A young girl walked through the moonlight.It was a full moon,she was covered in cuts and bruises.It was surprising she could even walk.
Her red hair swayed as she struggled to keep moving.She couldn't anymore.Her vibrant yet dull red eyes closed as she lay on her back on the cool moonlit ground.
"Daichi..." she whispered before she fainted and would find herself somewhere else.
"One hop,two hop,three hop four!" Tobi sang as he hopped across the sunny ground with Zetsu by his side walking along unusually quite.
"Five hop,six hop,HEY ZETSU-SAN LOOK A BODY!" Tobi shouted as he pointed to the body of a redheaded girl.
"Hmmm...I am rather hungry"
"It looks like its still breathing"
Tobi ran over to the body and put his fingers on her neck.She had a pulse,a slow one,but it was still going."She's alive!Can we keep her?She seems really young!"Tobi examined.
"Damn.I was rather hungry."
"We can keep her Tobi,if she continues to live that is"
Tobi jumped up and down in joy and picked the young girl up,being careful as to not harm her."She'll live.I can feel it Zetsu-san." Tobi said,basically in joy
that this girl would be sort of like his 'pet' or apprentice.
"Well,I guess we better get her to the base as soon as we can.Any moment she breathes could be her last time."
"Right,but if she dies,my hunger will cease."
-At the base-
The girl slowly opened her eyes to see Tobi watching over her.She made a questioning face but didn't say a thing.
Tobi gasped melodramatically. "You're up" he whispered after he was done gasping.The wounded girl blinked.
"Why is that good to you?...I don't even know you." the young redhead said to him,almost no tone in her voice.She was almost too weak to talk.
Tobi seemed to think for a while about what she had said."Well...I'm Tobi!So now you know me!" Tobi pointed out.
The redhead sighed,she sat up and closed her eyes shut of the pain.In the state she was in,it hurt so much the average person wouldn't be able to move of it.Especially such a young girl.
She looked up,trying to remember what had happened before her thoughts were interrupted by a poke.
"So...who are you?!" Tobi asked,sort of impatient sounding.
"Kaji Hasakata!" Zetsu scorned his new apprentice after she had slaughtered another body.
"He was supposed to be kept alive! For information!"And Torture..."
The aged red headed girl looked at the body in the puddle of deep red blood. "He was starting" she started to say and turned around to look at Zetsu and smiled sweetly but at the same time creepily."To get on my nerves"she completed.
She then looked to a direction between the body and Zetsu."Screaming,It gets to me.Like nails on a scratch board."
Zetsu gritted his teeth and shut his eyes.
"Well there's nothing to do with it now."
"Except eat it"
"Well I'll leave you to that." the now 16 year old said and turned around slightly. "And you know to call me Ayame now.You yourself gave me that name." she smirked then finally walked away.
"Hey Ayame!" Tobi shouted to her as they passed eachother in the halls of the Akatsuki lair.
Ayame smiled. "Hello Tobi-san." she greeted back to him and tugged on his new Akatsuki jacket.
Tobi noticed and grinned,although you couldn't see under his mask. "I'm finally part of the Akatsuki Ayame.Finally in" he said in an unusually calm voice.
Ayame's eyes sadened a little."I guess you do deserve it Tobi-san.You've been here longer than me.Now I am Zetsu's subordinate instead of you I guess." she said slowly letting go of the black cloth patterned
in red clouds worn by Tobi.
Tobi nodded."Wish me luck with Deidera-sempai!He is my new partner." Tobi told her as he continued walking down the hall.
As soon as Tobi was gone,Ayame hit the cave walls,causing blood to come out of her fists.She licked her wound. "Damn...I'm envying Tobi now.He gets into the Akatsuki,
along with being paired with Deidera-kun..." she mumbled in between licks."I shouldn't though.He is my best friend...I think.He saved me.If he hadn't been there,Zetsu probably would've eaten me."
she continued to talk to herself between licking her own blood off of her hand.She smirked."My blood is starting to get tasteless...and I'm starting to talk to myself.I'm becoming more like Zetsu-san already"
Ayame noticed and smirked."I need something to drink." she said and went back to the always twisted smile on her face.She went to the Akatsuki kitchen.It always
freaked her out,every appliance seemed to be a torture device,and she didn't wanna get hurt simply by making a smoothie or baking snickerdoodles.
She put some bananas in the blender and pressed the button cautiously.The blades went swinging with no top so she had to put her hands over the where the lid would be.
By the time it was done her hands were scarcely cut up."Damn cheap Kakuzu." she scuffed,dumping the slimey banana substance out of the container and pouring it
into a cup.
"Can you get me some smoothie?Un?" It was no other than the blonde artist,Deidera.
Ayame slightly blushed and put a confused look on her face afterwards. "Deidera-kun.I thought you were going to be with Tobi-san." Ayame told him as she poured
two glasses of a banana smoothie.
Deidera glanced up."I've already had enough of that idiot.Hmm." Deidera grunted reaching for his smoothie.
"Don't about him like that!" Ayame snapped."He may be a little annoying sometimes.But he is definantly a good friend.If it wasn't for him I'd be dead." she explained to him.
Using a creepy voice to imtimidate him,to send him a message that if he insulted Tobi again,he'll have to face to her.Even though Deidera could probably beat Ayame with ease.
Deidera blinked.He seemed just a little intimidated not by her voice,but by what she had said. "Okay Kaji.I won't make fun of Tobi" he smiled.'When you're around anyway' he thought.
Ayame took a sip of her smoothie."My name isn't Kaji anymore." she said,her twisted smile growing a bit more."Its Ayame."
Deidera stared taking it in."Ayame" he repeated."Zetsu gave you that name.Didn't he?un..." Deidera smiled a bit facing up but his eyes were looking down.
Ayame nodded."Of course he did." the redhead answered as she took a sip of the smoothie. "He is sort of my...sensei after all." Ayame continued,using a regular talking voice now.
"I would think so." Deidera said looking at the ceiling."Ayame,was the name of his first daughter.Who he treasured dearly.And it may not seem like it,but Zetsu
definantly thinks you're something,un." Deidera said in a soft voice and when he was finished looked at the moon light orphan girl.A cup blocked his veiw,
he finished the rest of the smoothie.He left the cup there on the counter and walked off without another word,leaving Ayame speechless.
