Those are nice.
But if you move them to the creative corner, I bet they'd get more opinions. ;)

(this is for the bottom pic) looks good but u need to make ur hair more like anime, like ur top picture. make the highlights all swiggled, not in a straight line, make the nose and mouth a little bit bigger, and where is the ears? i should be able to see some of the ear, or if u dont want to make ears then create more hair. but its really good for a beging! ive spent 12 years drawing, and in the middle of that 12 years i lost my right arm(its still on my body, i just cant use my right hand) and had to draw w/ my left.

Yeah, the bottom one was one of the first 'Decent' pics that i've done. That was about a month ago I think.

It's a shame about your arm though :( That must've been a big problem for you

I agree with RG, these should go in the 'Creative' section. (Thus I will move it there....)
Other than that, they are good, the red-haired girl looks like she has some hair missing from the back, but other than that she is fine.
The first one (the neko) I would have liked to see colored. Have you ever thought about coloring in Photoshop? Or Open Canvas?

Gots a new one.

Kouta - Elfen Lied

I darkened the pic a little so that the pencil lines show up better. What's the verdict?

Hmm.... oo..kkk....
1. The eyes
2. The viewing angle. Not same as the face.
3. Empty foreground.
4. Try to use lineless paper. That lines really spoils the drawing.

I just have a question: The first and last drawings- are they form your head? Or were they a picture that you (for a lack of a better word) copied?

They are still good by the way.

Yeah, the first and last pics were copied, but I used the original picture to guide me. It was on screen and I kept glancing up andtaking in the detail, then applied it to the pictures.

I thought so. It's a good way to learn. I used to do that all the time. Another good thing to do is trace comic books to learn perspective.
