"Well. . ." She stoped. There would be no point in argueing with him. "You are right." She took another bite.

He smiled slightly, "Do you really believe me or are you just not interested in the argument?" He asked. Taking the spoon again to get himself some more ice cream.

She put her fist on her cheek and held the spoon out. "A little of both." She smiled back.

"Well, that's Ok then." He said, his own smile widening. "YOu know, Naruto, the one in the orange, tole me once that noone can be unhappy while eating ice cream." He commented, idilly.

"I guess he was right." She smiled back at him taking another ratherly large bite of ice cream.

"I didn't believe him at the time, now I guess I do." He said, taking the spoon once she was fineshed with it.

"Hey!" She took the spoon back. "That is mine." She stuvk her tounge at him.

"You just notticed, I've been using it the entire time." He said, laughing. He had some odd thoughts about her tounge, but kept them to himself.

She thought for a moment. "Yes. Actually I just did." She took another spoonful of ice cream.

HE laughed, "You handed it to me just a moment ago." He said, chuckling.

She thought a bit more. "I guess I did." She laughed a bit.

"You have a nice laugh, too." He said. Again the words came before he could stop himself, for the second time that day.

She pointed to him with the spoon. "You seem to have a habbit of doing that." She laughed taking some more ice cream.

"Among other things, I guess the truth just needed to get out." He said.

[TailsNyne]

"Technichly it is an opinion." She pointed out with the spoon.

[siriuslyconfused1]

"Well, in my mind as it is my opinion, it's the truth. Next time I'll blurt out, I think you have a nice, insert feature here, and then it will be the truth. If that will make you happy." He said, smiling.

She sighed and mumbled something under her breath. "You talk too much." She shoved ice cream into his mouth with the spoon.

He tried not to laugh with the icecream in his mouth. Instead he swalloewed slightly, and grinned, his mouth now shut with a 'fine then I just won't talk' expression on his face.

She stuck her tounge out at him. I must have had too much Ice cream. I haven't been this happy in. . . I've never been happy. She smiled at him widly.

"Oh no, I've just hit the bottem." Sasuke siad, frowning. He'd reached the bottem of the ice cream container.

"That was my last ice cream too." Blood sighed standing up. "We should get to bed any how." She smiled to him brightly.

"I supose." He replied. "Not sure if after all that sugar I'm going to sleep a wink though, I should be playing twister or somthing." He said, stretching his arms above his head.

"Me neither. Though I am not sure about twister." She quickly light a black fire on her finger tip and lit a ciggeret. "What do you suggest we do? Besides twister." She eyed him puffing.

"Er, well the twister thing was a joke. And HMMM, I don't know. I'm willing to bet you'd kick my butt in chess so I won't even suggest it, Um, I don't realy, know, what do you want to do?" He replied, glancing at the cigeret absent mindedly.

"I suggested we sleep, but we both know that will not be happing anytime soon with that much ice cream. The second best thing would be. . . Well I could give you a make over. . . and We could take a walk blindly around the village." Blood looked at him blankly.

"No walking blindly around this place, it's creepy enough durring the day. A makeover? Never would have pegged you as the type, eh, why not. I have nothing better to do." He said, shrugging.

"For one I was kidding and for two you are going anyways." Blood took his wrist and dragged him out the house and wandered into the streets.

He whined a bit, quietly but gave up after a few seconds. "This place is bad enough with the light, I don't know who's going to be jumping out from behind a bush trying to kill me!" He hissed.

"Fine." Blood dragged him back into the house. "I am going to at least try sleeping then." She flicked the ciggaret to one side and walked upstairs.

he stompped it out, before folowing. "Good night." He said. He would have added her name, but he wasn't really sure what it was, everyone called her Blood, but he assumed it was a knickname. Plus he didn't know which suffix to use, Sama, San, Chan, well not Chan, she probably wouldn't like that.

"Good night, Sasuke-kun." She slide the door closed behind her untill it clicked and locked.

((kun, he's a boy. Chan is for girls)) He was surprised. He proceded to the proper door and opened it. His mind swan with several hundreds of thoughts, all of them about the gril who had just presumably gone to bed. He opened the door and walked into the room. He quickly stripped down to his boxers and climbed between the sheets.

Blood crawled into her red silked sheets and put of the flame beside her. She yawned before letting her eyelids drop and fall asleep.

(('t's Ok, I just speek a tiny bit of Japenese and had to look them all up once.)) Sasuke himself fell asleep a few moments later, his earlier thoughts turning to dreams.

Blood found herself in a peacful sleep for once. Maybe he wasn't all bad after all.

Sasuke woke to a small bit of sunlight streaming through the heavy drapes. He got up and decided to take a shower before yesterdays threats and proding began.

Blood held a pillow over her head to block the sunlight. She grumbled and turned away from he window.

Sasuke wandered out into the hall, finding the bathroom in the same place it was yesterday (Well where else would it be?) and quickly turned on the shower.

Blood crawled out of bed, killed a singing bird, closed the blinds, and got back into bed. Again she mumbled to herself.

Sasuke climbed happily under the water, this time he'd had enough time to let it get hot. It soothed his aching muscles. He 'borowed' some sort of shampoo, hoping that it wouldn't do anything funny to his hair (Make it hang down, curl, or give it body, whatever that was) and quickly soaped himself up.

((Don't forget smelling like flowers, attracting dogs, and having shorter hair.))
Blood didn't bother getting out of bed. she was up most the night and didn't want to get up.

((LOL, yes, those too. In addition to smelling like dog.)) He continued his shower, the soap smelled funny, he hoped it hadn't been used on somthing weird (Cat, toilet, windows ECT).

Finaly, Blood left her bed and wandered into the bathroom. "Your time is up." She flushed the tolit. This was one of the many reasons she didn't have guest often. She didn't like sharing a bathroom let alone a shower.

He jumped out of the shower, naked, and a bit soapy, "What did you do that for? I thought you were still asleep." He said, in an affronted voice.

"One, No touch my sampoo. Two, I wake when I feel like it. And three, Get Some F*ckn' Clothes On Man!" She covered her eyes in disguist.

His facec turned tomato red, and beyond and he grabbed a towel quickly. He wrapped it around his waist as hastiyl as possible, his face heating more and more by the second. He looked quite ready to combust.

Blood rubbed her temples with her eyes closed. "I am going to pretend that never happened."

However he didn't hear her as he was far to busy fleeing from the bathroom. He made his way back to the spare room and his cloths as quickly as possible. He groaned, he'd left his boxers in the bath room, great. Now he'd have to go back in there. Just great.

Blood quickly turned the shower back on and unwrapped her bandaged arms and legs. They showed deep wounds and burises. It took a while for her to get them all off.

He walked back to the bathroom, still towel clad adn knocked on the door. No need for an opposite reapeat of a few minutes ago.

She opened the door a little and peeked out. "What now?" She asked a bit annoyed.

His face went red again, "I left my boxers in here." he said shortly. He looked at the carpet, trying to hide his red face.

Blood opened the door to let him in and hid behind it herself. "Well hurry up." She pointed to the floor where they lay. Then quickly too kher arm back realizing what she had done.

He starred at her form, and the spot where the arm had been, mouth agape. "What..." He said, trailing off. His boxers were completly forgotte. She had said her father was abusive, but this was more then expected.

"OUt." She screached a bit louder than she meant.

He quickly grabbed the earllier discarded shorts off of the floor and tore from the room. He made his way back into the other room and dressed in a flurry of far to many emotions to be naturel. He was sad, peeved, embarresed, and far to many other things to name all at once. He was also confused, when had all of life gotten so confusing? Her, it was her, Blood, the moment he had met her he had become confused, it appeared it was now a perminant condition.

Blood closed the door this time careful of the sound it made. Quickly she steped under the warm water. She had always liked water. He mother was actullay from the waterfall village and it soothed her out of thought and pain.

SAsuke sighed and walked down stairs, he sat on the couch. He lay back against the back of said couch kneeding his temples with his fingers. Why did life have to be so complicated?

Blood sighed and stepped out the shower. Slowly she wrapped her arms and legs once again in new bandages. Then quickly got dress and walked down stairs.

Sasuke heard the water go off, and the sounds of Blood moving around upstairs. He made no effort to get up however, continueing his kneeding and thinking.

A short distance off Nekura was allready at the training feilds. She was jotting somthing in a notbook however instead of training.

"Come on. We have to go." Blood moved toward the door in a slugish motion not bothering to look at him. She knew what was coming.

"Hi!" Naruto shouted happily to Nekura as she sat writing.

She was, of corse, right. He folowed her, he didn't know why, he really didn't want to, he didn't want anything to do with her, she was to confusing. He followed anyway, though. ((Hehe, I must sound like a cheesy romance novelist...))

Blood locked the door behind him and took toward the training grounds. "I would really have you ask now than later, so go ahead."

Naruto watched her silently. These girls still scared the crud out of him.

"I don't have any questions. You explained last night, I just didn't relise it was that bad." Sasuke said, quietly. He didn't care how he knew what she was talking about, had it been anyone else he wouldn't have. ((But his heart would allways beat for her LOL just kidding!)).

"You came here from the leaf village, with Uchiha, and two others, correct?" She asked. Her own outfit was simular to his today, it was laundry day she had nothing else, A hot pink soccer shirt, an Orange pair of basketball shorts, and yellow knee highs, all in blinding neon.

"Uh.. Yeah." He answered a bit unsure of where this was going.

Blood glided right past her father;s office mumbling as she went. "You all think the same."

"Huh?" Sasuke asked, "I, what do you meen?" He asked.

She nodded, "Well, you have a talented team mate, I'll give you that." She said. She wouldn't addmit it to Uchiha perhaps, but he was pretty good, for an outsider. "You as good?" She asked. She was looking for a sparring match anyway.

"I'm better!" He yelled.

"Nothing." Blood contuied walking toward the grounds.

"No one who yells like that could possibly be." She said. she was goading him, trying to make him angry. She wanted to spar, but she also just wanted to tick somone, anyone off.

"Allright." he said, he wanted to ask again, but he decieded against it.

"What do you mean?!" Naruto yelled forgetting about his fear of her.

Blood stopped and held her arm out to stop Sasuke. "Look." She smiled pointing to the two who seemed to be argueing.

"I will!" Naruto thought for a moment before realizing what he got himself into.

"I think he fleed out of the village, got lost, and came back. It happens all the time." Blood leaned against the tree to watch them. She hadn't see Naruto fight yet.

She smirked, "Exelent, Tell you what, you can even attack first." She said.

"Sounds like somthing the idiot would do." Sasuke replied.

"Well, we should stop them before the boy gets killed or the kuybbi's chakra is released. Then she dies." Blood sighed and walked forward to stop their fight.

"So, you know about that?" He asked, folowing. "Oh, Blood, Uchiha." Nekura said. "Hold your horses blondy." She added as Naruto looked ready to attack.

"Yeah. I do alot of reading." She shuffled forward toward the two. "You like ramen. No? Come on I'll pay." She sighed as red snowflakes fell from the sky. She didn't take the time to look up but turned to walk away with Naruto just ahead of her after the word 'Ramen.'

"aw, Blood you've ruined my fun." Nekura said, following as well. Sasuke was surprised, she'd known just which button to push.

"Your 'fun' might just leave you dead." Blood hissed though her mask. She pulled her robe over her shoulders to warm herself from the snow. "Are you coming or not?" Naruto stopped to yell back at them.

"I'm not stupid, I was going to be carfull." She said. "Just hold your horses blondy." She repeated to Naruto.

"You were getting in a fight with a. . ." she trailed off. It wasn't good to aggrivate a demon. "Nevermind." She muttered following Naruto.

Nekura glanced at Blood, then Naruto, where had she seen him before? Apart from earlier when he had arrived, had she seen him in a book? She read mostly fiction, though there was the ocasion when she'd read somthing else. Sasuke glanced at her, then Blood, then Naruto, he looked a bit like he was going to say somthing, but changed his mind.

Naruto, reconizing the sign, darted in and sat at a random table and immedently began to order. Blood sighed, removed her mask and sat across from him. She didn't order anything herself.

Sasuke ordered only water, Nekura had just eaten and also ordered nothing.

Blood's mouth dropped as she watched Naruto eat with an endless bottem. "He does not do that all the time. Does he?" She looked to Sasuke hopeing not. She could house that.

"He does." Sasuke replied. Nekura saw the look, "I know you don't have much space, Blood, if you'd like blondy can stay with me."She said. It wasn't a space issue, Blood just hated people, Nekura didn't really like them, but Blood was allready stuck with Uchiha.

"I am going to take you up on that offer." She turned to her but kept her eyes on Naruto. "I am going to go." She got up looking at Naruto with a funny glance before putting her mask on and looking at Sasuke to see if he was coming too. What she was really doing was skipping out on the bill for the bottemless boy.

"Oh no, you offered to pay, I'm not letting you skip out on this, I don't have enough money to afford this meal. I can cook for what appears is going to be sonthing like 10, I can't pay resteraunt prices." She'd known imediatly what Blood was doing. Sasuke had to admit it had been a good idea, Bloods that is.

Blood sighed. Quickly she dissappeared into the back of the shop. There was a loud crash and Blood came walking back out. Blood marked her face. "On the house." She turned to leave again looking to Sasuke to see if he would follow.

He stood and folowed, "Well, that's one way to get out of paying..." He said. Nekura laughed softly, "Oh my, allright, well, see you later, Blood." she said.

"I have many ways to get out of paying." Blood took down the street toward a building at the end. She needed to restock her supplies.

Blood walked into the empty shop and straight into the back. "Good day, Blood." A young man gretted her as she sat on a table.

Naruto took in the rest of the bowl of noddles. "Yep." As another bowl appeared infront of him he emember Kakashi's words. He pushed the bowl away and sighed.

Sasuke looked curiose, but he remained silent.

The young man dissappeared father back and then appeared again with a black bag. He looked toward Sasuke. "This your boyfriend?" He snickered. "Don't push it." Blood hissed at him.

Naruto sighed again. "No."

Sasuke glanced at what the man was carrying curiosly. He wondered what might be in the bag.

"Oh? Then why'd you stop?" She asked, not that she minded, she was just curiose.

"Right." His smile dissappeared as he pulled a needle out of a drawer and turned to Blood.

"Because, I'll turn into a noodle." He whimed.

Sasuke continued watching, interested.

"How old are you?" She asked. Somone must have told him that if he ate to much ramen he'd become a noodle, but what kind of teenager was that gullible?

The boy looked to Sasuke angerly. "Shoo." He pushed him back out. Blood looked to the two. "Idiots." She muttered. "Could you hurry?"

Sasuke glared and did not allow himself to be pushed. "No." He said firmly.

"No reason. You're right, you should stop before you become a noodle." She said. "Well, you might as well follow me, I'm headed back to the training feild." She said, standing up.

"Out." He repeated glancing back at Blood. Even he knew it wasn't best to leave her waiting.

"Okay." He perked up and followed.

"No." He repeated.

Nekura strode from the resturaunt, towords the training feild, still trying to remeber where she would have read about him.

"Leave him." Blood snapped. The man left Sasuke where he stood and stood infront of Blood. Quickly he shoved the needle into her arm.

Sasuke watched, what was going on?

"Hm? Oh, nothing." She said.

Blood was still unfazed by the needle.

"Oh." He looked a bit dissappointed.

Sasuke still watched curiosly.

"Why?" She asked.

Seconds later he removed the needle with an empty bag. "You're good to go." He smiled at her. "Thanks." She muttered rubbing her wrist.

Sasuke was silent, he would ask once they were out of the building.

"Why did you want to know?" She clarifyed.

Blood pulled herself off the table and walked back into the front room. She picked up a box off the conter and walked out.

"I don't know." He scratched his nose.

Sasuke quickly folowed behind, waiting untill they were a relativly good distance away before asking, "What was that place?" He asked.

She sighed slightly, "Here we are." She said.

"Weapons." She answere plainly.

Naruto said nothing more but just followed her.

"And the needle?" He asked.

"Come on, let's spar." She said, she wasn't going to let things get to dangorouse, Blood had stopped them earlier, that would meen she'd just have to stop it before it got dangorouse.

"Blood." She answered in the same tone as before. She scurried down the path toward the market.

"Will that creepy girl stop us again?" He asked hopeful.

"OH." He replied understanding.

"She isn't here at the moment, don't worry, I won't kill you, yet." She said.

Quickly she bought another gallon or two of ice cream, they finished the last, and hurried home.

He gulped, "Yet?" He asked fearfully.

"So..." Sasuke said, trying to start a conversation, tired with the slightly akward silence.

"Yet." She repeated.

"So what?" Blood raised a brow at him enter her house.

He gulped again. "Don't kill me!" He pleded getting in his stance.

"I don't know..." He said.

"As I said, I won't, yet." She dropped into a stance of her own, smiling, with that kind of stance this would take about ten seconds.

Blood also was uneased by the akward silance. "So, Uchiha, share ice cream with me again?" She scurried into th kitchen lighting a candle.

He did the most idiotic thing that anyone would do. . . 'Shadow clones' -.-

"Sure." He said, smiling,

"Oh for the love of..." She liked clones, but there had to be a plan behind them, you had to use them as a distraction, not just randomly. She pulled a few shurican and easily took out all of them.

"I'll be back then." She smiled back dissappearing upstairs. Unlike most people she didn't dree conforably and had to change when she wasn't out.

"Clones should be acompanied by a well thought out plan. Or used as a distraction, put your feet a little further apart, you're leaving youself way to open to this." She said, sweping his feet from beneith him with one of her own.

Naruto landed on his butt. "Well you didn't haveto show me." He complained taking his time to get up.

Blood was sure to wrap her arms completely after this mornings accident. She walked back downstairs and into the kitchen, smiling.

"Ah, but it will help you learn your leason faster." She said. "See, you'r feet should be placed more like this." She demonstarted.

"Well. I've done alot of reading on you." She began taking a bit out of the container. "Yet I have many questions. Like for instance: The Sharingan can copy moves and predict them but can it predict them if the user has no chakra left?"

"Right." He stood in the exact stance.

He looked thoughtfull, "To an extent." HE replied.

"Now, why on earth do you hold your arms like that? It leaves you wide open to this." She got him in the stomich. "Or this." In the chest before he even got a chance to double over.

She opened her mouth to ask another but thought twice about it then asked a different question: "Do youl like me?" She felt a bit akward asking it.

Naruto lay on the ground in pain. "Right." He stood back up and tried covering up a bit.

He looked suprised, "Yes." He replied. "No idea why, but yes."

"Good, but now, you're leaving somthing else open, take a gander at what it is." She said.

Blood wasn't convinced by the answer she was given but left him alone. She took another bite.

Naruto looked a bit confused. "What?"

"You'r head." She said, hitting him in said body part with the side of her hand.

"No." She answered smiling.

"Ow." He hit her back. Then covered his head.

She blinked but did not respond at first. "You need to protect what's important, stomich, chest, head." She listed.

"How can I convince you?" He asked.

"Why can't I just attack with the clones? It's easier." He whined.

"I don't need convincing." She looked at him blankly.

"If they didn't work the first time, what makes you think they'll work this time?" She asked.

"Because, you don't believe me, I'm telling the truth, I want you to believe it." He replied, shrugging.

"I worked harder the second time." He answered stupidily.

"Don't worry about." Blood shrudged shoving ic cream into his mouth for the second time.

He allmost sprayed the table by laughing, but didn't. "You know, that could become annoying." He grinned.

"No. You should try your best the first time, if you can try harder, then the first time you didn't try like you should have." She said. "You need to think about things before you act." She sad.

"So. It's fun." She laughed at him putting ice cream into her own mouth.

Naruto grumbled to himself but did as he was told and tryed again.

She smiled, going for a different tactic, and crushed one of his feet with her own.

He laughed himself, "So should I keep talking if I want more iccream then?" He asked.

She looked at him oddly. "If you wanted more ice cream you should of said so." She shoved yet another spoonful into his mouth.

Blood gave him an odd look. "That's scary." She licked the back of the spoon bending it a bit.

It was hard for her not to laugh at the question. "I scare the living day lights out of my own father. And you're asking me about a boyfriend?" She tried to contain her laughter.

Um. . . Well, I need to take a shower." Blood made up a quick excuss to leave. She'd never told anyone, ANYONE, she liked the.

He took in another breath. "Substitution Jutsu: Tiger, Boar, Ox, Snake." Suddenly a log appeared.

"No problem." He muttered to himself as she'd allready vanished up the stairs. He took a few more bite's before closing it and returning it to the freezer.

"Your hiding place is to obviouse, I can hear you over there." She said, glancing to the bush where he was hiding.

She slowly removed her bandages being careful of her wounds and burises.

"That wasn't the point." He complained standing from where he sat.

"I know, I'm pointing out for future referance. Allright, it's starting to get near sunset, come with me." She said. She was heading home, glancing back to see if he was folowing. SHe was hungry, and had come up with an idea for helping him with his stratigy, why she was helping him she wasn't sure, she told herself it was just because she wanted a challange though.

Sasuke sat on the couch, wishing he could pick up one of the books sitting there, but heeding the warning of don't touch anything.

Blood got out half an hour later and wandered into the hallway to her room.

((GTG bye)) She got back to her appartment, pulled out the key and opened the door, "It's not much, and it's messy, but it's home." She said. The hous was bright, cluttered with laudry baskets, piles of papers littered the floor. The hall was painted bright red, the living room, which could be seen through a doorway, was yellow, cheery and held some mismatched furnature.

As she was doing so, Sasuke was in the same hall, on his way to the room he was staying in.

Blood hummed lightly to her self as she cleaned her ears. Not taking the time to notice Sasuke she fiddled with the door, but ti wouldn't budge. "Damn door." She gripped with with both hands to pull open and her towel fell. . .

"Ah!"Sasuke said, turning away quickly, blushing.

"That, is minorly disturbing." She said, continuing through the house. "Dinner?" She asked. The kitchen was a sbright as the rest of the house, Lime green, though the small asortment of cabinents had mismatched doors, as if somone had replaced them one at a time when they had broken. The table had one clear space, the rest was piled with papers, note books, pens and penciles. Her bills where spread on one end, it looked as if she had been frustarted with them and tossed a good deal to the floor.

Blood stoped to look. She tried to hold in a scream and rushed back into the bathroom being unable to open the bedroom door.

"Sure." Naruto answered scoping the house with intrest.

Sasuke bolted back into his own room, stemming a perfuse nosebleed of unknown origens.

She began fryng off some chop meat in a pan.

Blood sat on the floor against the door. "Holy S. . ." Her voice trailed off. "I've really got to watch what I do." Quickly she poked her head out to make sure the hallway was clear.

"So," Naruto poked over her shoulder. "What are you making?"

"Wow, I need to be more carfull." Sasuke muttered.

"I call it, tator to casseroll." SHe said. She pulled out a can of crem of celery soup as the meat fryed.

Once she was sure the hallway was empty she scurried back to her door and tried her luck at opening the door, again. -.-

"It won't make me turn green. Will it?" Naruto asked not really sure if he was happy with what he saw. Or the name of what it was.

((Heh, it happens to be a fovorite recipy on mine, only thing I can really make, apart from meat loaf.)) "No, it won't turn you green. It's good, it sounds weird but you'll like it. Grab the big red bag of tator tots from the freezer would you?" She asked, gestuing to the freezer.

Blood jumped alittle and blushed. "Just alittle." She looked away.

"Right." Naruto pulled a red bag out of the frezzer and handed it to her.

((sounds gross...)) Sasuke walked over, he jiggled the knob a few times, then kicked the door, it swumg open.

"Thank you." SHe said. She poured the meat, and soup, into a caseroll dish and began lading the tator tots on top in a spiral pattern ((A must with taotr to caserol)) she then popped it in the oven. "It'll only tak about half an hour, in the meen time, do you play chess?" SHe asked. SHe had never liked shoji, prefering chess.

Blood walked down not very long later. Since they were going to spend the rest of the day at home she put on a smile gown.

"It's. . . um. . . okay." BLood sat on the couch by the window. She cracked it a bit and lit a ciggret.

"Okay." Naruto wasn't too happy to have to learn to play chess. Although he was too scared to tell her other wise.

Nekura pulled a chess bored out froom under a pile of laundrey, is was old, it stood on four legs, like a coffe table, and had small drawers under it that heald the peices. "The one thing I try to keep in one peice." She said. She sat on the floor on one side, gesturing for him to do the same.

"I know." Blood answered simply. She didn't dare look at him but kept her eyes looking out the window.

"Okay." Naruto set them in a row in the front.

"Good, now the queen allways gets her color, so white queen on a whit square, black on a lback sqaure, she also goes in the middle, here." Nekura explained.

Naruto tried to follow her, copying her moves.

"I don't know." Blood sighed again putting out the ciggeret and flinging it out side.

"Oh. Right." Naruto paniced a little and changed it.

"Great. Now I have to woryy about you killing me tomarrow night." Naruto sighed.

Blood sighed and carried out a box of cookies. Unlike most people would think her house was filled with confrot food.

Blood was tired of him talking. Sh shoved a few cookies in his mouth before sitting next to him and eatting one herself.

Blood shifted in her seat uneasily. Quickly she took another cookie.

"You . ." Before she could finish there was a knock at the door. Blood sighed and stood up. "Yes?" She asked the small frightened boy. "Your father wants to see you." He stuttered. Blood sighed and followed him out.

Naruto looked at the board a bit longer before jumping and following her.

She pulled the dish from the oven, not bothering with pot holders for obvious reasons, and set it on the table. The pulled of forks, and plates. "Here you are." She said, serving up a bit.

Black looked at Sasuke with a threatening glare then turned to her and began to say something in an unknown laungage. She snarrled and returned in the same.

"But beofre I do eat I want to make sure it won't turn me green." Naruto kidded and took a small bite.

"It won't. Blue, maybe, but not green." She said, with a completly straight face.

She growled a bit as Black stood from his seat at the desk. Again he began to speak to her but this time in a teasing voice.

Naruto stopped and spit it out. "What do you mean, Blue?"

Sasuke watched, wondering what was going on.

Black snorted a bit and she calmed down. Again she spoke this time understandable. "And maybe not." She laughed.

"You know he doesn't." Black snarled at her angerly. His eyes darted to Sasuke and back.

Naruto looked at her. "You don't expect me to eat this now. Do you?"

Sasuke remained, standin confusedly, wishing someone would explain.

"It won't turn you any color, my lord, you're gulible, I was just making fun of you." Nekura laughed.

"Like you know." She snapped back. "I'm trying to protect you." Black argued. She looked taken aback. Then went into blazing rage. "Protect me! Protect me!" Her Yukigon activated suddenly as did Black's.

"I'm still not eating that." Naruto wasn't convinced.

SAsuke stepped back, this was bad.

"I'm eating it, and I wouldn't eat anything that could turn me blue." She said, taking a bite.

Black took toward her quickly. She barely dodged and took an aim at his back. He took her wrist and forced it behind her.
He shoved her face first into the wall.

Naruto watched for a moment before he took a bit himself.

Sasuke wanted to call out, to stop him somhow, but he couldn't make himself move, he stood frozen, unable to do anything.

She continued eating her own, smiling a bit when he finnaly took a bite.

She growled angerly struggling under his weight. "Get off." She yelled at him angerily.

"This is good." Naruto mumbled with a mouth full.

Sasuke suddenly found his mouth moving, through no violation of his own, "Let her go." He didn't remember trying to yell, he just had.

"Glad you like it. " She said, smiling a bit.

Black turned to him. He laughed and said something again unknown. She yelled at him angerly in respons.

"More?" He asked holding his empty plate to her.

Sasuke relised his houting had done no good, he didn't really know what else to do, Blood kicked his butt thourghly enough, what kind of damage could her father do?

"Sure." She said serving him up some more. She got herself some as well. "After such a large lunch I'm surprised you have room for seconds of this." She said.

Black ran his fingers through her hair and gripped it tightly. He rammed her head into the wall over and over again causing blood to spill out the corner of her mouth. She let out a gasp of pain.

"I'm a bottemless pit, Kakashi sensei says." Naruto smiled.

"Stop!" Sasuke yelled, again his body took over, simular to the time he had saved Naruto from Haku. He just ran at the man, no plan, just running kunie in hand, though he didn't remember drawing it.

Black held Blood in one hand and Sasuke's wrist in the other causing him to point the kunai to himself.

Well, that was about as efective as he'd expected.

"Leave him alone." She screamed trying to free herself from his grip with not much success. No matter how much she tried to twist and turn it hurt her head. His grip was too tight.

Naruto thought for a moment. He was completely lost. "Can I have more?" He asked unable to understand what had happened.

Sasuke too, was trying to twist out of his grip. HE went at him with the other hand, if nothing else he'd have to let go of her.

"Oh, sure." She said, dishing him up some. "I'm sorry, I thought I'd just given you more..." She said, scratching her head.

Black took his foot and shoved Sasuke back putting space between them. While he did so Blood got from his grip. Quickly she grabbed Sasuke by his wrist and hurried out.

Sasuke ran, for once keeping up with her.

"Oh." She said, watching him eat in a sort of bizzar fasination. "Wow, I've never seen anyone eat quite like that..." She said.

She slowed as she came to the training grounds. Quickly she took to the pond once again wiping her face clean. She doesn't really do this to clean her face, but to hide the tears.

Naruto held the bowl to her once again for more. "Any left?"

He stared at her, was she... crying? No it must be his immagination. No way, her shoulders weren't shaking, not even a little bit, he was immagining it, he must be.

"You're lucky I usualy cook for the entire week in one batch, there wouldn't be enough." She said, shaking her head and giving him some more.

She stood up and faced him with a straight face. "Come on." She said softly. She felt bad that he had to witness that.

Naruto smiled and vacummed up the next bowl.

He nodded, folowing. It seemed he was doing that alot latly. So he moved up, to walk beside her instead. "You okay?" He asked.

"Allright, well that's the last of it." She said, watching him vaccume up the finale bowl.

"You ask that alot." She tried to laugh but came out in tears instead.

"I'm full." Naruto leaned back in the chair.

He found himself moving for the third time that day without thinking, and gently put his arm around her shoulders, carfull not to put to much pressure in case she was hurt.

"Well, there's a shock." Nekura said.

Blood wiped her tears away quickly. "I'm sorry. You shouldn't have been anywhere near his office." She mumbled moving a bit closer to him.

Naruto smiled. "Can we finish playing chess?" He asked a bit eger.

"It's not your fault, I asked to come." He replied, tightening his grip a bit.

"Sure, just let me clean up first." She replied.

"But still. . ." She muttered. She felt really bad about it. He shouldn't have to deal with her proublms.

"I'll help." Naruto offered after the many hepings of food he was up to anything.

"Thanks." Blood mumbled to him softly. She contuied to walk toward her house after she saw the odd looks from the masked people.

Naruto got up and began to clean the dishes.

Sasuke glared at the people giving them odd looks, though he understood it had somthing to do with the fact that Blood was well known as brutal and not well liked, and here he was with his arm around her.

She helped, drying. "Thank you for the help." She said.

Blood opened the nlocked door and scurried in closing the door behind them. She sighed and sat on the couch where the cookies still lay.

"Allright, that done we can get back to our game." She said.

"Good." He said. He walked into the kitchen, grabbed the iccream and a spoon, and wlalked back into the room. "Here." He handed it all to her.

Blood took a bite out of the container. She sighed dipping a cookie into it.

"Right." Naruto played his move.

He smiled slightly at her, taking a cookie of his own and dipping it in the icecream as well.

"See, chess is all about stratigy, just like a battle." Nekura explained, taking Naruto's queen.

She smiled weakly. "Thank you." She mumbled.

"I know." Naruto smiled. "Check and Mate." He smiled.

"Hm, you beat me, not bad." She said. Let's be honest, she was paying no attention to what she was doing, but it was still pretty rare for somone to beat her. "So you do have a brain hidden under all of that yellow fuzz, huh?"
