Clash of the Species
The Humans- They were tired; tired of being drained of their blood by the vampires, tired of being turned by the werewolves…and they were tired of being tortured by the demons. Having no real power, they were the lowest of the four groups…that is why they seek the power to control the others. They were in danger; and if they didn’t do something quickly, it could mean the end for them. They won’t give up until they find the power they seek…

The Vampires-The vampires…oh, how they loved draining the humans of their blood as a source of nourishment...but that wasn’t enough for them. They’ve lived for centuries and have become bored with the normal everyday feeding. They loath anyone they think are lower than they; hence, they want control of the werewolves, humans, and demons for their own enjoyment.

The Werewolves- They believe that they should be the superior race, the one to rule all others. They always hated the vampires, always thinking that it would be better to be changed into a werewolf. Not a vampire. To them, vampires are their mortal enemy, both wanting to change the humans to their kinds. The werewolves believe that if they get the crystal they can change all humans into werewolves, outnumbering the vampires. The crystal would help them also tame the arrogant demons. If they could only get that crystal…

The Demons- They claim that they are superior compared to the others. They claim that the vampires and werewolves are simply demons, yet in a lower status for being changed from humans and into their current state. The Demons say that the humans are filthy creatures that should not have the privileges to wander freely. These demons want control, they want power. For this they desire for the crystal that shall give them true control over all species.

Rundown:

The four groups- the humans, demons, vampires, and werewolves- all want control over each other and the only way to get it is by obtaining a very powerful crystal. But it won’t be that easy; what would happen if the crystal gives them power over the other groups…but also causes great calamity?

Rules:
*2 characters min, each of them coming from a different species. If you have more characters then they can be from the same clans though at least two different clans
*Keep things PG:13
*Literacy is your best friend, okay? In other words, be literate.
*Use quotations for speech.
*Italics for thoughts

Ayden moved swiftly through the forest. The dark night made him feel jumpy- knowing that vampires and werewolves would be lurking about even more. The demons might be coming out more often tonight as well. It didn't matter he was ready for what they would throw at him.

He paused to take a glance at the moon that was almost risen half way into the sky. He continued on, quickening his speed- knowing he shouldn't be out so late on his own.

Tristian hid in the shadows of a lone building. He was waiting for humans to pass by or at least approach somewhere close enough. He kept his senses sharp however- anticipating the moment he would be jumped by a werewolf or a demon.

Tristian didn't worry much about the humans however, he didn't think they would prove to be much of a worry besides a prickly thorn int he side that needed to be taken care of. Or even as simple as a midnight snack.

Caleb ran through the forest swiftly, he was in his wolf form and headed towards a nearby lair. His ash gray fur seemed to blend in with the night's shadows yet was elluminated by the faint rays of moonlight that snuck through the trees.

The chains that he accesorized himself with clinked lightly as he moved swiftly.

Mizuki kept to the shadows. A dark look crossed her face as she thought about those inferior vampires, worthless werewolves and, those weaklings called humans that lurked around in the darkness. She moved quickly and surreptitious through the shadows, keeping an eye out for them. She was on her guard, as usual, just in case any one of them tried to sneak up on her.

Hiroki growled as he jumped from tree to tree, his dark fur helping him camouflage himself in the night. He was in his werewolf form and my, was he testy. He kept a sharp look out for anything that could be a danger to him; predominantly the demons and their natural enemies, the vampires. The humans, he could take care of in a snap and wasn’t too worried about them; besides, if he saw one, he could always turn them into one of his own.

Leigh's black leather gloves twisted tighter around the parasol she held. It wasn't raining, and it wasn't sunny, but stil, she kept the parasol expanded over her head. To her, it was the only roof she had. Her muscles tensed and she stopped mid-step when she heard a noise. When it turned out to be a squirrel, she clenched her jaw tighter and kept walking. It probably wasn't the smartest idea she had ever come up with, walking around in the dead of the night. She was only a human, in an area filled with vampires, demons, and werewolves. Even worse, Leigh moaned as she thought about it, she had no upper body strength to fend off a sudden attack. The only thing that was keeping her alive was a short dagger, hidden in the handle of the parasol. Leigh looked around warily, sighed, then put down the parasol, and leaned against the tree she had stopped beside. She desperately needed sleep, but Leigh doubted she would get any this night, as she sat down on a root at the trunk of the tree.

Lachlan growled as he stood on a branch of a tree. He hadn't seen one suspicious thing all night, and he was getting annoyed. As much as he wanted to avoid confrontation with a werewolf or demon, he did want to find a human. Of course, the middle of the forest he was in probably wasn't the ideal place to look. But he had had a few rare cases where a child would get lost in the woods, and end up running across his path. Lachlan growled again and jumped from the branch. He headed back the direction he had entered the forest from. But he would take his time, and walk back, maybe he would get lucky after all.

Ayden paused to catch his breath against a tree. He had chosen this spot since the folige to his left and right would hopefully conceal him from quick glances. Closing his eyes for a moment, he held his breath and leaned his head back against the tree.

Tristan watched the forest ahead of him thoughtfully. Should he venture out and prey upon werewolves and demons tonight? A smile graced his face, yet gave him a look mischief as he advanced towards the outskirts of the forest.

Caleb slowed and looked to the moon. He felt urges twitch through him and finally he didn't surpress it. Pointing his face straight to the moon, he howled. It was short yet loud as if challenging nearby wanders to just try him. Shortly after he began on his way once more.

Mizuki stopped walking again, hearing a howl coming from somewhere in the forest. Her eyes narrowed severely. She knew that sound from anyway. So...those mutts are out as well. She smirked. I guess it was to be expected.

Hiroki had heard as well. He leaned against the trunk of a dark tree, determining where the sound had come from. He didn't linger long though; it could mean trouble for him if he stayed too long. He kept moving.

Leigh looked around once she heard the howl, but it hadn't sounded close. "Someone's confident..." She muttered, relaxing against the tree again. On the other hand, if some werwolf attracted all the attention its way, then maybe she could find a safe spot to sleep...Wasn't that so like a human? To pretend nothing was happening even if a war was raging in front of them. Leigh looked at the world differently ever since vampires had killed her parents. Now, it was a world of danger, with no one to trust, except on that rare occasion when you had a family member who actually cared. "Not my family anyway..." Leigh sighed. One of her favorite things to do, get comfy and talk to herself, wasn't that how it had been since she was alone? No one else would listen. Leigh frowned, "I wonder if my parents ever listened to me..." She pondered.

Lachlan froze when he heard the howl, and turned himself away from it. No confrontations...No when I'm starving Lachlan grimaced. He had to think he was one of the stupidest vampires on earth at the moment, wandering around in a forest, when there were cities of humans all over the world. But no, he had to pick a forest. "I'm an idiot..." He sighed, stepping around a particularly large bush.
