The world has been destroyed by a strange, magical force...

History: She used to be a rising country singer until the strange thing hit earth. She has no clue what happened but is trying to look after other people, the only thing she knows how to do really well. She awoke inside an egg, and got out to find a bird guarding her that is made of fire and is now her best friend.

W-what's happened to me? Milai thought to herself, looking at her blue-ish colored skin. Her emerald colored eyes blinked as she stared at her skin.
"Well, this is new..." Koji mumbled to himself. Though he still resembled a human, something dark was surrounding his hands.

AI blinked her eyes open and took a look around lieing on the floor. She opened her mouth to let out a scream only to remember she lost her voice. Slowly she sat up and took a look around.
The egg broke.
A redhaired young woman spille dout of it, a bird perched on her shoulder.
"What?" She asked, looking a Kao.
"Whats going on?"
"Beats me?"

Laura stood there in a daze. "where am I" she mummbled as her vision cleared
Trey Stood up and looked around. Something ontop of his head moved. He put his heads up there and felt them. They were ear!
At that point, pheonix realized elactly waht she was wearing. Having been the sort of girl who lived on anything but bare skin, she blushed.
Kao looked at her. "Honey, whats wrong?"
"I'M NOBODY'S HONEY!" Pheonix reacted like normal. Pure fire surrounded her, and her eyes blazed.

Milai blinked her eyes again. She realized she was laying on something, but didn't want to move any. Blue-ish hair spilled around her head as she turned her head to look at her surroundings.
Koji was walking, looking around. What happened here? He wondered, as the darkness continued to surround his hands.

Pheo looked stunned. "What the hell?" she asked. The fire kept going, the fire-bird-thing trying to calm her down. Her fire was like a beacon, lighting up the moonless night.

Seeing the flames AI wandered over. She tried keeping herself hid. She didn't trust anybody. Not even her own family.

Pheonix was scared as her fire became evident for miles around, not understanding. The bird was trying to calm her as Kao shielded his eyes.

At the same time, both Koji and Milai saw flames. From the different positions, they made their way over to the origin of the flames.
Pheonix was crying, her tears were sparkling.
"Wahts going on?" she kept asking. The pheonix on her shoulder kept preening her.
She forced herself to try and relax, but couldent.
Kao covered his eyes. "Calm down, whatever you;re doing, it started when you feaked out kiddo."

It's. . . It's a girl. AI looked taken aback. She didn't go any closer than she needed to and didn't bother to introduce herself. She was hopeing she was far enough away to hid herself from the girl.
Pheo closed her eyes. She finally relaxed, the flames starting to calm down, but staying at the brightness. She walked from them, holding the bird.
She tripped, and landed on AI on accident, yelping.

AI pulled away in fright. She didn't move too far because she still wanted to know who she was and why she was covered in flames.

Rhea opened her eyes and looked around. No one was there. She whimpered and stood up. There was a weird craving in her stomach. She clutched her stomach and started walking around. She saw a red light pulsing and she followed it, hoping it'd lead to people.

Milai stayed hidden as she saw the red haired girl fall onto another. She pressed her back against the tree she leaned on, blinking emerald eyes. Was she the origin of the flames? she thought to herself.
Koji blinked. It's a girl... he thought, watching the same person. My she's bright... he continued to think, shielding his eyes some.
Pheo's glow toned down as she stared at the other girl.
"Who are you?" She asked.
Kao laughed. "You won't ask me honey?"
"I'M NOBODY'S HONEY!" It produced the same result as before a fireball appearingo n Kaos hair, making him smother it.
Rhea went behind a tree when she saw a few people and a bird. The pains in her stomach were sending signals to her brain saying, "Blood. You need blood." She squeezed her eyes shut and tried to ignore it. But she couldn't. She looked at the nearest person (Koji) and licked her lips. Just a little bit, she thought. I won't get that mcuh. She snuck up behind him and prepared to jump. . .

HKoji sensed someone else and darkness appeared around him. He glanced over his shoulder, looking for the person he felt behind him...that is, before he was tackled.
Milai kept quiet, which wasn't too hard. She looked from the red head to the male that had spoken to her.
"I'm Milai..." she said softly when the girl asked the question. "And that's what I'm trying to figure out..."
Rhea saw her meal fall to the ground. She tackled the guy who jumped on him, screeching and trying to scratch his face and get him off the other guy.

Pheo looked kinda helpless. She stood up. "N-nice to meet you. I'm Pheonix.." She said softly, the flames were gone. But she kept up a steady, warm glow.
Kao grabbed the girls hands. "Now honey, calm down. Why you pouncin on the nice boy over there?" He asked, having rolel doff the other guy.

Koji sat up, dusting himself off.
"Nice to meet you Pheonix..."
Koji looked at the two girls that were talking. "And I'm Koji.."
His voice grabbed Milai's attention and she looked over at him.
Pheo touched the silent girl.
"Whats your name?" She asked. She was ignoring the fighting. "And.. I guess none of us know whats going on.."
"Any speculations?"
Kao coughed, then the smoke vanished into him. He felt better immediately.
Rhea's eyes glowed red. She snarled, "Let go of me! I'm hungry!" She glared at him, not struggling anymore, but mad. She felt her brain telling her something else, but she focused mainly on her hunger.

Kao looked at the dragon.

Pheonix blinked at her.
"Calm down." She said softly, glow starting to intensify. The pheonix on her shoulder nodded.
"Everyone calm down." She repeated. Her glow kept intensifying, but it was warm, not painful.

Trey just nodded gripping Lauras shoulder.
Rhea whined again and then felt weak. Her vision blurred and she collapsed onto the man. Her brain laughed and said, "Should've morphed. Should've listened." But her stomach growled again and her whole body lurched.

Kao let her drink his blood, pressing his wrist to her fangs.
Pheo's glow intensified the more scared she got. She hated it when people fought, they were scaring her.
The glow wasn't painful, it was comfortable, warm, loving.

Koji and Milai caught eyes. Her eyes gained a curious look before it turned to one of fright. Koji blinked and looked down at his hands.
"Oh yeah..." he made the darkness disappear and looked back up at her. "See? Darkness gone now..."
She still took a step back as he got up and walked towards her. "No need to be scare of me..." Koji reassured her.
Milai took another step back and ducked behind another tree.

Jessica changed back into human form yet her wings were visable. She looked at them with curiousity.
Rhea felt herself being 'recharged' and she tried to stand up. She couldn't. Her vision was still blurred and her legs wouldn't stiffen. She moaned. Her brain wasn't saying anything. She didn't know what to do.

Laura smiled again and this time her fangs were as clear as clear came be.
Pheonix's temper exploded.
"GOOD GOD WILL YOU PEOPLE STOP ACTING LIKE HOOLAGINS!" She snapped, temper rising. Her skin was glowing so bright she looked like a lightbulb.
Kao looked at her, and picked the other girl up, sweet.
He looked at the girl, waiting.

Milai twitched. She didn't like yelling. She covered her eyes from the brightness Pheo gave off and didn't move as she felt someone pull her to them.
Koji helped cover Milai's eyes, trying to be nice to the girl. She seemed scared and that bothered him for some reason.

Rhea felt herself being picked up. She twitched again. She still couldn't see, and her whole body felt like it was made out of jelly. She grabbed the man's shirt and held on to it tightly. She didn't want to be left alone again.

All Rhea could see was a small red glow, and it hurt. She shook her head and tried to get her vision back, but it wouldn't come to her. She buried her face in the man's chest and cried softly. She was scared.
Pheo blinked.
"I'm Kao, and I'm one too. So is she, but she's a bit out of it, so I don't know her name." He said, nodding to the girl in his arms. "Its okay, cheer up." he said softly to her, letting her drink from his wrist again.
"I'm Pheonix. People calledme Pheo though.. I'ma fire nymph."

She felt the warm blood at her lips again, but she couldn't open her mouth to get it into her system. She didn't know how to do anything anymore, it seemed. Her brain said, "You need to morph." But she couldn't. She couldn't focus.
Pheo looked lost, so tiny. She was the youngest for sure.
Except for the blow and the bird, she looked human.
Kao was tending to the girl in his arms, and no one seemed to notice Pheo. "Morph." he told her softly, voice compelling.
She edged behind a rock. suddenly, she was scared.

Rhea heard him say, "Morph." She tried. All of a sudden her whole body started shaking. Her brain was saying, "Yes, that's it. Keep focusing." She couldn't stop the shaking and pictures of a horse were running through her mind. She felt her mind changing. . .

I was siting in a tree singing and I saw a big fire, then when I came I saw some fools fighting. Jessica said.
Pheo slipped into hiding again, glow dieing. She remembered her parents must be dead, they wern't here...
Rhea felt her mouth and nose turning in to a muzzle. Her long, black hair connected with her neck to become a mane and a tail sprouted from God only knows where. Her hands melded together and became hooves. She felt her eyes moving, it felt gross. She hoped that the man would drop her soon so she wouldn't smush him. . .

Milai went over to Pheo, crouching down near the girl. "What's wrong?" she asked in her soft voice.
Pheo jumped. Her glow was very dim.
"My parents died." She said quietly. Her parents were the only thing she had ever really cared about.
Kao let go, setting her down and backing away.

Pheo was lost, the problem was. She was 16, and quite frankly, her parents hadn't let her grow up. She looked at the girl, and out of ehr mouth poppe one thing.

Rhea let out a shrill neigh and felt herself becoming full horse. She stood up, a tall beautiful Friesian. She reared up and shook her head. She sent a thought to the man's head laughing, "How did I do that?"

Laura felt herself change. She smiled and closed her eyes. Her nails grow longer and her body start to float. She opened her eyes and they were a bright red.
She shook her head and sent another message, "But now I don't know how to get back into vampire form. . . My name's Rhea, by the way. And thank you."
"THink yourself? And what the"
He stared at the other transforming girl, backing away slowly.
Pheo was trying not to shake. She was mostly failing. Her light was growing gain, she was freaking out.

Rhea looked over at what everyone else was focusing on. She forgot her eyes were different. She looked over at the girl and stamped her foot. "What's wrong?" She asked the man.

Pheo's glow was coming back. "Y-you won't hurt us." She said stubbornly.
"You innocent? She nearly did hurt us!"
"Nuh-uuh!" Pheo argued.
"Oh." She went over to him and nudged him with her nose. "It's okay." She laughed, "Seems strange, but, I'll protect you."

He was disturbinly sane.

Pheo stamped her foot grumpily.
If there ws one thing you could see in her, it was that even when she was scared she cared for others.
Kao was watching and listening.
She nickered. "Okay, I'm going to try to change into something else." She concentrated on a bird, a big bird. She shook, but the only thing that happened was she grew wings on her horse back. "Oh, well." She laid down next to the man and said, "You never said your name."

"Huh?" Pheo lookeda t ehr hands and blushed, the glow and fire fading. "I don't even know why I keep doing that. But at least it dosen't hurt."
Kao yawned, sleepy suddenly.
She said, "That's a nice name." She yawned, which felt weird as a horse. Her wings stretched as she did. She shook her head, trying to stay alert.

AI thought for a moment before reaching out to touch the ground in front of her. They all seemed to be able to do something special. Could she? as she touched the ground ice appeared. She almost shoted in happiness.

Koji sat down, staring at the sky.
"Good," Rhea said. She folded her long neck into her side and closed her eyes. She stretched out, trying to not hit Kao, but just trying to get more leg room.
She didn't he was using her belly as a pillow.
Phao listened to the music.
She turned to Koji and Milai shyly.
"I'm sorry." She said softly.

She Started to sing a new song (Glamorous by fregie)
Rhea felt him move onto her belly and she smiled inside. She felt better than ever right now.
"glowing like that.."
At that point, she looked at the dragon lady.
"Umm.. what was your name again?" she asekd her, wanting to say sorry toher too.
Kao slept.
Rhea dreamed she was a young child again, running through the meadows behind her family's large house with her brother. He caught up to her and started tickling her. She laughed and laughed. Oh, how she missed him.
Kao dind't dream. He napped for about five minutes before waking up again.
Rhea was startled out of her sleep by someone singing. She bellowed, but then remembered she couldn't talk while a horse. She said to Kao, "Could you ask her to stop please?"
Kao sat up.
"I have a better idea kid." he said.
He covered her ears with his hands, careful not to hurt her. He was treating her like a kid sister.

Jessica looked to her right and saw the cematary her family was barried in, she flew into it, it was right by the woods anyway. Jessica sat a her family's grave. and said : I'm tired of everything. Noone knows what I'm feeling, or how much I hurt. I dont expect you to understand why. But pain doesn't hurt, when it's all I'v ever felt. Deep down I'm sad. I'm sick of crying, inside I'm dying. I'm slowly running out of reasons to hold on. I sit alone in the rain, noone can see my tears. Suddenly I feel alone. I feel like I'm faceing everything alone with nothing but tears. Behind this smile is everything you'll never understand. I hurt deeper than you'll ever know. I wish I was invisable as the world makes me feel. But I try to hold it inside. You only think you understand me. I am nothing more than a little girl inside, crying out for attention, yet I always try to hide. My feelings I hide. My dreams I can't find. I'm loseing my mind. I can't find my place. I'm lost inside. I'm sorry I can't be perfect. Not pretty enough. Not perfect enough. Where can I run to escape this pain? I am the girl with the broken smile. She couldn't hold them back anymore so she sobbed into her hands.
Phao had followed. She hugged the dragonlady, trying to comfort her, to make her feel better. "Don't be sad, I'm sorry..."

AI sighed. She hadn't moved from her spot, but contuied to touch the once raw ground in front of her. Everytime she did ice would appear. For some reason it comforted her.
"Yeah, and it would sound nice if it wasn't magnified tenfold in my head!! Let me try to morph back again." She stood up and moved a back bit. She concentrated on her old self and then, easier than before, she was a vampiress again. She brushed off her black dress and said in her normal voice again, "That was fun while it lasted." She smiled at Kao.

Milai was twitching slightly, her eyes closed. Koji had drifted to sleep...and he was dreaming. His dream was pouring into her mind and it wasn't pretty. She wanted to change the dream, make it happier, but she couldn't do that; she didn't know him well enough to try that.

Ai made sure she was a good distance away before she laid down to sleep. She sat more or less like a dog would resting her head on the back of her hands.
Rhea morphed into a horse again, getting used to it, and fell asleep by the tree she came into the clearing by.

Pheo woke up first, yanked out of sleep by a familiar voice that scared her out of her wits. Sitting up, she froze.
A tall, handsome young man stood about five feet away, calling the name that he had always called her. "Theo!"
Pheo stood up, glowing in her fear.
Kao was asleep, using Rena for a pillow

Pheo stared at him, shaking. He turned, and one hand went out to grab her.
She moved out of the way.
'Aww, you little idiot! I won't kill you this time either~ All I wanna do is whatch youf face while the others scream!"
"No! I tried to stop you last time and this time I will!"
"Pheo, Pheo Pheo.... Last time I cut you so you will never grow... nice to see it worked."
"You won't hurt them, you're only joking, you always were!"
"No, I'm not theo. You alwyas believe there is some sort of good person inside someone else. How is it someone who has seen so much like you can still be so innocent?"

Milai hadn't slept; the dreams kept her awake. She opened one emerald eye hearing Pheo talking to someone. At the same time, Koji woke up as well, hearing the same thing.
It was a strange scene- A glowing pheo, fists clenched, obviously terrified of the male, and a tlal man who dwarfed her, making he rlook like she was younger than se was.
"Just let me-"
"NO!" Pheo yelled, fire forming around the male. she looked angry.
"Now Theo dearie..."
"No! I trusted you once, and you killed everyone I made friends with, and left me to be tiny! I won't let you do the same to someone else!" Pheo was yelling now, temper getting the better of her.
The pheonix landed on her shoulder, and in the light you could see that she may be scared, and shy, but she had a fierce heart under it all.
[Sorry for they typo in my message. Eating pizza and typing is a little bit difficult!]
Rhea woke up and looked around. A man was harassing the little one. Rhea nudged Kao to wake up.
He coulden't move, but niether could Pheo- he had used his magic to surround her body. She was crying and firghting it, glowing brighter than anything.
Kao woke up, rubbing his eyes. "What the.. "He said when he saw the scene.
The man was advancing on Pheo, anger in his eyes.
"How daryou defy me, brat. When you were little you were a pain, but now you are worse. How is it you see good in everything?"
"Just don't hurt the others!"
Rhea got up and angrily pawed the ground. She reared up and let out a tree shaking neigh. Then, she charged at the man. . .
He yelped, darkness wrapping around her.
Pheo used the distraction- the Pheonix attacked him, drawing blood, and fire burnt his legs.
Kao reached into his belt and threw a dagger, neatly slicing the man's hand off.
Pheo's fire was raging around the man, most of all.. and it was hurting him, too.
Rhea reared again after she had hit the man. Kao's dagger hit, too. She aimed for hit feet, hoping he'd fall to the ground.
Hte ma did drop. A flame burnt his troat away, and he died, yelling.
Pheo was dropped to the ground. She had a blackened eye and several cuts on her arms- the darkness she was in had been deadly.
Kao retrieved his dagger, cleaning it. He knew that him + hysterical or nearly hysterical femalses was bad.
Rhea morphed back into a vampire and went over to Pheo. "Are you alright?" She shook her head. "Nevermind. Don't answer that. You're not okay." She turned to Kao and said, "I don't know what to do! Help me!"
Kao gave up and came over.
"Calm down." Pheo was quietly bandaging herself up- she had done this sort of thing before.
"Kiddo, someone just tried to kill you. I think we're allowed to freakout about it a little bit." Kao said calmly. "Here." He pulled out some bandages and helped her bandage up the cuts. he smiled at Rena.
"Think you can move the body?"

Milai went over to Pheo, sitting by her a worried look in her green eyes. "Are you okay?"
Pheo, with a black eye and several cuts, was still glowing.
"Just a bit eat up- its not as bad as he could have done." She said softly, staring fowards
"Yeah. No problem." She got up and dragged the body out of sight. Before she left, she bit into his wrist and got some blood. She moved him back a little bit more, then returned to the group.
Kao was frowning at the blood on the gorund, making it vanish, cleaning up.
Pheo was talking- sorta- with the spirit girl.
((I'm so sorry, I'll brb as soon as possible, my brother needs the computer.))

Rhea sat down under her tree [yes, she claimed a tree!!] and muttered, "Oh, what a day this has been." She looked over at the forest and wondered what it would be like to run away and get lost in the trees, never coming back. She was sure she would die, and then she could be with her family. . .
Kao went over to her. "You look down." he informed ehr.
"He used to be my best friend before he killed our classmates. He let me live because of our friendship, but he made it so I will never grow." Pheo said quietly. Her glow was slowly fading, but she was still sorta scared. She had killed soemone who knew her, who she knew...

Pheo blinked, then relaxed, the glow fading to the point it was barelynoticable There was no sun in thi strangeness.. she seemed to be the illumination.

Milai smiled softly, letting the dream play out. In the dream, it showed a little girl running through a lucious meadow on a pretty sunny day. This little girl had dark hair and the same eyes she had.
Koji was watching for a moment. He went over to them after a moment and sat near Milai, holding out his hand. He made a dark rose (like the one in your sig, sis) and handed it to Pheo.
Pheo took it. HEr glow was pretty much gone. "Thank you." She said.
((We can try- or at least, we won't leave this spot. If anything, you can say you were sleeping XD. But we won't leave your chara alone.))

Finally, the dream was done and Milai sat back. That took a lot out of her but she didn't show it.
Kao realized Rena was asleep again, and fell asleep too.
Pheo shyly smiled at them both.
The pheonix sat in Milai's lap, not catching her on fire, btu grooming her.

"You know...I haven't really got to talk to you..." Koji said to Pheo. "How old are you?" He figured she was young.
"Sixteen." She smiled at him. "Seventeen in three days.." She wasn't sure how to mark days anymore, but didn't mind.
It cooed, and strength seemed to go into her- it was helping ehr out.

Milai petted the pheonix's head again, her way of saying 'thank you'. She then turned to listen to Koji and Pheo talk.
Pheo shot him a look. That was her normal way of tlaking, she disliked speaking.
Now that you coulds ee her, she resembled whatsername from texas, the singer lady.
The pheonix hopped onto Pheos shoulder and started grooming her, having finished cleaning the spirit. It was protecting both of them, in its way.
