It's about two lovers, sepertated by time.
One, Alex, is in 2004. He moves into the Lake House.
The other, Kate, is in 2006. She used to live in the Lake House.
In the begining, Kate is a docter and sees a man get hit by a car and dies in her arms.
The two commute by a mail box at the Lake House.
Alex sees her in the past, when she doesn't know who he is.
Kate takes a "walk" with him. He gives her a map and marked it. She wished to really have him there, and he had spray painted the wall in 2004,
"Kate, you are not alone. We are together."
It was very sweet.
Then, you find out that Alex's time zone ahs sped up to 2006, and Kate's now in 2008. But she remebers that Alex, in 2006, that day that the guy had died.
Alex was the one who died in Kate's arms, and to prevent that in the end, she ran to the mail box and told him to wait.
He was across the street, and remebered, so in 2008, they met and lived in the Lake House.
