Yumi sat in front of her vanity, brushing her hair and fixing her fake fairy wings. She was waiting to go trick- or -treating with all her friends from the academy. She was going to meet up with her friends, Azuki and Xepho, and her crush, Kuru, at the neighborhood they always went trick- or -treating in which was right down the street from her house.

Yumi thought and re-thought whether or not to tell Kuru her feelings tonight. For the longest time, she had longed to tell Kuru how she felt, but she was afraid that he wouldn't feel the same way back. She was afraid of rejection. She put the brush down on her vanity, tugged at her dress, and slipped on her shoes. Yumi sighed before opening her bedroom door and heading down the street to the neighborhood that they would be trick- or -treating in.

[Aziko]

Azuki sighed as she stared at herself in the mirror, she was going as a witch-a classic. she sighed hoping people wouldn't insult her, she didn't feel like coming up with comebacks tonight, on top of that the pressure of Xepho was still lingering around her, she loved him--he doesn't feel the same way back, he's so cold but so lonely looking-maybe i should tell him my feelings--no, he'd hate me more. she walked away from the mirror, and headed outside.

Yumi got to the neighborhood they were trick- or -treating and checked her watch. When will they get here? she thought to herself.

Xepho placed the top-hat on his head and his cloak on. Hm... trick- or -treating. Why not treat the girls and Kuru to a scare at the local haunted house? he thought. He smirked to himself, thinking of them walking through the haunted house and screaming.

[Aziko]

Kuru tugged on his demon wings, he sighed. ah, trick or treating...this'll be a laugh.. he smiled in the mirror, and walked out of his house, to where they were supposed to meet.
he yawned a bit, and continued walking.

[Aziko]

Azuki arrived at the meeting point, she nodded to yumi.
Azuki stared at the ground and kicked a rock.
she looked up at the fading sun, it was remarkable.

Yumi sighed and said "Finally! You guys are here! I think that I've been waiting for at least... 20 minutes" she paused and looked at her watch. The minute hand hadn't moved at all since she got there and she could have sworn that she had been waiting for at least 15 or 20 minutes. That's odd... she thought to herself

Xepho walked to where they were supposed to meet and saw Yumi looking at her watch strangely. "Is it out of battery again?" he asked, wondering why she was studying it so closely.

"No. I just changed it yesterday. It couldn't be" said Yumi, looking up at Xepho then to Azuki, thinking I wonder if Azuki is going to tell him tonight?

[Aziko]

Kuru, walked up to them. "is your watch broken?" Kuru asked.
he looked at it curiously.

Azuki sighed and looked at the watch. "since it's not broken,or out of batteries...maybe time stopped or something..i don't know.." Azuki
said quietly.

"Oh well..." said Xepho, looking down the street. People had started coming out of their houses in costume.

"You're right, Xepho. Who cares about a cheep watch? We're here to have fun and eat candy and enjoy each other's company, not to tell time. Now, come on!" she said enthusiastically while walking a few yards ahead.

[Aziko]

Azuki shrugged, and started walking with yumi.
she smiled slightly, she loves candy.

Kuru nodded confusedly, and started walking.
he was a couple of feet behind them.

"Come on, Kuru" said Yumi, looking back at him and smiling. After a little while of silence while waiting for him to catch up, she walked up to him, grabbed his hand, and led him up to where they were. She blushed slightly as she noticed that she was still holding his hand even a minute or so after she dragged him up there. She let go, unsure of how he felt about it.

Azuki smiled, and looked at yumi. she saw that she was blushing,
Azuki mouthed the words 'will you tell him?'

Kuru looked off, obviously blushing, he shook it off, then continued walking.

'Thinking about it' Yumi mouthed back. Her mind was so full of thought that she tripped and landed, luckily, in the grass.

Xepho looked at Yumi and laughed. Then he looked at Azuki, wondering if she thought that his burst of laughter at Yumi's fall was rude or not. He knew that if she thought it was, she'd be giving him the evil death glare.

Azuki kneeled by yumi and took her hand, and helped her up, once she was, Azuki death glared Xepho, she smiled "expecting that weren't you.." She said, as she looked away.

"How'd you know?" Xepho asked sarcastically. He kept on walking down the street and was ahead of everyone else.

While Azuki bent down, Yumi started to finish the conversation. "Do you think I should tell him?" she whispered to Azuki.
Yumi was always a thinker whenever it came to things like this. With other stuff, she didn't have many problems deciding on things, but this was different. Choices ran through her head and sometimes she just needed to figure it out so she'd ask a friend, most of the time Azuki.

[Aziko]

Azuki rolled her eyes at him, and looked back at yumi,
"well, i think you should, but wait for proof first that he likes you."
Azuki said, as she smiled weakly. she started walking.

Kuru, walked besides Xepho, he sighed slightly and then smiled a little.

"Gosh! I hate the word wait and it always seems to come up in your advice. I am not a patient person all the time, like you want me to be" Yumi said. She had been patient for months and was tired of waiting, tired of being patient, tired of keeping her mouth shut.

Xepho asked Kuru, "What's up with the smile?" Xepho was wondering if Kuru was up to something.

Azuki sighed, "then go ahead, spit it out.." Azuki mumbled she continued walking, she smiled, and walked faster.

Kuru smirked "why don't we do a haunted house?" He said quietly.

"I'm not going to tell him now. He's too busy talking to Xepho" said Yumi while catching up with Azuki. She was having second thoughts on telling him again.

Azuki nodded and walked faster, she sighed slightly.
Azuki smiled slightly, and walked slower.

Kuru Smirked and pulled on his eye patch.
"lead, the way." He murmured.
he let Xepho take the lead.

Yumi walked along. She was trying to figure out when the best time to tell Kuru would be.

Xepho smiled and took a right at the next corner. There had been a family that had lived there for the past 10 years and every year they would turn their house into a haunted house. "Come on. This way" he said to Kuru, Azuki, and Yumi.

"okay..." Azuki said, she shrugged and followed.
the wind picked up sending leaves every which way.

Kuru smirked, but the his smirk faded, hoping the girls wouldn't get to freaked..

Yumi was the first to reach the door of the house. She looked back at Kuru, Xepho, and Azuki as she ran to the door. "Ha! If you guys are trying to scare me then you'd have better luck if you put a sheet over your heads and claimed to be a ghost!" she said defiantly, trying to prove that she was brave to her friends and Kuru, though inside she was shaking with fear.

Xepho had a sly smile on his face. He knew a little about why Yumi was acting so brave. He could kind of tell that she was trying to impress Kuru. He looked back at Azuki as he walked casually to the front door and rang the doorbell.

[Aziko]

Azuki sighed, and looked boredly at the door, expecting something,
less frightening than an everyday cupcake, to appear saying boo.

Kuru, smiled as Yumi showed how brave she was.

Yumi tryed to facedown her fear. She knew it wasn't what was inside that she was afraid of, it was the timing of people jumping out of the shadows. She also had a secret fear of the masks that people put on at Halloween.
*Flashback*
"Come on daddy!" shouted Yumi running down the street when she was 5 years old. Her dad had walked into the shadows of the bushes and trees. He always loved Halloween and scaring people.
"The boogie monster is gunna get you, Yumi!" he said in a scary voice while jumping out in front of her with his rubber mask on. Yumi cried for half an hour because her dad had scared her.
*Flashback ends*

Xepho saw the door open with no one standing in front of it to greet them. The room was dark as they walked in. The door shut mysteriously behind them as they came in. He waited for Kuru and Yumi to go before him. He felt like staying behind, near Azuki.

[Aziko]

Azuki sighed as she looked around, 'please have no blood...' she prayed to herself.

Kuru walked in front, calmly looking around.

Yumi smiled. Knowing Kuru was there made her less worried. She decided that she would try to keep up the act of being cool, calm, and collected. Right as she thought this, a man in a demonic-looking clown mask jumped out. Yumi let out a loud, shrill shreik of terror as she impulsively clung to Kuru's arm without realizing exactly what she was doing.

"So..." said Xepho, looking at Azuki, "you scared?" He smirked slightly at Yumi's tough act compared to what he was seeing right at this very moment

[Aziko]

Azuki looked taken aback, she quickly regained her self, and looked at him, "nope, not at all..." Azuki whispered.
she began to walk around a bit.

Kuru, looked down a Yumi, He smirked "don't worry.." He said, as
the demonic looking man left.

Yumi looked up at Kuru, still clinging to his arm and smiling slightly at his almost comforting words.
"Kuru, I want to tel-" she was cut off by another person coming out of the darkness with a chainsaw at hand. She knew he wouldn't dare hurt them but still screamed. Her grip around Kuru's arm tightened then loosened again as the man cut off the chainsaw and went back into the darkness. She was still holding on to Kuru's arm without realizing it again. She decided that now wasn't the best time to tell him.

Xepho was quiet and decided to joke around with Azuki and try to scare her. He came up behind her and breathed heavily and noisily right at her neck, like in some of the horror movies.

[Aziko]

"don't even try.." Azuki said at Xepho, some blood suddenly splurted from the chainsaw, landing on azuki's face, Azuki gasped and looked terrified. "...blood..." she whispered quietly.

Kuru looked at her, "what do you want to tell me?" he asked curiously.

"Oh... it can wait" said Yumi, avoiding eye contact with Kuru for now. "I might tell you later" she said softly.

Xepho picked up the edge of his cloak and wiped Azuki's face. "All better?" he asked, knowing of her fear of blood. He smiled at her. Seeing her always made him smile, even if he didn't want to admit it.

[Aziko]

Azuki blushed, "thanks." She said, she contiued to blush though, she looked down trying to cover it up.

Kuru looked away, "okay, whenever you feel like telling me you can."
he assured her.

Yumi looked at Azuki and Xepho. She smiled and looked back at Kuru. "Alright" she said to him, feeling a trust between them.

Xepho saw that Azuki's cheeks were red, like roses. "You're welcome" he replied, still smiling at her.

Azuki smiled, she began to walked around.

Kuru smiled, and fiddled with his cape.

Yumi walked to the end of the dark hallway-like room and went out of the door. The moonlight poured out onto an open backyard full of fireflies. She felt like dancing for some odd reason. She spun in circles to a rythm of her own creation, watching fireflies fly up when she came their way as if to dance with her in the air.

Xepho sat at the end of the room and waited for Azuki and Kuru to exit before leaving.

Azuki walked outside and watched Yumi, she smiled.
the sun started to melt it's way below he horizon, intill the last beam of light shone.

Kuru walked to see Yumi dancing, he grinned and started clapping.

Xepho made his way outside with Azuki and Kuru ahead of him. He gazed at Azuki; in this light, he thought she looked beautiful. Well, in any light Xepho thought that Azuki looked beautiful.

Yumi heard clapping and turned to see Kuru and Azuki standing there and Xepho seeming to be off in his own world. She blushed slightly and walked sheepishly over to the group. She laughed to herself, wondering what the others thought of her. She had never taken dancing lessons and never wanted to.

[Aziko]

Azuki twiddled her thumbs, "so...want to go get some candy?" Azuki said happily, she looked at Xepho , "or we could go hit mailboxes..." She said sarcastically. She smiled, and closed her eyes.

Kuru smiled, he walked over to Yumi, "Don't worry, you were enchanting." He whispered in her ear.
He turned around, and walked off, his face was worried, he was hoping he wasn't acting cheesy.

Yumi smiled, walked over to Kuru, and gave him a friendly hug. "That made my day" she whispered smiling. She let go and started to walk away. After she was a few feet away, she turned around to the group and said, "Are we trick-or-treating or are we just going to sit here all night?"

Xepho snapped out of his trance-like phase that he had been in. "Ooh! Mail box smashing?! Fun!!" he said while grinning. He was silent for a while then asked dumbly, "Oh, you weren't serious?"

[Aziko]

Azuki laughed, "i don't know, Xepho seems to want to go mailbox smashing" She said confusedly.


"but...we can save mailbox smashing for later, i mean we need a sugar rush if we want to do that Xepho." Azuki said.

Yumi laughed at Azuki's answer to her question and Xepho's mailbox smashing thoughts.

Xepho said, "That's true. Let's hit up all the houses that give out the most candy, eat it all, and then, in the darkness of the night SMASH MAILBOXES!" He could be childish sometimes but that was what made him who he was.

[Aziko]

Azuki laughed, "too, the houses then! then...to the mail boxes..." she said while grinning, she started running, "come on! before all the candies gone!" she said.

Kuru smiled, he felt a huge swell of happiness when she had hugged him. "yes...i could go for some candy." He said happily, he started walking.

Yumi walked along, surprised that she had the courage to hug Kuru. Normally, she wouldn't do anything like that but now it was different. She felt more trust and kindness than usual around him. Yumi liked that feeling and wanted to keep it.

Xepho ran as quickly as possible without tripping on his cape. "Coming!" he said energetically. He caught up with Azuki then slowed down slightly.

[Aziko]

Azuki looked back at him, she skidded to a halt.
she smiled, "so are you serious about the mailbox smashing?" She asked curiously.

Kuru sighed slightly, he kicked a small rock, he looked back at Yumi then smiled she looked spectacular in the fading light.

Yumi saw Kuru looking at her and smiled at him. Then she walked up to him. "So..." she said curiously, "what 'cha thinking about?"

"Nah... we'd probably get in trouble for property damage" said Xepho with a slight laugh, "Why? Did you really believe that we would seriously run around at midnight, smashing mailboxes?"

[Aziko]

Azuki looked down, she twiddled her fingers.
she looked up and was blushing, "maybe..." Azuki said quietly.

Kuru, thought about this for a moment,No...I couldn't possibly tell her what i was feeling, she wouldn't feel the same way back..quick make something up.. "i was just thinking about how beautiful it is tonight.." Kuru said. Actually how beatiful, you are. he said in his head.

Yumi looked at him. "Yeah. It is beautiful tonight" she said, looking to the horizon. A light wind blew her hair. She wished that she could tell him. She decided that she would try to tell him. She opened her mouth to admit her feelings but nothing came out. She shut her mouth again and thought to herself Maybe now just isn't the time.

Xepho laughed to himself. He always loved to joke around with Azuki. He fixed his top hat and kept walking until they got to the first house that they were going to stop at.

[Aziko]

Azuki kept blushing, she walked then arrived at the first house,
Azuki smiled, slowly edging her finger towards the door,
"first house of the year..." She said, as she pushed the door bell, sending a rhythmical ding-dong, though the house.

Kuru looked ahead, "there at the first house already, come on let's go get our sugar rush." He said, as he walked faster.

"Yay! Sugar!" said Yumi happily while walking along side of Kuru.

"GO! GO! GO! SUGAR RUSH! SUGAR RUSH!" Xepho chanted, acting childish again. He loved candy and couldn't help but show it on Halloween.

[Aziko]

Azuki smiled, and woman opened the door wearing a beach babe costume, she smiled and dropped some candy into there hands then shut the door.

"what the...she gave me a rock? just like Charlie brown,got on Halloween, so depressing." Azuki said.

Kuru looked at what he got,
Two chocolate caramel ears, and a Hershey kiss,
"cool. Well, not certainly original, but i mean okay." He said.

Yumi got some war head candies. "Yes! These are the best!" she said excitedly. War heads were her favorite candy.

Xepho got a Snickers bar. He looked at Azuki and her rock and said, "Here. You can have the Snickers. I want a new pet rock!" He smiled and traded with Azuki.

[Aziko]

"no, i'm fine..i like my rock thank you very much!" she said,
trading back with him.
She looked at the rock, it seemed to mock her.
Azuki rolled her eyes at it, "stupid rock, don't mock me..." She said
clearly insulted, "here...the rock's mocking me..you can have it.." Azuki said.

Kuru bit into one of the ears,
an ooze of pleasantly flavored caramel goozed into his mouth.
"yay!" he said, i looove caramel... she thought to himself.

Yumi stuffed a War head candy into her mouth. She made a face as she sucked on the candy. Then, the sour taste went away and she was tasting the sweet tast beneath the sour.

"Yes! I got a rock!" said Xepho, grinning broadly,"I'm going to name you rocky! Oh, I almost forgot, bad rocky! No mocking people! Bad!" He was trying to punish Rocky for mocking Azuki.

[Aziko]

Azuki laughed quietly, "okay, shall we hit the next house? since Xepho wasn't serious about the mailbox smashing...." She said, while she started walking.

Kuru watched Yumi, "how can you like those things? there so sour...my head would explode..." He said curiously.

"Like this" Yumi said to Kuru while sticking another one in her mouth, "And I don't think that it's possible for someone's head to explode from candy unless it literally is explosive."

"Rocky says he wants to go get some more candy and so do I!" said Xepho, placing Rocky into his pocket, "Now, you be good, Rocky. And don't you cause any trouble in there young man or I'm going to leave you in the grass!"

Azuki started walking towards another house.

Kuru watched her, "yes, maybe not but i added that to emphasize, things." he said intelligently.

Yumi smiled and ran up to Azuki. Yumi wanted to tell her about her progress with Kuru. "Hey" she said to Azuki when she got to the spot near which Azuki was standing.

Xepho tagged along behind Yumi and Azuki, waiting for Kuru to catch up.

"hey." She said looking at yumi happily.

Kuru walked by Xepho, he was staring at the sky which was slowly fading into a deep grey color.

"Should I tell him now?" Yumi asked. You could pretty much label that question Question of the Day for Yumi.

Xepho noticed that Yumi and Azuki were talking and wondered what they were talking about. He thought to himself, Are they talking about me? About Kuru? What could they be talking about?

"sure, i think he likes you back, should i tell Xepho?"
Azuki asked curiously.

Kuru, took a quick glance at The girls, what are they talking about?

"Well, I don't know. You're the advice giver, not me!" Yumi said, a little confused as to why Azuki would be asking her advice; Yumi was always the one asking the questions.

"So, what do you think that the girls are talking about?" Xepho asked Kuru, trying to satisfy his curiousity.

[Aziko]

Azuki looked at her, "come on! i need to know, should i tell him? should i wait?, it's so aggravating!"
she said quietly.

Kuru looked at him "i don't know...girl stuff, girls like boys..they probably are talking about who they like and stuff...or candy..who knows?" he said, his curiosity seeping out of him.

[akatsukirockergrl]

"Just do as you feel. If you feel like you can really trust him to be your friend no matter how you feel about him, if he doesn't feel the same about you, then tell him. If not, wait" said Yumi while looking down the street.

"Girls are too unpredictable" Xepho said, "Want to go and see if we can hear without them noticing? We won't be eaves dropping; we'll just be 'listening in' like the time they 'listened in' on our conversation about which girls in the magazine looked hotter."

[Aziko]

Azuki looked at her, "i don't know, he's too crazy and stuff,
one minute quiet the next being hyperactive..." Azuki said, she sighed, and kicked a rock.

Kuru nodded, he quietly took a few steps backward, and pretended to be fixing his eye patch, but was really cupping his ear.

"Well, it's Halloween. He's a guy. There is candy on Halloween. Do the math" Yumi said with a slight laugh.

"So are we going to 'just listen in' or not?" Xepho asked Kuru after a little while's silence.

[Aziko]

Azuki sighed "i suppose your right...." she said,
she kicked some more rocks.


Kuru looked at him and mouthed the words "yes, now get over here!"
he tried to hear the girls.

"Well, now the question for me is when?" Yumi said, "When should I tell him? How should I go about it? These are the small details I've thought through before but never realized how difficult it could possibly be in real life." She sighed and got out another War head candy.

"Okay..." mouthed Xepho "I'm coming." He walked over near Kuru and leaned in a little closer, hoping to hear what Yumi and Azuki were talking about.

[Aziko]

Azuki thought about this, "tell, him when all is perfect, when the sun is setting or a shooting star is passing, or...when they saved your life, tell him, when you know he'll accept you.." she said after some thought.


Kuru glanced at Xepho, "boys...." he mouthed to him.

[akatsukirockergrl]

"And would that perfect time be tonight? The sun has almost set already, there isn't a star in sight right now, and I think that nobody would ever put their life on the line to save me; I mean, look at me, I'm nothing to save" said Yumi. She always had a slightly low self asteem, and never considered herself equal to others in the way that everyone was better than her.

"Oh" mouthed Xepho, "Like who? You and me or what?"

[Aziko]

"sure...tonight would be good, i mean it's perfect out, nobody around, no loud screams, and plus we've been waiting to tell them forever...." She said.
"and yes, you are worth saving." she added.

Kuru shrugged.

[akatsukirockergrl]

"Okay, tonight it is. And thank you!" said Yumi with a smile. Then she added, "Tonight I tell Kuru my feelings."

Xepho gave Kuru the okay hand signal. Right as he did this, he heard Kuru's name and looked from the girls to Kuru with a strange look on his face as if to say "Did you just hear your name or was it just me?"

[Aziko]

"and i guess i'll do the same.." she said quietly.



Kuru shrugged.

"Okay. Cool" said Yumi. There was a small neighborhood park across the street from them. It was deserted that night. She ran towards the empty swing set and stood there. "Come on you guys!" said Yumi, "Want to take a break from the candy gathering and have some fun?" She hopped on the swing and waited for Kuru, Xepho, and Azuki to join her at the park.

"I think that Yumi is talking about you" mouthed Xepho, starting to walk over to the park. He decided that he'd try to enjoy himself at the park, even though he didn't know who Azuki was talking about. He couldn't help but wonder, Does Azuki like me? Was she talking about someone else? I hope that she was talking about me and not anyone else. Am I too hyper for her tonight? Guess it's just the candy.

[Aziko]

Azuki ran over too the park, she hopped onto one of the six swings.
she smiled and looked over at the guys, "come on!" she said.

Kuru looked at Yumi, he started thinking,
could she like me? i am...nice and she did hug me..but we are friends any normal friends hug...does she?
he walked over to the playground.

Yumi pinched the bottom of her dress between her legs as she swung. Higher and higher she went, feeling as if she could almost touch the moon. Right as she closed her eyes, the swing went back and she was leaning forward. Her eyes opened immediately and she fell at least six feet, thinking she would land flat on her face in the rocks.

Xepho sat in the swing nearest Azuki. He looked strangely at Yumi falling. She is such a klutz Xepho thought as he watched Yumi falling.

[Aziko]

Azuki looked at her, she stopped swinging and watched her,
she closed her eyes expecting something bloody.


Kuru wasn't at the playground yet once he saw Yumi falling, he started walking faster.

Yumi closed her eyes again and put her arms in front of her eyes to sheild her face.

Xepho looked away, he didn't want to watch this.

Azuki buried her head in her hands.


Kuru ran a laid out his arms for her to land in.

Yumi landed, to her surprise, in something other than rocks. She looked up to find Kuru there. He caught me? she thought to herself. Tears filled her eyes. She was scared, not only that she had fallen, but that she made a fool of herself in front of Kuru. I'm such a klutz she thought to herself, I deserve to fall flat on my face. She was crying still and she hugged Kuru and cried into his shoulder. She realized, right at that moment that they weren't completely sad tears; they were partially happy tears because no one had ever done anything like that before. Then, she looked up at him and tried to wipe the tears from her eyes but they kept coming and asked, "You know you didn't have to do that, right?"

Xepho smiled. Then, he wondered, What the heck is she crying about? Usually she's happy around Kuru. He looked to Azuki, her head still buried in her hands, and said, "It's okay, there isn't any blood or any injury. Just tears. Although I have no clue what the tears are about; there are tears." He looked back at Yumi and Kuru and still wondered Why is Yumi crying?

[Aziko]

Azuki lifted her head, and looked Kuru, caught her,oh my...this is such a great time to tell him... she said in her head.
she smiled at them.



Kuru looked at her, he smiled.
"of course i had to,besides i wanted to." he said quietly.

"Y-you did?" Yumi stuttered, "Well, um... there is s-something I want to tell you." She looked Kuru in the eye and said, "Can we go somewhere else so that I can tell it to you without any more interruptions?"

"Okay... since you two need your privacy" said Xepho, listening in on what Yumi was telling Kuru, "Come on Azuki! We can go get some candy from the next house or two while those two talk." Xepho had started to walk towards the house across the street, but right as he was about to cross the street, he turned around and gave Kuru a thumbs up.

[Aziko]

Azuki grinned at Yumi, she ran off with Xepho, a sudden burst of wind sent her hat sky rocketing ahead, azuki ran after it.

Kuru smiled "okay." he said as he walked into the moonlit forest, the cracks of the trees, were glowing with the fluorescent light of the pale stars.

Yumi looked up at Kuru, unsure of the exact way to put her feelings into words. "Um... I've really wanted to tell you this for a long time", she paused to take a deep breath and looked to the ground, "I've... um... really liked you for a long time and I just wanted to tell you that." Yumi spoke quickly and tried not to look him in the eye, feeling afraid of rejection, "I understand if you don't feel the same way but I didn't know so if you don't like me the way I like you, you can just tell me and we can still be friends."
She couldn't help but talk fast. She was nervous and didn't know exactly what to say.

Xepho ran ahead and caught Azuki's hat. "Trying to catch this?" he asked, placing it back on her head. He smiled, and thought of how wonderful she looked tonight and wished that this night would never end. He wished that he could stand by her side forever.

[Aziko]

Azuki smiled, she was blushing "thanks Xepho." she stammered,
she twilered a lock of her hair, she took a deep breath of air,
"Xepho....Um...i...wanted to tell..you that i like you..." she said as she pulled down on her hat, trying to cover up her face.


Kuru Smiled and kissed her forehead "Yumi, I like you to..." he said, he looked extremely happy, and his eyes were shining.

Yumi blushed and smiled shyly. She placed her hands on Kuru's shoulder to support her as she stood on her toes and kissed him on the cheek. Then, she took her hands off of his shoulder and lowered herself to her normal height.

Xepho pulled Azuki's hat away from her face. "Why would you cover up a face as beautiful as yours?" he asked, then said, "And yes that means that I like you too." He held Azuki's hand as they walked towards the next house. He didn't want to kiss her right then and there because he wasn't sure if she would be alright with it and he wanted to take his time with the relationship and not rush things too much.

[Aziko]

Kuru smiled, he took her hand "well, let's not let Xepho and Azuki get all the candy." He said as he started walking.


Azuki smiled, she happily walked to the house.
the moonlight was fading as a group of dark clouds swarmed it.

"Okay" said Yumi, walking with Kuru. She squezed his hand tightly then loosened her grip again.

"Hey, there's Yumi and Kuru" said Xepho, pointing at the figures in the distance.

[Aziko]

Azuki looked over "yep..." she said quietly, but inside she was bouncing with joy, it was difficult to keep it all contained.

Kuru smiled at Xepho and Azuki, he walked over to them.
she loves me...i love her...life can't get any better than this.

Yumi was full of happiness and, from the look on everyone else's faces, so were they. She felt so happy she felt like she was floating off the ground. Then, it hit her; she was literally floating off the ground! Aparently she had become one with her costume.

"Umm... Yumi, you know that you're flying, right?" said Xepho.

"Yeah. Has this happened to anyone else?" answered Yumi.

[Aziko]

"oh cool...i must be a witch then! sweet..i chose a great costume,
where's a broom?" she said, she sighed
"ughh.. i should be worried...never mind that...it's to exciting!" she said.

Kuru looked at Yumi, then at Xepho, then lastly at Azuki who was raving about a broom. "this is weird...this never happens..." he said.

"You're telling me! And I thought it was weird when time seemed to stop without stopping up!" said Yumi, trying to master the art of flying.

Xepho wasn't sure what his costume did, "Umm... abara cadabra!" A single rose appeared from no where and he handed it to Azuki. He was surprised that this was actually happening.

[Aziko]

Azuki blushed "cool, let me try... Mestra Ollizilo" she said a broom appeared in her hand. "where did those word come from?" she said to no one. she got on the broom and took off,
she about was 12 feet in the air, she looked down "oh my god!" she said.

Kuru looked at his hands, i wonder...
he aimed them at the sky a lightning bolt shot out from it,
"wow..." he exclaimed.

Yumi's eyes widened. He has powers too? And Xepho? And Azuki? Sweet!, she thought to herself.

"You okay up there?" Xepho asked Azuki. He smiled up at her.

[Aziko]

"yeah..but it's really high, and this broom goes really fast,
think how many mail boxes i could smash!" she said suddenly absorbing the thoughts of her new found powers.
Azuki concentrated and zoomed higher, swerving in the air.


Kuru looked up at the stars, he concentrated and several started shooting in the air, he tried the lighting thing again, this time several golden stars shot out.

Yumi saw the stars shooting from Kuru's hand. "Wow..." she said to herself as she slowly was lowered back to the ground. Wait, I'm not flying anymore! She had just realized that.

"Oh yes! That would be wicked awesome!" said Xepho at the thought of smashing mailboxes at the speed of light.

[Aziko]

Azuki started aiming down, her broom stick,
was swerving, as soon as she had landed she got off the broom,
it poofed back into the air, and gold dust zapped it back into the air.

Kuru looked at everyone "do think we are the only ones?" he finally said after some thought.

"I don't know..." said Yumi. The street was deserted, unlike it had been five minutes ago. The moon seemed to laugh at her even though she knew that it was impossible.

Xepho stood there and rang the doorbell. "Hello?? Anyone giving out candy here tonight?" he asked, now banging on the door. It seemed that there was no one home; no one on the street; no one, that is, but them.

[Aziko]

Azuki looked around "okay, now this is going to sound crazy, but last night i was reading a dusty old book i found, thinking it was science fiction..and it talked about a Halloween curse...about the one's who find.....love on Halloween suffer this curse." she explained her voice getting quieter.

Kuru looked around he listened, no screams,no laughing,no sound accept for the rustle of the leaves.

"Well, at least we're all here together!" said Yumi, trying to be optimistic.

"That is true" Xepho agreed with Yumi, "And now we can raid houses of their candy!" He laughed slightly, picturing four teenagers, going around, stealing candy. "Just kidding" he said

"yeah..were together..that's good." Azuki said finally,
"besides..now we can smash mailboxes!" she said trying to be happy.

Kuru sighed "this is just..too weird." he said worriedly.

"Where did you find the book?" asked Yumi curiously.

Xepho sat on somone's swing on their porch and listened to the conversation.

[Aziko]

"my attic, i was looking for heirlooms and portraits, to catch up on my heritage." Azuki said.


Kuru was listening and trying to figure out how this happened.

"Did it have a store name in it?" said Yumi, trying to figure things out.

[Aziko]

"yeah, it was from the 'Ye~olde curiosity shop, and it's like from the 1500's." Azuki said.

Kuru was absorbing the information.

"Hey! Maybe, since you have witch powers, you could send us back in time and we could find the store. They might have a book telling how to reverse the curse!" said Xepho, piecing together what he knew.

"Brilliant!" said Yumi with a smile.

[Aziko]

Azuki blinked "sure...." she said.
she stepped back a little and put out her hands, "Mecarso Delinpo" she spoke in a commanding voice, out of her hands shot a purple and pink beam, that linked together making a big swirling golden whole.

Kuru looked at it "who's going in first?" he asked.

Yumi looked at it strangely, "Not me."

"I'll go first. It was my idea anyway" said Xepho.

Xepho looked at the swirling hole and gulped. He was slightly afraid that, by going through this, his insides would end up on the outside. He trusted that Azuki had cast the right spell though, and jumped in.

"Who's going to go next?" asked Yumi, looking to Azuki and Kuru.

[Aziko]

Azuki looked at it, "i might as well.." Azuki said, leaping though it.

Kuru looked at Yumi, "would you do the pleasure of being the 3rd person in a mixed up dimension?" Kuru said, gesturing towards the hole.

"Only if you jump in with me" said Yumi grabbing Kuru's hand.

Xepho fell through the portal, and waited there for the others

[Aziko]

Azuki fell though and landed on the soft green grass.

Kuru nodded, and jumped though.

Yumi jumped through with Kuru. She landed in the grass near Azuki and Xepho.

Xepho stood right by Azuki and held out his hand. "Need some help" he offered to help him up.

[Aziko]

Azuki looked up at him, she gratefully took his hand and pulled herself up.


Kuru landed on the grass as well, he stood up, and helped Yumi up.

Yumi took Kuru's hand. "Thanks" she said, smiling.

Xepho smiled at Azuki then asked, "Where are we?"

[Aziko]

Azuki looked around, she spotted a large tower."London...and by the look of things in the 1500's....it must be here." she said.
she took a breath of air "it must be it the air smells fresher,no pollution yet." she added.

"your welcome." he said smiling at Yumi, "well we should start looking, but first find some clothes...were still in our Halloween costumes." Kuru said.

Yumi nodded her head in agreement. She didn't want to go walking around London in a dark fairy costume.

"True, but it smells like a stable of horses" said Xepho, looking around for any sign of animals

[Aziko]

Azuki looked around "also, we have a bigger problem, we don't have any old English money." she said.

Kuru looked at the city "maybe there's some hand-outs." he said.

"I guess we'll just have to become theives!" said Yumi, smiling slyly.

"Maybe we could find a way to get stuff without having to steal or having to buy it" said Xepho while wondering how to go about doing such a thing.

[Aziko]

"yeah..i think it's best we do what Xepho said, even though it sounds impossible because...we don't want to mess with this time stream, it could mess up the future.." Azuki said.

Kuru looked around. "this is going to be harder then we thought."
He said.

Yumi sat down on a nearby rock. "We can see if there are any clothes that no one wants, and become beggers!" she said. She was oblivious to the fact that they wanted to go with Xepho's idea.

Xepho hit his forehead with his hand after hearing Yumi's idea. They had all known each other but Yumi's crazy ideas never ceased to amaze him.

[Aziko]

"yumi...we'll do that the next time we travel though the time stream." Azuki said as she leaned against a tree.

Kuru looked at everyone "yeah, why don't we discover all the mystery like how the dinosaurs died!" he said eagerly.

Yumi laughed and said sarcastically, "Everyone knows that they died because humans from the future went back in time and shot them with a bazooka. DUH! You should know your history!"

Xepho looked around, still pondering the thought about not stealing but not buying.

[Aziko]

"it wasn't my fault--that T-Rex had it coming!" Azuki said sarcastically.

Kuru laughed "in a bad situation, you guys sure are optimistic." he said.

"Yupp" said Yumi with a smile on her face.

[Aziko]

Azuki sat down and sighed, "any plans yet??" she asked as she began to think.

Kuru closed his eyes, thinking about anyway to help the situation.

"Maybe people here, like in our time, give away old clothes as hand-me-downs!" said Yumi throwing out ideas.

Xepho listened to see if anything came up that might help him come up with ideas.

[Aziko]

"I could do a spell, to do our clothes...?" Azuki said slowly, she had just grasped the idea.

Kuru nodded, "i think that would help..." he said.
"we'll worry about money later,we deal with it when it pops up." he added.

"I want a black dress with blue embroidery!" said Yumi, excitedly. She loved to dress up in costume-like outfits.

"That works" said Xepho, referring to Azuki's idea.

[Aziko]

Azuki nodded, she aimed her index finger, a red bolt shot out of it.
the black material swirled around yumi, forming a dress, with a light blue embroidery.

"Me likey!" said Yumi, looking down at the dress and twirling around.

"I don't want anything frilly and unmanly like the little ruffles that George Washington wore" said Xepho. He didn't like the clothes of any time period other the the present

[Aziko]

Azuki sighed, she pointed her finger at Xepho,
Black material formed, a top hat, and a tuxedo, with a white cane.
"it's only temporary." she said.
she pointed her finger at herself, she was in a dark gray sleeveless dress,and a black hooded cloak.

"i'll just do a tuxedo." Kuru said.

Azuki nodded once more, a tuxedo formed around Kuru.

"Wow... we look like we're putting on the Ritz" said Yumi slightly laughing

Xepho examined himself to make sure everything looked alright

[Aziko]

Azuki laughed, "yeah, well...we must look our best, and plus i bet we look poor, compared to the outfits they have here." she said laughing a bit.

Kuru looked at himself.

"Poor? Yeah right! We look fabulous!" said Yumi, twirling around in her dress

Xepho sat down again and waited to see what they'd do next

[Aziko]

"fine, i admit we look okay. now off to the streets!" she said, as she started walking.

"let's go." he said, as he began walking.

Yumi and Xepho followed Azuki.

[Aziko]

Azuki entered a city, the streets were lit with the light of the sun, and people we bustling though.

Kuru looked at it, "were going to need accents." he said.

"Cheerio!" said Yumi in an accent. She loved the word cheerio.

Xepho laughed at Kuru's suggestion.

[Aziko]

"cheerio, fish and chips and what not." she said in an accent.

Kuru laughed.
"ello!" he said in an accent.

Xepho sighed. He might as well use an accent too. "Ello old chaps!" he said.

Yumi laughed. She had never heard such a goofy accent from Xepho

[Aziko]

"well, we must me off." she said in her accent.
she started walking.


Kuru smiled, "yes, to the shop." he said.

Yumi walked up to Kuru and asked, "What if we can't get back to our time period?"

Xepho followed Azuki, staying by her side

Azuki smiled "well, this is a one and a life time chance, let's enjoy it." she said happily.


Kuru looked at her "we, will. don't worry." he assured her.
although, he was worrying about it himself.

Yumi walked down the street ahead of the others. "Come on!" she yelled back at them.

Xepho held Azuki's hand. He smiled at her and continued walking

Azuki smiled, but blushed a little.
she laughed "onward!" she said.
as she walked faster.


kuru maintained his 'dignity' and tried to act rich.
"why, yes madmossile, we must move forward." he said at Yumi, he walked faster.

Yumi giggled. She walked on some more. Then, she asked, "Where exactly are we supposed to be going?"

Xepho shrugged at Yumi's question and kept walking.

[Aziko]

"to the Ye~olde curiosity shop, why of course." she said.
she looked around, corner deli,clockwork,dress emporium...

Kuru looked around, he spotted a brick store, with a red sign that had blue and black markings swirled around it spelling out...
"ye~olde curiosity shop!" he said, pointing to it.

Yumi ran towards it, but she tripped and fell over right before she got there. "I'm such a klutz..." she said as she laid on the ground. That was the third time she fell that night; that proved that she was officially a klutz

Xepho ran towards the shop, tugging at Azuki's hand.

[Aziko]

Azuki ran with him, once they got at the shop, the doors were golden and were rimmed with thorns.
"how..quaint."she said, trying to reach for the door knob, that was buried beneath the thick layer of thorns.

Kuru stopped and helped Yumi up.

Yumi dusted herself off and walked to the door. She saw that Azuki was struggling, trying to reach the doorknob and said, "You know that you have powers and can use them, right?"

Xepho bit his lip. He was hoping that Azuki wouldn't get hurt

[Aziko]

Azuki still kept, reaching for the knob, she was getting pricked by thorns, "that might mess up the time stream, change the future...you really got to think about those things, it's pressuring." she sadi, she finely grabbed the knob, she had two slashes on her fingers that were dripping with blood, she turned the knob and walked in.


Kuru watched, and walked in as well the room was, sparkling and had vines and flowers all over. he grinned "we made it." he said.

Yumi saw the flowers and smelled one. She was dizzy after smelling it. She felt like she was fixing to faint. "Ummm... guys, don't smell the--" she was cut off by a sight that contridicted what she was about to say.

Xepho picked one of the flowers and was giving it to Azuki. "Here" he said, holding it out, towards her. (Yes, this is what Yumi saw)

[Aziko]

"thanks" Azuki said taking the flower, she examined it a twirled it into her hair.

"Yeah, i agree. you really should not smell them." Kuru said who had been smelling them, he was now holding his head.

[akatsukirockergrl]

"Whew... at least she didn't smell it" said Yumi as she saw another obstacle to tackle; this was not the shop... yet. They were in a green house type room. Venus fly traps grew up from the floor, but they were larger than normal venus fly traps. They looked as if they could swallow a human.

"Umm, we have another problem" said Xepho as one of the Venus fly trap plants closed on top of his cape.

[Aziko]

Azuki punched the Venus fly trap that was on Xepho's cape,
it let go, and shrank back into it's hiding place.
puffs of green and pink smoke, erupted from the flowers.
"cover your mouths, we have to find a switch or a , or a button "Azuki said trying hard not to breathe and look at the same time.

Kuru covered his mouth, and looked around.
there was a blue button behind a flower, he reached behind it and punched the button. the flowers stopped and retreated to there hiding places. a door appeared on the ceiling.

"Gosh! How in the heck are we supposed to get up there??" said Yumi, forgetting her ability to fly for a moment.

"Can't you fly??" Xepho asked Yumi

"Yeah, but how am I supposed to get all three of you up there?" she asked

[Aziko]

Azuki was hopping, helplessly throwing her arms trying to reach.
"darn, almost...no, almost...no!" she said, she grabbed onto the door knob, hanging by it, one foot above the ground.
"how do i open it?" She asked.

Kuru looked up at Azuki "lets, try pushing. when the door opens, yumi and azuki could help us up." Kuru said.

Then, Yumi noticed a plaque on the wall that said, "To get to the door, you must look at things from a different angle."
"Uhh... guys, this might be a clue" she said, pointing to the plaque

Xepho looked at the plaque. "How are we supposed to do this?" he asked

[Aziko]

Azuki dropped from the door knob.
she looked around, "i have an idea!" she said, crouching into a hand stand. she looked around on the ceiling, in upside down letters, which azuki could now make out said 'look around and see, the lever to your left, pull it down to switch things up.' Azuki read this aloud.

Kuru looked around "you guys, there's three levers, one purple,one red and one yellow..." Kuru said staring at them.

"I wanna pull the red one! It's one of my favorite colors!" said Yumi, looking at the levers

"There has to be something else that tells us which one to switch" said Xepho

[Aziko]

Azuki toppled down on the floor.
"well,on mood rings....those colors represent something....
yellow is:accepting,
calm,
and collected.

red is: Jitters
nervous
worried

and purple is: Happy
Joyful
hyper" she said, thinking really hard.

"I like moodrings!" said Yumi, wanting to pull the red one still

"So, which do we pull?" asked Xepho, still staring at the levers

[Aziko]

"i think yellow...because of the accepting part." Azuki said, pulling hard down on it. it wouldn't budge, she pulled harder--no luck.
"we all, have to want to pick the same color." she said.


Kuru nodded "seems pratical.."He said, thinking about it.

"Aww... no red. But whatever gets us out of here" said Yumi, going with yellow

"Okay" said Xepho, looking from Azuki to the lever

[Aziko]

"okay, then.." Azuki said, shoving down the lever, the room rotated slowly, in till the door was on the wall next to them.

Kuru walked to the door, "okay, let's go." He said, gesturing to the door.

Yumi quoted a verse from the Bible that she remembered hearing from her mom when she was little, "Knock and the door shall be opened unto you." She knocked and, oddly enough, the door slowly opened on its own.

Xepho wondered what exactly was going on here. It was like a fun house; it ran you in circles until you went through everything. He looked into the pitch black room that they were fixing to enter, wondering what was in there

[Aziko]

Azuki walked in the pitch black room, her eyes darted from everywhere in the room, she had stepped in a water like substance, she dipped her hand in it and held it to her face---blood.
she gasped shaking her hand wildly. "i think this is your greatest fear room." she said.

Kuru walked in and looked around, he saw no one, nothing no footsteps, no voices...he was alone. "hello?" he called out it echoed back.
he was alone...all alone...his worst fear.

Yumi felt hot breath going down her neck. "Stop it Kuru!" she said. Then, she realized that it wasn't Kuru. She felt like her every motion was being watched, even worse, she felt like she was being stalked. Her eyes widened and she turned around to find no one there. Whispers came from all directions, muffled but still sounding threatening. Chills ran down her spine. Her blood felt like it was frozen in her veins. "S-stalked" she muttered into the whispers and echoes. She felt defenseless. She was so scared that she started to cry. She was afraid that she would die any moment.

Xepho heard noises. He felt something fall around him. Bars were around him. It was like a cage for a human. He felt trapped like a prisoner. He shouted for help but felt like no one could hear him. He felt like the young phantom from the movie "Phantom of the Opera", trapped for some kind of freak show where people would laugh and taunt. He wanted to get out. It was his worst fear, being trapped

[Aziko]

Azuki tripped and landed in a shallow stream of blood, she gasped louder, and she looked around, blood everywhere seeping from the walls. "you guys! we got to find the exit!" she shouted, flapping her arms wildly trying to fling off the blood.

Kuru went running, but he never found a wall, it was like the room stretched forever, never ending. he looked around, no one..
he kept running, "YUMI?! AZUKI!? XEPHO?!" he shouted.

Yumi ran as fast as she could. She bumped in to Kuru who was running around also. "Kuru..." she sighed, hugging him. She seemed not to be feeling like she was stalked anymore. At least, not at the moment.

Xepho shook the bars of the cage. "LET ME OUT!" he shouted, kicking the bars.

[Aziko]

Azuki ran and hit something metal, luckily she wasn't running that fast. she fell back into some blood again. she gasped again and jumped up to her feet, she looked in front of her and saw Xepho in a cage. "Xepho! are you okay?" she asked.

Kuru hugged her, lifting her off the ground "i'm not alone!" he said.
he put her back down, he was blushing.

Yumi smiled at him. "I felt like I was being stalked. Now, I'm with you and I don't feel it anymore. Isn't that strange?" she asked.

"Azuki!" said Xepho, looking down at her. He saw the key in the pool of blood that Azuki was sitting in. "The key!" he said, pointing to it.

[Aziko]

Azuki grabbed it, and shoved it in the key hole, she turned it forcefully. the cell vanished.
Azuki got up, still soaking in blood.

Kuru looked at yumi, "weird, i felt alone--very very alone." he said.

"You won't be alone as long as I'm here" said Yumi as she saw a light appear over a door.

Xepho took off his cape and wrapped it around Azuki. "It's going to be okay" he said, trying to console her. He knew that her worst fear was blood

[Aziko]

Azuki hugged him "yeah, i know. just have to keep my mind of it." she said. she let go off him, and blushed. she saw a light appear in the distance "i think, were free...they must have found an exit." she said, as she walked off the blood squelching in her shoes.
"ewww..." she mumbled realizing what was making that sound.

Kuru looked at yumi, he grinned "thanks, and trust me...no one will come near to stalking you when i'm around." he said.
he looked at the door, "we should wait, for the others." he said.

Suddenly more lights appeared over more doors. Yumi didn't know what was going on. "Not again..." she moaned. She was tired of all the obstacles but guessed that she'd have to go through with it so that they could get out and break the curse

Xepho said, "I don't think that this will be as easy as we thought." He noticed all of the doors and lights.

[Aziko]

"yeah..i'm realizing that now...." Azuki said.
she looked down at the blood stream.
"i'm not going to be able to deal, with that being here for much longer." she said.

Kuru looked around "okay, mood rings is what got us here the first place, then... what'll get us out?" he asked no one.

"I have no idea" said Yumi looking around

Xepho smiled, "If you can't stand it, hop on and I'll give you a piggy back ride to whichever way is out."

[Aziko]

Azuki laughed, "i might just do that." she said.

Kuru looked around, he started pointing at doors "eeny meeny miny moe, catch a tiger by the toe, if he hollers let him go eeny meeny miny moe." he said, the last door he pointed at was purple with yellow stars, it seemed to be giving off a gold glow.

Yumi looked around. She saw that each door was different in some way or another. Suddenly, a key appeared in the middle of the room. "Um... I guess we use this key to unlock which ever door it fits" she said, picking the key up

"Seriously, you can hop on and I'll piggy back you if you can't stand it" said Xepho.

[Aziko]

Azuki looked down, her feet were sloshing in blood.
she looked up at him, "could I?" she asked.

Kuru ran up, to the middle of the room and grabbed the glowing key.
"okay, start searching." he said, as he began trying several doors.

Yumi went from door to door, checking the lock to see if it looked like the key would fit.

"Of course. I just said you could" said Xepho, smiling at Azuki

[Aziko]

"ummm, okay.." she said, walking behind him, reaching up and putting her arms around his neck.

"hmmm...this one? no,this one no,no no no..." he mumbled under his breath, as he ran from door to door.

Yumi found a door. She looked throught the key hole. "I think that this one leads out of this room" she said as she ran towards Kuru to get the key

"That alright?" said Xepho as he grabbed her legs right behind her knees to help her stay on his back.

[Aziko]

"thanks so much." she said, hugging him.

Kuru handed her the key, "you guys, let's go." he said, as he ran to the door.

Yumi tried to unlock it. She opened it and kept the big key in her hand, just in case it would help them later

"You're welcome" said Xepho. He let her down as they got into the next room. He let Yumi and Kuru walk ahead and looked to make sure that they weren't looking back. Then, he kissed Azuki on the cheek.

[Aziko]

Azuki blushed, she stood on her tippy-toes, and kissed him on the cheek.

Kuru laughed, he took Yumi's hand "let's go find the next challenge, shall we?" he asked.

Yumi looked at Kuru and smiled. "Yeah!" she said enthusiastically.

Xepho smiled at her. "You pretty much saved me from my fear of being trapped back there. Thanks" he said. He wished that he could explain exactly how thankful he was just to have her around, to feel loved by her.

"don't mention it, you saved me from like fainting back there." she said smiling.

Kuru looked around, "okay, so how has you Halloween been so far?" he asked.

"Oh. Just crazy and yet strangely fun. What about yours?" Yumi said, giggling a bit.

"Well, I feel like I have to thank you. I would've been screaming and longing to get out until someone found me but even then they might not have let me out. So, thanks again" said Xepho

"ok, well your welcome. shall we find the passage to our next adventure?" she asked, gesturing with her hand, the extremely long hallway.

"strange,and of course fun." he said, smiling.

"Isn't that how all Halloweens are supposed to be?!" Yumi asked sarcastically

"Yes. We shall" said Xepho, walking ahead

Azuki smiled, and began walking.

Kuru laughed, "yeah, well i suppose." he said.

"Yeah" said Yumi. She looked around the hallway wondering what lies ahead

Xepho looked at Azuki and asked, "Want some candy?" He took the little bag of candy out of his pocket and held a few pieces out towards her, offering her those pieces

Azuki smiled, "sure,thank you." she said, taking some of the candy.

Kuru looked at her , "so.." he said, holding her hand and smiling at her.
"wanna, find our next adventure?" he asked.
as he started walking.

"Of course" said Yumi, "When don't I?" She smiled back at him.

"You're welcome" said Xepho. He found Rocky the rock was still in his pocket. "Hey! Look who it is!" said Xepho, taking Rocky out of his pocket

Azuki laughed "great, the rock.' she said laughing, she petted him(the rock).

Kuru laughed "well, knowing you, you'll never want to stop going on adventures." he said.

"Is that a good thing?" asked Yumi. Suddenly, Yumi thought that she was at the bottom of the sea. She would never want to be there. She felt out of breath and needing to reach land but wherever she tried to go only led her into more water. It must've been an illusion, another mind trick. She couldn't see any of her friends like she had a second ago.

Xepho looked around. Everything had faded. Black and white surrounded him on a wasteland that looked like a neverending road in the middle of nowhere. He thought that he saw a sign. "Hell 3 Miles North" it read in bright red letters which was odd in the black and white scenery. No one else was around. "Illusions" he whispered

[Aziko]

The air around azuki got misty, she found her self falling down the out of the sky. she saw a target mark some thousand feet down, but no matter how long she fell, she never got any closer.
she swirled around in the air, "illusions...." she said.

Kuru looked around, the room had gotten darker, he was in a jungle surrounded by jaguars,lions,tigers and pumas. he looked around, everything seemed so real. "it's just an illusion." he said.

The scene of the dark, cold ocean floor was taking affect on Yumi. She was beginning to feel light headed from lack of oxygen because she really had been holding her breath. Her body temperature was steadily dropping and she felt like there was some kind of pressure on her. She fell to what she thought was the ocean floor, unconcious. She awoke in the dark hallway that she had been in before

Xepho walked forward, coming to a gaping hole in the ground. Flames came up at tips of his shoes as he looked down. Shadow like figures danced below him. "Oh my gosh!" he yelled as he felt himself fall towards the Hellish place below. He felt as if he plowed straight into fire. He was unconcious. When he awoke, he saw Azuki and Kuru in trance like states and Yumi getting up.

[Aziko]

Azuki dropped to the floor, she had her eyes closed, she opened them. "woah..." she said, clutching her head, her eyes were slowly moving back and forth.

Kuru suddenly came out of his trance, as the lions,jaguars,tigers and pumas lunged for him. he woke up, still standing his heart was beating loudly in his chest.

Yumi rolled over on her back. She looked up at Kuru. "That was strange" she said, still feeling dizzy and light headed

Xepho checked himself to make sure he was okay. "Whew!" he sighed as he realized he wasn't hurt

[Aziko]

"wow...what'd you guys go though?" she asked, still on the floor.
she sat up, cross legged.

"attack by puma,lions,tigers,jaguars...the usual." he said, laughing softly.

"Oh. Just swimming in the darkest depths of the scary ocean and not being able to breathe. You know, where your body temperature goes down and you feel like a little box is closing in on you because of the pressure" said Yumi

"Simply stated, Hell" said Xepho looking down. He examined his arms again. "Um... what if this place is just running us in circles?" asked Xepho while thinking.

[Aziko]

"yeah, it's probably a illusionist hall." She said.
she looked around, at every corner.
"in the movie's you have to find the.. torch, that's a lever.." she said, looking at the torches.

Kuru looked at them, "maybe...we should find the one that's different?" he said.

Yumi leaned against the wall and a secret door slowly opened. "Umm... I think that it isn't a torch" she said, looking at the door as if to say also 'I found it.'

"Good job, little klutz" said Xepho, "Maybe you do come in handy after all." He peered into the secret door and asked, "Who is going in the secret, spooky hallway first?"

[Aziko]

"i will..." Azuki said walking into it. she turned around to face the others "see...nothings her----" she said, as a trap door opened up below her. she fell between it, falling into darkness.

Kuru blinked "okay...who's next?" he asked.

[akatsukirockergrl]

"Not me. I don't feel like falling into creepy darkness today but thanks for offering" said Yumi. She looked at Xepho and Kuru, wondering who would go.

"I'll go" said Xepho, running into the dark hallway. He fell through the trap door also

[Aziko]

Azuki into...clear blue water.
she looked around, it was a underground dungeon.
she struggled to keep her head above water, for it was very deep.

Kuru took Yumi's hand,
"well...it's our turn." he asked, smiling at her.

[akatsukirockergrl]

"Okay. On three. One... two... three!" said Yumi, suddenly running forward.

Xepho fell into the water and came up, gasping for breath. "Hey Azuki" he said as he calmed down. He tredded (sp?) the water so that his head would stay above it

[Aziko]

"Hey Xepho." she said, brushing the hair out of her face.

"charge!" Kuru shouted, he fell though the trap, plummeting down.

Yumi fell. She squeezed Kuru's hand tighter as they fell. She fell feet-first into the water and swam to the surface to catch her breath.

Xepho smiled at Azuki and swam over to her.

[Aziko]

Azuki smiled, and swam closer to him.

Kuru swam upwards, and took a deep breath of air.
he kissed yumi on the cheek, and smiled at her.

Yumi smiled sweetly back at Kuru and kissed him on the cheek. Even though they were pretty much trapped in this place, she felt happy to be with him.

Xepho smiled as Azuki swam closer. "Now you don't have to worry about being covered in blood" he said. He remembered her complaining about the blood and now that they were in water it should be gone.

[Aziko]

Azuki laughed "yeah, i guess your right." she said.

Kuru looked at her, even with her damp hair she looked amazing.
he smiled kindly.

Yumi saw a ladder that led to somewhere on the wall, near the side of the great body of water that they were swimming in. "Look! A ladder" she said as she swam towards it.

Xepho loved to hear Azuki laugh. He saw that a piece of her hair was hanging in her face and brushed it to the side. "That better?" he asked, smiling even bigger.

[Aziko]

Azuki blushed, "yeah, hey i think Yumi found a ladder." she said, as she ducked underwater and started swimming over to it.

Kuru grinned, "awesome Yumi, Nice eyes." he said, swimming besides her.

"Thanks" said Yumi. She started to climb up the ladder. She didn't want to tell Azuki, Xepho, or Kuru that she was afraid of heights but she thought that they might soon find out. She shut her eyes as she climbed up. "Don't look down" she told herself. In no time, she reached the top and climbed into a tunnel-like thing that looked sort of like a heating duct.

He watched as she started to swim towards the ladder. She swims so gracefully he thought. He went underwater also and started to swim to the ladder.

[Aziko]

Kuru climbed up the ladder, he saw yumi shut her eyes.
is she afraid of heights? he hopped into this heat duct place.
he hugged her, "Yumi...why are you so perfect?" he asked grinning at her.

Azuki started climbing the ladder, "okay, i might as well do it...never going to have the chance again." she said, as she dove back in.
she laughed, as she plunged into the water. this time she climbed all the way, she hopped into a heating duct room, she saw Kuru hugging Yumi. she smiled and looked away, to not be rude.

"I'm not perfect" Yumi said with a smile,"I'm just myself." She hugged Kuru back. She let go of Kuru and said, "Don't worry, Azuki. You don't have to look away."

Xepho made his way up the ladder and saw Azuki, Yumi, and Kuru sitting there. "Azuki, I give that dive a perfect 10" he said as he came into the room.

[Aziko]

"thanks Xepho." Azuki said smiling.

"well never change." he said laughing,he looked at their surroundings.

"I don't plan on it" said Yumi. She crawled through the short room until it split, going three separate directions. "Which way?" she asked

"No need to thank me. It was just the truth" said Xepho, starting to follow Yumi's lead.

[Aziko]

Azuki giggled, she followed yumi and Xepho.
she found yumi with three tunnels.
"umm...umm?we split up?" she said confused while looking at the three paths.

Kuru followed them, he crawled over to yumi.
"any ideas?" he asked.

"Let's go with the splitting up part" said Yumi, "You and Xepho take the one on the left, Kuru and I will take the one one the right, and we meet up back here in about 5 minutes. If something goes wrong, send the other of you two back to get me and Kuru."

"Okay" said Xepho. He headed to the left. "Come on, Azuki" he said, looking back and waiting for her.

[Aziko]

"okay, here i come." she said, heading to the left.

Kuru looked at Yumi, "shall we?" he asked, smiling and gesturing to the right.

"We shall" said Yumi crawling a little ahead of Kuru but waiting for him to catch up once she got a few yards ahead.

Xepho waited and smiled as he saw her coming. "Okay. Off we go!" he said as he crawled further.

[Aziko]

She began crawling after him.

he crawled after her, smiling.

Yumi crawled further. Soon, spikes started to emerge from the sides. "GO BACK! GO BACK!" she shouted to Kuru.

Little bugs started to come out of the walls. They were red and one bit Xepho. The spot where it bit started to turn bright red "I-I think we should t-turn back" said Xepho, slightly scared of what would happen next

[Aziko]

"yeah..i think we s-should." she said, crawling as fast as she could.

Kuru turned around, "come on yumi! you can make back" he said encouragingly, waiting for her.

Yumi crawled back at top speed, trying to avoid the huge spikes that were coming out of the walls. She finally got past them. She was out of breath and leaned against the wall, catching her breath. "I made it" she said, breathing heavily.

Xepho let Azuki go ahead of him. "Go!" he shouted as he followed behind her. Soon, they made it out.

[Aziko]

Azuki took a deep breath of air, "are you okay? you got bit back there." she said.

Kuru looked at yumi "good job" he said, smiling.

Yumi realized that one of the spikes had come up next to her hand, leaving a huge cut. She went to move her hair out of her face but then she saw blood dripping from her hand. "Dang it!" she said as she felt the searing pain, "Ouch!"

Xepho said, "Oh. I think I'm fine. The bite hurts but I'm fine. As long as you didn't get hurt, I am happy." The red spot on his hand had gotten bigger.

[Aziko]

Azuki nodded, "well, i'm glad it didn't like make you turn into a man-eating plant, that always makes me happy." she said laughing.

Kuru blocked the next spike that came towards yumi with his arm, it slashed him blood dripped down, onto the floor.
"go yumi, quickly you first." he said.

[akatsukirockergrl]

"Okay" said Yumi, looking back as she got out. "Come on, Kuru!" she shouted. She saw how he took the blow for her and she was almost in tears. "I love you..." she whispered as she watched his struggle with the spike. "You can do it. I have faith in you" she added. She was fixing to cry. She hated to see him get hurt all for her.

"Don't worry. I don't think I did" laughed Xepho. He looked at himself just to make sure he hadn't turned into anything.

Azuki laughed "yeah, i don't think you did ether." she said.

Kuru crawled back, he jumped out and hugged yumi.
"shhh....i love you so much." he said trying to comfort her.

"I just don't want you to get hurt" she whispered, hugging him back. She burried her face into his shoulder and tried to hold back tears. "I really just don't want to see you go through the pain for me" she said as the tears started to fall onto his shoulder.

"Well, are Yumi and Kuru back here yet?" asked Xepho. It had been a little over five minutes already and he was wondering where they were

[Aziko]

Azuki blinked "i don't really know." she said.


"yumi, i would die for you. as long as your alright, the world is peaceful and joyful. if anything happened to you, i don't know what i'd do." he said.

[akatsukirockergrl]

"I wouldn't be able to stand being without you for the rest of my life if you did that. If you are to die, don't die for me; die with me. My world would be peaceful and joyful that way" said Yumi, hugging him even tighter.

"Should we look for them?" asked Xepho

[Aziko]

Kuru smiled, "i will, I'll make sure of that." he said, "come one, let's get back." he said, as he turned around and started crawling slowly back, waiting for yumi.

Azuki shook her head, "they'll be back in a minute." she said.

Yumi followed Kuru. She smiled as she crawled along, not thinking that he was in pain but thinking about what he said.

"Okay" Xepho said. He turned around just in time to see Yumi and Kuru making their way back. "There they are" he said

[Aziko]

"hi you guys! I'm assuming you hit some rough points back there." she said.

Kuru laughed "more like sharp points." he said.

"Sharp points indeed" said Yumi, "What about you guys?" She brushed her hair out of her face.

Xepho scratched his hand. "Itchy bugs" he said, not knowing what else to call them

[Aziko]

"so, it must be the middle tunnel." Azuki said, crawling into it.

Kuru nodded and waited for Xepho to go.
he wanted to be beside Yumi.

Yumi followed after Xepho and Azuki. She watched for any traps or obstacles of any kind. She hoped there wouldn't be any.

Xepho followed behind Azuki. "Does the spot look way bigger to you or is it just me?" he asked, showing Azuki the bug bite

[Aziko]

"it looks way bigger, what happens if i poke it?" she asked, she poked it. a bug bite formed on her index finger.
"maybe you should put on some gloves? it look likes it multiplies when you touch it." she said, as she put a glove over her bug bitten hand.

Kuru crawled next to yumi, his eyes were darting every corner to maek sure no one got hurt.

"Hey" said Yumi as she saw Kuru come up beside her. She smiled at him and looked forward again just to make sure that no problems laid ahead.
