The world, a nexus of powerful emotion and flowing senses between the living beings that inhabit it. There are so many things that are questionable in this world, this vast open collection of lands and waters coming together to create this existence. Everyday the children go to school and learn what they will, within whichever area they were born. The lands have been separated into three Kingdoms, each with villages throughout their bounds that thrive on their own with a moderate amount of rule from their Lords. This land is called Auroan, and it’s power is originated from the insects of burning life; The Fireflies.
Every night the sky fills with the scattered lights of fireflies burning brightly at their bulbs. They fly from Kingdom to kingdom in an never ending cycle. Every month at the ceremony to the sky, these bright bodied insects are praised for their light, which leads travelers and merchants safely in the darkness of the night. Every traveler knows about the migration cycle of the fireflies.
But these events that are in motion were said to be set in the past a very long time ago. As legends says, back in the times of old when the three nations were at war, there was a band of seven mighty warriors that united the common folk under one banner and suppressed the war between the Lords. They also released the blessing of the Fireflies upon the land for all to use. Each Warrior was the wielder of a weapon forged in the depths of Burning Sky Mountain by the master weapon smith Honkuo.
With the blessing of the Lord of Fireflies, he was granted the power to decide the fate of the Kingdoms. Either he’d use the power to take over, or divide fate into the hands of seven brave warriors. Being the wise and honorable man he was, he chose to seek out the seven and create the weapons that would divide Fate and harness the power of the fireflies. This power was rooted in the mold of time, constantly revolving in the anchor of the universe. The Symbol of existence was in fact the Firefly. So each weapon would be created by a Memory of the Worlds life.
After finding his warriors and forging the weapons, he sent them out by his good will, and with the power of the fireflies they accomplished their task. Once they returned to Burning Sky Mountain they found that the Master Weapon Smith went missing and all that was left was the Crest of the Lord of Fireflies. Each laid their weapon upon the crest and left to live their lives peacefully. It’s been many years since these events became legend, and it seems that there is a sudden unrest in the kingdom. Outsiders have come by sea to the land of Auroan, with the intent to take over the rule of the three Kingdoms and will stop at nothing to take hold. The time has come to call upon seven more warriors and have them take upon themselves the Seven Weapons; The Seven Memories of the Fireflies. This way they can bring the nations together to stop this attack upon their homeland.
Information Regarding Several things:
The Fireflies: The Fireflies of Auroan are no normal insects. They hold the immense power of the world within themselves, and are the symbol for life and energy. They are the source of magic in this land, and this magic can be harnessed by several ways like praying, chanting, and even combining it with one’s inner force making it come into reality. The power of the Fireflies is everywhere but becomes more powerful on the nights when they migrate. Though casting such spells with this energy takes mental focus and energy, and other inputs to be able to wield such power
The Seven Memories: Each of the Seven Memories have a power related to a distinct time in the world’s history. For example, a Memory called the Tide Moon would have flowing characteristics and the ability to control water and gravity to an extent. Of course this Memory would be when the moon was bonded with the Worlds gravity. Each Memory has it’s own uniqueness, no two Memories are exactly alike.
Effects of the Seven Memories: As a warrior learns to wield one of the weapons, he or she will start to relive the past of one of the original Seven Heroes as well as become one with the world around them. As they progress with becoming one with their Memory, the power of their Memory becomes fuller and more mature, meaning more powerful.
The Task of the Seven Memories: (First of all, all the warriors must be chosen) To get all of the Kingdoms to renew the alliance of old, and to strike down the heart of the invasion.
Auroan: This is a vast land divided into the three Kingdoms; Arceola, Klau Mous and Rinbenki. Arceola is a nation built on stone, water and steel, they are a Kingdom that would look more or less like Mid evil Europe. They have many Farming villages as well as vast Castles and Bridges over the Rivers that flow from the mother city Aquaina. They have the most powerful Armored Knights in the land, though they are heavy. They have forests and plains in this land, and are proficient at laying siege and heavy enforcement.
Klau Mous is the nation of entertainment and spectacle. They have many casinos and other questionable areas that are more or less for leisure. Almost like a nation of Circus Performers, they are mostly a fun loving and acrobatic, if not a stern and heavily strong peoples who retain more to the Indian and Hindu like culture. Where Arceloa would have Halberds and Broad Swords Klau Mous would hand Scimitars and Throwing daggers as well as some gun powders (Crude to say the least). They are a nomadic people, only a few cities are built in stone and wood, but because Klou Mous is a wide desert area they use the sand as they’re cover.
Rinbenki is a nation of discipline and honor, one that has built it’s own tradition in training all citizens in some form of martial art or weapon wielding. They have buildings similar to that of Feudal Japan and Dynasty age China and Korea. They are a respectful and well taught people, the Sword Smith Hankuo was born in this kingdom, and this is the kingdom where Burning Sky Mountain creates the line between there and Klau Mous. They are diverse in there areas of training, but nothing to heavy in the armor aspect. Every last person here down to the very farmers of the villages know how to defend themselves, and hence with the discipline there is a low crime rate.
The Invaders: A massive armada of warships from another land has landed around the nation in several key points, and these invaders seem so diverse themselves. They come from a far away Kingdom called Lesterna, and the King of Lesterna; Lord Culbrin has sent out his son Prince Seneth to lead them to victory. These Lesternians are well rounded in there armaments and tactics as well as very diverse in race, size and color, quite literally. One would ask where they found all these different peoples. One could only respond that the world was most vast then they thought.
Passable Races and Examples from this world:
No futuristic things here, so no androids or robots. Duh. Go with mythical references if you wish, or just fantasy. But remember that humans are a big part of this world.
Make sure the racial traits are evened out.
A few examples:
Magus: Humans who are connected to the Lord of the Fireflies, they have the ability to call upon insect-like wings to carry them and they have direct access to casting spells instantly at the cost of more mental and physical energy.
Twilight Vampire: Vampires who dwell in the day as well as night, who can heal and give off energy during the day time as well as fight with dark power and speed at night. The only families left are Lioncrest and Ravenwing. (See my Sample character Ghalion)
Ghost Oni: A race of demon that has the ability to phase through objects, but only for a limited time. Their magic is based on the two flames of Spectral Phenomenon; The White Flame and the Black Flame. Usually Ghost Oni specialize in one of the two, but there are a few with the ability or potential to become one with both. These people are called ‘The Masked Ones’ due to the mask they seem to gain as they get stronger, almost like another part of their face (Which appears when they are using their power).

~ADDED INFO~
The Black Flame Retains to the Darker side of the Ghost Oni power, which is about Shadows and Darkness, Persuasion and Deception. Black Fire. The White flame retains to the Lighter side, Which is manipulation and refraction/reflection of light, Illusions and Light based energy outputs. White Fire.
Elementalia: The Elementals of Auroan that come in a few different varieties. There are the Sand Eli’s of Klous Mous, the Wind Eli’s of Arceola and the Fire Eli’s of Rinbenki. They each has control over that specific element directly through nature, though the Fireflies are the power that maintains such elements in nature. Even then only the eldest or brightest of the Eli’s have major power potential.
Sample Character Sheet (plus info):
I would like to ask that the seven positions of the Seven Memories be taken up first, unless you want to have a part of another kind of character. If you’d like to have an important role in the story just PM me. Also, as stated above, each Memory cannot have an exact double, so there can’t be for example; Two separate fire manipulating swords with the Memory of the World’s Molten rock coming together. Try to be creative with your Memory. Remember that it grows with your character. Also on that note, racial traits that give your character boosts should also be spread out and balanced. Look at my character for example.

Race:
Racial traits: (What your race has/ special things about it)
Memory’s Name and Description: (This includes it’s powers, It’s retaining Memory and a physical description. Also note here if your character has yet to find his or her Memory.)
Appearance:
History and status w/ Origin Kingdom: (Give me good stuff please.)
Personality:

Sample Character(s):
Name: Ghalion Lioncrest ( Ghali or Leo for short.)
Age: Along the lines of 2000 years.
Gender: Male
Race: Twilight Vampire (One of the last few of his kind.)
Racial traits: (These are to be developed throughout the RP. At the beginning he has the Healing, the Strength and the Mist Bat form, but they are all primitive in maturity.)
Vampire Strength: Only during the Night, he has ‘semi super strength’. This means he could crack rock, but it would take a lot to rip steel.
Vampire Regeneration: Only during the night when no sun touches his skin, he regenerates 5 times faster then a normal human. (This takes his personal energy reserves.)
Vampire Hypnosis: During the day and night, he can ‘persuade’ the average mind with his influence. (Think Jedi mind trick. Lol)
Twilight Aura: Only during the day, he can emanate an aura of his own energy upon those around him, giving them a boost in morale and faster regeneration. (About 1.5 x Normal human regeneration rate.)
Healing Magic: As weird as it seems, his race of Vampire can harness the Healing Light of the firefly magic unlike other vampire races, but only during the day time or when some fireflies are around in the night.
Vampire Senses: His senses of sight and hearing are heightened, but this effect is halved during the day.
Mist Bat Form: By separating himself into separate pieces of (Twilight) life force he can travel fast in the form of a swarm of bat shaped energy waves. This greatly tires him in the long run.
Memory’s Name and Description:
Desolate Dragon: A long bastard sword with a pitch black blade, the hilt swirls out a little ways and twists down into a gnarled metal cross right before the tough black leather hilt. This is the Memory of when the world was being shaped by the powerful pull of gravity, the barren wasteland where life would begin. It symbolizes renewal of silence, the time ticking after a powerful push of force. This sword has the power to overcome gravity and manipulate it in such a way it can be thrown or lifted. Not only as such, it has the power over vibrations in the air as well, either roaring it into a lash of pure power or steadying everything around creating the silence of a new dawn.
Appearance:

History and status w/ Origin Kingdom:
Ghalion is of a family of Vampires that somehow can harness the powers of the Fireflies to bring life and not just take it away. Because they stalk the night and the day they are called the Vampires of the Twilight. Though the other vampire clans were jealous of their abilities and hence hunted them down. The only remaining Twilight Vampires are of the Lioncrest and Ravenwing Houses which have been in hiding for a very long time, ever since before the days of the Legendary Seven when they took hold of the Seven Memories.
But this is where Ghalion comes into play, unbeknownst to anyone alive, Ghalion was one of the Original Seven Warriors that stopped the great war. After the alliances were made, and the Seven Memories were set to rest he was also set to rest on Burning Sky Mountain. He chose to sleep until the Seven Memories might be needed once more, so he could guide those who have been chosen by the Lord of Fireflies.
In his past he had traveled to all the lands of Auroan and knows his way around (anything that hasn‘t changed too much). He had been the second in command in the Original group of seven, though his strength was one of the highest, his mind was not that of a leader until he realized what the true meaning of wielding one of the Seven Memories was. Still asleep in his stone coffin upon Burning Sky Mountain, he is about to awake to the world and quest to find the other six destined to wield the other Memories.
Because of his long sleep, his connection with his Desolate Dragon had been weakened and his vampiric strength and attributes have also been lessened. Never the less he intends to do his job and unite the Seven Memories once more, hence becoming one with his Desolate Dragon once more as well.
Personality: Some may call him creepy, cold, enclosed or very independent. But being around for a over two millennia has taught him to be independent and self sufficient. Though as cold and serious he may seem, he had learned his lesson that long while ago and from then on swore to live an honorable life. He does what he must, yet can be lost in his very vast past at times. As said before, he rarely smiles, and when he does it means there is either something very funny in his midst or that there is something to be truly happy about.
NPCs::: ~Two Characters that someone can use~
#1
Name: Lord Theous Culbrin
Age: 42
Gender: Male
Race: Demon (Shape shifter)
Racial traits:
Shift Appearance: The ability to take on the appearance of another in his sight, as long as he gets a good look at him or her he can take the same shape as any person. This though, not only copies their looks but also some of their racial traits and specialties. He can also take the form of monsters or animals, near perfectly.
Lestern Magic: A magic unknown to the people of Auroan, it involves similar rituals but varies in use much more (or so it would seem) then Firefly magic. This involves the use of a channeling object like a paper talisman or an orb usually.
Memory’s Name and Description: None, isn’t one of the Seven Chosen.
Appearance:
http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p217/bobbob_020/200610.jpg
History and status w/ Origin Kingdom: Lord of Lesternia, and the proud warlord of the Great Sea and the Far Off lands, he has gained much territory in the world and rules over many. Though he has his sights on Auroan, and will try everything in his power to take the lands as his and harness the ‘Great Power’ of the Fire flies.
Personality: He is a greedy, cunning, and easily angered man who hungers even more power then he already has (which is a lot). He cares only for a few things, his life, his power and some say his son. Nobody knows what happened to his wife though.
#2
Name: Prince Seneth Culbrin
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Race: Half Demon (shape shifter)
Racial traits:
Shift Appearance: The ability to take on the appearance of another in his sight, as long as he gets a good look at him or her he can take the same shape as any person. This though, not only copies their looks but also some of their racial traits and specialties. He can also take the form of monsters or animals, near perfectly. Unlike his father, he can only be almost perfect in his guises and can only hold shape for so long before he must revert back to his normal blue skinned state.
Appearance:
http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p217/bobbob_020/AnimeDemon.jpg
History and status w/ Origin Kingdom: He is the o of Lord Theous Culbrin, successor to his throne and his power. He grew up in the fires of steel and war around him, learning to be the next greatest Warlord for when his father dies. He is all ready to take his place and usually never leaves the area generally around his father. A skilled warrior and mage, he is ready to go to any lengths to expand his father’s territory and thus spread his own.
Personality: Like his father he hungers power, but he takes more time to think things through when he can, unlike his father. He is a very intelligent and dry person, who’s laughter is rarely heard. Serious in all manner, but still somewhat ‘clingy’ to his father.
~Note~
As a final note, if you are having issues about racial traits and Memory creation, just look at my character Ghalion, and if you need more help don't be afraid to PM me. Also I will need maybe one or two Co-GMs. We'll see as the Sign Ups go on.

ooc: hear ill give you a few,

Phoenix of the Dreamless Slumber: A tall poleaxe with a massive axe blade on one end (its as big as Flagrare's torso). Its menacing twists and hooks are softed by a small painting of a crying eye in the center. Everyday, the eye opens as the sun rises and and then closes as its set until, at midnight the blade catches fire and dissipates unto dust until a moment later it reappears in Flagrares hand. The Phoenix draws power from Rebirth, Renewal and the Cyclical nature of life. Unfortunatly that means the wielders soul is essential reborn every day

Aerelon: A twin set of hook swords with an especially elaborate setup of blades on the hilt. The swords are treated as one due to the fact that they're most easily used and meant to be used as a pair. This Memory recalls the time before the winds were harnessed. This sword has some control over the winds, allowing for gentle breezes or cutting gusts. This sword has no control over storms, except in being able to alter their direction.

Rage of the Fallen Angels: Rage takes the form of a broadsword with a black hilt that goes between the pommel which has a red, spherical jewel, to the cross guard that looks like a tuning fork with the blade between that. The blade is thin and gets wider after the tuning-fork-crossguard. The ability of Rage is to change shape into other weapons like a lance, axe, etc. Rage reflects the memory of evolution of creatures from bacteria and single-celled organisms to the creatures they are now and how they adapted. Just as animals adapted to the elements of nature, Rage can use other elements of nature and can control them to a lesser extent than the memory of that element(example: can create a small shockwave of wind). Rage is named after a myth that says when angels fell from the heavens, they turned into animals. Rage's true form is the red jewel.

Mourning Sun: A spear reaching about 50 inches in length and its blade is more or less a sword. It can reach up to 20 inches and can be removed from the base spear. The spear was made for easy moverablity and ability to throw it like a javalin. The handle of the spear is black and gold ends at the end of the butt of the spear is a ring of diamonds and black onxies. The blade was made of silver with a harden cover. There is a white emblem of fire engraved right before the balde of the spear. This is the memory when the world was under chaos of war. It shows the time when each person had hatered and fear one anothers heart. The spear has the power to congure fire and can manipulate it to defend or attack. It also can call upon lava from the core of the earth.

Predators Past: This memory is of the predator hunting the prey in the time before human control. it enjoys freedom and symbolises the cycle of life and the food chain. it looks like a double sided polearm, about the length of Colm's armspan. on either side it has a modified wolfs jaw attatched, perfect for swiping and jabbing. all down the smooth wooden shaft (made of ash-tree) there are some of the longest most brutal wolf claws stuck out at beautiful angles in a sort of tribal pattern. this stops the enemy from grabbing the polearm and disarming the weilder.

ooc: is that better?

Name: Tirzah
Age: 210
Gender: female
Race: vampire
Racial traits:
hypnosis- She can suggest humans to do almost anything; the only limits are that she cannot defy true love or make the person kill himself.
invisiblity: Now you see me, now you don't. Tirzah has always had fun with this; she can make all or part of herself dissapear. This takes a fair amount of he engery and she must sleep within two hours after she returns to visiblity or she just passes out.
bat form: She can change into a bat, but she doesn't like it; it makes her feel clostraphobic. It took her a while to master this skill, getting her cloths to transform with her was the biggest (and most embarassing) challange.
light-speed: She can't go as fast as light (physicly it's impossibl) but she can come really close! She can only go on five second stints, taking a lot of energy.
transfermation- She can turn humans into vampires; by vampiric law she has to take in and teach the vampire; but she's never turned anyone.
Memory’s Name and Description: Phoenix of the Dreamless Slumber: A tall poleaxe with a massive axe blade on one end (its as big as Flagrare's torso). History and status w/ Origin Kingdom: 210 years ago Tirzah was a magican's assistant in one of Klau Mous's only cities- Trezuit. One late night show a strange looking man sat in the front row; he never laughed or smiled. This was great fodder for her boss who at the audence participation part of the show picked the man, made fun of him and preformed a few embaresing tricks. The last tirck of the show our "good budy" was called back up for the grand fannaly, a trick where Tirzah goes into a box and "cut in half," then the selected audence member thouches her to see if she's real. Then poof! Smoke encloses the stage, applause eachoes through the room. as the smoke clears Tirzah graces the stranger by hugging him. More applause and laughter fill the room, the man clentches his theeth. Tirzah back away as the magicain bellows a few magic words, she explodes into fireflies, more applause. When the fireflies came together Tizrah re-appeared with the magican and bows as streames and music dazzle the crowd. Finally the man smiled. Tirzah caught his eye as the grin grew upon his face, she winked. Then unbarred his teeth, Tirzah's smile faded as she pushed away from her boss who stood motionless. The vampire jump and killed the magican ruthlessly. The crowd ran out histaricly as the vampire turned to Tizrah; she grabbed one of swords used in the show and stared at her attacker. Wrong move, he performed some magic on her. He made her dance to him and present her neck. Inside she fought the outside power, but his force was too great. His teeth sank into her neck and he drank his fill. Then he turned her in the empty hall and ran away. Now she's a night dancer; which means she entertains people of all ages (not just older men). Her vampire skills mesmerize all, but she is sure to hid her true form.
Personality: She always wears a genunie smile; if she's not something is really wrong. She has a beautiful laugh that sounds like chimes and is a sincerely joyful person. She loves her job but misses the day time. Because she is a normal vamp she cannot go into the light. She is unaware of the Twilight vampires. She can me mischiveouse but does have good intensions.

Name: Aria
Age: 19
Gender: Girl
Race: Twilight Vampire
Racial traits:
Healing Magic: As weird as it seems, his race of Vampire can harness the Healing Light of the firefly magic unlike other vampire races, but only during the day time or when some fireflies are around in the night.
Vampire Senses: His senses of sight and hearing are heightened, but this effect is halved during the day
Siphon: if her left hand touchs his opponent she will absorb their life to heal her own, however if he doesn't touch her opponent before the energy dissipates she will be harmed.
Memory’s Name and Description:
Ice Dragon Tide: A katana with a blade of sapphire hue and a mystical blue aura. It's handle is wrapped in a flowing durable blue steel silk and is easy to wield almost flowing like water itself. This blade is the Memory of when the line between when the world hadn't a sun to warm it, and when the sun had come into existence, setting the waters free across the young planet. Because of it's connection to the extreme cold and the awesome flow, it allows it's wielder to call upon water from wherever and wield it as she wishes. Not only so, but the wielder can change the water's state of matter, allowing the wielder to freeze or vaporise it and user it as he wills. With a little help from the fireflies it can bring water into existence as well for it's uses.
Appearance:

History and status w/ Origin Kingdom:
Aria was the school's freak. Not for social reasons, it was her interest and different ways of looking at things. Plus, she was never ordered around, unless there was an authority figure. However, when she finished school, she wanted to capture a Firefly for it's beauty and power. It wasn't an obsession; just a dream of hers. In the meantime she does chants and other methods of getting magical power from them. Being around for so long really taught her things, so she definitely knows what to do when she is being upstanded. Her residence is in Rinbenki in a Shinto-temple styled house and a garden of violets in the center of the different walkways throughout her home. Currently, there hasn't been any sort of deed for her to accomplish.
Personality:
Cold. Mean. And definitely not shy. No, she's not just selfish or mean. Aria just knows how to keep the wall from being broken, and not to be pushed around. That's who she is. Her intentions might not be of the right side, but many times the goal was achieved, and she was happy.
