Another dream, the same one, night after night
Is my subconscious trying to tell me something?
Each time I close my eyes, my mind takes flight
To a place steeped in mysticism and magic, to a place it seems like I forever wanted to cling
I see myself, in a role of royalty, everyone respected me
There are countless numbers of servants, to see to my every need
A place I was happy and gay, where I was full of glee
A queen I think, beside me, a man, trying to see to my every need.
I sometimes see myself, in some sort of temple
A royal court with me, as all of us worship, a certain God
I am aware my soul being fed by the God, until I'm full
Being portrayed as this does seem frightfully odd.
In my entire life today, I have done nothing as significant, as to what I dream
A member of royalty, I feel the honor and majesty, I must fulfil
In the temple, I can see the sun, rising in the east, on my face I feel the warm beams
The place I am in, I can see it was built by people of great skill.
After the temple, I see myself in a long procession
People cheering me on as I go by
The temple was that of Rah, Egyptian God of the sun
Now all my questions are answered as to why.
Why I love the mythology of ancient Egypt so
A past life, this I know, this is how it was at that time
My obsession, is now very clear to me
Between time and space, it does not exist, the matter of time.
Is my subconscious trying to tell me something?
Each time I close my eyes, my mind takes flight
To a place steeped in mysticism and magic, to a place it seems like I forever wanted to cling
I see myself, in a role of royalty, everyone respected me
