Coffee shop love (me and akito only)

So there is a coffee shop in the middle of town and this guy Joel see this girl and falls in love with her at that moment but is to afraid to go and talk to her. The girl had seen him to and well the same thing happens to her she's to afraid to go up and talk to him. So every morning they go to the coffee shop and watch each other untill one of them is brave enough to walk across the room and talked to the other.

Joel watched his little sister Katie get on the bus then left the house walking towards the coffee shop. It was still early fall yet it was freezing cold out already.

Izzi shivered walking up the streat. She had on a black coat and tight dark jeans. Her black fuzzy earmuffs that her brother had insisted on her wearing were clamped tightly over her ears to prevent her earings from freezing.

Joel walked into the coffee shop and order some hot coco. Which was a little weird because he didn't really like it all that much.

Izzi came in right after a boy and sat in her usual spot, asking for some hot tea. She looked around her, all the usual people were around her. The coffee shop was one of the only places other then with her brother that she felt at home.

Jeol sat on the far side of the shop in a corner and sipped his hot chocolate. He looked around, he had only been her a few times before yet the same people seemed to be here every time.

Izzi's eyes searched out the new boy. She had seen him only a couple of times. Though she wasn't sure how long he'd been comming because she had been gone for a week. Her brother had been looking at collages and she had desided to come along.
She quickly looked down though when she saw that his eyes were looking in her direction.

Joels eyes stopped on her looking her over, a small smile slipping over his face. He had defiantly seen her hear before but the other times he must not have been paying attention, because she was defaintly something he would have notice if he had been paying any attention what so ever but for him paying attention wasn't something you would find him doing.

Izzi took as sip of her tea. She looked up again to see if the boy was watching her before. She blushed a little seeing that he was. Though it wasn't like it was a bad thing. The boy was really cute, but she wasn't used to being looked at. She found herself wishing that he would stop.

Joel sighed and looked out the window as snow started to fall. He sighed, "oh great snow already..." he thought aloud taking another sip of hot coco.

Izzi noticed that he wasn't looking at her and took the time to look him over. She hadn't really watched him very closely in the past.

Joel sat back in his chair and stared at the ceiling slowly drinking his coco. He had to go to work in ten minutes but he didn't really want to. He was considering calling in sick.

Izzi smiled a little as she saw the muffin on his coat. She loved muffins, there was just something about them.

Joel finished his coco and got up walking out but not with out getting another good look at the girl. There was just something about her that he couldn't ignore, but he felt that way about a lot of hot girls.

Izzi sat and drank her tea for another 15 minutes or so until her brother came for her. He walked in and smiled at her. The smile always made her feel fuzzy inside.
"Are you ready to go then?" he asked her walking over.
"Mhmm.. yeah" she said smileing.

It was her brother's birthday and he had wanted to go somewhere special seeing that he was born on the 21st and it was his 21st birthday. They were going to go to some fancy resteraunt.

Joel walked back to his appartment and changed into his work close and grabbed his car keys. He walked out to his car and got in driving to work.

Izzi's brother James got on his motorcycle(I can't spell =p). Izzi got on behind him and he drove back to their appartment. As they were driving Izzi saw the boy frome the cafe in one of the cars. She had a habit of looking in the windows to see if she knew anyone that was out.

Joel parked his car and went into the restorant, He still had a few minutes till his shift started but that was beside the point.

Izzi changed into something a little nicer when she got home and then they took her parent's car to the resteraunt.

Joel got his stuff ready while he waited for his shift to start.

Izzi walked in with her brother. They went up to the desk. The man asked if they had reservations and James gave his name.

Joels shift started right about the time they got there, today he just happened to be a waiter.

Some one showed them to their seats and gave them the menus.

A few minutes late Joel walked over to there table, "Hello I'm Joel I'll be your waiter for to day" He said smiling warmly at them. "can I start you off with some beverages?"

Izzi looked up and her eyes went wide as she saw the cafe boy. Her brother ordered his drink, not noticing Izzi's expression. She ordered her drink still staring at the boy.

Joel wrote it down on his little note pad, "alright I'll be right back with your drinks" he said walking away, once again not paying much attention to who they were.

Izzi looked down at her menu, luckily he didn't seem to have noticed her.

Joel walked into the kitchen and started getting there drinks.

James smiled at his sister "What are you going to eat?" he asked.
"I'm not sure..." Izzi laughed "what do you think I should eat?"

Joel finished getting there drinks and walked back out and over to there table. "here you are" He said setting them on the table, "are you ready to order yet or do you still need a few more minutes?"

James smiled "I think we're ready to order" he said.

"okay" Joel said getting his little note pad and pen out.

Izzi ordered and then James.

Joel wrote it down then left and went to the kitchen.

Izzi watched him leave and then turned back to her brother. They started chatting, the great thing was that they could talk for hours about nothing and never get bored.

Joel came back a little while later with there food. Set there food down in front of them, "if you need anything else just asked" He said and walked away o attend to the other people.

Izzi said 'thank you' and put her napkin on her lap. Her brother did the same and they started eating.

Joel kept glancing over at her as he went about severing people.

Izzi took a sip of her drink and kept talking to her brother. Though she could feel someone watching her.

Izzi asked ehr brother to excuse her for a moment and got up. She walked towards the ladies room and bumped in to the boy by acsident.

Joel almost spilled the tray he was carrying but manigged to stop it, "I'm very sorry miss" he said before walking off. He preffered that he didn't stop and talk to people after running into them it always ended bad for him.

Joel was hitting himself inside, god your so dumb why can't you get anything stinken ohh muffin.. he thought as baske of muffins was set at one of the tables.

Izzi washed her hands and face then sat on the couch. She always loved it when they had couches in the bathroom. She walked back out again and walked towards her table.

Joel stared at the muffins awhile then shook his head, focas you can eat all the muffins you want at home...I like muffins.. he thought going back to his waiter stuff.

Izzi sat back down. Her brother and her had finished their food before she left and they were ready to order dessert.

Joel walked past there table just kind of looking around seeing if anyone was done of course he wasn't paying much attention.

Joel stopped at there table, "are you two done with whose?" he asked pointing at the plates.

"Yes" James said smileing. Izzi just noded blushing a little. He really was cute.

"okay are you going to have desert?" he asked picking up there plates.

"Yes I think we will" James said smileing.

Izzi watched him for a little while.
James had started to notice her staring at what he thought was rando things, but hadn't said anything until now. "Isabela what is it?" he asked.
Izzi smiled at him, she loved it when he used her full name "Nothing... just I think I've met the waiter at the coffee shop before."

Joel came back and set to menus on the table, "here you go" he said and walked away.

Joel walked into the kitchen and got some other people there drinks then came back to there table, "are you ready to order?" he asked.

James nodded and ordered his, then he turned to Izzi. Izzi blushed a little "Well what would you recomend?" she asked the boy.

"I don't know I never had the deserts here.." He said thoughtfully. Yeah he had eaten here alot but never once gotten desert.

Izzi sighed "Alright well... just give me some pie ala-mode."

Joel wote it down an walked away to the kitchen.

Izzi started takling to her brother about halloween. It was comming up soon and she still wasn't sure what she would be. They had this tradition where they went around the whole day in their costumes.

A few minutes later Joel came back with there desert. He set it on the table and walked away as some one called his name.

Izzi started on her ice cream. And James started on his food.

Joel walked into the kitchen and sat down sighing.

They quickly finished and sat there talking about lint. They really could talk about nothing and have a great time with it.

Joel came back with the check and set it on the table.

Jake thanked him and opened up his wallet. His parents had given them money for the whole dinner. It was his birthday present.

Joel looked at his watch, ah break time... he said going back into the kitchen.

James drove Izzi home and she went to her room to take a nap. After of course, wishing her brother a happy birthday for almost the 14th time.

When Joels shift was over he drove home and changed.

Joel put on his coat and walked do to the coffee shop. He had to stay awake untill his sister got home and went to there grandparents house or they would yell at him again.

Izzi woke up and walked through her house looking around. Her brother had gone to see some friends at a bar for his birthday. She desided to go back to the Coffee shop and wait until it closed.

Joel walked in and ordered a got a coffee sitting in his corner.

Joel sighed and took a sip of his coffee looking outside. There was a thin layer of snow on the ground now and every thing else.

Izzi started to work on a drawing she was doing. It was mapping out her costume for the next day which would be Halloween.

Joel sat back in his chair and stared at the ceiling. Tomarrow he would have to walk around in the cold with his sister.

Izzi took another sip of her drink. She was going to be a vampire like the ones from underworld.

Joel finished his coffee and got up walking out of the shop and back down the street towards his house.

Izzi saw the boy leave and stayed there until the shop closed. She then wakled home and got her things ready for the next day, before going to bed.

Joel watched his sitter get off the bus and waited for her to get hers thing. Then he took her down te there gandparents.

Izzi went to bed early. She knew she would probably wake up in the middle of the night to the sound of her brother and his friends. She quickly fell asleep.

Sure enough at around 1:00 her brother got home. She slipped out of bed in her PJs and walked downstairs. James was saying goodbye to his friends. He was half drunk, and so were they. Izzi smiled watching them and stayed in the hallway doorway, out of the way,.

Joel watched tv a little before he fell asleep but he kept waking up everyother hour.

The friends were quietly coralled out of the house, with a little bit of help from Izzi and James went back to his room. Izzi locked the door just in case and went up to her bed.

the next morning Joel woke up earlier then normal and showered then went to the coffee shop. He had school to day and he knew he wouldn't stay awake through all his classes.

Izzi got up a little later and got dressed in her costume. She was wearing tight black plether and high lace up boots that she had borrowed off of her brother's friend. She also had a black trench. She did her make-up and put gell in her hair so it was all stringy before going outside.

Joel had fallen asleep at the shop drooling on the table.

Izzi came in and sat at her table. She looked around there were a few others dressed up also. She saw the same boy from yesterday asleep at his table.

His watch deeped and he sat up looking around. He swore and got up walking out.

Izzi could hold down a laugh when she saw him walking out. The waitress though ran after him. He had forgoten to pay his bill.

He sighed and paid her then ran off down the steet. Then ran back and gradded his bag.

Izzi was now laughing rather loudly as she watched him from her seat near the door.

Joel walked down the street to school his face beet red.

Izzi looked at her own watch though and saw that she had to leave too. She picked up her stuff and payed then ran out. Her brother was already outside ready to take her to school.

Izzi thanksed her brother and walked into school she walked down the hall to her first class.

Joel maniged to stay awake through all of his class some how. He was hoping that after he ate it would be easier.

The bell rang and Izzi also got up running to her class.

Joel fell asleep for his last few classes unable to stay awake.

Finally school went to her locker and tried to open it, it was stuck. She tried looking inside and realized that the ganitor had played a trick on her by rubber samenting her locker closed.

Joel walked past her seeing she couldn't open her locker. The ganitor always did that to him and by now he had figured out how to undo it, "do you need help?" he asked her.

Izzi looked up surprised. "Ummmm... yeah I do" she said blushing and looking down at her shoes.

Joel quickly opened the locker after playing around with a few things. "there you go." he said smiling.

"Thank you" Izzi said smileing back a little. He was even cuter up close.

Joel smiled, "anytime" He said walking away.

"Wait..." Izzi said running after him. "I want to thank you more... umm... do you want to go for lunch at the coffe shop? my treat..." she said getting quieter towards teh end and turning redder.

Joel smiled, "yeah that sounds nice" he said.

Izzi looked up at smiled "Really?" she said her eyes lighting up "Alright I just have to put my books away and then I'll be right back ok?"

Izzi grinned and ran back to her locker, stuffing her books in it and running back.

Joel walked out of school with her and down to the coffee shop.

Izzi smiled and walked in walking over to her table with him. The waitress gave her a amussed looked when she saw that she had a boy with her.

Joel sat across from her and order some tea.

Izzi smiled and ordered some got cocoa. "So how did you learn how to open the locker?" she asked trying tostart up a conversation "I usually just stand there with my scissors and try and cut it apart...." she laughed

Joel chuckled, " the ganitor is my grandpa's friend so he does that to me a lot" He said sighing.

"Ohhh ok," Izzi said smileing "I still haven't found the reason for him targeting me though..."

"and you probley never will.." He said shaking his head.

Izzi laughed a little "So he enjoys targeting random students?" she asked. Their drinks arived and the waitress shot Izzi another look which made her blush. The one bad thing about the coffee shop was that her brother's friends worked there.

Joel smiled, "you know you're really cute when you blush.." he said softly.

Izzi turned and blushed harder, while trying to stop blushing. "W-what?" she said not believeing if she had heard correctly or not.

"O-ohhh..." Izzi said taking a sip of her hot cocoa. She was soo confused, she had never really had a boy say something like taht to her.

Joel chuckled and set his tea down.

"so what classes are you taking?" Joel asked.

Izzi shrugged "French, art, gym, Euro history, and the dreaded Geomatry... dundundundun.... I swear it's from hell!" she laughed.

"It is.." Joel said laughing, " I had to take it twince because I failed the first time."

Izzi laughed "Well I guess you're a pro at it now since you've done it twice.... maybe you could help me" she said watching him.

Joel grinned, "yeah I coul if you really wanted me too." He siad.

Izzi nodded "Yes I would really like you to..."

"okay you pick when and where" He said taking another sip of tea.

Izzi smiled "Why do I have to pick?" she asked.

"because thats your job.." he said, but really it was because he didn't feel like think of one himself.

Izzi laughed a little "Alright... well how about tomorrow after school here?" she asked.

"Okay sounds good" He said smiling. He looked down at his tea cup, it was empty.

"yeah sure.." He said staring at the empty cup.

"Alright..." Izzi said smieling a little. He saw her brother's friend James walking around and asked him to bring another tea. James gave her a strange look and went into tehback.

Joel chuckled a little taking up sip of tea.

Joel looked out the window and sighed it was snowing again.

Izzi finished it and smiled at Joel "By the way, my brother's having a haloween party tonight would you like to come?"

"I would but I can't I have to walk around with my little sister." Joel said sighing.

"How old is she?" Izzi asked "My cousins will be there..."

"She's ten" He said taking another sip of tea, "and beside I don't have a costume.."

Izzi smiled "Well my cousins are comming... they're 10 also. And your costume doesn't have to be anything that alaberate or anything.

"I guess I'll come for a little I'll find some kind of costume..." he said smiling a little.

Izzi's face lit up "Oh really?!" she said happily.

"yeah really" Joel said looking at his watch, "oh crap I have to go get my sister..." he said standing up.

"Oh alright... well here I'll give you address for the party tonight ok?" Izzi said quickly jotting down her address.

Joel waited, he could stay longer really but he wanted to start looking for a costum early.

Izzi smiled "Here..." she said quietly, giving him her address.

"thanks see you later.." he said walking out of the shop and to his appartment.

Izzi smiled watching him leave and got up paying.

Joel got to his appatment and went it looking around for something he could use as a costume.

Izzi got home and helped her brother decorate.

Joel found stuff for a vampire costume so he put it on and added a few things with the help of his sister.

Izzi started out setting food out, of course taking a handful of everything beforehand.

Joel helped his sister into her costume and sighed sitting down, he was still really tired.

Right as Izzi finished he cousins came.

Katie his sister poked him, "you know if you don't want to be late we have to leave now.." She whined.
"I know I know one more minute.." He said sitting up rubbing his eyes.

Izzi put on some haloweeny music and went into the bathroom one more time to reapply her make-up. Her one cousin was dressed up as a rather cute pirate, and his little sister was a muffin. James was dressed up like a English Gentalman. Izzi had told him that he wasn't allowed to be anything scary because their little cousin was there, but she really knew that he was saposed to be Jack the Ripper.

Joel wondered if any of his friends woul be there knowing them they would have found out about it some how and would go.

James's friends started arriving Izzi had told them the same thing, they weren't allowed taht much gore. Of course James's one friend Bella dressed up like a prostitute, but Izzi had been expecting that. Luckily the little kids would be going into another room before all of the 'other' guests arrived.

Joel finally got up an left with Katie who was bugging him about leaving. She had never really been to a halloween party before.

More and more people showed up, some of them dressed scarily other dressed up like dolls and blumblebees.

Joel parked and got out walking up to the door.

Izzi was walking around talking to people and eating.

Joel walked in with Katie was wide eyed looking around at all the people.

Izzi noticed the boy walk in and hurried over to the door to greet him.

Joel was answering quistions nonstop because katie wouldn't shut up, "Joel whats that Joel is that suposed to look like that oh look at the Joel isn't that cool.."

Izzi walked over and smiled at him. "Hello" she said grinning at him "Oh and this must be your sister..." she said hearing Katie's nonstop chatter.

"Hey Joel is that your girlfriend.." Katie asked lookinf up at her.
"huh! no..." Joel said turning bright red but the white make up covered it up.

Izzi smiled, showing her fake fangs, and blushed also. Though you could see it through the make-up.

"ohh okay well if you ask me..." She cut off as Joel covered her mouth he knew she was going to say she should be and that he was stupid because she wasn't.

Izzi blushed deeper, she also knew what the girl was going to say. All little sisters were always the same.

Joel looked around he felt very uncomfortable now.

"Well come with me Katie I'll introduce you to my cousin!" Izzi said smileing at her.

"aw do I have too.." She asked sadly.
"yes you do.." Joel said still blushing a little.
"okay fine.." Katie said sighing a little she liked looking at all the weird peoples costumes.

Izzi grinned "Alright follow me!" she said starting to walk off through the crowed of people.

Joel followed only because he really had nothing else to do.

Izzi introduced Katie to her cousin Jac.

Izzi watched them a little before turning back to Joel. "Wow you came!" she said smileing, she hadn't been sure if he would or not.

Izzi laughed a little "Well... do you want something to drink?" she asked.

Izzi smiled at him "Alright follow me" she said taking his hand. She quickly realized what she had done and let go of it, blushing. "Right umm..." she said "Uhh yeah follow..." she started walking off through the people agian, blushing madly.

Izzi led him into the living room and over to the coolers. "Alright well we've got... soda in the blue one, water in the green one, and beer and other alcaholic stuff in the red one with the caution tape... we normally tell our cousins that there's a deadly beast in that one. They make sure to stay away from it that way" Izzi said laughing a little.

Joel chuckled and got some soda, "that would never work with Katie.." Joel sid smiling.

Izzi smiled getting the same thing as him "Yes well I guess we've been blessed, or cursed, with gaulable cousins..." she said laughing, and opening her soda with a pop.

"Katie would believe it alright but she would just have to see it so she could say she's seem a monster.." Joel said opening his pop and taking a drink.

Izzi laughed also drinking some, and taking a handful of chips from the bowl.

Joel took some chips to, at home he never got any because Katie always ate them all.

Izzi laughed a little "I just realized that I don't even know your name!" she said taking another sip of her soda.

"It's Joel and yours is.." Joel Said smiling.
