Mai and Kiba rode on their dogs as they went down the streets of Konoha.
"Where are we going today?" Mai asked shifting the sword on her back.
"Some mission with Sasuke and Mizuki." Kiba said yawning.

Sasuke and Mizuki said "Oh crap the mission." They ran to find Kiba and Mai.

Mai got off Resse (her dog) and stood on the ground.
"Is that them?" She asked Kiba.
"Yeah," Kiba said "it is."

Sasuke stopped by Neji and Mizuki stopped by Mai. "Sorry we are late." they said in unison.

"it's ok," Mai said with a smile "we were just going to get some ramen before heading off, want to join us?"
Kiba glared at Sasuke. He knew that Sasuke liked his sister, and Kiba was protective over her.

Sasuke was staring at Mai when Mizuki hit him.

Mai laughed as she made her way to the ramen stand. She sat down, with Resse laying beside her. Kiba sat on her left, leaving the spot on her right open.

Sasuke sat by Mizuki. Mizuki looked at her twin and mouthed something.

"a bowl of chicken, and a bowl of beef ramen please." Mai said to Ayame.
"two miso ramens for me." Kiba said.

Sasuke looked at his sister and then said " We have to go now, Mizuki come on." Mizuki said "Huh...'

"What about the mission?" Mai asked "Tsunade-sama said it was for the four of us."

Mizuki grabbed her twin's arm and said "No Itachi can wait!" Sasuke sighed but turned and disappeared. Mizuki sighed and said "You're is big trouble if i find you!!!"

Mai quickly ate her ramen before jumping on her dog, Taiku.
"Get on Mizuki," she said "let's go find your brother."
Kiba rolled his eyes as he quickly ate his ramen. He paid Ayame before getting on Akamaru and going after his sister.

Mizuki said "No thank you!" She turned and walk off trying to think.

Mai looked around her.
"Go find Sasuke." She said to Taiku.

Mizuki sat on a building pissed at her twin. All he cared about was killing Itachi...she wondered if she could tell him what she thought.

Taiku was following Sasukes scent, but lost it some how.

Kiba walk over on Akamaru to Mizuki.
"Sasukes being weird again, right?" he asked.

Mizuki said "Yeah....i should tell him but he would kill me...literally."

"Tell him what?" Kiba asked.

"What i think of him chasing Itachi." said Mizuki.

"Just tell him," Kiba said "me and Mai will be around if he tries anything."

Mizuki nodded and said "Lets go find him...." She had Sasuke's chakra and started to follow it. Sasuke appeared almost in front of his twin.

Mai appeared behind Sasuke and Kiba went to Sasukes left. Thwy were blocking him in.

"Lets go find Itachi and kill him!" said Sasuke. Mizuki hesitated at first and finally said "No! This is not our problem any more....that was the past all you're doing is making it worse! You can go ahead and hunt him down but i'm not! He is our brother." "He killed our family." said Sasuke as he approached his twin his sharigan activated. "Like I said that was the past this is the present!" said Mizuki angerly.

Mai pulled the sword off her back.
"Don't touch her," Kiba said "Harm her and I'll hurt you."
"Same goes for me," Mai said "I might like you but you can be a jerk sometimes."

Sasuke disappeared and reappeared behind Mizuki. He grabbed her and said "Fine i will kill you and Itachi."

Mai, who knew he was going to do that smirked.
"Wrong move." she said.
She did some hand signs and appeared in Mizuki's spot, while Mizuki was now in her old spot.

Sasuke stepped away because he could not hurt the girl he liked. "Sorry bro." said Mizuki. Sasuke saw her hand move in a familar jutsu. She was going to use her nightmare jutsu.

"Stop," Mai said "don't fight like this."
Kiba stood beside his sister, growling a little.

Mizuki stopped and saw Itachi appear. Sasuke glared at Itachi and approached him. Mizuki did a quick jutsu making a barrier around both of them. "Knock it off!" she said. "You act like little kids!"

Mai fell over. Kiba moved beside her.
"Look what you guys did," he said "she fainted because you guys are stressing her."

Mizuki let the barriers drop and disappeared herself. Sasuke said "Kill her first and then Itachi." Itachi wondered why his sister did that.

Kiba picked Mai up.
"Some help you are," Kiba growled at Sasuke.

Itachi asked "Now what did you do to piss Mizuki off?" Sasuke said "She is siding with you!" Itachi shrugged but he did not want his sister to get hurt.

"Stop your bickering," Kiba said "you guys aren't making Mai any better. Help me Sasuke."

Sasuke went over and helped him. Itachi disappeared to find his sister.

Kiba didn't speak while he and Sasuke carried Mai to the hospital.

Itachi reappeared by Kiba and whispered "Better keep sasuke away from Mizuki."

"Trust me you don't want to know." said Itachi. Mizuki appeared in a slight daze.

Kiba took Mai and layed her on the ground. He looked over Itachi's shoulder and saw Mizuki.

Sasuke glared at his twin and saw her smirck. She said "Itachi leave!" Itachi disappeared as Mizuki walked over to Kiba and Mai.

"What did you do?" Kiba asked "Where did you go?"
He placed Mai on the ground. Mai opened her eyes and saw Kiba getting mad, she turned to Sasuke.
"what's going on with them?" she asked.

Mizuki said calmly "I went nowhere execpt to go ask about the mission again." She shrugged.

"You're lying," Kiba growled "stop lying to me."

Mizuki said "No i'm not but i can if you want."

Mai walked up to her brother.
"Just leave it Kiba," she said "lets just get on with the mission."
Kiba turned to Mai and nodded.
"So what did you ask Tsunade-sama?" he asked.

"What the whole point of the mission was." said Mizuki.

"What did she say?" Kiba and Mai asked.

"To get a strange jewel before somebody else did." said Mizuki.

"Let's get going then." Kiba said.

Mizuki nodded and looked at her twin.

"Ready to go?" Kiba asked Sasuke.

"Sure...where are we going?" asked Sasuke. Mizuki said "To the land of death."

Mai shivered and turned pale. Kiba turned to Mai and blinked.
"What's wrong Mai?" he asked.

Mizuki giggled and said "Mai that was my reaction to so don't worry."

Mizuki walked past her brother. Sasuke followed and wondered what the dangers were.

Mizuki lead them into the land of death. She looked around the place and said "I don't like this at all."

Mai grabbed Sasuke's hand without knowing it.
"Creepy." Kiba said shivering.

Mizuki saw her twin blush and giggled a little.
Sasuke blushed and said "Yeah....." He looked around and saw shadows move.
Mizuki heald her breath and kept walking.

"Where did Tsunade say we have to go?" Kiba asked.
Mai looked around her and when a shadow touched her she jumped.

"Some temple in the middle of this place." said Mizuki. Sasuke said "I'm not going in there." He hugged Mai when he felt her jump.

"Neither am I." Mai said.
"I guess it's just you and me," Kiba said.

Mizuki nodded and said "Yeah." She activated her sharigan.
Sasuke watched them go off and looked at the moving shadows that seemed to follow the two away.

Kiba activated a kekki genkai that only he and Mai had.
"I'm worried about those two." Mai said to Sasuke.

Sasuke said "They will be fine...I hope."
Mizuki said "This is creepy." She followed the shadows movements.

"Move to the left," Kiba said as he himself moved to the left.

"I hope so too," Mai said activating her kekki genkai.

Mizuki shrugged and followed him.
Sasuke activated his sharigan.

A kunai landed where Kiba and Mizuki just were.
"That was close." Kiba huffed.

Mai looked around her, something about this place was wrong.

Mizuki kept walking and jumped herself when a reaper or something appeared.
Sasuke said "We are fine here...I hope."

"What the fu..." Kiba said, but got interrupted when something touched his shoulder.

"Something's wrong," Mai said, "Mizuki and Kiba, I can't tell where they are."

Sasuke said "Neither can I."
Mizuki looked at Kiba and said "Move forward just a little."

"We have to look for them," Mai said.

Kiba moved forward, shivering.

Sasuke said "They are fine."

Mizuki said "It is ugly.' The reaper looked at the two. Mizuki felt something grab her ankle.

Kiba was about to scream, but he felt something cover his mouth, to prevent him.

"No they're not," Mai said, "i'm going after them."

Mizuki said "This is getting creepy." She did a quick jutsu so some flames hit the thing holding Kiba. She fell and landed on her butt, hard.

Mai ran off into the dark, she couldn't see a thing around her.

Kiba fell onto his hands and knees.
"What's going on?" he asked.

Sasuke followed her and said "Stop."
Mizuki said "Not sure....but it gives me the shivers."

"I have to find them," Mai said as she continued running.

"Let's just get what we need," Kiba said standing up.

Sasuke said "Stop....you will get lost." He grabbed her arm and gave her a kiss.
Mizuki stayed where she was and shivered and she felt something move up and down her back.

Mai's body went limp as Sasuke kissed her.

Kiba grabbed Mizuki, holding into her waist.

Mizuki held him. Sasuke held onto her.
Mizuki said "This is not cool." She did a quick jutsu to see what was around and said "Reapers....."

Mai held onto Sasuke.
"What was that for?" she asked him.

"Great," Kiba growled rolling his eyes.

Sasuke said "To see what you would do."
Mizuki stood up and said "I see a temple or something."

"Oh," Mai said blushing.

"Same here," Kiba said.

Mizuki started towards it.
Sasuke gave her a kiss.

This time Mai kissed Sasuke back.

Mizuki walked into a dark temple.

Kiba nearly tripped over a rock.

Mizuki grabbed Kiba before he fell and said "Woah." She looked at a black jewel.

"I wish Akamaru was here," Kiba growled.

"Can you call him?" asked Mizuki as she looked around.

"Animals aren't aloud here, they die when they come here," Kiba said sighing.

Mizuki said "Grand."

"It sucks since most of my attacks are donw with Akamaru," Kiba said yawning.

Mai pulled away from Sasuke.
"we have to go get them," she told him.

Sasuke said "Stop....reapers are all around us."
Mizuki said "Ah...lucky." She did a quick jutsu for light but it failed.

Mai placed a scroll on the ground and did some hand signs. A puff of smoke was made a blood clone appeared.
"Ready to fight?" she asked the clone.
"You know it," the clone said.

"How much farther do we have?" Kiba asked.

"No clue really." said Mizuki. She put her hand out and felt something. "Run." she said.

Kiba took off, keeping up with Mizuki.

"Ready to fight Sasuke?" Mai asked.

"Yeah." said Sasuke as he activated his sharigan.
Mizuki said "The temple!"

"Double Fang Destroyer!" Mai and the clone yelled.

"We're here," Kiba sighed.

Mizuki walked in and looked around. She walked forward.
Sasuke did a fire jutsu.

"There's the jewel," Kiba said.

Mai and Her clone destroyed reapers.

Mizuki nodded and then said "Yeah...." She looked around.

"There's a trap isn't there?" Kiba asked.

Mizuki said "One way to find out." She walked father into the temple and the floor fell out from under her. She giggled.

"Why are you laughing?" Kiba asked.

"That is a fake jewel." Mizuki said as she jumped into the hole and said "Its dark and really creepy."

"So down the hole we go?" Kiba asked.

"I guess." said Mizuki from in the hole. She waited for him.

Kiba fell down the hole. He would have landed on his butt, but he somehow landed on his feet.

Mizuki said "Woah...you're not as clumsy as I thought you were."

Mizuki blushed when she realized she was holding his hand.

Sasuke said "I sense Itachi...but not by us....after Kiba and Mizuki."

"I sense Itachi." Mizuki said suddenly.

"We have to go after him," Mai said.

"Oh sh!t," Kiba swore, "we have to get out of here fast."

Mizuki said "He gets the jewel we are done for...You get it I'll deal with him."

"We don't know where he is actually." said Sasuke.

Itachi stood a little ways behind Kiba and Mizuki.

Kiba nodded and ran towards the jewel.

Mizuki turned and fought with Itachi.

Itachi laughed and said "Hello sister." "Hello weasel fellow." muttered Mizuki. She activated her sharigan and made sure Itachi could not follow Kiba.

Sasuke said "Possible."

"Then let's go," Mai said grabbing his arm and running towards the temple.

Itachi went after Kiba. Mizuki yelled "Kiba!" She took after him.

Sasuke followed her.

Mai ran into the temple and fell down the hole.

Sasuke jumped down.

Itachi almost grabbed the jewel.

Mizuki gasped.

Kiba somehow grabbed the jewel before Itachi.

Mai landed on her feet.
"Kiba!" she shouted.

Itachi tried to get it away from him.

Mizuki had to laugh at that.

Sasuke followed her and saw Itachi. Mizuki said "Oh crap sibling rivalry." She was not into the fighting each other thing.

"What's this thing supposed to do?" Kiba asked.

"No clue just don't let Itachi get it." said Mizuki as she stepped between her brothers.

Sasuke growled at Itachi and got ready to fight.

Kiba slid the jewel into his pouch.

Mai stood beside Mizuki.

Mizuki said "Itachi leave now. Sasuke go sit!" Itachi laughed and attacked Mai and Mizuki.

Mai dodged his first attack and worked on using Taijutsu against him.

Itachi laughed.

Mizuki did a quick jutsu to hold him in place.

Sasuke just watched.

"Why are you laughing?" Mai growled.

"Because I can cause nightmares." said Itachi as he did his jutsu on the two girls.

Mai screamed and fell over.
"Mai, Mizuki!" Kiba shouted.

Mizuki also fell but tried to use a jutsu to break it. Sasuke tackled Itachi.

Kiba ran over to Mai and Mizuki.
"Wake-up," he said.

Itachi laughed and then something strange happened. He was also getting nightmares but from Sasuke. His hold on the girls broke for a little bit. Mizuki got to her feet and did a jutsu to realese Mai from Itachi's hold.

Mai stood up quickly.

Mizuki did another jutsu but something went wrong and it back fired. "Oh crap!' she gasped as she crashed into the wall instead of Itachi.

Kiba ran over to Mizuki.

Mai stood between Sasuke and Itachi.

Sasuke did not want Mai hurt so he pulled her away and said "I will stop.'

Mizuki closed her eyes as everything blurred a little.

"Let me do this," Mai said.

Kiba picked Mizuki up.

Sasuke nodded and backed off.

Itachi said "Fighting a girl."

Mizuki smiled and said "I'm fine..."

"You hurt me best friend, tried to hurt my brother, and tried to hurt Sasuke," Mai said, "I won't back down."

"Are you sure?" Kiba asked.

"I'm sure." said Mizuki.

Itachi laughed and attacked her.

Sasuke just watched.

Mai dodged and kicked him in the stomach.

Kiba let her down.

Mizuki watched Mai and Itachi.

Itachi tried his nightmare jutsu.

Mai screamed in pain.

Sasuke was not sure what to do.

Mizuki did her own nightmare jutsu and said "Realese her now!'

Itachi let his hold on Mai drop.

Mai stood up. Blood was dripping from the corner of her mouth.

Sasuke ran to her as Mizuki attacked Itachi or used Fireball Jutus to force him away.

"Sis?" Kiba asked.

Mizuki attacked Itachi.

Mai went to attack Itachi, but fell over, coughing up blood.

"Help her before the stupid Jutsu does more damage..." said Sasuke. Mizuki kept Itachi away from her friends and then they both fell through the floor as it collapsed under them.

Kiba reached his hand out to grabbe Mizuki as he saw the ground fall.

Mai tried to stop the bleeding from her mouth, but it just kept coming.

Sasuke watched. Mizuki said "Something else is down here." She let herself fall. Itachi was yelling.

Kiba jumped down the hole after Mizuki.

Mizuki giggled and then saw Kiba and said "Worry wart." Itachi landed in some black water and froze when he saw the tenticles.
Mizuki squealed when she saw them.
Sasuke went to Mai and did a healing jutsu.

"What the hell?" asked Mizuki. She giggled when she went under and saw a strange creature.

Kiba stayed above the water. He smeeled like a wet dog if he went in.

Mizuki surfaced and coughed. Itachi asked "What the hell happened?"

Mai grabbed her shirt and covered herself more.

"Just what I was about to ask," Kiba said.

Mizuki shrugged and swam closer.

"What are you doing? kiba asked."

"Seeing what it is." said Mizuki. She ducked under water and saw it was a octapus of some sort.

Mai looked up and at Sasuke

Sasuke picked her up and said "Just side effects of the jutsu." Mizuki surfaced and shuddered.

"What is it?" Kiba asked.

"Something we don't want to fight with." said Mizuki. "Its like a giant octapus." Itachi was raised into the air by a tenticle.

"Let's leave before that thing gets us," Kiba said.

Mizuki said "No point...." She felt something slide under her and shivered.

Kiba grabbed a kunai out of his pocket and growled.

Mizuki swam towards him slowly and activated her shargan and looked around. She said "The creature has chakra...."

"Now what?" he asked.

Mizuki said "Shut up." She sent a fireball jutsu at the tenticle that held Itachi so he was free.

"You're letting him go?!?" Kiba said confused.

"Why not?" asked Mizuki. "He can kill me later."

"No he won't," Kiba said.

"Watch him." said Mizuki as she swam with Kiba.

Kiba kept his gaze towards Itachi.

"Not that way." said Mizuki as Itachi followed them.

Kiba followed behind Mizuki.

Itachi watched them.

"How do we get up?" Kiba asked.

"I don't know..hitch a ride." said Mizuki. "Climb."

Kiba grabbed into the wall.

Mizuki followed him.

Kiba went up the wall and arrived at the top.

Mizuki got to the top also.

"How's she doing Sasuke?" Kiba asked.

Sasuke said "Good she stopped coughing up blood." Mizuki was not paying attention to a thing he said worried about something else.

"What's wrong?" Kiba asked.

"Do you still have the jewel?" Mizuki asked.

{Nah it fell out...be cool}

"It fell out," Kiba growled.

Mizuki used her sharigan and said "I got it." She climbed back down and dived under.

Sasuke said "I can't see a thing."

"Keep a watch on Mai," Kiba said.

Sasuke said "You will smell like a wet dog if you go under." Mizuki surfaced and spit out a mouthfull of water and dived under again and grabbed the jewel.

"I know," Kiba said jumping into the water.

Mizuki lost it again and saw Kiba. She looked around and saw the creature but caught its gaze and was motionless.

Kiba dived under the water and quickly grabbed the jewel.

Mizuki sensed Kiba get the jewel and forced herself to look away from the creature.

Kiba came above the water and gasped for air.

Mizuki surfaced and said "You smell like a wet dog." She coughed a little and spit out water.

Kiba got out of the water and shook.
"I'll smell like me once I'm dry," he said smiling.

"I hope so." said Mizuki and followed him.

Kiba made his way to the hole above them.

Mizuki followed and asked "Mai you okay?"

Mai shook her head.

Mizuki did a quick jutsu to get rid of the nightmare jutsu.

"We should get out of here," Kiba said.

Mizuki said "Yeah." Sasuke still held Mai and started to walk.

Kiba looked at his sister. He hadn't seen her this pale in a long time.

Sasuke walked out and Mizuki kept fibbling with a jutsu trying to get rid of the nightmare jutsu from Mai completely because it was still there.

"What's wrong with her?" Kiba asked Mizuki.

"Side effects." Mizuki replied.

[queen-of-meadow-lands]

"Oh," Kiba said softly.

[katgurldiva]

Mizuki said "Trying to get the side effects to go away but no luck here anyways."

"Tsunade shound be able to help her," Kiba said.

"I doubt it...I have done it before." said Mizuki. She kept doing different jutsus.

Kiba nodded and looked at his sister.

Sasuke kept carrying Mai.

Mizuki figured it out and said "Got it."

Kiba sighed in relief.

Mizuki went Mai and put her hand on her chest and muttered a spell.

Mai's chest went forwards as she heared the spell.

Mizuki let the effects drift into her hands where another spell would stop them.

Mai's body went limp in Sasuke's arms.

Sasuke looked at his sister and asked "That good or bad?"

"Good." said Mizuki.

"Thank god," Kiba said.

[katgurldiva]

Mizuki nodded and looked at Sasuke. She wondered what else they would face. She jumped, literally, when she heard Itachi's voice say "Give me the jewel or die."

{Other Akatsuki are there.....Orochimaru is I mean can you act out him just for a lil while though?}

Kiba jumped back, but into Orochimaru.

Mizuki sighed and cast a jutsu at Orochimaru and asked "Who's body do you want this time?"
Sasuke ran off with Mai to keep her safe.
Itachi grinned and tried to jump Mizuki who jumped backwards.

"I don't want Sasuke's this," Orochimaru said, "I wan someone else's."
