Scars

I feel the bitter sensation
crawling beneath my skin
As my fingers trace the scars
Once more my anger wins
I spit words of acid
As my blood rushes alive
Yet the words do not wound
so for what did i strive?
I stare into those eyes
I am dazzled, yet i am grieved
distressed by my own cries
stumbling as i try walk away
my mind is set in a twirl
Somehow im forced to stay
With a stung heart and soul.
