"If one more person gets on my last nerve today it is not going to end well!" Said Lily as she stormed down the street towards her apartment. It seemed as if everyone was trying to do everything they could to irritate her today, and it was enough to really put Lily in a foul mood. So needless to say her goal was to get as far away from everyone as possible before she ended up taking out her irritation on some unsuspecting victim.

Taylor decided to walk along the streets today. He hated college and preps and dumb people. He looked around to find some one to take his anger out on. He hit the wall as he walked. He then looked up running into someone. "Oh my god! Get out of my way! Watch out where your going!" he screamed at the girl with the purple shirt. (You.LOl)

"Why don't you watch where you're going, or are you to blind to pay attention to anything?!" Hissed Lily angrily as she shot the guy who ran into her a dark glare before shoving past him and continuing on her way. She had the full intentions of ignoring him but even she couldn't say how long that might last.

[Scrappy]

"Shut-Up you female dog!" he didn't like saying the word. He glared at her walking down the street but he then continued on his way.

Lily just glared back at him before a dark smirk appeared on her face. She noticed that someone had left a bucket of water on a nearby windowsill, and with a flick of her wrist the water spilled right onto Taylor when he walked within range.

"See how you like that!" Lily hissed under her breath with a dark smirk as she walked off as if nothing had happened at all.

[Scrappy]

He stood there soaked and angry. "I'm telling the world your a witch. You Wench!" he stormed off. He kicked up dirt as he walked.

"Like I care." Hissed Lily, but though she didn't outwardly show it that had cut rather deep when he said that. She'd heard that threat to many times to count, and that's why she didn't really have any friends in her life. Once people heard of her rather strange abilities, they either steered clear of her or openly tormented her because of it. So that's one reason why she often kept more to herself then being social like most people she had known.

[Scrappy]

He laughed and kept walking. "You care." he was happy no one knew he was pyschic and talked to ghosts.

Now that really set Lily off when he said that.
"Listen up, you don't know a damn thing about me and I certainly don't care anything about you so just shut you're mouth before you make me any madder then you already have!" She growled as she glared at him with a threatening look in her eyes, and needless to say the cold stare was enough to cause anyone to take a few steps back.

He looked at her and turned around and walked away. Really, he had known alot about her. He was psychic, he could see the past and future. "Fne Lily."

"Whoa how did he......oh just forget it." Lily thought to herself as she stormed off, now in an even worse mood then before. Luckily her apartment was around the next corner so she wouldn't have to put up with anyone else trying to dig into things better left alone.

[Scrappy]

Taylor walked along. "I think I just said her name." he looked down. "Dang!" he walked home and plopped down on the couch.

"Why do these people have to be so irritating!?" Fumed Lily as she walked into her apartment and slammed the door shut. She rarely got mad enough to do that but something about that guy really hit her wrong. Maybe it was what he said or something like that, but she certainly wasn't going to figure out what had gotten her so worked up. Better to leave that area alone the end up spending half the night being angry about something she just wanted to forget.

Taylor thought about the girl. Then an image popped into his mind. It was the girl, him and her were sitting on a bench talking and then a big man came and grabbed up.

"Oh come on just stop thinking about it already." Lily told herself as she fell onto her bed. Why she was letting someone get to her like this she didn't know, and it was getting to be so irritating. Still there was something a little strange about that guy, but she couldn't quite put her finger on what it was.

[Scrappy]

He looked out after seeing this vision. I have to stop this. He ran out of the door. He had visions when he wanted them, he had visions to see which way she walked. HE then arrived at her house. HE knocked on the door.

"Who the hell?" Wondered Lily as she walked up to the door and opened it, but when she saw who it was she almost slammed the door shut again.
"What do you want? No better yet, how the hell did you find where I lived?" She demanded as she shot him a cold glare.

[Scrappy]

"Nevermind that. Something is going to happen to you. Its not good. We have to stay together at all times and I have to look out for you, so that you dont get hurt." he held the door open and pushed himself inside.

[princess2708]

"And what makes you think I'm going to believe that?!" Said Lily angrily as her glare never left him. By now he was really starting to grate on her nerves again and that never put her in a good mood.

[Scrappy]

"Look, I'm not here to bother you, Im here to help you." he said quietly.

[princess2708]

"Whatever." Said Lily, her irritation still clear in her voice as she stormed out onto the small balcony of her apartment. Did she believe what he told her? Honestly no she didn't, but what was the point in arguing since he seemed determined to stay and irritate the life right out of her.

[Scrappy]

"Lill- Uhh, I mean ma'am please I am really here to help." he said bowing. "Im Taylor" he took off his glasses showing his unusually silver eyes. It looked like it was water flowing in them.

"Name's Lily."

That was all she said for now, but since evidently he wasn't going anywhere anytime soon she might as well tell him who she was. Although why she even told him when obviously he already knew her name she didn't know, but she might as well play along for now.

As a matter afact he knew everything about her. He looked at her. "So Lilly, are you really a witch?"

"No I'm not a witch!" Said Lily as she shot Taylor another irritated glare. She hated being called a witch, it was so....stereotypical for lack of a better word. In truth, most of the women in her family had some kind of abilities that were a result of the line they came from and it wasn't the first time someone had labeled them witches. But that didn't mean Lily liked it, but there really wasn't much she could do to change everyone's opinion.

[Scrappy]

"Well what are you?" he asked intrigued and confused by the way that she was acting. "Im pyschic and I can see ghosts.

[princess2708]

"I guess the best description would be I'm a sorceress, in fact most women who come from my family are." Said Lily as she ran her finger along the balcony railing. Of course now she was starting to wonder why she was even telling him this, but she could deal with that later.

[Scrappy]

"Do you know a very abnormally muscular man?" he asked. "Who kills people?" he looked serious.

[princess2708]

Lily just looked at Taylor with a bewildered expression on her face.
"No, not that I know of. Why do you ask?" She asked, considering that she was a little confused as to why he even asked a question like that.

[Scrappy]

"Nevermind." he said making sure that he just didnt sit on a bench with her and maybe they wouldnt be bothered.

Lily didn't say anything that time, deciding that there really wasn't much point in her asking anymore questions. Not only that but she was still a little miffed as to why he was even here in the first place, considering that there last meeting wasn't one of the most pleasant.

[Scrappy]

"Oh, Im sorry for being rude earlier. I was a little heated at that moment." he nodded at her in apology.

[princess2708]

"Yeah well just don't ever call me a witch again, got it?" Asked Lily as she shot Taylor a look that clearly said he'd better not or she'd get even nastier then she had before.

[Scrappy]

"Sorry." he said looking down.

[princess2708]

"Alright then." Said Lily, but at least the good thing was that evidently she wasn't as defensive as she was before. That was just force of habit for her, she never did trust new people very well. As a result she kept to herself most of the time and rarely spoke to anyone unless absolutely necessary.

[Scrappy]

He sat quietly.

[princess2708]

"So what's up with all this danger stuff you keep talking about?" Asked Lily after several seconds of a rather tense silence passed.

[Scrappy]

"Vision." he said "I had a vision that a man tackled you and you like were dead." he looked serious.

[princess2708]

"Oh and so that brings up a new question, why the heck would you even care if anything happened to me in the first place?" Asked Lily as she gazed at Taylor with a somewhat suspicious look on her face.

[Scrappy]

"I just do." he cared about everyone, he was caring, but had a short temper.

[princess2708]

"Whatever then." Said Lily with a shrug of her shoulders. He could do whatever he wanted for all she cared, she still didn't buy the whole danger thing just yet.

[Scrappy]

He looked around her house, she was begining to make him angry.

[princess2708]

Deciding that she just wanted to get away from him for a few minutes, Lily stormed off into her room and shut the door behind her. After making sure it was locked she fell onto her bed and buried her face in the pillow.

"I HATE THIS!!!! Why does my life always get this messed up?!" Lily thought to herself as she just let her own emotions rage out of control for a few minutes. At least it always made her feel better after that happened.

[Scrappy]

He heard muffled screams "You alright?"

[princess2708]

"Yeah I'm fine!" Lily's voice sounded muffled behind the door, but she really was perfectly alright. Well physically she was but she was still in a none to great mood at the moment.

[Scrappy]

"Okay." he said staring at the door.

[princess2708]

Lily didn't bother making a reply that time, seeing as she really didn't feel like talking anymore at this point. For now she just stayed in her room after making sure he couldn't get in unless she let him.

[Scrappy]

He sat in her living room. "Is it okay If I turn on your television?"

[princess2708]

"Yeah go ahead." Called out Lily, seeing as she really didn't care if he did or not. At least it helped though that she finally stepped out of her room, but it was clear she still didn't trust what Taylor had told her.

[Scrappy]

He turned on the television and flipped it to the news. IT showed the man in his Vision. It was breaking news, that this man was dangerous. He preyed on beautiful girls and killed them. Taylor looked at her. "ITs him."

[princess2708]

"Wonder how he got out from being noticed until now." Said Lily when she caught a glance at the killer on the TV.

[Scrappy]

"I dont know." he said worriedly.

[princess2708]

"Oh come on you still don't think some idiot would go targeting me do you? I'm sure there's prettier girls he could go after." Said Lily as she leaned against the doorframe that lead out to the balcony.

[Scrappy]

"My visions are always right." he said seriously.

[princess2708]

"Okay, whatever." Said Lily in a voice that clearly gave away that she was still skeptical about the whole situation.

[Scrappy]

"Whatever, if you don't want help. Fine." he walked to the door, opened it, and slammed it behind him when he left.

[princess2708]

"Not like you really care what happens to me anyway." Said Lily and once she was certain Taylor was gone she grabbed her coat and walked out into the dark night. She always did like walking around at night, there were less people she had to deal with and it gave her a chance to think in peace.

[Scrappy]

Taylor walked home into his house. HE really wanted nothing to happen to this girl. He hated when people were slaughtered. Especially by vampires. He knew who the man was and what he was.

By now Lily had found herself sitting on an old bench underneath a street lamp. It wasn't far from her apartment but it was a fair enough distance that she could say she'd gotten away for a few minutes, and really she just wanted to be left alone right then. At least her foul mood had worn off by now but she was still miffed by everything that had happened as of late.

[Scrappy]

Taylor had a feeling something was going to happen.
He ran to find Lily. "Lily!!!" he yelled.

Lily hadn't even heard Taylor since he was still a fair distance away, cause if she had she probably would have heard the note of panic in his voice. However, she was still on the same bench she'd been sitting on for the past few minutes apparently oblivious to the fact that danger was getting much closer then before.

[Scrappy]

Taylor put his hand on his head. IT began to rain, hard. Just like in his vision. He ran some more. "LilY!!!!" he screamed louder. "Can you hear me!!"

[princess2708]

"WHAT?!" Lily shouted when she heard Taylor's voice, and that's when she noticed it was starting to rain.
"Oh great, just my luck." She thought with an irritated sigh considering she'd walked out without an umbrella.

[Scrappy]

"You are in danger!" he said "This is just like in my vision." he saw her and sat down next to her, offering his hoodie, not realizing that the man was going to attack soon. He hadn't realized he sat down.

[princess2708]

"Oh so that's why you chased me down." Said Lily in an unreadable tone of voice as she took the hoodie he offered her and pulled it over her shirt.

[Scrappy]

"Could you stop being such a bitter b.itch?" he looked at her in her eyes. "I'm trying to be serious, I dont want another innocent girl dead." he put his hand on his head again. His muscular frame wet and his hair soaked. He looked like a model. "So could you please cooperate.?"

[princess2708]

"Fine." Growled Lily seeing as evidently she was never going to get him away from her unless she cooperated. Of course that didn't mean she had to like it much, and him calling her what he did certainly didn't help.

[Scrappy]

"Good. Now lets...." there was a ruffle in the bushes. "Shh..."

[princess2708]

Lily just glanced back at the bushes with a suspicious glance as she took a few steps back. If something was back there she wanted to be at a point where she could run if need be.

[Scrappy]

"Run..." he whispered as the man pounced from the bushes and lunged at Lily but Taylor jumped at him in her defense. "RUN!"

[princess2708]

Needless to say Lily did NOT need to be told twice as she started racing down the street towards her apartment. However, she wouldn't get far before trouble would find her again.

[Scrappy]

Taylor was kicked across the street, almost hitting Lily. He layed there, very limp. When he hit the ground it sounded as if he snapped in half.

[princess2708]

Lily stopped and glanced back when she heard the sickening sound, but stoping was a mistake she never should have made. Except at this point she wasn't thinking about that possibility.

[Scrappy]

The man spotted her, walking, a demented look in his eyes. He looked blood thirsty. He got up to Taylor and grabbed him by his leg and picked him up slinging him over his back.

[princess2708]

"Stop!" Screamed Lily as she ran towards Taylor, but she didn't get far before she was grabbed in a vicelike hold. No matter how much she fought she couldn't get free, and before she could even scream for help another hand clamped over her mouth.

[Scrappy]

Taylor awoke in a dark room. His body aching. He screamed in agon as a pain shot through his back.

[princess2708]

Right then Lily was in a different room that was just as dark, but she'd been chained down to the floor so she could hardly move any at all. Her clothes were torn and stained with blood from the bite marks that covered her body, and she was just barely concious from where most of her blood had been drained out of her.

[Scrappy]

Taylor had a small bite mark on his neck. He felt like crap. He felt the lights turn on he was also chained up. But he was chained up against the wall around his stomache and he arms chained to the walls beside his waist. He looked around, and what he saw was most unnerving. MAny people that he knew, females, slaughtered and sprawled out across the floor. He was just glad he hadn't seen Lily. "Lily!" he screamed hoping she could hear.

Despite being one room over, Lily managed to just barely hear Taylor.
"I'm in here!" She managed to call out in a broken voice, which gave evidence of just how much screaming she'd done since she was dragged in here. Being chained down and bitten gods knew how many times was not pleasant, but she was to out of it to do anything right at this point.

[Scrappy]

"I cant move!" he screamed even louder. "ARE YOU OKAY!???!"

[princess2708]

"No not really, they......" Lily's voice gave out on her as she started coughing, but unfortunately she didn't get a chance to finish what she was saying since the sound of footsteps could be heard walking towards the room she was locked in.

[Scrappy]

"Lily?" he tried to shout. It came out in a whisper. "Damn!" he said in a still low whisper. He hoped she was alright.

[princess2708]

The next thing Lily was even aware of was something biting into her neck and she screamed as more pain shot through her body. She couldn't even get away because she was still chained down, so she was completely at her attacker's mercy right then.

[Scrappy]

HE heard her scream "LILY!!!!" he screamed breaking one chain. Then breaking the other. THe next one that he need to break was around his torso.

[princess2708]

Lily didn't even hear him seeing as she was out cold, and if that vampire kept drinking any more of her blood she'd be dead for sure.

[Scrappy]

Taylor could get loose. He screamed so loud. He kicked the wall and the thing broke, he fell to his knees. He couldnt get up because his body was almost snapped in half that day, it broke ribs. He crawled from the room into lilys, he spotted her, and him. "Hey." he whipered gasping for breath as his broken rib was squeezing his lungs.

Evidently the vampire that was draining Lily right then heard Taylor, and he turned to face him with a look that bordered on shock written on his face. How in the world he had gotten free from those chains was a mystery in itself, but he'd take care of that rather easily.
Of course, to bad he was probably underestimating himself right then.

[Scrappy]

Taylor looked at him, knowing that he was going to die. It would be worth it if he saved Lilys life.

[princess2708]

"No.......I'm not going to let this happen!" Lily thought to herself as she forced herself to wake up. Using the last bit of energy she had in her right then she used her own powers to blast the vampire away from her, and then she focused on Taylor. Though she managed to heal his own injuries, whatever strength she'd had left was gone just by using that much power at once. Because of it she fell completely unconcious and only the very faint but shallow sound of her breathing gave any evidence that Lily was still alive.

[Scrappy]

Taylor looked at her, the larger vampire moved and Talor ran to him and kicked him in his head. He ran ove to Lily and ran into the other room. There was no way out from what he saw. Everything was dark.

Fortunately he was running in the right direction towards the exit, but once he got outside he was on his own finding his way back. Of course if he really paid attention he'd notice that they were on the outskirts of the city, and that was definitely not the best place to be.

[Scrappy]

"Lily?" he patted her face. He knew where he was, and this what not good. Especially with both of them injured and one unconcious. "Lil?" he asked shaking her a bit.

[princess2708]

Despite the fact that she felt way to weak to even move right then, Lily managed to open her eyes when she felt something shaking her.
"Well........he didn't kill you I see......" She said in a shaky voice, but she did have to admit that she was actually glad about that.

[Scrappy]

"Yeah. Look, we have to get out of here before he wakes up. Are you okay to walk or do you need some help?" he asked outstretching his hand.

[princess2708]

"I think, I'm going to need some help." Said Lily as she slid her hand into Taylor's. Of course that was new in itself because Lily wasn't much of one to admit when she needed help, but at this point she swallowed her pride for now.

[Scrappy]

Taylor lifted her up. "Wanna ride?" he pointed to his back.

[princess2708]

"Alright, but I apologize ahead of time if I'm heavy or anything." Said Lily as she slid her arms around Taylor's neck so she didn't end up falling on the ground.

[Scrappy]

Her scooted her up on his back. "Your not heavy." he walked along with her and through a bad neighbor hood. He looked worried as he walked.

[princess2708]

Lily just held onto Taylor while forcing herself to stay awake, but that was a battle she was loosing pretty quickly.

[Scrappy]

"Lily?" he asked realizing there was no answer he looked back, realizing she was asleep. He rented a motel room and put her in the room, then he went out for pizza and brought it back to the room.

[princess2708]

Lily couldn't even tell how long she'd been asleep, but despite still feeling like she'd been beaten within an inch of her life she certainly didn't feel as horrible now as she had earlier. Unless you count the fact that she still had gods knew how many bite marks on her.
"Great......this is going to be fun trying to explain." She muttered under her breath.

[Scrappy]

Taylor looked over at her. "Good morning sleepy head. Pizza?" he asked handing her a slice.

[princess2708]

"Thanks." Said Lily as she took the piece of pizza. Okay so yes she wasn't acting like a total bi.tch right now, but she had to give Taylor some credit for nearly getting himself killed trying to save her from that maniac vampire.

[Scrappy]

Taylor smiled and bit into his pizza once more before putting it down. "Welcome." he wasn't really hungry, tonights events spoiled his appetite. He crawled into the other bed. He layed down and went to sleep, but not before say "Sweet dreams Lily. I watch you through the night to make sure your okay." he smiled and closed his eyes drifting off to sleep.

Lily just glanced over at him with a mildly surprised look on her face, but that was before she noticed she was blushing.

"Good thing he's asleep, I'd hate to have to explain that." She said to herself while keeping her voice low enough that she wasn't heard. However, she quickly forgot about that as she buried herself under the covers on the bed and fell asleep.

Taylor woke up in a cold sweat realizing that he woke up twon hours later. He looked over at Lily and saw that she was fine. He saw her breathing and she wasnt bleeding. He drifted back off to sleep.

Lily was still asleep when Taylor woke up, so she didn't even realize that he was awake for that short amount of time.

[Scrappy]

This time he woke up yelling "NO!" he covered his mouth hopefully not wakeing Lily. His heart was racing. He realized it was only 4:00 in the morning. He couldnt go back to sleep so he stayed up all night.

It was several hours later before Lily woke up, and that's when she noticed that Taylor wasn't in the room right then.
"Wonder where he went off to." She said to herself as she shoved some strands of her black hair out of her face.

[Scrappy]

Taylor was in the shower. He was just gettin out when she woke up. He only had a towel wrapped around his waist. Showing off his muscular physiqe.

Surprisingly, Lily was to lost in her own thoughts to notice anything right then. Yeah she spaces out sometimes when she thinks, okay so it happens more often then she cared to admit but oh well.

[Scrappy]

HE walked into the room and put on his jeans, but he left his shirt off. After all it was the summer. He tapped Lilys shoulder "Were going to leave soon. I suggest you take a shower.

[princess2708]

"Huh, what?" Asked Lily as she jumped when Taylor tapped on her shoulder. Needless to say she hadn't heard a word he said.

[Scrappy]

"You should take a shower. We will be heading out soon." he said quietly.

[princess2708]

"Alright, yell if anything happens." Said Lily as she walked into the bathroom and made sure the door was locked behind her before she pulled her clothes off and stepped into the shower.

[Scrappy]

He cleaned everything in the room up. He turned off the Television and sat his inhaler on the bed.

[princess2708]

"Okay there is no way this is going to work." Lily said to herself as she pulled her clothes back on and noticed they were still torn and ripped in several places. However, she smirked playfully as she snapped her fingers and with that one move her clothes looked as good as new.
"I can't believe I almost forgot that trick." She said under her breath as she walked back out into the room.

[Scrappy]

"Hello." he said opening the door for her. "You ready?"

[princess2708]

"Yeah, ready whenever you are." Said Lily as she stepped passed Taylor and out the door.

[Scrappy]

He left the hotel. Closing the door behind him. He caught up with her.

[princess2708]

Not that she was trying to ignore Taylor right then or anything, but she really didn't have much she wanted to talk about right then. She'd never been much of a social person so instigating a conversation was something she didn't excell at much.

[Scrappy]

She just walked up behind him.

[princess2708]

"So, was that why you kept hanging around me so much?" Asked Lily as she shot Taylor a sideways glance. What she was referring to was the way she thought he was annoying the living hell out of her before all the other mess happened.

[Scrappy]

"Yes." he said "I didnt want you to die." he said looking her in her eyes.

[princess2708]

"Oh, well I guess that does make sense." Said Lily as she quickly glanced away to hide the blush on her face.

[Scrappy]

"Yeah." he said he was begining to sweat and his shirt was left behind.

[princess2708]

"Okay, this is getting ackward again." Lily thought to herself as they kept walking without saying much of anything else to each other.

[Scrappy]

"So. How are you feeling?" he asked a bit later. When they began to walk to a alley.

[princess2708]

"Well, better then I did if that's what you're wondering." Said Lily with a slight shrug of her shoulders. Of course she could do without a few of the scars she knew she was going to have now, but oh well there wasn't much she could do about that.

[Scrappy]

"Good." he smiled at her again. "Well what are we going to do. What if we run into trouble again?" his face got straight.

[princess2708]

"At this point, I'd say run for our lives." Said Lily and though her comment could have sounded sarcastic it had a bit to much of a serious undertone for that.

[Scrappy]

"I see." he said nodding "Okay." he said it was late they must have been traveling for hours. Even though they were on the outskirts, they werent anymore. They went in the wrong direction.

[princess2708]

"Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think we got turned around somehow." Said Lily as she glanced around and noticed that nothing at all looked familiar.

[Scrappy]

He looked around. "Oh, my." he didn't know how to get back. This looked even worse than where they were.

[princess2708]

"I'd say in a case like this, we keep moving." Said Lily as she grabbed Taylor's hand with her own and started heading back from the direction they had come from.

[Scrappy]

He walked with her. The moon had reached the middle of the sky now. Some men were staring at him and Lily and his pace had quickened. "C'mon walk a little faster. People are crazy." the people began to follow.

[princess2708]

"Watch it cause we're being followed." Lily hissed to Taylor as she glanced over her shoulder only to see a small group of men following them.

[Scrappy]

"I noticed" he said silently. "Just keep walking." he began to walk faster.

[princess2708]

"That's what I'm doing." Said Lily as she continued acting as if she hadn't noticed the group that was following them.

[Scrappy]

He looked back. The men had guns and knives."Lily run." he said calmly.

[princess2708]

"What about you?" She whispered back, and though she hadn't noticed it she did look worried about leaving him behind.

[Scrappy]

"I'll be fine just go..." he said turning to the men. "Go." he whispered again. He began to have a conversation with the men, when he saw that Lily was gone he began to run too. He caught up with her. "Hopefully we lost them"

"Yeah hopefully." Said Lily as she kept running while staying out of sight as much as possible. The last thing they needed was for her to have them spotted again, so she stayed down as much as possible.

[Scrappy]

They popped from a corner. They had to run in the other direction. They had been running for a good ten minutes when Taylor suddenly stopped. He was holding his chest in pain. He was on his knees.

"Damn! I'm going to have to use it, and I didn't really want to either." Lily thought to herself and with a snap of her fingers, some kind of transparent energy surrounded both her and Taylor. The only way to tell it was there was the very light purplish tint to it, but from the looks if it it was probably some kind of shield.

"You okay." She asked as she glanced over at Taylor with a worried look on her face.

[Scrappy]

He shook his head no. "I left...I left...I left my inhaler...in the...hotel..." he was gasping for air. "Asthma...attack..." he wheezed out. THis was something that you couldn't fix with magic.

"You mean this?" Asked Lily as she pulled his inhaler out of the pocket of her pants and quickly handed it to him. Yeah she'd been smart enough to notice it before they left, and since he walked out and forgot it she'd grabbed it herself.

He took two puffs and put it in his pocket. "Thank you so much!" he hugged her waist.

"W-well, you're welcome." Said Lily as another blush stained her face from Taylor hugging her like that.

"You okay? Your a little red there." he said looking up, his chest aching.

"Yeah I'm fine." Said Lily even though she was mentally cursing the fact that she was blushing like some idiot right then.

[Scrappy]

"Okay." he said standing, up. HE couldnt beleive he forgot osmething so important. He was so dumb.

"Well, if you're sure you're okay I say we get out of here as fast as possible." Said Lily as she snapped her fingers, causing the faint shield spell to fade away just as quickly as it had appeared.

[Scrappy]

He began to run again. "C'mon then." he looked back.

Lily was already following him even before he said anything to her. One thing was certain and that was she did not want to stay in this area for any longer then they already had, so getting out of here was one of her top priorities right then.

He looked back, the men were gone. For sure. He began to walk.

"Well I think we're finally heading in the right direction." Said Lily once she noticed that it looked like they were getting closer to the downtown area of the city. If they could make it there then it shouldn't be difficult finding their way from that point.

"I guess." he said movig quickly.

When they finally reached a more familiar area, they both slowed their pace down a bit but still kept walking as quickly as possible.
"Okay I don't think anyone's following us." Said Lily as she glanced back and caught sight of no one.

[Scrappy]

"Good." he said looking back wheezing and taking his inhaler again. They reached down town. "Now I want to shop." he laughed a bit.

"Okay that was random." Said Lily, but despite that she couldn't help the small smile that appeared on her face. She had to admit that was kind of funny in a strange way.

[Scrappy]

"I need a shirt." he said winking at her. "Its getting chilly."

"Well that's what you get for walking out and leaving it behind." Teased Lily with a smug smirk, but it wasn't hard to tell that she was just joking. Which was rare in itself that she ever did that, but she certainly wasn't keeping track.

[Scrappy]

He smiled "I guess. And I'm a bit hungry." he smirked at her "How about you?"

"Well, yeah kind of." Said Lily with a slight shrug of her shoulders as they started walking down a street they both recognized rather easily.

[Scrappy]

"Okay." he said, he favorite restaurant on this street. "Lets go to Casapullas Sub Shop."

"Lead the way then." Said Lily as she stuck close to Taylor since she didn't want a repeat of anything that had already happened, and staying close to him seemed to be the best way to avoid that for now.

[Scrappy]

"Well okay." he walked ahead of her grabbing her hand in case he needed to run.

[princess2708]

"Oh stop it with the blushing already, he's just doing that in case you need to make a run for it!" Lily told herself as she felt the familiar warm sensation on her face from where a very light colored blush had appeared. However, it wasn't that noticeable which was fortunate for her, but she still hated it either way.

When they reached the subshop he pulled out a wad of cash. "Pick what you want. You want pizza, a sub, a cheesteak?" he asked.

"Well I don't know what you want to go with, but I'll take the sub." Said Lily. Okay so it was a weird way to answer a question but at this point she was beyond caring about that.

[Scrappy]

"Ill have one sub and a salad please? A water and the lady here would like a ..." he looked at her.

[princess2708]

"Just a sub, that's all." Said Lily in a matter-of-fact tone of voice that she normally used when talking to people. Well at this point Taylor was the only exception to that rule, at least for now anyway.

[Scrappy]

"Okay well a sub a salad and a water please." he said nodding. "We'll be at our table just call for us."

Fortunately they managed to find a table near a corner of the room that was out of everyone else's line of sight. That suited Lily just fine since she never did like having people stare at her for now decent reason.

"Why are we sitting all the way back here?" he asked. "I feel all confined."

[princess2708]

"Well, we could always move if you want." Said Lily, while mentally wondering what was so confining about this particular area. Then again, maybe that was just the difference between them.

[Scrappy]

"Well you know what, its fine. I dont care." he sat smiling at her.

[princess2708]

"You sure?" Asked Lily as just the faintest hint of a curious look appeared in her eyes, but it was gone just as quickly.

[Scrappy]

"Yeah. Im sure." he said smiling at her. She just looked so nice, even though he knew that she wasn't.

[princess2708]

"Okay then." Said Lily, but by now she was wondering what Taylor was smiling about. However, she didn't bother asking.

[Scrappy]

His face was straight again. "Do you know how we got these special powers?" he asked her concerned.

[princess2708]

"Well, yours I don't know. As for mine, I've had them my whole life." Said Lily. Believe it or not that was true, and she'd gone through plenty of hell because of it. However, she wasn't about to go into that without a good reason to.

[Scrappy]

"I have too, but I want to know how I got them..." he frowned. "No one in my family..." he stopped.

"No one in your family has them? Guess that's just another difference between us." Said Lily as she gave a slight shrug of her shoulders while crossing her arms in front of her. Actually, only two other people in her family had the kind of abilities she had, so she was guessing it was a pretty rare thing to happen. Of course that was just a theory on her part, seeing as she never bothered to ask much about it.

He didn't know his family. He didnt know his mother or his father. He just remembered growing up in the streets. The junkies and bums raising him. But he was so succesful, he had a job made straight A's in school and he was in college. "I didn't know my family." he sighed and sat.

Lily didn't say much in reply to that. Yeah she'd had a family, if you could even call it that in the most general terms. On the outside they'd seemed to be the picture of a perfect family, but oh how far from the truth that was. Lily counted herself lucky if she even got a second look from anyone she was related to, in fact she wouldn't have been surprised if they never even noticed she left. Okay well so really she ran away but what was the difference, in her opinion there wasn't one.

He saw the looked at Lily's face. "You okay?" she looked sad and angry. He surely was, ninteen years ago he was found in a dumpster in a duffel bag. He sighed.

"Huh? Oh yeah I'm fine." Said Lily as she shook off those memories. She'd told herself when she left that she wouldn't think about that cursed place, and she planned to stick to that as she quickly locked those thoughts back where she kept them hidden.

[Scrappy]

"Oh." their food was ready. He went up to get and he sat it in front of them. "Sub." he pushed it over to Lily slowly. "Salad...Water." he put it in fron t of him and opened the salad container.

"Thanks." Said Lily, and after that she went silent again. True that did tend to make people nervouse around her, but that's just how she was. She didn't like talking much about herself, and if anyone brought up the subject she got quiet very quickly.

He was quiet too, because she stopped talking. He talked alot but at this moment he wasn't in the mood. "Welcome."

Neither of them really said much of anything to each other after that, and the only sound that was heard was the chair scraping against the floor when Lily stood up from her seat.

Taylor got up after her. "Ready?"

"Yeah, ready whenever you are." Said Lily before she began walking towards the door, which was a relief to her because she was all to happy to get away from that semi-crowded area.

[Scrappy]

"Okay, come on." he began to walk out of the door. He stood with the door open to allow her to leave.

"Thank you." Said Lily as she walked out the door then waited for Taylor to join her before walking off again.

[Scrappy]

He came up behind her "Okay, lets keep on walking. Wait. Do you want me to drop you off at you house, or you par...Oo." he stopped, he knew all about her life and family.

"Don't even finish that sentence." Hissed Lily before she kept walking towards her apartment. She had already guessed what he was going to say, but at least he was smart enough to stop himself before asking her something rather stupid.

[Scrappy]

He watched her walk home and into her house. "Well, sorry...Um, bye. Maybe I'll see you around." he turned and walked off to his house, he opened the doors. He then flopped down on the couch. He missed school and work. Great.

Lily just stormed into her room and collapsed onto her bed where she buried her face in her pillow. Taylor's near slip had put her in a none to pleasant mood right then, and for now she just wanted to avoid anything and anyone.

Taylor flipped on his televison. He sort of fell asleep while watching. He heard whispers...Taylor, sauf votre individu, il vient… Translation: Taylor, save yourself, he's coming...

By now Lily was asleep, which left her completely oblivious to the fact that more danger was about to find her again.

Taylor ignored the voices, they usually never help, they were a nuisance, so why would they help now?

"Hmm...I wonder what woke me up." Lily thought to herself as she was suddenly jolted awake. It couldn't have been a nightmare seeing as she had been having a rather pleasant dream, so what did wake her up anyway?

He kept hearing the samething over and over. sauf votre individu, il vient… it got louder each time.

Well since she was already awake, Lily dragged herself out of bed and pulled on a different shirt and some less ragged looking jeans before heading out of her apartment. True it was just 3:00 in the morning but something just told her to get out of that apartment as quickly as possible.

Taylor screamed at the voices. "Okay!!!! SHUT THE HELL UP!!!" he ran from the house as quickly as possible. He ran to a nearby park and began to hit things and scream.

(He is slightly insane...)

"What the hell........" Lily said to herself when she heard some commotion coming from the direction of the park. Needless to say she headed in a different direction since she didn't really want to know what was going on out there right then.

[Scrappy]

He sat holding his head rockiong back in forth. "Stop it! She's going to be fine, the vampire isn't going to hurt...." there was a thud, and then silence.

Right then, Lily could have sworn someone was following her but when she turned around to look no one was even there. By now that was getting her a little miffed so she quickly started heading back to her apartment, but the sense of someone following her still remained.

[Scrappy]

Taylor layed on the concrete stairs of the park, in pain. He was unconciosus but he still felt the pain rushing throughout his body.

Unfortunately, in her rush to get back to her apartment, Lily wasn't paying attention to where she was going and ended up falling straight to the ground when she tripped over something. Or rather someone.

"What the hell?!" Lily muttered under her breath but that question quickly stopped when she saw she'd tripped over Taylor.

[Scrappy]

Taylor could hear her, and in his mind he was yelling out for her to help him. She couldn't hear him. He muttered something. You just couldn't make out what it was he said.

"Okay, he really owes me for this." Lily thought to herself while keeping her thoughts blocked since he obviously had a talent for listening in on what she was thinking. With that in mind she managed to pull Taylor up off the ground, and after making sure she had a decent hold on him began to head back to her apartment as quickly as she could possibly go.

Taylor layed limp in her arms, the pain coursing throughout his body. He screamed out in pain suddenly awakening. "No! Leave me here. Don't go home! Go somewhere else, anywhere but here. I don't want you die. Not today, not now, it isn't your time. But it is mine." he looked her in her eyes. "Just leave me..please..."

"Look you saved my backside when you didn't have much of a reason to, so if you think I'm letting you get yourself killed then think again." Lily shot back at him as she gave him a glare that dared him to argue with her. True she could have healed him right then and there, but it was to risky doing so where someone might see so she had to get out of sight as quickly as possible.

[Scrappy]

He looked at her, his breathing shallow, he didn't want to argue but he had to. "I might have saved you backside, and I'm doing it again, all I'm going to do is slow you down, then both of us will die, so you just go...I'll be fine."

"Oh yeah I'm sure you will." Said Lily as she dragged him into a nearby alley. Needless to say she didn't believe him one bit, but she didn't say so as she sat down on the ground next to him.

"Now hold still and keep quiet. I don't need someone seeing this and asking questions." Lily hissed to him before she closed her eyes and placed a hand out so it was just a few inches above his body. After a few seconds her hand began glowing with a soft silvery colored light that began to heal Taylor much faster then normal. Once she was certain she'd managed to heal him completely, she pulled her hand back as the light faded from sight.

"Thanks." he didn't feel fine, but he walked fine, he looked fine, so he figured he was fine.

"You're welcome." Said Lily as she stood up and once she was absolutely sure no one else had seen that she began heading back towards her apartment.

[Scrappy]

He followed her. "I told you not to go there. Your going to get killed there..."

"Well where am I suppose to go then? It's not like I have anywhere else." Said Lily in a somewhat irritated tone of voice. However, it didn't have the usual angry tone that normally seemed present in her voice.

[Scrappy]

"Look damnit. Don't pull that damn...I have no where to go act" he was getting sick of her and her pettyness, he just didn't feel well was all.

[princess2708]

"I know you didn't just say that." Lily hissed at him, and it was clear from the look in her eyes that he'd hit a nerve right there.

[Scrappy]

"I think I did." he glared at her. "I'm trying to help you and you have this, I have no where to go and I'm so depressed..." he mocked, the real side of him had begun to come out, the side that he was trying to rid.

Now that did it, Taylor had really overstepped himself this time and that was fairly obvious as Lily turned and glared at him with a furious look.

"Look I never asked you to help me seeing as you certainly made it clear you would have been perfectly happy having nothing to do with! So you know what, why don't you quit acting like you've got to protect me every hour of every day and just leave me the hell alone!"

Despite her best attempts to hide it, it was clear from the look in her eyes that what he'd said had hurt her more then she cared to admit. So with that she turned away from him and started running as fast as she could, not even caring if he tried to stop her or not. All she wanted right then was to get away, so much so that she didn't even care where she ended up when she finally stopped running.

[Scrappy]

He stood there rolled his eyes and walked off. "I DONT CARE!" were his last words to Lily. He wasn't seen for another five years.

"Is this rain ever going to let up?" Lily thought to herself as she sat there watching the rain fall. She'd ducked into this small restaurant once she'd noticed the way the sky had darkened somewhat, and sure enough it had started raining not long afterwards. The only problem was it didn't show much sign of stopping anytime soon.
"Oh well, guess I'll just wait it out for as long as possible." She said to herself as she glanced at her reflection in the window. Overall she hadn't changed much over the past five years, aside from the depressed look that always seemed to be in her eyes. Needless to say she'd had a run in with some of her own family that hadn't ended well, and she was still feeling the reprecussions of that incident even now.

Taylor wiped the remaining tears from his eyes. His fiance of four years had just passed. He walked in the rain, he didn't care. Horrible memories from his past had reoccured and the voices had been talking to him more frequently. He wanted to die right then and there. He was all cried out, he had no more tears. No more happiness. No more anything. He had walked into a nearby restaurant and got a cup of coffee, sitting quietly, he sipped his coffee and leaned back in his seat. He had finished college and became a Veterinarian. He closed his eyes and thought about had shi.tty. Life was at that moment.

"Well guess I'd better start heading out." Lily said to herself as she grabbed her purse and headed towards the restaurant doors. Of course she happened to pass by Taylor in the process, but she didn't even look twice at him since she hadn't really noticed him when she passed by. Then again it was probably debateable as to whether he even noticed her either or not.

He continued to drink his coffee and spotted a woman. "Looks familiar." he shrugged and continued drinking. Wiping another tear.

Once she made it to her apartment, Lily quickly changed out of her soaked clothes and just collapsed onto her small couch. She'd actually moved into a much nicer apartment then the one she use to live in, so she had a lot more room to work with now. However, part of the reason was because she wanted to make it harder for people to find her, especially people she never wanted to see again. Mainly a few choice family members, but they were fairly stupid anyway and if they did find her it would take them a while.

Taylor sat in the restaurant until closing. He paid the check for the several cups of coffee that he had and then he left a tip. He had a nice house, but he also had a condo. He went to the condo and changed and fell asleep. He didn't feel to well, he was stressed and congested. Great, more problems. He layed down in the bed. He took a glance over at the clock, then it led to the picture of Clara. His Fiance. He looked at the ring on his finger and he broke down. Slowly crying himself to sleep.

Lily's attention was broken from the show she was watching on TV when the sound of footsteps reached her.
"Whatcha doin' mommy?" Asked a small voice and Lily glanced over to her daughter as the five year old climbed up on the couch next to her.
"Nothing much Isla, just watching TV." Said Lily as she gave Isla a bright smile and pulled her into her lap. Evidently that was enough of an answer for Isla as she curled up against Lily and turned her attention to the TV after her mother changed the channel to something they could watch together.

Red approached Taylors bed room. "Hey." asked Red opening the door after knocking. "Sorry for bothering. I just want to know if I could come and talk to you." he looked serious, he had his spazzy hyper moments sometimes though.

Taylor nodded "Spill." he said ruffling his hair.

Red looked at him "Is it okay for me to still miss her?" he asked putting his head down.

"Your going to miss her regardless if you want to or not. " he shook his head. "I definantly will."

Taylor smiled at him. "Good, because the kids at school said that I should have forgotten about her."

At that same moment, both Lily and Isla were just walking into the park close to where Taylor now lived.

"Alright Isla, remember to stay where I can see you okay?" She asked the five-year-old girl as she knelt down and quickly fixed one of the ribbons that tied Isla's braids.

"I will mommy, promise." Said Isla with a bright smile before she raced off towards the nearby swings once her mother finally released her. Then once Lily was absolutely sure Isla wouldn't try to sneak off she sat down on one of the park benches where she could keep an eye on her daughter.

Red walked over to the park. He was going out for a while. "Ryan! Be back by ten, school tomorrow!" he yelled after him.


Red looked back "My name isn't Ryan, Taylor it's Red!" he yelled back with a smile.

Isla was humming to herself as she continued swinging with a smile plastered on her face. Once she'd reached what she thought was the right height, she let go of the chains on the swing and jumped out onto the ground.

"Perfect landing!" She said as she bowed to a make-believe crowd. Okay so she had a wild imagination, but her mother always seemed to get a kick out of that so why not have fun with it.

Taylor laughed. "I think I might walk the dog okay?" he said grabbing a leash and the Labrador named Lily. He took the dog to the park and let her off the leash. "Come on Lily!" screamed as she ran around. He was trying to catch her.

Isla didn't even see the huge dog running towards her until she felt something lunge at her then start covering her face with licks. She probably would have screamed had she not noticed it was nothing but a huge, and overly friendly, labrador so she just sighed in relief once she saw what had run into her.

"Okay okay I surrender!" She laughed as she tried to shove the labrador off her, but with her being a little smaller then the dog that was kind of difficult.

Taylor ran over to the little girl. "My goodness sweetie are you alright? "Bad Lily" he said hooking her leash back up to her collar and Picking the little girl up and sitting her down on the ground.

"Yep, I'm okay!" Said Isla as she giggled when the dog gave her an apologetic lick on her cheek.
"So her name's Lily?" She asked as she glanced up at Taylor with a quizzical look in her green eyes while pointing towards the labrador.
