Shadows are within the dark, what if someone told you it had a face? What if you met the face and fell in love? Despite the fact the face, wanted noting but for you to suffer from the beginning...

Summed up story line- Surprise! The shadow's themselves are a energy gathered into one single vessel. A human form in some sense, and he likes to play games with the one's who walk among the shadow's themselves. Well in this case him, and he's found a special girl he takes a liking too, mostly because of her fear of the dark. Finally they confront another when he's in human form, Shadow has a brother, he's a demon cat. And he like's Lily's little sister. What happens between the mischievous brother's? Will they fall in love or play another game like always?

Lily sat in her room, playing with a stray ribbon on her berry red dress, she sighed bored. "So...gah...bored...." She groaned, falling off her bed when she tired to hang over it. "Oww..." It was around 6:00 P.M, Amaya her sister and her already ate dinner.

He was in demon form, wandering around hissing at the people who stared at him. 'Stupid humans...' he snickered, well in some form since cat's can't snicker. He mewed, then trotted over to an alley way awaiting for his brother or Kloud.

Amaya rolled off her bed "6:00 p.m. huh I wonder if Lily wants to go for a walk" Amaya asked herself as she walked out of her room and knocked on her sister`s door.

Lily looked at her door, then the ground with a lazy intention. "Come in." She knew it was either mom or Amaya. She straightened up and sat back on her bed.

"Hey Since theres nothing to do you want to go for a walk" Amaya asked quietly looking down at the floor

Lily smiled a bit, looking at her sister. She was so shy..."Sure Amaya. Where too?" She asked, grabbing a black sweater, zipping it up standing over her sister.

"I don`t know maybe we could walk around the town for a while I sure we could find something to do there".Amaya said Before walking out Lily`s door.

"Sure, get your coat thou it's a bit cold out." Lily wandered out with her standing by the front door waiting, there mother trusted them enough to let em' out, long as they stay together. "Mom, me and sis are going out!" There mother yelled back. 'K! Put on a coat it's cold!' Lily chuckled.

Kat meowed again, then looked around. 'Holy crap Shadow's, not like you to be late...' Kat thought. 'nor Kloud.' He lowered his ears, softly mewing.

kloud walked up to kat she ha gotten attacked by bigger dogs while traveling she had wanted to travel out of the shadow's for once she yipped lightly at kat then Shadow's appeared "sorry for being late kat I had to take care of something"

He looked over to the wolf pup, ah Kloud. Kat mewed, then softly purred. "It's all right you too, now that your here." He stood up and cicled around Kloud, then sat back down. "Did you get hurt?" He meowed.

Amaya ran and got her coat and ten ran to the door where Lily was waiting "Ready" she asked zipping her coat up.

kloud wagged her tail a little but just a few bruises they'll heal Shadow's smiled kat and kloud were usually unseperitable

She opened the door and stepped out into the freezing air, it was starting to get pretty dark. "Not a long walk thou, short." She headed down the walk way, Amaya could catch up.

He nodded, then looked up at his brother with a cheshire cat grin. "Time to play." He looked over to Kloud. "Be careful, your still young." He stood up and trotting out of the alley vanishing into the dark.

kloud rolled her eyes and looked at shadow's who was grinning what?! "nothing now go have fun" kloud rolled her eyes and ran off in a different direction from kat and shadow's walked around hiding in the shadow's watching the humans waiting for a prey

Kat mewed at a nearby human, then slowly sat in front of the male. The human frowned, then walked away. 'rude...Shadow's, you should eat someone, haha.' ...Kat looked to the way Kloud went.

Amaya had seen that Lily had left so she walked out the door in the opposite direction.I wonder where Lily went Amaya wondered as she looked up the sky as she walks.

kloud yipped at a grl (lily) pretending she wanted to be friends

Lily looked nervously around, where's Amaya? She sighed, then skipped a bit till a yipping came to call, yipping? She looked down to the wolf pup, then jumped. "Well, hello there..." She waved to the pup, then knelt down. "Your a little lost, considering this is a city...you should be in the forest with your mommy." She said to Kloud.

Kat mewed at Amaya, then brushed against her leg, walking on past her, slowly, looking ever so helpless.

Amaya looked down and saw kat "aww whats wrong don`t you have a home" she asked "You must be so cold come here" Amaya said holding her hand out.

'Wow, that was fast. I must be getting good.' He snickered, which sounded like a cough. Kat meowed, then turn to her with ears back. He slowly came closer, frighten-ness showed in his gold eye's.

"Come here I won`t hurt you,your so cute" Amaya said trying to get kat to come to her.

Kat mewed again, then approached Amaya licking her fingers. 'Hmm fruit tasting.' He mewed, ears turning forward.

kloud complide with a small bark and slowly went up to her and licked her hand 'silly humans always so predictable' shadow's watched his brother silently

Lily smiled, lightly brushed a hand across Kloud's head. "What's your name? Oh geesh Lily, stupid question wolf's can't talk back..." She smiled stupidly. "Well, if you want you can come with me." She stood up and walked around a bit, looking for Amaya.

"You must be lonely huh" Amaya asked rubbing kat ears.I wonder if we could keep him Amaya thought watching him.

He purred at her, then nods his little furry head leaning into Amaya's touch. 'Hmm...'

kloud followed her and shadow's followed kloud hoping the human would step into the shadow's

She bite her lower lip in a nervous flutter, then went down a dark alley, bad move. Now she was lost, AND in the dark; she feared the dark and everything in it. "Great..."

shadow's chuckled load enough for ehr to hear and started to play tricks on her

Lily closed her eye's, counting to ten, hoping the dark wouldn't get her. But out of the shut eyes, everything seemed to creep her out. Goosebumps rose on her arms, seeing things fluttered within the red of her eyes. She opened them looking for the wolf pup, "Little wolf...?" She shivered, backing into the wall.

kloud pricked her ears up and walked up to her but as a human girl and not a wolf
Shadows chuckled one of kloud's favorite games was to trick people into believing they saw either a girl or a wolf pup

Lily blinked, then narrowed her eye's. What? A girl? she rubbed her arms, trying to gather warmth, her brows raised in confusion. "Have..have you seen a-a-a wol-ff-f wolf pup?"

kloud smiled and tilted her head and in a soft haunting voice she spoke "no sorry I haven't but you look lost can we help you?" shadow's watched and he began to have a strange feeling this human that kloud was talking to was some what cute

She shivered, then nodded slowly. "Y-ya I'm lost, I can't find my little sister either..." Lily explained. "she has orangie-red hair. About 5 ft 3' hoodie on. You seen her?" She looked around, pulling her dress down. Is someone watching me? man I feel like someone is... she thought quietly to herself.

shadows sighed for some reason he felt bad for frightening the human girl "kloud enough" kloud shrugged "yeah I think I saw her with a cat" then everything went back to normal and infront of lily was a wolf pup again

Lily rubbed her eye's, dear God Iv 'e gone crazy...she thought. Looking at the wolf pup infront of her. "I need to get out of her and find Amaya." Lily like that, ran out of the alley calling for her sister, Amaya.

shadow's told kloud to follow her so she did

No such luck, desperation grew on her face. "Amaya!" She called again. Where are you...Kat perked his ear's up, looking in left's direction.

kloud smeled kat and ipped at lilly and ran in his direction well half way then came back for lily

She stared at the wolf pup, still unsure of wether to trust her eye sight. But, it was her only lead so Lily followed after Kloud. "What is it...?" She peered threw the dark.

Kat mewed to Amaya.

kloud ran but not to fast so lily could keep up when she saw kat again and yipped happily trying to get lily to believe she was happy to help her find her sister

He meowed to Kloud, looking at Amaya. 'Hm, so that's her sister Kloud?' He asked within his mind to her's.

Lily did catch up, smiling when she saw Amaya. "Thank you girl." she said to Kloud. "Where have you been Amaya?" Lily tapped her foot.

kloud wagged her tail and went over to kat and sat next to him somethings wrong with shadow's he showed compasion for the human who is amaya's sister he noticed she was afraid and told me to stop tricking her and he stopped frightening her it's not like him to do so is it? you are his brother you would know more about it then I

Kat looked to Kloud, puzzled and in awe. No, it wasn't like Shadows. 'Wha...? Heaven's no. Not like at him at all, I think he had a change of heart or something. Hmm, that or midlife crisis...' kat let out a coughing sound, most likely it would be considered a chuckle.

kloud kept herself from laughing and smiled yeah or he likes her alot.... kloud looked at her paws when she said that true she was shadow's pet but she thought that for as long as she'd been with him and kat he might have gotten feelings for her but she now realized it was just a silly wish

Kat perked his ear's up, licking down his side clear to his tail. 'Could be. My brother is weird...' He looked to the shadow's, making sure Shadow's didn't hear. 'Hm, what should we do with the humans Kloud?'

Lily didn't notice the two chatter, considering she couldn't hear people's...or animals thoughts.

for now in case shadow's is near by just let them be but we should take turns watching them I am curious as to what shadow's sees in lily kloud scratched her ear

Kat nodded, looking to Lily then Amaya. He let his golden eye's exam the two. 'Good idea. Me to, personlly humans are silly creatures...' he trotted over to Kloud, nudging her. 'Act cute or they'll think odd of us.'

kloud nodded and acted cute she walked up to lily and pawed her leg and yipped her tail wagging

Kat meowed at Amaya, then wandered down the sidewalk, waiting for them to follow.

Kat made a sniff nose, if that where a human reaction it would be a sound of disgust. He turned his head upward wandering onto Amaya's and Lily's porch.

"Wow, where here that was fast." She smiled down at both Kloud and Kat.

kloud snickered silently and her ail wagged slightly "so do you want to stay first or shall I?"

Kat narrowed his gold eye's at Kloud, turning up his nose. 'You, I don't like this human "Lily" one bit.' He mewed to Amaya and took off down the street.

Lily held the door open for her sister, the cold was biting at her skin like frost nips at your nose.

kloud shrugged he was right she didn't but that was because to her lily was just a human to tease and be mean to and for shadow's to be kind to her made kloud feel hurt, betrayed, jealous, upset, angry, and confused. Kloud looked up at them her ears flat and she whined

Kat was ontop of a stoop, atleast a mile away from Kloud. He was fast and blending in with night help'ed a lot he sighed, looking around no one was in sight so he 'changed' into human form, out of habit he licked the back of his hand. "Hm. Shadow...?" he called softly, his voice was very soft for a guy, but had a taunting edge to it. Always it seemed.

Lily reached down, letting her hand lightly brush Kloud's ears. "You can come in girl." She smiled with added warmth.

shadow sighed "yes kat?"

Kloud licked her hand and entered the house

He ran his fingers threw his hair, sighing. "What are you planning with that human girl?"

Lily smiled at her mom, going into the kitchen she bent down setting a bowl of water on the floor. "There ya go." Lily looked to her frowning mother. 'Lily, what is a dog doing in the house?' She tapped her foot. Lily grinned. "A new pet...?" She rocked on her heels. Lily's and Amaya's mother sighed. 'Fine, keep it.'

kloud drank some water then went lily's mother and sat on the floor looking at her sweetly wagging her tail
Shadow shrugged "I don't know something inside of me stopped me from tormenting her why?what has kloud said?"

Lily's mother sighed, reaching down and petting Kloud. Lily laughed.

"I could ask the same, you got all soft maybe? Losing your edge?" He teased. Now serious. "Not much, I think she's..." He looked around. "The J word." Kat nodded, winking.

shadow rolled his eyes and sighed "maybe or maybe it's just her wait where's kloud?"

kloud licked her mothers hand and let her pet her

Kat grinned. "With the humans, watching over them. Collecting information you could say..." He trailed off. "hungry?"

Lily's mother smiled, leaving the kitchen Lily headed to her room, letting Kloud follow along if wished so.

shadow sighed kloud reminded him a little of kat sometmies then he smiled "yeah"
kloud followed lilly she hoped shadow wouldn't be mad at her

Lily opened her door, plopping on the bed. She stared at Kloud. "I wonder if I dreamed that all, you turning into a little girl. Or maybe I'm going looney..." Lily rolled on her side.

He held his head up high, making a 'hmph' sound. "Kloud is not like me if that's what your thinking." he strolled along to find a place to eat.

kloud tiled her head and jumped up onto her bed and sniffed her pillow

Kat narrowed down a corner, turning into a cafe. They had a chalk reader board with there special on it.

Sandwhichs, ham, turkey melt.

List went on, he sat down waiting for Shadow's.

Lily glanced at Kloud, then started to laugh. "That's my pillow..."

Kat picked up the menu stuck between the napkin dispenser, looking at it then setting it down. "Hm, no tuna." Kat frowned.

Lily giggled, petting Kloud.

shadow smiled "well get the next best fish"

Lily smiled, she rolled over reaching into a desk's drawer, pulling out a bag of M&M's. Lily opened them eating a few, she looked to Kloud. "Want one? It's got chocolate in it thou, not sure if you could eat it. Course your not a dog...so..." She ranted on.

Kat grinned, a set of cat ears perked up on his head, he mewed. Then they flattened against his head, disappearing all together. He ducked down in his chair. "Whoops." He laughed nervously.
