I simply hold it. Bathrooms at my school could probably be worse to your health than holding it, quite honestly.

I never go at school... I just don't.
But, if you wanna know about the one time I absolutely had to...
It was one year ago...
I was in English class...
My teacher NEVER called on you when she was talking...
Sooo...
I practically danced in my seat and this was on the day where we got to wear whatever we wanted...
Y'know, for Spring pictures...
So I was all Visual Kei looking with a little tiara on with two ponytails up...
{I was known as "Princess" from then on}
And she FINALLY called on me and I just slammed my hands on the desk and went,
"I Gotta Pee!" like Forrest Gump.
Jup...
Everyone died of laughter and I just ran out before she could answer 'cuz she was about to piss herself as well...

I write a pass and give it to the teacher and they let me go. They give us like ten passes for each term.

We get like 3 free bathroom excuses per quarter...and that's only in one class. But so far I've only really had to go to the bathroom once in school...

Well, I'm homeschooled, but when in classes outside of the house, usually raise your hand and ask to be excused, if the teacher asks why, they're an idiot, and I don't know what to tell you.

I try to limit my use of the bathrooms in my school, they always smell like weed. Lol, I always come out like "WOAH O.O!!"

well for me, I just hold it. I rarely go to public bathrooms anyway, not because it smelled like weed (haha neon :p ), but because the toilets are nasty, and if I had to take a poop, it would be really hard for me to concentrate because of all the talking.
