Pheo stared at her, wide eyed. "That was the meanest thing you ever said." She then cheered.
Kao laughed. "But smiling is good for you!"

Milai blinked. "Why are you cheering?"
"Because!" Pheo was clueless...
She tried to frown but found she couldn't when she was looking at him. She laughed and fell forward onto his chest again.

Milai and Koji blinked.
Pheo was a little bt hyper- the fact she had a bite of a chocolate bar and that was it was kicking in. "What?"
At that pint, the furry object jumped on Kaos head.
"On my head."
She laughed and picked Blue up. "Silly cat and silly boy. You two are destined to be with each other."
Blue and Kao both looked disgusted and recoiled from one another.

"Nothing." they said.
Pheo smiled at them. "You two must be hungry..."
She laughed and got off the table, jumping down like a ballerina. She set Blue down and patted his head. "What can we do?" Rhea asked Kao.

"I'm not..." Milai said.
She blushed when her stomach grumbled. Koji laughed.
"You're stomach thinks differently."
"Well, are you hungry?"
"Yup!"
Pheo got up and grabbed thier hands. "C'mon, I know where food is!"
"Well, I have the feeling that the owner of a certain bird is about to come in.."He said.
The pheonix was asleep in a corner.

"Okay..." they blinked and got up.
Pheo led them to the food room.
She was glad to be with them, that they wern't harmed from the thingy.
Kao counted down in his head.

Pheo opened the door, revealing a room with food enough for all of them.
She took another chocolate bar, not very hungry.

"Now what to eat...." Koji tapped his cheek.
Milai only shook her head.
"you need to eat." Pheo told her, obviously concerned.
Rhea oohed at the closetfull of food. "Wow, Pheo." She skipped up, perkier than usual and saw what the selection was.
Kao wandered over.
"Kid you like to feed people, doncha?"
"No, really?" Pheo was NOT nice to Kao.

Milai only lifted an eyebrow at Pheo. She then turned her eyes to Kao, smirking as she remember his dream about cows.
Pheo stubbornly got the first thing that came to hand and gave it Milai to eat.
It was a self heating cup soup.
Kao winced. "Honey-"
Pheo smacked him. "I'm not your honey." She said, throaing an orange at him.
Rhea stepped in front of Pheo and said, "Pheo, hon, calm down."

"Relax Pheo..." Milai told her.
"Yeah...what did he ever do to you?" Koji asked, eating soup.
She twitched. She HATED being called honey.
Passionately.
"Don't. Call. Me. Honey." She snapped, dissapearing behind a row of shelving to get something. "and he knows damn well what."
A moment later, some orange juice got put down beside. She was getting drinks.

Milai blinked and looked at Kao. "What did you do?"
Koji was curious too.
"Hehheh, Umm, well, I kinda sorta called her honey when she was a kid and every single male fan called ehr that and she kinda sorta hates it....." He was red as a beet.

Milai made a face. "So wonder she doesn't like you much."
Koji agreed silently and went to go help Pheo.
She was litterally simmering, her hair had fire in it. Kao had left out the part of the story he knew would set her off.
Her moods were pretty simple to read.
Kao mumbled something.
Rhea sighed and shook her head. "I guess it's payback for the frog, though."
Kao blushed again. "Well, that was part of her version of revenge.. she has a nasty streak!"

"What frog?" Milai lifted an eyebrow.
"He got you worked up huh?" Koji said to Pheo quietly.
"He knows me from before." She said quietly. "He knows I ahte that name. Passionately."
"She put one down my pants."He shuddered.

Milai placed a hand over her mouth, holding in a giggle. Her eyes held laughter; she thought that was funny.
"And it bit him," Rhea added, giggling.
Kao was blushing.
Pheo blushed. "oops." She said. The fire in her hair vanished as she took some deep breaths.

Koji only smiled at her.
She smiled back. "That was what- lot of people who end up handing my bum to me call me. So I have issues."
She had been steadily taking things down, and blushed when she realized they were walled in.

Koji blinked and noticed that they were, in fact, walled in. "That wasn't stupid..." he said quietly, a slight blush crossing his cheeks.
"It wasn't?" Pheo sounded confused.

"So...what did you dream about?" he asked, trying to keep up conversation.
Milai giggled, her giggle sounding like tinkling bells. "I'll tell you how I know what your dream was if you're interested."
"All of us, and some stuff from before... and, um, yeah.." She said quietly. "you?"
"Please tell me?"
Rhea said to Milai, "Her name's Blue. Kao's afraid of her because I dropped her on his head." She giggled.

Milai giggled at what Rhea said before looking at Kao. "Well, I can control dreams. All of you have dream orbs on this plane called the 'dream plane'. I can go there and I look at people's dreams. If they're bad and the orbs belong to friends, I change them to make the person's dream happier." she turned to Rhea. "Remember your dream of a kitten playing with yarn?"
"Something bad...then all of us...."
"I'm sorry." she said, hugging him.

Milai's humming stopped; she was on the dream plane again.
"Kay." Pheo said, reaching to help him out.
Kaos dream orb popped up, it was a bit.. more... interesting this time.

Milai whistled to the orb, beckoning it to come close. It bumped her cheek playfully before coming into her arms, expanding some. Milai blinked when she saw the dream.
Kao's dreaming about....me? she thought, still whistling to keep the orb expanded.
It was mostly about her eyes and her face.
Pheo was almost done with her half ot the wal she accidentally built.

Milai watched his dream, a blush crossing her cheeks. She then stopped whistling and the orb went to its original size. She sat down, watching the orb as it circled others near her.
Why is he dreaming about me?
Koji finished his half.
Pheo grinned, going back to the real world.
She looked relaly happy. not that you could blame her...

Koji followed her out. He blinked. "Wow...were we gone that long?"
Milai decided to enter his dream. She whistled and the orb opened again, wide enough for her to step inside. She went inside the dream, staying hidden.
He mostly dreamed about her eyes.
He had a crush. a big one.
"Kao would sleep through the end of this world." Pheo said. "He's crazy like that."

Koji chuckled. "What about spirit lady?" he asked, motioning to Milai. "Look like she's deep in thought."
Milai hid a smile as she inserted an image into the dream; her talking to him with her dancing eyes. She inserted another, one of her just studying him as he talked to Pheo.
that prompted some interesting thought, including wondering if she might like him back, and a doubt of it.
Pheo giggled a bit.
"I think I know why.."

"You do?" Koji looked at her.
Don't doubt anything.... her voice echoed in the dream as she stepped out. I like you as well...though I'm sure that doesn't matter. she left the dream plane.
She blinked her eyes, shaking her head slightly.
"Kao has a cru-u-ush. And I think she likes him back" She said, whispering the last part.
KAo slept on, a smile now on his face.

"Uh huh." Milai lifted an eyebrow. She looked at both of them and hugged them.
Koji blinked, patting her back awkwardly. When she whispered something, he blushed five shades of red.
"About time you two got together..." she had whispered.

"Why are they blushing?" came his sleepy voice.

"Because they're-" Milai started, but Koji slapped a hand over her mouth.
"No reason." He answered for her.
Rhea felt as if she was stuck in slow motion. She saw everything in a blur, so she picked Blue up and went outside, walking a little drunkenly, sitting on the steps and breathing in the air.
Kao shrugged. "I'm gonna go check on Rhea."
He wandered out.
Pheo was blushing so hard it was funny.
Rhea saw Kao walk up, but he didn't look like Kao. He was fuzzy around the edges. Still a blur. She took another deep breath in and kept petting Blue.
"you okay?" He asked, sitting beside her.
She shook her head. "I can't see," she said casually. She kept a gentle but firm grip on Blue.
Kao sat beside her. "It's pretty dark. Want me to look at your eyes though?"
She nodded. "But you'll have to move to see them. I can't. I'll fall." She smiled weakly, petting Blue.
Koshu gently took her head, turning it to face him. What he saw made him curse.
This was going to be interesting to fix...
[Wrong name. ^.^]
Rhea said with a hint of worry in her voice, "What is it?"
((-mutters under breath- sorry.. I'm working on a story and thats a character name...))
Kao frowned. "Something is in your eyes. It looks funny.." He carefullypressed the area around her eyes.
"Does that hurT?"
[ It's okay. ]
She shook her head. "No. I can't feel anything." She did feel Blue slip out of her hands, though. She felt around for her.
Kao caught the kitten. "I've got her. Hold still."
He carefully took a deep breath, remembering something.
When he had been in the vortex, something had told him about how it was quite useful to breathe when healing was needed.
He blew gently on her eeys.
It was warm, caring, and sweet- and healing.
She felt a warm breath on her face. She saw a little bit, but it was still fuzzy. Everything seemed to have changed colour, too.
He had big lungs- he kept blowing. It slowly got better. His breath semed to be fixing whatever was wrong, slowly.
She could see again, but everything was in negative colour. She said, "I don't mind. I know what everything is."
He stopped at that point, a little dizzy. "Okay."
((We will find a way to fix it.))
Blue jumped on her again.
[KK.]
She said, "Maybe you should lie down. That must've taken a lot of work." She pet Blue.
Kao yawned. "Nuh-uh!" he said, flushing.
She giggled. "You just yawned. You should lie down," she said again.

[ Kao likes Milai, Koji and Pheo are together, I think, and you're still in the eating room with Pet. Kao and I are outside. ]
((Kao and Pheo revealing they know each other. Pheo and Koji kissing, umm.))
Kao was sorta hyper.
"I"m glad Pheo didn't kill me."
"Why would she've killed you?" Rhea tilted her head to the side.
"When I knw her, she was really sweet. But she was definately a redhead. She had a boy once, who stalked her. But the moment he touched her- brrr. She can fight, not well, but she has sharp teeth. And sharper elbows."
She giggled. "I was the same."
"Yeah, but you never threaten to tear a guys heart out cause he told you your chest was hot... She has a short fuse."
[XD . . . I think I know who you're reffering to. . . ]
"That's because I don't have much of a chest." She stroked Blue, who was purring loudly.
"Neither does she."
((-peace sign- who, me?))

She looked at him and said, "Well, you're a guy. Between she and I, who's is bigger?"
He blushed.
He mumbled her name.
Poor guy. He was embarrassed.
Pheo was smaller, but she was a small person.
[Hahahahahahahaha.]
She said, "Oh, sorry." She smiled slightly, then bit her lip and said, "Didn't mean to embarass you."
Blue meowed and licked Rhea's arm. She looked down and let go of her, realizing she'd been holding her down to keep from laughing.
Kao was bright cherry red.
To Rhea, Kao's face looked orange. That made her laugh harder.
Ke looked away.

She was rather red and actually hid slightly behind Koji.

She wasn't glowing anymore, and it seemed awful dark.
She frowned, then a ball of light appeared near her head.

Koji was glaring daggers at Milai because she gave the candy back. She looked at him and smiled innocently.
"Well you weren't going to share."
"Just take away my fun why don't you?"

Pheo giggled and held out half the chocolate to Koji.
"Here." She said sweetly.

Milai only shook her head, chuckling.

Pheo grinned, nibbling on her chocolate.
The fireball illuminated thigns well.
And you could see something on her body, from the old world- white scars, that reflected light.
Two on her neck, one that wend down her shirt, in line with her spine.
The light was unflickering.

"Pheo, what happened?" Milai asked, touching one of the white scars.
Touching it made her stiffen. "long story." She said quickly.
They were from him.
the guy she had trusted, who killed her other friends.
Who decided to let her live because she said please.
But said she coulden't grow.

"Tell...it's bothering you." Milai told her, noticing that she tensed.
Koji wanted to know too.
[Sorry I'm behind, hon.]
She nodded and held out her hand. "The ground looks black. I don't know where to step."
"Ask Kao- he won't mind or get as emotional as I know I'll get." She didn't sound so scared and weak now- she had an iron will behind her sweetness.

Kao took her hand, then picked her up, in a piggyback.

Pheo nodded. She relaxed some. "I'm going for a walk, okay?" She sai,d hearing Kao and Rhea coming in.
Kao walked into the food room as Pheo alked out, the fireball staying.
He looked sorta sleepy.
[Aww. I feel loved! *hugs all back* Hi Snow!]
She giggled as she felt herself being picked up. Everything looked odd from a different height. She slid off of his back and sat down. "I think this is all I'm capable of at the moment."
"I'll try some more later."he said. "Hello. Where was Pheo going?" He asked the other two.
Pheo sighed as she walked. She hated thinking about the scars.
"It's alright. I'll be fine." She looked around for a white furry shape, and saw none.

"She said she's going for a walk." Koji said.
"How are you two?" Milai asked the both of them.
Rhea shrugged. "I'm not sure. I guess I could say, I'm fine, since I can see, but I'm also not fine because everything's in it's negative." She smiled. "It looks awesome, though."
"I'm good. And why would she go for a walk? Pheo is a people person. She really dosen't like being alone, less shes a bit mad." He said, frowning. "And I'll try to fix that sooon." he said to Rhea
Pheo stayed close. She sank down the wall, nearby. She closed her eyes, rest ing a little, and thinking of something else.

"I don't mind," she said a bit out of it. She was still looking for Blue.
"Brrr. She always freaks on that." Kao said. He didn't notice the furry animal about to jump on him.
Pheo put her head down on her knees, thinking over everything. She didn't notice her eyes getting heavier, as the chocolate, which had been drugged, took effect...

Koji was starting to get a little worried.
Rhea saw something about to pounce on Kao. She leaped toward it and grabbed it, knowing it was Blue. Then she started panicking because she thought she was falling down a black hole.

"Rhea, relax!" Milai was over to her in a second, a gentle hand on the other girl's shoulder. "It's okay. You're not falling....relax."
"The guy who tried to kill her earlier gave those to her so she can't grow. Ever. He killed the rest of her class in front of her, and all of her friends, and the teacher. He let her live though, because she was actually nice to him. But he was still mean to her, doing that." He said, turning and carefully huging rhea, to prove to her she wasnt falling.
Pheo's body relaxed, and her head and knees and arms streched out.
Something began to move in on her, smiling evily.

"I'll be back you guys. I'm going to go find Pheo." Koji sensed something was wrong.
Milai looked at him and nodded before looking at Kao, a frown coming to her face. "I don't see why anyone would do that to her..." she said in her quiet voice.
Rhea closed her eyes and took deep breaths. She said, "Sorry guys. I'll get used to it."
Kao sighed. "HE was crazy- he used to write her letters. That was generally when she got.. um.. moody."
Pheo was a hall away, slumped on the wall. It had been doused with a thing made to knock out a girl.
The shadowed figure scooped her up, eyes glinting, bringing her lolling head and limp neck to its mouth.
Rhea shivered and said, "Guys somethings wrong. . . "

Milai nodded...Koji, help her.... she thought to herself.
Koji appeared behind the figure, hands glowing. Darkness surrounded Pheo and moved her away from the figure.
"Don't. Touch. Her." He growled.
Pheo was limp, breath slowed to a barely tangible rate.
It snarled, reaching to grab her, revealing- not a person. It was like a spider, made to fit a humans body.
Kao twitched, saying something that sounded suspiciously bad.

Koji growled again. He hated spiders. Darkness flew towards it, piercing its body on impact.
"Something's going on...." Milai chewed on her lower lip in worry.
He hit it hard enough to send it scuttling off, leaving Pheo where Koji's blast had made it drop her.
Pheo was silent, in her state she seemed to be halfway dead.
The fireball above dimmed slowly.
Rhea said frantically, "I think someone should check it out."

"I'll go." Milai suggested before going off to where she had seen Koji disappear. But not before grabbing a few cherries...
Koji went over and crouched beside her, picking her up. "Pheo...Pheo, answer me."
She was silent, laying there. She was pale, evenf or her.
And her glow was gone, even the sparkle that was always around her, even when seh slept.
Kao hugged her. "Here." He grabbed a cherry and put it in her hand. "Eat this, I have an Idea..."
Rhea sat there, waiting for a feeling that said everything was alright.

"What happened?" Milai asked.
"A spider tried to get her....I knew you shouldn't have given the chocolate back!"
She winced. "Here...see if these'll help." she handed him the cherries.
Kao did the only thing he could and wrapped an arm around Rheas shoulders.
Pheo was limp still.
Rhea leaned on Kao and said, "What happened?"

"What do you want me to do with these?" He asked her.
"Try to give those too her...maybe those would work." Milai said softly.
He glared at her, but tried anyway.
It sort of worked, the cherry went in and she automatically swallowed.
She coughed, and her breathing seemed to be better, sorta.
Kao kept an arm around Rhea.
Rhea looked around and noticed the walls weren't red anymore. She asked Kao softly, "What colour are the walls normally?"

Milai only remained quiet.
"Blue."
Pheo caught her breath and slowly woke up, looking confused. sh was glowing hugely now.
The flame ball in the room went back to normal.

"Pheo, you're okay!" Koji hugged her.
Milai smiled but it fell. She disappeared into the shadows.
Pheo blinked and hugged back, not as strong as she had been. "What happened?" She asked.
She didn't remember anything. she looked around. "Where? What?" She said as she noticed Milai vanished.

"That chocolate you ate was drugged. And this spider thing tried to take you away." Koji explained.
((Awww.. pheo has a plan to make them friends again.))
She frowned, then nodded. "I remember." She sighed. She was still pretty weak, it was obvious.
HEr hair wasn't sparkling at all, though she was glowing.

Kao relaxed. "Good thing." He said noncommitally. He yawned, accidentally.

She blushed, relaxing some. BUt- she was upset, about something. "Okay..."
Kao let go of Rhea, and on an impulse put an arm around her. The room was chilly.

"Because I gave Pheo her chocolate back. It was drugged..."
Kao thought. "You didn't know that. I'll talk to him, okay? That is, if Pheo dosen't get him first."
She sighed. "then why the hell can't a fight?"
That she was cursing, even using minor words, was a show of how upset she was- she never cursed, not normally.

She shook her head. "No reason for you to get involved." she said.
Kao thought. He wasn't sure if he shoulde- but he did. before he thought about it, he kissed her cheek. "I want to get involved, I care about you." He said quickly.

"Thanks..." her cheeks tinted pink, a weird color against her skin.
He then walked in the direction of where the room the three of them shared was located.
Pheo fell asleep as he carried her, face so trusting, it waskinda sad.
She trusted him with everything, even if she didnt say it.
Kao smiled, and before he could think on it kissed her lightly on the lips.

He made it to the room and lay her down on her bed, pulling the sheets over her small frame. He then sat near her, leaning back against the headboard.
This made her blush deeper.

One hand of hers moved till it touched him- it stopped that.

Koji took her hand lightly, holding it gently in his own.
Milai's eyes went down for a moment before she looked up at him, giving him a soft kiss back.
[KK. That works. *glomps*]
Rhea woke and found herself on a table again. She sat up and looked at the floor. Now it was gray.
He blinked, then smiled at Milai. "w-will you be my girlfriend?" he asked quickly, hoping Rhea didn't hear.
Her skin was really warm, especially consiering the chill of the place.
