"And now, we will witness the famous Ariel Hinders show us how it's really done." the announcer named Robert beamed into the mircophone with a smile that dazzled all across his sun bathed face. He pushed down his dark sunglasses to cover his eyes and the crowds gathered around the beach let out cries of cheer and yells from "Go Ariel!"s to "I love you!"s.
A dark red haired girl black streaks and tops smiled, waving at the cheering fan. She held her black surfboard with red flames decorating the tip edge and wore a red bikini with black capries that went to her knees that had a chain attached to it that glittered in the bright sun.
"All right! Lets go, Lil' Mermaid!" the announcer in his blue shirt with red hawaiian flowers printed on it shouted out with his "announcer cheer". Ariel nodded, turned to the sea with it's wild waves then looked back at her adoring fans and gave them the wink and peace sign that made them go crazy.

She ran out into the water then laid out on her board, paddling towards the waved, but stopped when she reached her waiting spot and waited for the right wave to come. Then, there it was, forming a macho killer! A smirk formed across her lips and her eyes that matched the ocean's water glittered with excitement. She rose to her feet, leaping onto her board.
"Ariel!"
Ariel felt herself being lifted up by the have and her happy grin grew brighter.
"Ariel...? Ariel!"
Ariel went back to look to see who was calling out her name with an almost confused tone at first then went off balance and crashed into the water.


- End of Daydream -


"Ariel!"
Ariel's eyes grew wide as she woke from her daydream and looked around her classroom to see all the desks empty and her friend, Alessa, standing in the doorway. "Ariel, c'mon! Are you just going to sit there all summer vacation?!" Alessa said while trying not to laugh when Sarah got to her side to see her daydreaming friend waken to reality. "Oh! The bell's rang all ready?!" Ariel said in alaram, fumbling her backpack before rusing to the door. "Daydreaming about boards and boys again... weren't you?" Keira questioned, grinning happily as the three friends walked down the hall. "Maybe... but with a different type of board and the main... er... guy in my little space-y-ness was not the type you'd wanna date." Ariel answered with a little disgusted look at the thought, making Aless give a confused look.
"What...? We're not going to spend every day at the skate park, flirt with all the guys to make Rick and Seth insanely jealous, burp with the boys during our DrPepper breaks, and gain new scars?!"

Ariel let out a laugh. "This year's going to be different..." she told the dark brown haired girl with a smile. "How different, Ari...?" Keira asked, arching a brow. "This year we're going to Hawaii... on our own.". Alessa and Keira's eyes grew wide with surprise. "Are y-you serious?! Hawaii?! On our OWN?!" the two spat out at the same time, making Ariel draw back a little with amazement.

"Well, not exactly on our own..., but technically speaking-..." Ariel began and Alessa gave her the "what's the catch?" look as Keira put her hands on her hips. "... Don't tell me your dad's coming with us like he did that one year to Six Flags then totally embarassed us with the whole 'Ya'll aren't going to start ya'll's period any time soon, are you?' right when we were talking to those guys, is he?!" Keira asked quickly and Ariel let out a laugh after saying, "No."

"Okay, well, my cousin is the one who's letting us stay with her, but she's always out on dates or sleeping from all-nighters and when she's not doing either she's usually getting more dates or at her job! Trust me, I know her! We're basically alone the whole time and she live in an awesome beach house right where all the surfers are! And she doesn't ever care what I do!" Ariel exclaimed quickly, making a smile form across their lips once again.

"Oh my God! I love you! Thank you for being my best friend!" Alessa shouted out, hugging Ariel tightly, practically tackling her to a bunch of lockers as Keira laughed. "Yo! Ari! Aless! Kei!" the trio heard a familiar voice shout out and they looked to see Rock running down the hall with Seth close behind and skateboards in their hands. "Hey, should we meet today or tommorow...? I, personally, would rather it be today." Rick said with a grin from ear-to-ear. "Today, of c-..." Keir and Alessa began, but Ariel stpped in with, "We can't... We've got to pack 'cuz we're leaving tommorow for our vacation trip.". Seth gave a surprised look. "Vacation... trip...? But, ya'll usually don't go on one until the mid of summer... But, you'll be back after a week, right?".

"No... We're staying in Hawaii for the whole summer." Ariel told the boys with a "sorry" look. Seth then looked at Rick and, for some odd reason, he nodded at Seth with a smile. "Okay then... Then there's only one thing we can do..." Rick said with a sigh as he rubbed the back of his neck. "And what's that...?" Keira asked, placing her hands on her hips. "Help you girls pack." Rick answered with a huge grin.


- At Ariel's House -


"So... Where in Hawaii are you staying...?" Rick ask as Seth and him sat on Ariel's bed after running to Keira and Alessa's places to grab their stuff that their parents had already packed for them. "You know were the Wave Crash tourament is alway held...? Well, my cousin lives not that far from there." Ariel answered as she stuffed her bathing suits into her suitcase. "Oh really...? So you'll be able to go and watch the tournament?" Seth asked with his innocent look and blonde hair shining in the light above him. He was such a fake innocent when he was around Rick.

"No... I plan on being in it." Ariel answered with a smirk, making Alessa drop the book she was looking at. "Whoa, whoa, whoa... Being in it, Ari? Like, competing and stuff...?" Keira questioned with a surprised look as well. "What..? It can't be that different from skateboarding... And Dad paid for us to get some lessons..." Ariel answered in an innocent tone like it wasn't that big of a shock.
"Ariel... You can't be serious... I know you have alot of confidence... but... THIS IS ON TELEVISION!" Rick told with wide eyes, sitting up to look at her. "I know... And I plan not to make a fool of myself..." she said with a shrug then looked at the T.V and gasped.

"Oh my God! It's Lucy Jinks! Turn it up!" she shouted out and Rick jumped then turned the volume up for everyone to hear an interveiw with an unfamiliar girl in a hunter green bathingsuit and dirty blonde hair.

"So, Lucy... How are you and your new team getting along?" the man who's name was actually Robert and looked exactly like the man in Ariel's daydream asked Lucy and she smiled, moving her hand to her hair. "Well, we're doing great, actually... Everyone's super motivated and very supportive. I'm really happy with them." she answered with her emerald eyes glittering in the sunlight. "Well, there you have it folks. Lucy's making it great at her new home and we look forward to seeing them compete in this year's Wave Crash : A New Mix.".

Rick grinned. "... She's kinda cute." he said then Ariel whipped around and threw her pair of jeans in her hands at him. His eyes grew wide when they hit him and he looked at her in confusion.
"What...?! What'd I say?!"


- To Wave Catchers -


"What did you say?!" Lucy shouted out with her green eyes wide. "You heard me, princess... We're leaving!" Brittny growled before pushing Lucy out of the door way with Camren, Lauren, and Brandy behind her. The four walked out of the door without another word, leaving Lucy to tear up as Coach walked over to her and rubbed her arms to comfort her. "It's all right... It's all right, Luc..." he said in his calm voice but she shook her head. "No, no it's not! Without the team the how can we compete?!" she shouted out with warm tears running down her now reddened cheeks.

"We'll get a new one..." he assured her, kissing her forehead like a father would. "No... No we won't..."

- The Plot -

Okay, this is based off a popular Surfer Series of mine that I've been writing for awhile. It's about three best friends who leave their skate park and skater boys behind for a summer of beaches, tanned boys, hawaiian food, and surf boards, but Hawaii's alot different from what they're used to.
All the girls have sun kissed skin and model-like appearances and all the boys are drop-dead gorgeous with their ripped chests and talents with surfing.
Practically no one skateboards and surfing was alot different from what Ariel had thought it would be. It was like skateboarding, but the ride fought back, but due to the skater's stubborn personalities they soon picked up the tricks.

And during their stay, luck isn't changing much for Lucy Jinks who hasn't found much luck in forming a new team and with the tourament growing closer, everything seems more lost every second, but when Coach Collins sees these skateboarders ripping up a drained pool that was abandoned awhile back due to the hotel closing from financal problems hope started to form.
He kept his eyes on these three light colored skinned girls who were clearly not from Hawaii and practically spied on them, watching them chase eachother around on the beach, watch boys jogg around the beach, play around in the water, and, then, surf.
With just a little bit of coaching he could have some champions there and with their skateboarding talents then they might have a chance... but this would mean them staying perminately at Hawaii...

And what happens when relationships form between some of the surfer boys and suddenly some unexpected visitors come to shock and be suprised.
How will these three friends make it through the pressure of preparing for the Wave Crash while trying to stay tight and deal with the drama of boys, competision, finding another team member and being able to make enough money to keep them on their feet?

- Characters -

Ariel Hinders {Chaos Angel} - A confident girl with a wild style who dreams big and sets her goals high. She believes anyone can do anything, or atleast she can, as long as they put their minds to it. She's headstrong and stubborn and refuses to ever give into anything or anyone. She's been best friends with Alessa since 3rd grad when the goof-ball Alessa took Ariel and made her the crazy girl she is now than the serious kid she was back then. She's also had the biggest crush on Rick since 8th grade, but that was a well kept secret from... well, him since everyone else seemed to know. They did date for awhile after Keira hooked them up, but things just didn't work out when they never kissed... they were just too big of buddies.
She has a talent with the skateboard and has always wanted to become a proffesional surfer ever since she was flipping through channels and saw the famous Brittny Uninon rip up the waves and nobody knew of this except for her cousin and that's how Ariel scored the vacation.

Alessa Rasberry {Insane Punk} - The goofiest out of the group. She's always cracking jokes and giving this little scream when something happens that always makes people laugh. She tends to be a little hyper at time then it can change within a second to calm and almost scary. She's been friends with Ariel since grade school and they've been unseparatable and when Ariel finally found Keira when she transfered to their school in fifth grade the trio as tied tight. She has a huge crush on the white blonde, Seth and both of her friends know this, but she'd kill them if they told, but she'd go after any boy with a sense of humor and good looks.

Keira Tylorten {LillyPadDooDa} - She's the type of girl who's always best friend with all the boys, but her two best friends are Ariel and Alessa. She's always up for a challenge and is adventurous and wild. She met Ariel during recess in fifth grade when Ariel was climbing in a tree and she mistook her for an actual monkey. They were like peas and carrots after words due to her obsession to The Little Mermaid and Ariel's similiar appearance to the Disney Character.

Lucy Jinks - A famous new surfer girl who was just signed with Wave Catcher. She was looking forward to Wave Crash when, suddenly, her team members just quit all because of her sudden rush of fame. She became famous of the one rookie that took everyone by storm and that caused her teammates to lower in their interveiws and grow insanely jealous so they decided to drop her hard and give people a new story on the rookie.

Coach Collins {Chaos Angel} - A famous surfer who retired after winning the championships for the thirteenth time. He's like a father to his team and looks after Lucy since she left California just to surf for him. He has a big secret that he'll never tell anyone, but maybe one person... and only one other person knows.

Surfer Instructor - A boy who was giving the girls surfing lessons then started to tease Ariel after she tried to take things on with confidence. He finds Ariel reckless and adorable due to her stubborn nature and rebelious ways with her style to her attitude to her veiw of things so he often keeps teasing her just to get on her nerves and for his entertainment.

Rick - A skater boy with a wild and crazy mind. He likes to flirt with almost every girl, but can't seem to stop with Ariel. They dated awhile back, but they both decided to just be friends since it was a little awkward and they never kissed or held hands.

Seth - A sweet boy who's got white blonde hair and emerald eyes. He's really pale and skates just like Rick. They've been friends ever since Rick moved to their school and has been friends with Ariel and Alessa since third grade as well. He's not actually as quiet and innocent as he is around Rick, but he's actually a big pervert who's NOT a virgin.

When I finally landed I just came out with a bruise on my hip, scrape on my elbow, and a big tear in my jeans with my skateboard snapped in half, under me...

They laughed too 'cuz when I got up I just looked around like I didn't know where I was and was like, "That was not how I imagened it and how it was suppose to be...".))

Me and a couple of my guy friends: Gerry, Ron and Zaine; went to the skatepark in Dallas cause the one in Wylie was closed down. So we got there and we started skating and having a good ol' time. I was probably as good as Gerry and he'd been skating way longer, so I was proud of myself.

There was this Super-Ramp in the back and only the really good skaters went and tried it. He dared me to go and do it and -knowing me- I did it. It was really high up, about 30 feet high. I was scared, but Gerry had done this before and I wanted to beat him. So, I positioned my board, gave him one last look and went.

I did pretty good the first time...it was a pretty good rush. Now, when I got to the other side, I did a 360 Ollie in the air. My skateboard came out from under me and I feel forty feet onto the bottom of the ramp. I landed on my ankles and broke both of them and both of my thigh bones cracked in half. It was the WORST PAIN I've EVER felt in my life...It hurt so bad I whited out.

The doctors told my dad that if my bones had cracked just a little more, I'd be paralyzed for the rest of my life. Well, I didn't land that way, and I had surgery. I can't skate anymore because of my ankles...and I always get these sharp pains in my thigh bones from it.

They even had a camera that watches the skaters from above for good footage and they caught my fall while they were zoomed in. You could hear the -crack- of my ankles and bones when I hit. I barf everytime I see the tape...))

Keira bit her lip and looked out the window, chuckling softly as Ariel surfed. She turned sadly and stared at the bathing suit she had laid out on the bed. "Ugh...god." She said disguestedly, holding it out. It was the smallest bathing suit she'd ever seen and she guessed it left little to the imagination.

She sighed and changed into it, looking at herself in the mirror. Well, her midnight black hair didn't clash with the bright red color, but she couldn't help but look at her thighs and groan. She actually looked pretty good, but she was always wearing jeans and band T-shirts, hanging out with Rick and Sean and skating her life away. She sighed and bit her lip ring, grabbing her cover up. "Oh well..." She mumbled, walking out of the room.

Preston leaned against his tropical-themed surf board, colored with deep blues and greens as it was stuck down into the sand. He was watching with a very amused expression a red head that was pummeled by a renegade wave. He felt him self laugh out loud as he noticed just how bad she really was at it. Wrapping his fingers around either side of his surf board, he pulled it out of the sand, and held it tightly under his left arm as he walked out to the ocean.

He paddled out until he was sure the red head would have been able to hear him, he then straddled his board, letting the waves pass beneath him. "Need help?" Preston asked with an oh so priceless co.cky expression.
