Izzi blushed a little "Thanks..." she said quietly.

Joel smiled and took more chips, she's so cute when she blushes... he thought watching her.

Izzi tried to stop blushing and only suceded in blushing harder. She desided instead to take a sip of her soda, maybe her soda can would hide her face.

Joel looked around a little and took a drink of his drink.

[akitoluva]

"Sooo... do you want to dance or meet some people or what?" Izzi asked softly.

[broken inside]

Joel thought a moment, "yeah I guess...." he said softly.

[akitoluva]

Izzi laughed "Which one?" she asked.

[broken inside]

"umm dance I guess.. but I must warn you I'm not very good." He said smiling a little.

[akitoluva]

Izzi smiled also "Well that's ok... I'm not very good either..."

"I bet your better then me" Joel said sighing a little, "even though Katie has tried many times to teach me it's never worked.."

[akitoluva]

Izzi laughed a little walked with him towards the place where everyone else was dancing. "I highly doubt your worse than me..."

Joel smiled, "we'll just have to wait and see.."

[akitoluva]

Izzi smiled and waited for the next song.

Joel was really a very good dancer if he wanted to be but most of the time he didn't so he wasn't.

Izzi was a good dancer also.

Joel listen to the song a little trying to think of how he should dance in the first place.

Izzi smiled and just let herself go, doing whatever she felt like doing.

Joel smiled at her and did the same.

They danced for a few songs before Joel saw Katie snooping around.

Izzi saw Joel looking at something and turned her head to see what it was.

Joel sighed and watched as Katie made her way towards the food and drinks.

Izzi watched Katie.

Katie looked at the cool with the tape on it and smiled looking around making sure no one was looking before she opened it.

Izzi laughed a little, seeing Katie open it. She was fine just as long as she didn't drink anything.

Katie shut it and got some pop out of the other cooller then walked back to the other room.

Izzi smiled shaking her head, her cousins would have immediatly grabbed the bear and chugged it before anyone could stop them.

Joel sighed it was amazing she didn't take any she was always doing things she wasn't suposed to.

Izzi stopped dancing a song or two later.

Joel sighed he was tired but he wouldn't let it show.

Izzi also covered a yawn and went over to take a sip of her drink, which she had sat on a side table.

Joel followed drinking the rest of his soda.

Izzi smiled at Joel, taking a sip of her drink.

Joel smiled back then looked around a little. He hadn't been to a party this big in awhile.

One of Izzi's brother's friends came over to them. "Hey..." he said.

Joel looked up at him, was that to her or to me or to both of us... he thought confused.

Izzi was likewise confused, but of course that's what happened when she talked to her brother's friends.

"Ummm.... hi" Izzi said finally.

Joel just smiled and looked nice.

James's friend looked at Joel "Who's the eye candy?" he asked.

Joel turned got another soda and took a drink then grabbed some chips.

Izzi's eyes went wide "Ummm... that's Joel.." she said "Oh I think my brother wants you..." she said trying to get out of talking to the guy further. That friend always freaked her out.

Joel tried not to laughed as he listened.

The guy shrugged "No... I don't think so.... he's with Lydia..."

Izzi shook her head "No, I think he's over there... he wants to talk to you."

The guy finally left her alone.

"you're brother has weird friends..." Joel said watching the guy leave.

Izzi nodded "Yeah that one scares me..."

"I can see why.." Joel said shaking his head.

[akitoluva]

"Sadly a lot of them are like that..." Izzi said making a face.

Joel chuckled, "yeah Katie would say something like that about my friends..." he said.

Izzi giggled "I'm sure she would..."

"but then again she thinks most people are weird" Joel said smiling.

Izzi grinned "Well I hope she doesn't think I'm too weird..."

"who knows.." Joel said shrugging.

Izzi laughed in her head, he wasn't much for conversation apparently.

Joel yawned it wasn't even that late and he was tired.

Izzi noticed the yawn but didn't say anything, it wouldn't be good to show the kid her pervy side. Though she had the best thing to say at that moment.

Joel sighed, "why am I always tired.." He asked hittig his forhead,

Izzi bit her tounge.

Joel smiled, "oh well.." He said taking another drink of his soda.

Izzi took another sip of her drink also, and grabed a handful of chips, shoving them in her mouth so she couldn't say anything bad.

Joel watched her, "are you okay?" he asked.

[akitoluva]

Izzi nodded.

((you missed last night.. got Ben was very... ummm... interesting... by put a coin down my shirt and yelled 'arcade' or something like that... and then he grabed my but as he was leaving @.@))

Joel smiled a little, "are you sure..." he said moving his face really close to hers looking it over.

Izzi blushed nodding her head.

"your blushing.." He said softly, "and you not talking which means you have something you want to say but it's something pervereted and would rather not say it.."

Izzi hung her head, it was amazing that was exactly what was going on. Izzi swollowed her chips. He's gotta be a shrink or something... she thought a rather hott shrink but...

"and No I'm not I shrink I just have an uncanny nack for knowing what people are thinking.." Joel said smiling.

Izzi laughed, then thought of him going up to her bedroom with her. "Alright if you're soo good at it what am I thinking now?" she asked grinning.

Joel watched her for awhile a smiled creeping over his face, "me going up to your bedroom with you.." He said.

Izzi grinned "Wow... you are good."

"I know aren't I.." Joel said chuckling.

Izzi smiled, thinking of something bad again.

"oh my your such a bad little girl.." Joel said shaking his head.

Izzi smiled not even blushing. "So what if I am?" she said moving a little closer to Joel.

"Then thats a good thing because I'm a bad little boy..." Joel said moving closer to her as well.

"Oh really?" Izzi asked "How bad?" she smiled a little.

"you'll have to figure that out for yourself.." Joel said smiling.

Izzi laughed a little "Hmmm... well if you won't tell me will you show me how bad you are?" she asked her voice soft.

"of course..." Joel said grinning.

Izzi smiled "Alright..." she said waiting.

"but I can not do it hear and now knowing my sister is in the same building as me..." Joel said sighing.

Izzi sighed, she thought he would have this problem. "Well... what are we going to do about this problem?" Izzi asked softly.

"caught her, tie her up and find a dragon to feed her too..." Joel said grinning.

Izzi laughed "Oh your poor sister!"

"no not really it was her idea.." Joel said laughing.

Izzi laughed "What?!" she said laughing.

"well I asked her was there anyway I might be able to get rid of her and thats what she said. "Joel said sighing, "she's very odd you know."

Izzi laughed "Wow if only she was ten years older she'd be perfect for James... oh by the way James is my older brother..." she added.

"yeah I kind of figured that.." Joel said covering a yawn.

Izzi smiled at Joel, taking another sip of her drink.

Joel sighed, "I really need to stop staying up all night.." he said taking a drink of his soda.

Izzi laughed "But what fun is that? Sleep is soo over rated.." she joked.

"oh so you rather I never sleep then die because I can't move to I can't eat or drink.." Joel said, "but I really don't see how that would work."

Izzi laughed "Yes I think that would be fun... though I don't see how that would work either. If that's really what happened I would have died a long time ago..."

"yeah so would I" Joel said sighing, "sleep just doesn't make any since"x

Izzi took another sip of her drink and smiled "Nope.. there's so manny other fun things you could be doing instead..."

"yes yes there is" Joel said softly.

Izzi smiled a little, wondering about the change in his voice.

Joel looked at his watch it was already past one-o-clock, "aw man I was suposed to have katie home an hour ago..." he said sighing.

Izzi made a face "Ohhh you have to go then..." she said sounding dissapointed.

"yeah I have to get her to bed or she won't wake up tomarrow and she's a pain to get wake up.." Joel said.

"Aww ok well lets go find her..." Izzi said sighing.

"okay I have no clue where she is but okay..." Joel said looking around.

"Well lets just look for my cousin, she should be somewhere around him..." she said.

"okay.." Joel said looking around he couldn't see Jac or Katie anywhere in this crowd.

Izzi started wakling into the other room.

((your so weird..did you know jac gets mad when Katie wheres shoes that make her taller them him it's really funny to watch..))

Joel followed her looking around for the two short people.

Izzi spotted them in a corner.... and walked in the oposite direction. She wasn't quite sure how Joel would be if he saw them.

"I just want to go home why can't she just make herself appear in front of us..." Joel said sighing.

"Ummm... I don't know..." Izzi said a little uneasily.

"okay where is she I know you know where she is." Joel said folding his ams.

Izzi shrugged "No I don't..." she said not looking at him.

"yes you do.." Joel said kind of cold.

Izzi shook her head "Fine... they're over there" she pointed to the corner. She knew there was no use when a guy used that tone.

"Oh okay.." Joel said walking over to her, "Katie I'm tired we're going home..."

Katie pouted, "I don't want too.."

Jac looked up at Joel and his eyes went wide. They had just been kissing when he had come over.

Joel acted as if he had seen nothing, "But Katie I'm tired and if you stay up to late you get grumpy and scary..." He whined.

Jac kept one arm closely around Katie's waist. He didn't want her to leave.

((Actually the real Jac would run off but for the sake of me typeing something...))

Joel sighed, "then I'm leaving you here good bye..." He said walking away. "sisters..."

Jac smiled, he was happy with that idea.

Izzi laughed a little following Joel for something to do.

"oh goody i get to be alone to night.." Joel said smiling.

Izzi smiled "Well you know you don't have to be alone..." she said quietly.

"oh and what do you mean by that.." Joel asked even though he thought he knew.

"Well I was just thinking that maybe you could show me 'how bad you are' tonight... since your sister apparently won't be there..." Izzi said just as softly as before.

((Damn I have to write a paper for tomorow...))

"hmm thats not a bad idea...but are you sure your brother doesn't want you to help him with the party still?" Joel asked.

Izzi shrugged "Naw... I don't think so... it seems to be doing fine. And we don't really have to tell him now do we." she said smileing.

"no we don't..." Joel said smiling back at her.

Izzi smiled "Alright well... where do you want to go?" she asked.

"so place with a bed..." Joel said smiling.

"My room?" Izzi asked.

"okay" Joel said, He got really wierd when he was tired and didn't want to sleep.

Izzi smiled "Alright then follow me.."

"okay.." Joel said following her as if he were drunk or something and had no cares in the word.

Izzi smiled and walked up the stepts going to her room.

Joel grabbe some ones beer as the went up. He took a drink and looked at it then shrugged.

Izzi stoped at her door.

Joel stopped and looked at the door, "it's a very nice door..." he said poking it a few times.

Izzi laughed a little "Alright..." she opened the door.

Joel shook his head and sighed.

Izzi gave him a strange look "What?" she asked.

"nothing.." He said walking in her room quickly.

Izzi still made a face and followed him shutting the door.

Joel sat on her bed and bounced a little, "springy" He said.

Izzi laughed a little "Yeah I guess.." she said quietly.

"is something wrong?" Joel asked looking up at her.

Izzi shrugged "No.." she said sitting on the bed next to him.

"are you sure.." Joel asked softly.

Izzi nodded "Yeah.. why?"

"just asking you seem a little queit.." Joel said shrugging.

"Well so do you.." Izzi said looking down.

Joel blinked, "hehe I guess I'm just not used to this.."

Izzi shrugged "Neither am I to tell you the truth.."

"oh well then thats okay I think.." JOel said laughing a little.

Izzi blushed a little "Yeah..."

Joel moved slightlly closer to her, "have you always live with your brother?" He asked.

"Yeah... my parents aren't around much..." Izzi said quietly shrugging. It sometimes took her a while to remember that she even had parents.

"thats the way it is for me and Katie too.." Joel said softly.

[akitoluva]

Izzi smiled "Ohh really?" she asked softly.

"yeah ever since I was eight.." Joel said sighing, "we lived with my grandparents untill I could get a place of my own.."

"Oh really? How old are you exactly?" Izzi asked.

"eightteen....." Joel said staring at her.

"Oh really? cool..." Izzi said smileing at him.

"and what about you?" Joel asked softly.

Izzi shrugged "I'm seventeen..." she said.

Joel smiled, "ah I see okay.." He said sighing a little he didn't want her to be a lot younger then him.

Izzi layed back on the bed. She was really tired.

Joel yawned and closed his eyes. He slowly starts to lean forward.

Izzi starts drifting to sleep.

Joel fell forward landing on the floor with a sort of loud thud.

Izzi sat up quickly "Are you ok?!" she asked.

Joel sighed, "your floor is soft...." He said smiling he had hit his heda just a little to hard..

Izzi quickly got up sitting down next to him, his voice didn't sound... right.

Joel sat up and looked around, he poked her and smiled, "your soft too.."

[akitoluva]

Izzi giggled "Oh really?" she asked. Something seemed extreamly wrong now. She thought maybe he had hit his head a little too hard.

Joel kept poking her a dumb drunken expression on his face.

Izzi finally got ticked off and grabed his finger. "Why don't you get into the bed and go to sleep..." she sugested.

"why because you don't like me?" He asked a little hurt but really he was in a confused blur. "then I'll just leave...." Joel said getting up and walking to the door.

"No Joel I like you..." Izzi said softly. There was no telling what her brother's friends would do to him they they found Joel in this state. She walked over quickly to him and put a hand on his arm. "I was just thinking that you looked tired and might want to take a nap with me..." she said making her voice extreamly soft and silky.

Joel pulled his arm away and walked down the stairs and out the door.

Izzi swore and ran after him. "Joel please comme back..." she also didn't want him driving. Especially because his sister was still there.

Joel ignored her and walked down the street he hadn't been planing on driving because mainly he for got.

Izzi ran after him and grabed his hand.

Joel smacked her and pushed her away then just kept walking.

Izzi winced a little but kept going. She had only known him for a day but she didn't want anything to happen to him.

Aaron walked across the street not looking and a car slammed into him sending him flying.

Izzi screamed and rushed over.

Joel was laying in the middle of the street an unmoving blob of flesh and bones.

The driver got out of his car and got to Joel just as Izzi did.

The driving pulled out his phone and called '911' quickly.

Joel's breathing was heavy and uneven. He tried moving but it hurt to much.

Izzi just watched him, not dareing to breath.

The driving hung up and check Joel out quickly, waiting for the ambulance to come.

Izzi was almost in tears.

[broken inside]

Joel's breathing slowly started to fade.

[akitoluva]

Izzi saw this and started talking to Joel. "Joel... please stay with me...." he said loundly, followed by a string of swear words.

Joel winced a little at how loud the words sounded. The ambulance peoples came and put him on a stretching quickly.

Izzi watched them and then was allowed to get in the ambulence with him.

They started looking him putting in the IV and stuff as they rush to the hospital.

[akitoluva]

Izzi watched them wondering how she was goging to explain this to his sister.

they got to the hospital and took his straight into surgery.

[akitoluva]

Izzi sat outside and then went outside to call her brother.

After the surgery they let Izzi go in and see him if she wanted to.

Izzi walked in, her eyes were still a little bit red. She had talked to his sister on the phone and the little girl nearly broke her heart. She had actually started crying.

Joel was in a light sleep. He covered in bandages kind of like a mummy.

[akitoluva]

Izzi went in and sat by Joel in the chair that was there. "Are you awake?" she asked quietly.

Joel opened his eyes slowly and looked at her, "it's kind of hard to sleep when you ach all over.." He said softly.

[akitoluva]

"Ohh yeah..." Izzi said smileing a little "well do you feel good whatsoever?"

[broken inside]

"not really...and what happened?" Joel asked he didn't remember how he got from sitting on her bed to all bruised and broken in the hospital.

[akitoluva]

Izzi sighed "Well you fell off of my bed and must have hit your head. You started acting all weird, and then walked out. I tried to stop you but you slapped me and wouldn't listen to me." Izzi gave him a look "So anyways I followed you and saw you get hit by a car."

Joel sighed, "sorry..." He said softly not looking at her.

Izzi smiled softly "It's not your fault..."

[broken inside]

"but still..." Joel said unable to look at her. Had he really slapped her.

[akitoluva]

Izzi shrugged "Anyways your sister's really worried. "My borther'll bring her over tomorrow... she said that she would call your grandparents for tonight and tell them what happened."

Joel nodded a little, "okay thanks.." He said softly still not looking at her.

Izzi looked at him "Is something wrong?" she asked softly. "Well I mean other then the fact that you were just hit by a car..."

Joel shook his head and closed his eyes.

Izzi smiled "Alright well you probably want to sleep a little more so I'll be out in the lobby..." she told him getting up quietly.

Joel sighed and opened his eyes a little looking down at his hands he still couldn't believe he had smacked her. He had never smacked a girl.

Izzi had just reached the door and looked back before leaving.

Joel closed his eyes again and fell asleep.

Izzi sat out in the waiting room until the people told her to get out. She asked if there was any way that she could stay and they told her that she could stay in his room if she wanted. She agreed and sat watching him sleep.

Joel was having unplessent dreams and was moving around alot.

Izzi watched him not sure what to do.

Joel's heart monitor was going faster the normal and he was sweating slightly.

Izzi put a hand on Joel.

Joel opened his eyes slightly and looked up at her then closed them again.

"Joel are you ok?" Izzi asked softly.

[broken inside]

Joel nodded a little and fell back asleep this time with better dreams.

Lilly smiled. She stayed in the chair and finally fell asleep herself.

Joel woke up the next morning and sighed he had almost forgotten where he was.

Izzi walked in just as he was waking up. "Why hello..." she said smileing and sitting in the seat next to him, siping a nasty cup of tea from the cafiteria.

Joel sat up slowly, "Hey..." He said softly.

[akitoluva]

"Hello..." Izzi said smileing "Feeling any better?"

[broken inside]

"not really and the fact that I'll have to be eating the horrible food thats here..." Joel said sighing.

Izzi laughed "Yes well just don't drink the tea... I have no clue what they do to it but you'd need to be on some heavy drugs to stoumache it..." she said setting her cup down on the table.

Joel smiled, "I think I won't eat it then they'll have to get me other food.." He said.

Izzi smiled "No, there's a thing called feeding tubes.. so I wouldn't advise it."

"your so mean can't even let me hope for good for..." He said sticking his tongue out at her.

Izzi laughed "You better keep that tounge in your mouth... who knows what I'll do with it." she teased.

"mmhmm yeah right..." He said his tongue still out.

Izzi smiled "Fine suit yourslef." she said quickly leaning over and bitting his tounge.

Joel tried to wiggled his tongue away, "hey thats not nice.." he said but it was hard to make out.

Izzi laughed a little understanding what he ment. She let go finally "I know..." he said smileing at him.

Joel leaned forward and kissed her softly then bit her lip.

Izzi smiled.

Joel let go and laid back closing his eyes, "this is really annoy...I can't move very well and everything hurt..."

Izzi sighed "Sorry..."

"don't say sorry..." Joel said softly.

Izzi shruged "Why not?"

"because it makes me feel sorry because you say sorry..." Joel said.
