For anyone who has seen the movie or read the book, its really similar. Though instead of Lyra a differnt girl is taking her place, so basically we are replacing all the old characters with new ones. And we are sticking to the movies plot mainly except for a few things. Oh and Lyra and Rodger are atleast 1 year older then in the book, but still kids. Though 2 other kids are traveling with Lyra and Rodger.
For anyone who hasnt seen the movie or read the books the plot is basically a group called the Gobblers are kidnapping children. Though in this world people all have deamons which is basically a animal shaped soul which walks next to you and is always visible, it shiftsshapes when your a child but picks one to fit your personality the most when you become a adult. So when the kidnapp the kids they take them to the North to a place where they break the link between the child and the deamon, making them live without there soul. Lyra possess basically a golden compass that tells the truth. She and an amored bear are out to stop them, they are joined by the bears freind who flys a thing sorta like a hot air balloon. They then head to the North to stop the GOBBLERs.
