Me and some friends think that when you die, you become reborn as a baby, yet you remember nothing of your former life. Is that weird?

Well, a form of reincarnation.
Nope! My friend and I kind of believe something like that as well.

Actually, a lot of people believe in that.
Kind of cool in my perspective.
Coming back as another person or even possibly an animal.

Not particularly weird, no. At least not to me. The notion of reincarnation is a common one. In fact, it's an integral part of some Eastern religious philosophies, like Buddhism and so forth.

If we were reborn as babies, not remembering anything, wouldn't other people recognize you later when you grow up?

I beleive that too. Only in rare occations people rememeber things from their past life.

You're born into a different body, with the same soul.

Plus, no one would be alive from your old life when you grow up, unless they were very young when you died, that is, if you were born into the same body. And you don't remember a lot of when you were little anyways.

Oh okay...Cuz I was confused. Well we really have no idea what happens when we die. In my own personal opinion, I think we either move on...or don't and come back as spirits. But that's just my opinion. To simply put it we just really don't know.
