Rhea woke up and looked around. She got up and walked around the tree, seeing if anyone would notice her movement. Then she started wandering away, slowly, until she couldn't hear them anymore. A few tears fell down her face.

Pheo's cuts and Black eye testified there had been a fight here, one that had her still scared, especially when she looked to a blackened area on the ground.

"I'm fine.' she said it a bit too quickly. " I think she wants to talk to us" she said quietly, pointing to the silent lady.

AI was a bit blinded by her heat and made a motion with her hand to lower it a bit.
"Sorry!" Pheo closed her eyes and forced herself to relax. She noticed the Laura lady went away.
It dimmed, to perceptable, but not enough to hurt.

Ai nodded and traced her finger into the dirt hoping to leave a trail of frost saying 'My name is AI.' It partly worked. She just hoped Pheo could read it.
"AI?" Pheo smiled. "Nice to meet you."
Her glow dimmed- she wasn't so scared, when she knew peoples names. But it woulden't go away- she was scared of a blackspace nearby.
"I'm sorry, by the way." She said, looking sheepish.

Pheo smiled at her. "come meet the others. You can write there, too." She said.
She was friendly, for all she was scared.

AI slowly got up and dusted herself off. She looked around quickly before turning to her.
Pheo smiled, taking Ai's hand, as though to make sure she didn't et lost, then led her towards the two still people. A shorter y was through a strangely black area on the ground, but Pheo started glowing the closer they got, so she went around, so that she didn't hurt her new friend.

Milai looked up when she saw something glowing and she soon figured out what it was. She hid behind Koji when she saw someone else with Pheo.

AI let her carry her along only poking her head around cautionly every once in a while to make sure any other people weren't as close.
"Guys?" She asked, making sure they wern't mad as her glow faded to barely visible again.
"This is AI. Ai, this is Koji and Miali." Pheo said, pointing to each one. She was holding to AI's hand to reassure her, she had seen how scared she was, seemingly.

Milai peeked over Koji's shoulder and gave a small wave as well before hiding again.
Pheo blinked. "Why are you hiding, Milai?" She asked. The Ai girl needed time to figger out they woulden't hurt her.
She ahden't noticed the other girl had slipped away.

Milai whispered something and Koji lifted an eyebrow.
"What now?"
She repeated it and Koji looked at Pheo, blinking.
"She says she shy...meeting new people scare her."
Pheo blinked.
"Don't be scared! Why would anyone want to hurt you? You're pretty. And you're nice."

"She says no she's not to both of them."
Pheo blinked. She was short, compared to them, so she looked up puzzeledly.
"Yes you are. You're prettier than anyone else here! And you are too nice!" She stomped her foot.
She believed it was true, and that wasn't her optomism talking.

Milai only looked at her with her emerald eyes and shook her head, not believing her.
"She's right you know." Koji looked over his shoulder at Milai.
She shook her head again.
Pheo got an idea. She whistled and the Pheonix came ovr. It briefly landed on her, then landed on the Milai. "Are too. See? She likes you!"

She gave him a look; she was still shy.
Pheo blinked.
"Well, let's explore. We need to find water soon." she said, bouncing a bit. "And I know that I don't fight good..."

Pheo grinned, Bouncing a litle bit. "Lets go then!" She said. She was mature, you could see- but she was also an exuberant person. She trusted -and loved- completely.
An innocent, despite what she had gone through before.

Pheo looked around. "Huh? Who's hyper?" She asked him, looking around, black eye trying to see.
"Oh, me?" she asked AI. She then shrugged, walking randomly in a direction, towards where she saw a large rocky outcropping.

Koji and Milai followed, Koji whistling a light tune. Milai still stayed behind him, clutching his arm tightly.
The pheonix was trying to calm her down, by grooming her.
Pheo lit the way, humming. When they reached it, she started to climb.

Milai let go of Koji's arm some, and petted the pheonix again. She had taken a liking to it.
It was alot like Pheo, sweet and a bit goofy- it nuzzled ehr hand!
Pheo made it to the top. "There's water!" She cried. "C'mon up you guys!" She grinned at them.

Milai smiled at the pheonix before climbing up along with Koji.
The water was dirty.
It's awful dirty.. if we could boil it... I can! Pheo thought. She knelt, and let the fire that was in her go out through her hands.

"Boiling the water..." Milai answered for her in her quiet voice.
It began to bubble as the dirty stuff began to vanish.
Phao was glowing but not like she was scared. This was simply an aura of power.
It was alot of water, after all.

Milai rolled her eyes, looking down at her feet.
It was clean.
Pheo rocked back on her heels, suddenly tierd. Doing that had made her sleepy.
The water cooled slowly.
The pheonix moved to her shoulder, sharing some energy with her.
"All clean." She said.
She looked paler.

It tasted good, clean, and pure- not flat like boiled water, but like fresh springwater.
Pheo stood up, streching, She took a step and tripped, falling off the large hilish thing, yelping.
But she didn't fall- she floated.
((They found water, Pheo cleaned it. and she told them to drink some.))

She looked startled, and her glow was enough to see by again.

AI bent her head to one side. She didn't really enjoy anyone touching her, yet alone a bird, but she went with it. Trying to make friends makes a lot of sacrifices.

The bird was trying to talk to her.

She looked older now, like she was actualy 18. Like she was inside.

Koji and Milai stayed up, just like they said they would; though Milai wouldn't sleep anyway. The dreams playing in her head kept her up.
Don't go! It's me! The Bird!!!!!!! The voice said.
Pheo was dreaming of the guy who had attacked her, of what he had done, and why he had wanted to kill her.

Koji noticed that Pheo was glowing...and that both she and Milai were twitching.
"Hey, what's wrong Milai? Why are both of you twitching?"
"She's dreaming..." came her reply.
Will you come back!!!! I can't leave my charge and I need to talk to you!
Pheo's dream ended, but it had scared her.
That was the only dream she had.

Milai's eyes had closed and she shoved the dream to the back of both hers and Pheo's minds. In its place, she sent another dream this one not scary at all. While she did this, she didn't notice the aura she was giving off.
"Milai?"
She opened an eye and looked at Koji. "What?"
"What are you doing?"
"Controlling a dream..."
Pheo relaxed- the glow faded, leaving only starlight.

The pheonix replied wth a giggle, landing on Pheo's shoulder.
It was on her black eye side, so she looked to see what it was.
"Lets go back I guess.." She said, she liked it here though.

Shes probably the most unlikely person you could meet, she has a crush on Koji, She used to be a country singer named dreamer, she controls fire, and can heal other people. And she can fly. And she is the only person who had fire left on this earth.Her nickname is Pheo. It said. And I'm a pheonix.

AI took in the imformation. I couldn't really care less of what you are. She concluded giving Phoe an odd look.

Milai and Koji were talking quietly. No one knew what they were talking about but Koji lifted a piece of Milai's hair, making her give him a look. He chuckled about something and she whispered something else to him, something that made his cheeks turn a slight pink. That made her giggle.

Milai and Koji looked over at Pheo, both lifting an eyebrow. Milai's emerald eyes blinked and Koji's oynx eyes stared at Pheo with a slightly confused look.

Ai stopped. It's a town? Ruined, but a town non the less. Ai looked up at the dust arising from it. That's must of been what I saw.

Pheo went on ahead, not realizing the danger.
So when she doubled over, coughign from the poison gas, fire surrounded her.

Ai grabbed her quickly by the waist and flung her from the gas with a jerk. Without relizing it she let go from the aching burns on either arm.
Pheo's fire vanished, as did the flames- and the burns. HEr power coulden't hurt the good, apparently.
She was coughing hard as her body drove the poison out of her body.

Ai looked at her in a worried look. You'll be okay. She bent down next to her placing a hand on her shoulder.
What was strange was pheo heard her. "I hope so." She muttered, having finished coughing. She was out of breath and worked to talk right.

Ai looked slightly surpised. Isn't that new. She smiled widly.
"What new?" Pheo asked, managing to get her breath back.
The dust was still burning, but the wind shifted, blowing towards them
"No!" She snapped, pushing fire at it, to form a wall.

Ai beat her to it and formed ice infront of them. The fact that I can't speak yet you hear my evey word. She laughed lightly.

Rhea continued to wander, weaving through the trees, smelling the sweet nature air.
Pheo's fire wall was there, filling in the weaker spots- a bit like a backup.
It didn't melt the ice.
"That is strange.. but.. This entire place is."
KAo was behind Rhea. He actually tripped, and landed with an OOF!

Rhea turned and gasped. It was just Kao. He had fallen. She went up to him and helped him up. "Are you alright? Silly boy."

Kao took her hand. "Where you going?"
Pheon nodded. "Thats good.."
the dust was thinning out, it was vanishing actually.

She turned to face him. "Out there. Somewhere. I don't really know." She thought of her family. Maybe, a very small maybe, they were out there. She looked at her hand in his and blushed again.
The dust was gone now, and pheos fire dropped.
Kao smiled. "I'll help."

Pheo looked a the dustless town. "It looks safe. Let's look around- there might be food or something.

the pheonix landed on her shoulder, and she held fire in one hand, lighting the way for them.
She was glowing again, but struggling to keep it down.

I don't need to be carried. I"m not some dog. Ai gave her a nasty glare. She didn't like comments or suggestion like that. It made her seem weak. She was anything but weak.
Pheo winced.
"If you're sleepy, you need to sleep. That isn't weak, it's normal."

Ai mumbled a bit to herself unspoken words. Unlike most people she could combine different words from different laungages to get peace and privancy in her own thoughts.
"Waht did you say?" Pheo asked innocently as they reached the town square wti a strange house in the middle.
With a poster on it.
With a girl on it.
Who looked alot like Pheo.
Down to the innocent look in her eyes.

Ai scanned the paper over and over before tearing it down and scanning it again.
It was a concert poster, advertising a show.
The artist was not mentioned. Pheo hadn't seen it, and waited for AI to finish it before she lookeda t it.
She didn't realize it was one of her posters, from before.

Ai read and reread it before tossing it aside. Let's go.
"Thanks." Rhea kept walking. She turned to Kao and asked, "So, do you remember anything?"
"From before? Not really. All I remember is my job. I worked as a backup singer for a redhead kid- sh elooked alot like Pheo."
Pheo saw the poster and blushed so hard that her hair seemed to pale in comparison.

Ai sighed and wandered into the ruined town. She kicked a few rocks over with the tip of her toe to see what was under neath.
Pheo relaxed, but her glow didn't/
There was a huge building, and Pheo sighed. "Tehre is food in there.." She said softly, pointing to it.
Rhea said, "Really? Your life sounds better than mine was."

Pheo sighed. "The others might be- we ought to take food back to the group, too."

Ai shrugged. She contuied down the path running her finger over every part.
Rhea turned to him with a -you must be messing with me- look. "Frogs? What's wrong with frogs?" She saw a town ahead, with cobblestone streets. Old fashioned. She liked it already.

Pheo sighed.
The bird looked annoyed and perched on Ai's shoulder.
Pretty please? it asked her.
"She stuck one down my underwear. And it bit me. No teeth, but still..." He shuddered.
"Hey, look!" He pointed, you could see Pheo's glow, and she was with the 'silent lady'

Rhea bit her lip to keep from laughing. She cleared her throat. "Sorry. That's just. . . different." She looked around the town and said, "Let's try that door."

It gigled, and returned to Pheo.
It was laughing at her.
Hysterically.
He smiled.
"Lets go!" He tugged Rena towards the other group.

She followed him over to Pheo and AI. The bird was laughing. Rhea smiled. She'd never heard a bird laugh before.

Next time bird. Ai gave it a cold glare before turning to see the two coming towards them. Well if it isn't Sir ask-stupid-questions-alot. Ai rolled her eyes and took down the path.
Pheo yelped and tripped.
She said something that seemed impossible to come out of her mouth, it was a curse that invoved alot of meanness.
The bird looked shocked.
"Okay.." Kao said, hiding.
"Ho there group!" he called

"FROGGY!" Pheo yelped, jumpingo n Kao.
Kao yelped, falling over.

Ai's ears twitched as she backed away with great speed. Way, too close. She let out a low growl and went back to examining the wood.
Rhea shrugged. "Oh, well." She went outside and started looking at the cute, deserted town.
Pheo's stomach growled, making her blush.
Kao rolled his eyes.
He hugged Rhea. "Save me.." He said.
Pheo took AIs wrist. "Can we please go get food?" She asked the other girl.

Ai muttered something unspeakable and growled at the bird.
From what? she wondered when Kao hugged her. She was still thinking when she was grabbed and hauled off. She looked around and asked Kao, "Where are we going?"
"Pheo has decided we all need to eat... And protect me from her, she scares me."
She smiled. "KK." She got a confused look on her face and said, "But do they have food for us?"

Ai trailed behind the group taking her time to look at the carvings carefully to come back and look at them later.
Pheo grabbed her again.
She may be tiny, but she was stubborn too.
Kao sighed. "Dpn't ask me,a sk her..."
She marched them in, looking grumpier than ever.
Rhea turned to Pheo and said, "Do they have blood? Cause if they don't, I'm going back in the forest to find something."
"Yeah.. we had- I mean, the band that it said was supposed to be there was reknown for having some odd stage hands."
Rhea looked at Pheo and said, "Are we almost there? I'm starving now that everyone brought up this subject."

Ai followed picking up her pace and dropping it every so often.
Pheo hummed aimlessly as she led them expertly through corriders to a room.
On one wall was blood, enough blood to keep them supplied.
The other had food.
She smiled, taking a chocolate bar.
