TenTen stood examining her reflection in the lake. She hadn't grown to much since she first became a ninja. TenTen was 15 now,and had achieved chunin rank. It was the middle of the day and she was waiting by the lake for the rest of her team to arrive. She sat down under a rather large apple tree. She stared up at the sky and watched bird flew by. Immediately TenTen's mind drifted to Neji Hyuga.
"Wonder what Neji-kun is doing right now",TenTen said to herself
"Meeting the team right here",Neji said walking up to her.
"Oh....um high Neji",TenTen replied looking away so Neji wouldn't see her blushing.
"Gai-sensei and Lee are going to be a little late today",Neji said
TenTen turned back to Neji,her face still slightly pink. She stood up and sighed.
"Something wrong TenTen?",Neji asked suddenly
"N no why do you ask?",TenTen asked nervously
Neji blinked and went to sit down by the lake. He layed back and was watching birds fly above him. TenTen found herself watching him closely. She walked over and sat down beside him queitly. She nudged Neji with her foot by accident. Neji sat up and put his arm around TenTen's shoulders. She turned beat red and tried to avoid his gaze.
"TenTen there's something I want to talk to you-",Neji began
"HEY TEAM",Lee yelled running up to Neji and TenTen.
Neji quickly stood up and walked over to Lee. TenTen was still sitting there in a daze. Neji had actually put his arm around her,she was rather shocked.
"Neji we have a mission this is no time to be flirting with your girlfriend",Lee said
"No-wait-TenTen isn't my girlfriend or anything",Neji said quickly trying to not let Lee see he was blushing like mad.
"Then why is your face so red?",Lee asked
"We were just talking Lee-Neji's been training hard today and its hot-that's why his face was red",TenTen said joining the two boys
"Oh yeah I forgot Gai-sensei wants us to go meet him at the ramen shop",Lee said
He turned around and began heading back into Konoha. Neji hesitated then slowly began to follow him. After Lee whisked out of sight Neji turned around and looked right into TenTen's eyes.
"We better get going....",Neji began
TenTen blinked and walked over to Neji,her heart beating like a jackhammer. Her and Neji walked back into Konoha and joined Gai-sensei at the ramen shop.
"Hey Team..we have a mission",Gai sensei said
"We heard from Lee",TenTen replied
"Neji was flirting with TenTen down by the lake sensei",Lee said
"Oh realy are you and TenTen going to-",Gai began
