a person, he would have got a hell of a lot of a harsher punishment! But because it was 'just an animal', no-one seems to care!
I'm also totally against animal testing, I think it's wrong. If humans want to use products, they should have them tested on themselves. Animals are not the ones who are going to use the product, so whay should they have to suffer for it!

yea i mean why would you abuse a animal heck they are smarter than us well some of them are. Did you hear about the guy in Buffulo that put two little kittens in a hot pan with oil and then threw one againts a wall my mom and i were like OMG THAT IS ABSOLUTALY HORRIBLE!!! but they were ok with is good . why dont we just go and do that to those people and see how they like it.

I agree i hate animal testing it makes me so mad people don't seem to care about animals anymore.

i know i mean with out them we wouldnt have food i mean if you eat meat i dont notmuch anyway like chicken is ok but i mean we need animals and harming them is not what they were put on earth for

eating animals isn't so bad because if we didn't eat or kill them they would over populate and that wouldn't be a good thing now would it. but i heard that they cut down rain forest to make pastures for cows and thats just cruel>.<

Like when people say it's mean to test products on dogs, but they couldn't care less about rabbits.
It's really no different if you think about it, It's just because dogs are more commenly kept as pets.

Aminal abuse is one thing I can't stand.This lady that lives next door to me has this dog, he's really sweet and cute but he'd been abused before she got him and if he sees a new peron he runs away from them, or if he hears a something fall on the ground he runs, and when you try to pet him be backs away a little.I just don't get why people hurt animals.

If they want to take out their anger on someone/something, they'd do it to an animal because they can't fight back and there is hardly any punishment for the abuse of animals.

my dog was abused and left on the side of the road when we found him it was really sad to see him on the side of the road running from cars so my dad stopped and put him in the car.

No, I wasn't saying that that gives them the right to do that,
I'm totally against animal abuse and testing. I was just thinking of reasons as to why people would do that.

We found my dog as a puppy with 4 other puppies walking along the side of the road. We took them all in but we only kept one. We found homes for the rest.
