Test Subjects #1-45

[Lady_Raven]

This is based on a story I`m writing documenting the life of a mutated girl labeled Test Subject #45.

Either way, there are 45 test subjects, every one of them escaped from the laboratory, and now must be found to be united.

#1 is the powerfullest. His name is dark angel, and is the test subject number #45 and her companions are looking for, because, he is the only one who can help them defeat the main scientist of the laboratory.

Notes: These test subjects were made to be the perfect crime fighters. So, each and everyone has an "alternate" battle mode.

Dark Angel prefers to be left alone to think or train, though if he is with someone he trusts or feels he needs to protect, that is acceptable too. Dark colors are prefered to bright ones, as is the night.

Dislikes:
He does not like bright colors or bright lights. If someone pesters him while he is alone, or trying to think, chances are they will regret it.

Powers:
Dark Angel can read minds, and also can communicate with people through telepathy. One of his other favorite powers is that he will look in your mind and find your greatest fear, and torment you with it. He also has giant black wings that sprout from his back, allowing him to fly. He can minapulate the weather, though it is a bit tiring for him. He has several other smaller powers that, because he was experiment number one, got tried out on him, and decided they were not worth putting on the others.

Weapons:
He does not carry any, because his powers are strong enough.

#45 began to wander about the forest beside the labaoratory quietly. She gave a sigh. It was quiet, and she was alone, she didn`t really exactly like it. She gave a sigh as she sat down and finally broke.

Nehemiah yawned. This was very boring. He'd just finished raiding a scientist's dreams, very funny. He'd have to remember to do that again. He grumbled as he opened the wrong door, again. Where was his room again?

Nolee stared ino the mirror and focused on her hair. Focus, focus, focus...
"HA!"
Nolee's hair became a dark indigo color. Changing her hair color wasn't all that hard, it was just she had to concentrate really hard, or half her hair would be one color and the other half would be another color. And then she'd have to focus twice as hard to fix it.

Melyssa sat and cleared her mind, preparing for meditating.
She heard a noise, and she opened her right eye and peered in that direction. She glared at it, and a cat appeared, surrounded by a dark, purple aura. She sighed and let it go, the cat running away quickly.

Katherine was outside the laboratory as well. She'd discovered that she often trained better in the solitude of the forest, oddly enough.... Maybe it was the lack of distractions. Or the subtly varied terrain keeping her more alert, thus providing extra challenge. Either way, though, she'd felt restless, and had been able to get outside for this purpose. Thus, she found #45, alone and looking, well, the worse for wear. She had seen her around, but didn't know her name or anything about her. "What is it?" she asked the girl.

Krys was in a tree just outside the lab, singing a song. Every time she felt lonely or thought about all those nights, locked away in a cage, it made her feel better. Her voice rang over the crickets and crackling of leaves when the animals scurried from place to place. Anyone who heard her song, instintly felt her pain, or anger, or whatever else she thought she was feeling.

But, all those years, locked away. All those lies. What could she believe? Who could she trust? All her trust was thrown away as a child. When she was taken from her "home" when she was six. She only relied on herself. After all, that was the one person who saved her.

Krys, still upside down, flipped out of the tree. She landed softly on her feet and started walking to town, humming. It was a 4 mile walk, but she was okay with it. She softly hummed the tune to Tear Drops On My Guitar(By Taylor Swift). She got out a book called A Great and Terrible Beauty. Still humming, she bumped into someone.

Dinah sunk to her feet and barried her face into her knees. He tears soaking the skin. The moments earlier, had flown by just like that, like a blurr. So naturally, she was trying to recall all that happened.

Katherine studied the girl for a moment, then lightly patted her on the pack. She wasn't sure what to say here, so she figured she'd make it known support was available if desired.

Dinah gently refused the tissue. She eventually got herself to stop. "It was just scary, I remember surfacing from my container, then dropped in goop, feeling like I was sufficating until I found myself plumiting down into the water." She said with a sigh as she rubbed her forehead.

It had been a few years for her since she had been in "the vat," but how it felt, the cold, then heat, the horrible stickiness and the feeling of something frigid yet burning rushing through her veins.... Dinah looked downwards. She fell silent. After taking a moment to wallow in her thoughts she forced her throbbing limbs to move, allowing her to stand up. It was obvious she wasn`t steady on her legs, quite yet, but, she was close.

Katherine stood as well, thrusting her sword into the scabbard at her belt. "Need a hand?" she said. The girl might well be too proud to accept help- after all, she had brushed off a mere tissue. But she looked ready to collapse. So Katherine would stand by, in case she needed "catching."

Dinah wasn`t no fool. "I would greatly appreciate your help." She responded giving the best she could right now of a smile. She felt her own knees underneath her quiver and shake, she wasn`t a blind fool to brush away help at this moment.

ALex was in a dark conrner resting her eyes she coudl hear all kinds of converstaion going on bcause of her hearing. To most people they woudl have gone crazy but she had learned to block them out unless they were intresting.

Dinah nodded. "I`m ready to go when ever you want." She responded. She still seemed slightly unsure, but, gratefull for the help.

"I'm ready now. Let's go...." She took a few steps forward, being sure not to move too quickly. "Hm, not unlike a three-legged race, only not so fast or chaotic...."

Dinah chuckled. She watched her feet quietly, careful as not to trip over her feet or anything else. She seemed to be getting a little better at it.

"That's good. You're holding up okay...." The girl seemed to be getting steadily stronger. "So, where are we going with you, anyway?"

ALex opened her eyes now, she stood up and yawned a bit, she the wanted to find the people in this intresitng coverstaion she had heard.

Dinah only shrugged. "I don`t know, i just want to get away from here, far, far away." She responded. She felt like someone else might be near, but, she only felt this in her bones.

Katherine nodded, a small movement. "Me too," she said quietly. "I... don't usually tell people that, but... this place drives me crazy. What they did to all of us, and continue to do, with their experiments, their 'training,' all of it.... Like we're not people to them, just... just things. I hate to point it out to you, though, but you really can't make your break in this condition...."

Krys slapped her head. "Krys, you need to stop crashing into things." She told herself, looking at the old tree infront of her. She decided to have a little fun, since she never got to. She got a fast running start and started doing random flips, kicking off of trees, landing on a park bench, on her bottom.

Dinah nodded. She knew all to well that was the truth. "Then, i`ll have to wait until I can make it, and then make the trip on my own." She responded quietly moving away from Kristine.

"Wait- what'd I do? I was just trying to be practical, after all. I want out of here as much as you do. I just figure there's no point in trying it until you know you can get it right! Because there'll be no second try." Uh-oh. Must've bruised an idealist. Oops.... I just don't want her to get killed, that's all!

"I just know... I wouldn`t be able to make it." Dinah responded to Katherine. She was weak right now, and trying to regain her strength. "Why alone? Because any of the other expiriments could be working with the laboratory." She pointed out.
