She sat in the tree and thought of him. The way he touched her. The way he kissed her, the way he sang to her. The way he loved her.
He lay on his bed, miles and miles away. He wanted to run his hands through her hair. He missed her smile, he missed her eyes, he missed her being next to him. He loved her with all of his heart, and his parents took him away.
"Kira dinner!"
Her day dreams were quickly interruppted.
Kira hopped from the tree she sat in as a tear escaped her eye. She missed her boyfriend dearly and would give anything to be with him. It was getting late and the summer sun was setting, she remembered when she would watch the sun set with her boyfriend, and he would softly kiss her on the neck, and she would smile. She went indoors, washed her hands and sat at the dinner table. The aroma of the food made her instantly hungry. She grabbed a chicken leg, put some potatoes on her plate and finally put a large amount of green beans on her plate, her favorite.
The family around her began to talk about work and how summerschool was for her younger brother.
She was lost in though again.
"Kira?" said her mother "Ki Ki?"
She snapped back to reality.
"Yeah mom?" she asked irritably.
"You alright?"
"Yeah."
After dinner she went into her room and got on her laptop. He was online.
"KiKi1232 has signed on."
A little jingle went as the words popped up and Chris' heart began to race as he hopped from his bed and typed in the words, 'Hello beautiful."
KiKi1232: Hey Chris.
CrazieChris:You alright?
KiKi1232:Missing U.
CrazieChris:Me too.
Chris waited for a reply, but he bet she was crying. He waited silently at his computer. Then the jingle came again and it said she had signed out. Chris really missed her with all of his heart, he wanted to be with her again.
His parents disagreed on him dating a black girl and he knew that Kiras parents didn't approve either, he was forced to move miles and miles away from Delaware to Florida, sure it was warmer, but he wished his lady was by his side, no matter where, on Mars for all he cared.
Kira had her face in her pillow and screamed into it. "Why am I treated this way! Why me?" She turned on her music and began playing 'Bring Me to Life' by Evanessence and screamed the Lyrics. "Breathe into me and make me real!!!!!!!!" She didn't how late it was or how loud it was, or who she was disturbing. "Frozen inside. with out your touch, with out your love!"
Chris looked out of his window at the night sky. He remembered when he and Kira would sit under the stars and hold one another. He took out his cellphone and dialed her number. He heard an click and some one turning down music.
"Hello" said Kira into the phone, she didnt know who it was since she didnt check the Caller ID.
"Forget to check the Caller ID again?" He asked, a smile covering his face.
"Chris?" she asked a smile growing across her own. "Yes. I did."
