The Hells have come to the village of West Harbor. Ash drifted on the breeze like a black snow, born from fires that licked the moonlit sky above. The sound of battle – steel on steel, the screams and pleadings of the wound and dying, the roaring of magic unleashed- rang out around the wizard a deafening cacophony that tore at his mind, threatening the concentration he required to work his Art. The shadows creatures had come in force and unexpectedly, but their tactics were not those of an occupying army, nor of bandit raiders. The creatures were searching for something, and the wizard would be damned if he would let them have it.

There was a sudden lull in the fighting; the shadows broke away from the wizard, swirling to the edges of the town square like leaves on the autumn wind. They were waiting for something. The wizard steeled himself and invoked potent spells of protection. Shadows thrown by burning farmsteads danced madly across the green, slowly coming together and merging into an inky back pool. The pool of shadow rose up, resolving into a gaunt, humanoid figure taller than the houses of West Harbor. An air of icy malevolence, the charnel stink of an open grave on a winter morning, hung about the creature as it turned its burning eyes to the wizard.

There was no sound as the creature struck – no roar of challenge, no hiss of breath, not even the crunch of feet on grass. Blades of pure, black shadow melted from the giant's hands, formed out of nothingness of the Plane of Shadow. That blade arced toward the wizard's head in a strike swifter than a snakebite, only to strike hard and rebound from a sword of glittering sliver. The wizard's blade shone like moonlight and rippled as though it where made from liquid mercury. The shadows shrieked and recoiled from its light.

Even the shadowy giant seemed taken aback by the blade, and the wizard took advantage of the opportunity to launch a vicious counterattack. Violet sparks flashed where the blades connected, and the battle began in earnest, dancing silver clashing with shifting black. Arcane fire seared the night, only to be absorbed by the absolute emptiness of the shadow giant's form. Wizard and creature dueled across the breadth of the charred remains of the village, neither able to gain the advantage.

As the tide of battle carried them towards the western edge of the green, a single sound rose out of the din of battle: a high, reedy noise, unmistakable cry of an infant. For just a heartbeat's time, the wizard's eyes broke away from his opponent, darting across the chaos of the battlefield to find the source of the cry. There – a mother and her child, crouched behind the half-smashed rubble of what had once been the village headman's home. The mother's eyes wide and bright with terrified grief, met the wizard's eyes in a silent plea for help. It was only a moment, a brief instant of human contact in the midst of a duel to the death, but it was too long.

The shadow giant's blade struck so swiftly it scarcely seemed to cross the intervening space. The wizard desperately brought the silver sword up in a parry, but his focus had been shaken. Bereft of the focusing power of the mage's will, the silver sword began to crack, jagged lines of light spider-webbing across its surface. The wizard desperately poured his arcane power into the blade, but to no avail. The shadow giant's eyes glowed with triumph as the silver sword shattered into a dozen pieces.
In the silence that followed, the child wailed.

Plot:
The Portal to Shadow Plane has been opened. And the only way to close it is to find the Key. Hero's set out to find the Key and save the world.

Plane touched/ Beings that have blood of outsiders in them (Demons and angels)

Plane Touched, Aasimar~ A human carrying the blood of a celestial, these are good aligned and fight against evil in the world. They often have minor physical trait suggesting their heritage, such as silver hair, golden eyes, or an unnaturally intense stare.

Plane Touched, Tiefling~ Like an Aasimar, Tieflings are part human but they are infused with fiendish blood. They are often quite twisted or evil. Also like Aasimar Tieflings have inhuman traits like pointed teeth, red eyes, small horns, the odor of brimstone, clover feet, or just an unnatural aura of wrongness.

Elves/ Fey like beings that can live to be over eight thousand years old.

Moon Elf~ Moon Elves are the most common sort of elves in the Sword Coast. They tend to be pale-skinned and dark-haired with deep green eyes.

Dark Elf (Drow) ~ Descended from the original dark-skinned Elven subrace called Illythiiri, the Drow were cursed into their present appearance by the good Elven gods for following the evil goddess Lolth. Also called dark elves, the drow have black skin that resembles polished obsidian and stark white or pale yellow hair.

Sun Elf~ Sun elves are less common across the Coast. Also called gold elves, they have bronze skin, golden blonde, copper, or black hair, and green or gold eyes.

Wood Elf~ Wood elves are reclusive, but less so than the almost feral wild elves. They are much stronger than most other types of elves and make excellent warriors, but worse wizards.

Nhie never saw her father, and her mother died at child birth. She was always treated as some kind of sickness and left as soon as she could.
Appearance: Nhie is a frail looking woman with golden markings on her face. They mark her as a child of Thor, Angel of Healing and Death. Her skin is very pale, like her father's, where he mother said his skin was like the purest marble and his hair golden and silky. Her mother was a sun elf so her skin was bronze and her hair a silvery color. Kyoko stands a a height of 5'5 and is a weight of 110 pounds. She is small, lithe, and beautiful, built for singing and dancing, her past time.

Black locks fell in deep green eyes, and framed a pale face. It danced along her back, slightly wavy. Her slender figure moved gracefully, yet sternly. Odyssa reaches 5"4', weighing 107 lbs. There seemed to be a serene aura around her that makes her loved... by most.

Appearance: Goddard is the son of a blacksmith and thus is built like one, tall, with thick chest, and broad shoulders. He stands over most men at 6’4” and is strong enough to lift most with one hand. His arms are hairy, almost hiding his weathered skin. His brown hair is just long enough to be tied back by a strip of leather and his thick beard is kept neatly trimmed.

He usually wears simple straight legged brown pants and a plain colored shirt that peaks out around his scale armor and is usually rolled up past the elbow. A dark green cloak is also common in the cool mountain area. His thick blade is usually slung over his shoulder in its leather carrying case.
Armor: Goddard has a shirt of horn scale armor backed by leather, he used to not wear it but now he almost always does.

Back Round: Goddard and his wife acted as defenders of a village near the Spine of the World that was plagued by bandits. Appearance: Audrey is an average woman; however she looks small beside her husband so that many are surprised by her 5’6” height. She is not particularly busty however no one would accuse her of being plain either. Her skin is fair and her fiery red hair stands out, giving her an exotic appearance. She is lean, however her muscles are finely toned, meaning she can take care of herself.

Her outfit usually consists of a black, long sleeved shirt and pants with the wrists and ankles bound to keep them out of the way. Her boots are made of soft leather so to be silent and bound under her pants. Her cloak is also black and usually has the hood drawn up to at least hide her distinctive hair if not her face. Her hair falls past her shoulders and is usually free unless she’s sneaking around.
Armor: She wears a black leather chest piece and chaps to provide some protection without the reflection of metal.

4. Neutralize Poison: Stops poison from working. Have to be touching for it to work

5. Sacrifice: Be able to give up your life to save some one else (switching life-forces) It works on pure will. It only works to saving a single life. Sphen can obviously use it once, and only on him self and one other.

6. Dismissal: makes magical beings return to there original planes (Ex: Faced with a crazy mad fire elemental, he could make it go back to the fire plane) It must be spoken, thus the creature on the other end must hear it as well.

7. Great Healing: Heal a large amount of people at one time. It is spoken, and the people have the spell cast on do not have to hear it.

Lady Nhie sat with her hood pulled high. She couldn't stand the idea of someone staring at her. She found it very annoying.

The bard in the corner strumed his harp and sang softly. It was pretty good. She looked at the bar keep and motioned him over. He approached quickly, his chubby cheeks bouncing. "Yes My Lady?" he asked kindly. "Can I have some ale, please?" She whispered softly in elven. He agreed happily and bounced off.

He returned with the large metal mug fizzing as he set it down, struggling for it to not over flow. She smiled at him kindly, knowing he couldn't see it in the shadowy hood. "Thank you." She said softly. She handed him the money with a large tip. "Would my Lady whish for some food?" He smiled. Nhie thought about it. "Yes sir. A loaf of bread and maybe some soup please?" He agreed happily and skuttled off to slap at the kitchen boy to make her food.

The boy gazed at her and she smiled looking at him. By a trick of the light her eyes flashed golden and the boy cried out jumping up to get to work. Nhie sighed sadly.

Amie was just finishing slaying the most notorious thug at Blacklake District, delivered his head to the man at the entrance of The City Core. The man thanked him and give him the reward, as Amie walked toward the City Core and headed straight to Moonstone Mask tavern, right at the center of the City Core. Just as he entered, a plump, vollouptus(??) woman greeted him as he was shown to his seat. Amie takes the order, A large mug of Ale, and some Leaven Bread. After a while, a boy puts the food on the table and Amie fings a gold piece to the boy as the boys jumped in joy, thanked him and skipping towards the kitchen. He started to tear the bread as he eat it whole and one gulp of ale. he relieved as he rummaged inside his backpack and takes out his journal and marked his finished quest.

"Well, what's left is to find 12 pieces of Belladona leaves for the apothecary Mel.".

Sphen road into town on his large white horse, heading straight for an inn, but came across a small bar. It looked like a nice spoke for something to drink, but really he should walk in there with such a large weapon and all of his armor on. “To an inn fist, so its seems that would be best.” He patted his horses neck, and kicked his heels slightly into her making her trot. Once at the outside of the inn, he tied his horse up by the rains. “It will be alright snow.” He stroked her neck and fed her a quick snake. Under his cloak was a small bag, which he kept on his person at all times. “Here,” he pulled out an apple, but it was blue. “Eat this and you won’t be thirsty, and the apple its self will fill you up.” He smiled, and playfully teased her with it. “I got it from that nice older lady in the last town.” Sphen put the strange fruit to his horse and began unloading her.

After he had all that was necessary to take inside, pet the horse once more and headed into the front door. His hood was down, ears were proudly being shown off, and his symbol of his god was clearly seen on everything he owned. It seemed that it was the only thing that kept him from being thrown out for being an elf. “Have room for one sir?” he placed his money bag on the counter top. There was a large clink of coins from inside the bag as he set it down. “I can afford it.”

A human with dark hair and large stature stood behind the counter. “Humm..?” he had a bushy brow and fat lips, which made Sphen cringe for a moment.
“Ah, yes I’d like a room for the night please.” He opened his money bag and started to count out the coins, seeing a price behind him for a average sized room for one. The human smiled seeing that he did have money, and was flaunting it.
“Why yes we have a room for you.” He smiled friendly at the elf boy down in front of him. He pointed in the direction of his room and took the money. Sphen smiled wide at the human behind the counter, and put a large tip on the desk’s end before going down the hall.
“I have a horse out side as well. Take care of her will you?”
“I.”

Nhie smiled at the boy who frightenly handed her the soup and bread. "Thank you." She purred softly and he looked at her. "Yes Ma'am..." He moved to leave but Nhie caught his arm. "May Thor bless you." She whispered handing him a nice tip of his own. The young boy looked at her and bowed, "And you M'Lady, Nhie." The female cleric smiled at him then watched him run off yelling through the tavern of his gift.

Nhie laughed, a soft muscial sound that'd awe most men and even the best bard. It was a shock that she wasn't a bard.

Nhie looked into her soup which was large chunks of carrots, beef, and potatoes with a thick stewy broth. She also looked at the soft bread and started to daintily eat her meal. Keeping her eyes down so not to draw notice to her postion.

Sphen came to his room in the hall, which was far down it. He opened the door, and walked in tossing his things admittedly on the bed. He stripped himself of his armor and jumped in much more casual clothes. Still Sphen wasn’t dumb, he was not about to go out unprotected, or unarmed, not with these days. He put on a patted leather vest, and hid a few daggers on his person. Daggers weren’t his usual weapon; actually he was quite poor with them….heehee…Then of course he had to wear his black cloak, not complete with out one.

Sphen made his way down the hall, and placed a note on the check in desk saying he was out but would be back. He was out in the streets, and headed for the bar he had past earlier. It seemed nice; he only hoped that they would have wine. Causally he walked in scanning every thing, and everyone, it seemed he walked into wrong bars all of the time in the wrong way, but he was think it threw a tad bit better this time. Quickly he took to the bar, sitting down next to someone. (Nhie) Sphen leaned over on the bar top and waited for someone to serve him. Speaking in common to the bartender once he turned to him he said “Wine please, an elven brand if you have it.”

Avion took a deep,cleansing breath as she rode out of the forest.Her steed was of a palamino color,almost blending with her golden hair.Grey,blue,piercing eyes darted around cautiously as she dug her heel into the steed's side,urging him forward.The horse seemed a bit dismayed as carts rolled by,a strange sight to such a reclusive horse.She shushed him,her voice soft as she whispered in his ear in a elven language.
The horse visibly calmed as they stepped forward.The mysterious elven's golden hair tumbled into the palimino's,blending in a rather striking manner.She led him across the dirt paved road and to the front of the inn.She slid off steadily and swiftly,taking the steed's makeshift reigns and hitching them to the post securely.She smoothed down her leather skirt and made her way to the front doors of the inn.

Nhie was happily eating her soup when a male elven stranger approached. He carried himself liked a trained swordsman, walking with grace and ease. Her eyes flicked over his raggy blonde hair, his almond shaped eyes, his sharp swiftly moving eyes as he scanned the crowd. She looked at the inborn strength of his body, the respect for those around him.

She looked at his body, searching for weapons and found several daggers, skillfully hidden amoung his person. She looked at him for a tad longer than needed and looked away feeling rude.

as Amie drink another gulp of ale, he sees many known faces and more unknown faces.
"Sigh.... i am bored... i wish there were some action in this tavern." sighed Amie as he bite another Leaven bread and drink another gulp of ale, as he marked his quest journal, marking the last quest as "pending".
"It's easy to find Belladona leaves". said Amie as he put's back the journal into his backpack.

As Amie finishes the last of the bread and the ale, he shouted at the bartender and ask him to count. The bartender hurriedly walks towards his table and said, "It's 250 gold pieces, sir". Amie payed the gold to the bartender, picked up his swords and walked towards the tavern door, when suddenly, he got knocked down by a grumpy half-orc.

"Watch out where are you going, puny human". the half-orc growled as he moved toward the entrance, but Amie tripped him down by using his leg, saying 'Opps, my mistake, fat-fella". said Amie, playfully.

Her eyes switched over the elven male warrior as she inspected the two carefully for danger.She fiddled a bit with her armor,feeling awkward and uncomfortable in her new setting.She looked at the table,and jumped a bit as a jolly man approached her."What would ye' like?"He asked in a merry tone,looking at her in a dogged manner.She did'nt awnser,afraid to speak,she thought to herself,Just talk,like a human.
She mustered up her courage and opened her mouth,"I would like a ale."She replied with a light,angelic voice.The man nodded and hurried away to fill the order.

Nhie watched as the man removed his good and comfirmed her thoughts of him being an elf. Good. She nodded once and turned to the fight. With speed she stood and went over to stand so she could heal them. But it annoyed her that they'd fight over something this stupid!

"Please...Please stop." Nhie said softly. She was out of striking range but if the enraged orc turned he could hurt her. "Stop, this is petty!" She choked looking at the man then at the half orc. She watched the battle charge and looked around helplessly. No one cared. Fights where normal.

Most people stood and moved to different tables to eat in peace. Other stayed and watched the show.

Sphen jerked around, almost spinning in his chair to see what the commotion was about. Two tall figures....ugly ones at that stood up ready to brwal. Then his eyes went to the, now confimired female by the sound of her voice, trying to stop it. "Ehay, Bar keep!" Sphen yelled over his shoulder, but kept his eyes on the women just in case he may have to step in. "Ya gonna do something? There is about to be a fight in your bar."

Avion slid back in shock as a eruption of brawling came from infront of her.She stood steadily in silent alarm and gripped a knife attatched to her thigh."Just in case.."She murmered in elven tounges.Her grey,blue eyes darted from figure to figure.She let out a little noise.

The inn keeper chuckled, "Settle down lad. Happens all the time. Just sit back and watch." He went back to cleaning his cup.

"I don't know if I can do that." he flashed his hand in the air over his shoulder to the bartender. He took a sip of the red elven wine being careful not to spill the glass. Elven wine was weak to him; he could drink it by the gallons. Sphen placed the glass down on the bar top, and stood up. He smiled at the bartender coking his head to the side slightly in s superficial way. “I don’t like discrimination.”

Nhie let out a cry of fear as the orc's ax swung backwards and almost hit her in the head. She dodged but collasped into the lap of one of his friends. She blinked dazed as a tad confused as strong hairy arms wrapped around her waist as more half orcs laughed.

Nhie struggled to stand but the arms held her on his lap. "Stay and sit with us a while, darling." Slurred a drunken voice. The human man pulled her hood down letting her long golden and silver hair fall about her figure, framing it and only making matters worse.

"Please, I need to leave now." She said wiggling in his grasp. "No you don't." He said nuzzling his face into her hair. "Release me," she said more firmly. He just laughed. The bar keeper was calling for guards. "Now." Nhie said jerking her golden eyes flashing with anger.

Vanai Jokai sat at a table in the far corner of the tavern with her legs crossed at the ankles looking as if she had fallen asleep sitting back slouching in the chair that she sat in but her ears constantly twitched to every new sound. Vanai was completely aware of her surroundings even without her eyes open....

There was a large mug sitting next to her on the tables rough surface from years of ware half empty. One of her violet colored eyes slowly cracked open and after a short second of looking around she opened it fully just so she could see clearly. She looked at the people at the bar then to the others that were scattered about.... Vanai smirked slightly her lips thin and pale but had more color than her face... She opened both her eyes completely and sat up a little straighter and picked up the mug and brought it to her lips as she surveyed everyone in the room looking for any possible threats to her but she didn't find any as of yet... She finished the contents of the mug and set it down pushing it away from her to let them know she was done with it... Vanai brushed black strands of hair from her eyes and tucked it behind her highly decorated ear.

Avion bit his lip as he saw the girl in harassment.She bit her lips and stormed over,blonde hair waving behind her."Let her go!"screeched Avion as she held the dagger to his neck,"Fool."Her grey,blue eyes burned into him as she pushed the dagger a bit harder.She wanted to slice his neck,it would feel so good.It was a bad habit though,the lust for killing.

"See." Sphen began whishing he'd not left his sword back at the inn. Swiftly he was to her aid, with a dagger out to the half orc's throat; he was ready to spring back at any given moment now. "I do believe she asked you to release her." He his eyes moved rapidly around the room watching the others intends in the bar, then realized he was not the only one with the same idea "No body needs to get hurt."

Avion looked at the man who had put his knife to the same man's throat at the same time.Aw,he's trying to be a hero.She smirked and released her dagger,"I'll let you finish him,if his drunken mind makes him act trivial."She smiled lightly,sliding her knife back in her boot.She took a step back and sat down,watching with intelligent eyes.

With the two daggers at his throat the man released Nhie breaking her spell. She stumbled forward towards the elf man's feet and jerked her hood up. The bar keep hobbled over to her helping her up. "I apologize, Lady Nhie. I really do." The cleric clung to him frightened but angry. She looked at the golden haired girl and the elven man. "Thank you for saving me." She said humbley.

Avion smirked,"Thank princed charming."she laughed,motioning to the male elf.She crossed her legs and put an arm on the table,and one on the chair back.Her grey,blue eyes flashed,as her golden locks cascaded down her shoulders.She started to fiddle with her armor and ran her fingers along the blue stones on her hand armors."The fighting here is trivial..."She sighed.

He's green eyes shifted to the other women holding a dagger. "Killing is not necessary." Sphen could see it in her eyes; she was ready to kill him. Yes he was a pig, but he was drunk and knows not what he dose...Well that's how Sphen wanted to think. He quickly twisted the blade around in his fingers nimbly. A smile came across his face, “But knocking someone out…” Sphen raised his hand back and struck the half orc in the back of the head, with the handle of the dagger. Being drunk, hitting him in this manner knocked him out cold.

Vanai casually walked out of the tavern yawning a bit when she saw that there was an orc and three others, and two had daggers to the orcs throat who was holding a woman. She sighed and shook her head as she casually walked over there and looked at them but she didn't say anything... her eyes flashed brighter as it got darker...

Vanai just shook her head and walked away her swords rattling the buckles of her belts that held the swords on her body... she looked back at them and studied them and shook her head again, "Some elves just don't know how to keep themselves out of trouble" she said in elvish since she spent most of her life raised by one... her mother... a very beautiful moon elf.... but that was long ago... she was on her own now....

Nhie looked at all the faces and released the inn keeper, who seemed disappointed, but Nhie didn't notice. She glanced at the Tiefling and her body trimbled with disgust and hate. She moved away from the woman her face, though hidden, angry and it's inhuman features twisted like she smelt something gross.

She moved up to the male elf and said, "Thank you...If it isn't too much trouble, may I ask your name?" She asked softly.

(I think I'm going to make another person....Hum.....Yes I am.)

The door to the tavern burst open and the large form of Goddard Fairas and his smaller wife Audrey moved into the common room just ahead of the guards the bar tender had called. "What's the problem here?" Boomed the Goddard's voice before the guards could even open their mouths. His wife and had arrived late to the city and were passing just as the call for guards came from the tavern.

After yet another futile day of searching Goddard was in the perfect mood for a fight. His large hands gripped the body-length sword he'd forged with his own hands, it was a formidable weapon even wrapped in leather as it was. As he glared around the room, challenging every gaze he met Audrey too surveyed the crowd, her emerald eyes appraising everyone, picking out where weapons could be hid and who looked the most dangerous.

Sphen smiled at the women he'd just helped out. "Sphen Yasfant, is my name, and yours is madam?" He pulled his hand under his cloak replacing the dagger back to its rightful place, and bowed his head to her.

The cleric smiled at the man, "Lady Nhie NightStaar." She jumped when the door slammed open and a very large man stomped in. He questioned them and she said, "I was attacked, but it was taken care of...Also, they are fighting. The orc started it though." She pointed to the fighting two.

Sphen turned his head to the people bursting into the tavern, his hand on his dagger, but relaxed seeing it was guards. Then his attention was drawn away by a loud "what"...Sphen was starting to regret coming in this bar.

Nhie glanced about in total dismay. She didn't want to be here any more. She moved over to collect her pack and moved out in speeds she shocked even herself. She looked back at the elven man reluctantly then with a sigh motioned to him.

Vanai heard her stomach growl and she herself growled as well.. She really didn't want to go back but she was hungry and who knows how long it would take before the next time she saw life and a place with food.... She pivoted on the heal of her boots and started to walk back towards the tavern mumbling to herself in a demonic language... Her father had died in a war long ago but he didn't go without teaching her things that were going to be useful in life...

She walked up the path that led up to the door of the tavern and she heard the smack that came out through the door that was still open... Cringing she shook her head as she walked back in and right past everyone and right to the bar.... she looked around for the barkeep... she was hungry and wasn't going to be patient... not after getting nasty glares... Its not like it was her fault that she was a Tiefling

In the blink of an eye Audrey was behind the orc the elven woman had indicated, a katar slipping around to his throat as she leaned on him almost companionably. "Now why would you be disturbing this tavern's peaceable evening?" She asked in a soothing voice, as though there was nothing strange about her holding a blade to his throat.

"Th-the human tripped me." He said, shaken by her sudden appearance. He had tried to twist to look at her but the blade at his throat discouraged movement.

At his explanation she slipped off him and stood next to her husband with the palm of the weapon hand against her chin and a mock pout. "And why would you do that?" She said in disappointed voice to the human. Goddard simply watched as his wife worked, he wouldn't get a fight now, but he couldn't help smiling none the less.

Carmon over hearing it couldn't help but chuckle, a deep rich sound as he approached her. "I'll help!" He said looking at the small daintily cloaked figure. "As a matter of facts (he's not smart) I'd love to help." He grinned.

Sitting back in the chair she yawned and looked around some more as she saw that elf that got caught by the orc scramble away and so did the male elf that helped save her so to speak... she shook her head at that thought, He wants her and he is going to go after her and try to get with her... but not right away.. never right away she snorted at the thought and looked at the food she was served and handed him the money before she started to eat... she didn't eat like she was starving but boy did she want to... she wasn't that evil... She did believe in proper manners to not eat like a starving wolf... that was gross

Nhie watched as the man removed his good and comfirmed her thoughts of him being an elf. Good. She nodded once and turned to the fight. With speed she stood and went over to stand so she could heal them. But it annoyed her that they'd fight over something this stupid!

"Please...Please stop." Nhie said softly. She was out of striking range but if the enraged orc turned he could hurt her. "Stop, this is petty!" She choked looking at the man then at the half orc. She watched the battle charge and looked around helplessly. No one cared. Fights where normal.

Most people stood and moved to different tables to eat in peace. Other stayed and watched the show.

As Amie still exchange blows and parrys with the half-orc. Amie's alertness quickly finds his weak spot, as he dashed around the seemingly neverending axe strike, he hit the half orc's stomach with the hilt of his sword. the half orc squatted down as he hold his painful stomach, as Amie quickly jumped above the half orc and delivered a stunning blow towards the half orc's head. The half orc sprawled on the tavern's floor, passed out from the blow.

Amie landed on the floor, sheathes his sword, and asked the barkeeper a large mug of ale as Amie seated on the chair. The barkeeper bring a large mug of ale and Amie quickly gulped mouthful of ale as he dried up his mouth with his hand.

As Amie switch views to the scared Elf, he said, "Thanks and no thanks". as Amie throws 5 gold pieces, picks up his sword and walked towards the exit. as Amie at the door, he turned his head towards the scared Elf and said 'We'll meet again, soon". as Amie vanished from the door.

Odyssa stepped into the bar, and immediately rolled her eyes at the current fight. She sat down at the bar, cheek in her palm as her elbow rested on the bar. "An ale is all," she muttered to the barkeeper. She sighed, glancing in the direction of the fight, mumbling, "Whatever injuries there are, I'm not going to heal them."

She thanked the barkeeper as her ale was brought, taking a small sip. She turned in her seat, watching the fight with bored eyes. Violence is everywhere nowadays, she thought.

She looked at him and nodded, "Alright. I am Lady Nhie NightStaar." She smiled at him. "Carmon." He rumbled his bear like form shaking with in held chuckles.

Audrey looked after the elven girl who said she had been saved, her eagerness to leave was quite natural but she seemed quite young for an elf. A male elf ran out after her at her request, yet the bottle of wine he grabbed made Audrey uncomfortable. She decided to slip out after the girl, the last thing she needed was to get hit on by a drunk. She laid a hand on her husband's arm and whispered, "I'm going to check on that elf, get yourself some ale and try to stay out of trouble." They both knew the last part was mostly a jest; Goddard was very peaceable when there was no reason to fight.

She stayed in the shadows as she followed the young elf, the girl might want to actually be with the other elf and might not like Audrey interrupting. When they stopped the rogue stayed just out of sight and listened. It sounded like the girl was recruiting him for something and at the mention of the Shadow Plane Audrey knew she'd found a lead on the creatures that had destroyed Goddard and her home.

She hung back a longer as a man even larger than her husband appeared on the scene. Yet he seemed friendly enough, if a bit slow. As the girl gushed at their offers for help Audrey approached from behind the elven girl, her black clad form seeming to materialize from the dark, and gently laid a hand on her shoulder. "This Shadow Plane, it's the source of these shadow creatures roaming the land is it not?"

Seeing the two burley men,Avion's palamino backed a bit away in trembling fear.Avion leaned down and whispered words of comfort to the horse in a thick,elven accent.The horse came forward again and waited patiently.Avion let out a deep sigh and looked at all the figures in a studying way.Her blonde hair fell forward and she took one hand up to smooth it back.
Her blue,grey eyes darted a bit and then settled on the girl,accepting her offers graciously.

Nhie jumped when the woman appeared from no where, hand on her mace. "Oh..." She listened to the woman noting she showed no threat what-so-ever. "Yes. The Key needs to close the Portal to the Shadow Plane but if evil get's the Key it can keep the door open for good." Carom bristled at the news, "Then we need to find it!" He roared. Nhie flinched, "Please...No need to talk so loud..." He flushed, "I apologize."

She smiled then looked at the woman, "If you and your compain wish to help I will agree. I need all the help I could get." She smiled softly, though the red headed female couldn't see it under the hood, her voice showed it easily. She felt proud she had found so many people so easily. Almost made her want to cry, almost.

(It's thundering. I need to go. I may be back tomorrow even though it is Sunday, but I am not leaving till three. So yeah. If you want, while I am away have it that you are going to stay in the town for a while, to rest up and get supplise. Please don't leave me too far behind.)

Audrey nodded at the news. "My husband and I would be more than glad to assist. A town we were defending near the Spine of the World was destroyed a while back and we've been looking for a way to pay them back." Her emerald eyes glittered in the moonlight as she spoke, a mixture of sadness and happiness from the memory of her home and the knowledge that they would soon be avenged in some way. "I'll tell Goddard, let us know when you wish to leave." She said, flashing a smile to the elven woman and vanishing into the night again.
