Reflections

Melody walked down the hall, staring at the ground. She looked up for a second, glancing at the grandfather clock. She noticed that it was midnight. Her parents would normally want her asleep but there was something that had awakened her and she had to see what it was. She looked around, careful not to wake anyone. Crash! Something was breaking. It was coming from the bathroom. Melody walked in, peeking through the door only to find a shattered mirror and an open window. In the pieces of the mirror, she saw nothing, not even a fraction of her full reflection.
"What's going on?" she said to herself, peering out the window, into the darkness. She saw what seemed to be a person running in the shadows. It looked just like her, the same clothes and everything. She blinked in astonishment and fear.
"What's going on?" she repeated, trying to sort things out in her head. She knew the person couldn't be herself because she was standing right there. But who could it be?

Later that week, crimes had been reported all over the city and four teens had run away from home. Those teens were named Melody Avello, Daniel Canevar, Kerri Sillion, and Mitch Landry. They all had secretly set out on a quest to find their reflections that have been causing chaos and disorder all over the city. The problem is, the reflections actually have a mind of their own, yet it is a part of the teens' minds, the darker part.
The reflections are always one step ahead of the teens and that is how they hide away. They know what places that the teens will look and what places they won't dare to go. There are some things that the reflections don't do that humans can. The reflections cannot speak and cannot actually feel. They also have no concience or feelings of guilt. They live to cause chaos and disorder, but don't see the consequences. When the person that the reflection belongs to dies, so does the reflection. The reflection cannot renter a mirror unless it is put back in by the person it belongs to and no one else.

Personality- Melody comes off as cold until you get her to open up, nice after you get to know her, and smart. She is always on her toes and doesn't trust a person completely until they prove their trust.
Bio- Melody grew up with 5 brothers. Two were younger than her and three were older than her. She would want to escape the craziness of her home life by isolating herself to her room and doing constructive things such as drawing, writing, and playing music. She hated the disorder and chaos in her home but it didn't stop there. Now, she has lost her reflection and is going after it as it ruins her reputation and causes crime, chaos and disorder in her life.
