Why he/she started with the drugs: Alice's mother had them in the bathroom, and Alice thought it was vitaminpills.
Personality: It changes very fast, but she is usually happy and/or rude.
Bio: Alice's father died before she was born and her mother died of an overdose, she was left to take care of her sister, Marie, who is 3 years, and almost everyone think its Alice's daughter.

Addiction?:LSD, Oxycontin, she isn't really addicted but she occasionally does weed.
Why he/she started with the drugs:Emily started when she was around 15 because that is when she started to go to a lot of parties/raves. She got introduced to them from a "Friend".
Personality:Emily tends to be very laid back a lot of the time since a lot of her brain cells have been killed from all the drugs. She as also been known to drop into depressions every now and then. However when she is at a rave (And hopped up on drugs) she is very wild and spontaneous. This often leads her into bad situations.
Bio:Emily used to live with her mother and father in a small house. Her parents where always over protective and never let Emily do anything unless it was school related. Once she got to high school however that all changed. She started to make friends with "The wrong crowd" who changed her out look on life. She stopped listening to her parents and soon after started to sneak out at night to go to parties. Once she was introduced to drugs her life took a turn for the worst, at lest in her parents opinion, to Emily it took a turn for the better. Yeah she was failing every class but Emily was finally having fun and she had friends for once. When she reached her Junior year of high school her parents finally had enough and kicked her out of the house. Soon after Emily dropped of school and moved in an apartment with a couple of her friends.

Why he/she started with the drugs:To find a way to dull the pain, mostly because of her father she started. At age 15.
Personality: Everly is kinda hyper at times when she gets high, most the time thou she's calm and collective. Little anti-social, but if you have a lot in common with her you'll do just fine.
Bio:Her daddy was a booze-hound, slapping her around constantly. Her mother just sat there most the time and let the abuse happen, so to numb the pain she started smoking. It worked for awhile, but once and awhile she needed something extra. Her father found out and was furious, he smacked her so hard that day she was in the hospital for a week. He was arrested put in jail, her mother blames her for that; now she wants little to do with her daughter.

Why he/she started with the drugs: He was depressed, his mother had just died and so did his brother. His step dad tried taking over his life and everything just went down hill from there.
Personality: Hes sweet, outgoing, caring; he tries not to get his friends in drugs. Also, lonely.
Bio: He moved here when he was five with his mom, dad, and older brother. When he was fifteen his mother and brother died in a car accident and he started drugs, and his grades suffered.

Alice sat on the swing in the park with Marie on her lap.
It was a sunny Saturday afternoon and she hadnt taken any drugs today. She felt sligtly proud.

Mason groaned."Moe! Get back here!" He yelled, chasing after the little sugar glider through the park. Moe ran up a tree and jumped off a branch, gliding from one tree to the next; that was the last time Mason kept Speed in the same pocket as his little pet.

Leo's eyes fluttered open as his older sister, Aelia, opened the curtains of his window and let the sun shine brightly through.
"Wake up dumbass~" She sang cheerfully. Leo groaned and slid deeper into the abyss that was his bed and covers.
"Its a new day..." She smiled mischeviously and twirled over to Leo's bed. "Aaaand, I need you outta here because my friends are coming over~" She shoved him over the side of his bed.
Leo groaned with his face planted on the carpet and mumbled, "You mean your dealer..."

Emily was linked arm 'n arm with her good friend Jessica. They where currently skipping through the park and laughing there asses off at nothing. No to answer your question they where not currently on drugs but the brown paper bag that Jessica was holding did have another type mind numbing substance in it. Emily with another giggle reached out to grab her friends right hand that held the bag and tipped it up to her mouth. After taking a long swing Emily let out a very non lady like burp which sent both girls in to uncontrollable laughter.

Marie laughed and jumped off Alice's lap.
She started playing with something she had taken from her sister's pocket. It took Alice some time to realize that it was her pills, but when she did, she quicly hurried to her sister and grabbed them. ''Little thief..''

Everly was in her black Pj's- teddy bear hugged close to her chest, asleep. [Crash!] went a dish hitting the kitchen floor, she kicked off the covers in a hurry and looked all around with bloodshot eyes. "What in god's name was that!?" It wasn't that hard to figure out, it was her mother attempting to cook. Everly groaned. "That woman will burn the house down one day..." She stomped out of her room, scratching her head and headed for the bathroom.

"Whatever..." Leo got dressed and, as commanded by Aelia, left the house after grabbing his messenger bag and cell phone. He rang Alice.

Andrew ran and ran, tripping right into the sandbox, head first. He rolled over and wiped his face off on his hoodie and russled out his hair, muttering under his breath. Looking around he watched, noticing all the girls in the park now.

Alice looked at the guy who had tripped in the sandbox.
''Wonder what he's on..'' Se muttered, raising an eyebrow.
She heard her phone ringing and let go off Marie, who ran off to check out the guy her sister had been looking at, and somehow, she had gotten the pills back.
Alice answered the phone. ''Helloo.'' She said slowly.

Emily and Jessica both saw the guy fall in the sandbox and fell to the ground laughing. Normally if they where sober they would have helped the poor guy but right now they thought him falling was the funnest thing on earth. There shrieks of laughter where causing quit a few disapproving stares from the family's around them. Emily noticing this tried to become serious as she made a shushing noise to her friend while placing her finger against Jessica's lips. She however couldn't hold a stern face and was lost in laughter again with in seconds.

Mason blinked, looking at the girl."Um... hello..." He said, Moe jumping up on his shoulder and looking at the girl curiously. Mason hadn't done anything today, well not yet at least, he always waits till' its night, sometimes anyway.

Marie looked at him strangly, holding on to the pillbox.
She was very curious, when something happened, she has to see.
She smiled and pointed at the guy. ''Fun.'' She said, being a slow learner, she only said words, not whole phrases. ''Fun'' was her favorite word.

"Hey, Alice. Got kicked out. Where are you? Is marie with you?" Leo asked.
Leo adored Marie. She was cute, and small and sweet-all the things Leo loved.

"No, not fun. Sand in my mouth is never fun." He laughed and glanced over at the girl on her cell phone.

Alice laughed. ''Im in the park. Marie is..Hmm..'' Alice looked around. ''There...With my magic pills.'' She mumbled.

Marie suddenly looked worried. She knew the words he was saying, but didnt really understand what they meant put together.

Emily and Jessica decided it was to much work to try and stand up. So they where currently laying on the grass and staring up at the sky. "O look it's a pony!" Emily said with a laugh as she pointed to a random cloud. "No it isn't! It's a needle!" Jessica shouted some what loudly as Emily was once again laughing her ass off.

He blinked and Moe went and sat on the girls shoulder, looking at Andrew...

¨''I didnt actually give it to her.'' Alice growled, glancing over to Marie every now and then, worried. She kind of had a mother instinct, especially when it came to strangers. ''I'll go get it from her... If I feel like it.'' She huffed.

Marie smiled again, dropping the pills without noticing in exitement.

Mason glanced at the box and picked them up, glancing at the girl comming twords them now."Should she really have these?" He teased, watching her come twords the sand box.

The mirrors were fogged up and steam whooshed out of the bathroom in a hurry, Everly stepped out squeaky clean. She had her make-up on, had jeans on, checkered vans on her feet; black and white striped gloves on (Going clear to her elbows) and a black t-shirt that had in big bold letters "Hippy in training" on it. It was a joke of course, she wandered into the kitchen and sniffed the air. Burnt toast, blah. So...Everly slipped past her mom and headed out the door and down the stairs of there apt. building.

"To the store!" She announced to the world, she had a joint in one of her sleeves, (of course it was in a plastic baggie!) and marched on.

Leo grinned. He poked Alice in the back. "You better feel like it. Your sister is about the only sweet thing in this world."

Alice turned and smiled, then stuck out her tounge and hurried towards Marie.

She looked at the guy holding her pills. Then she looked at Marie.
She looked unharmed enough.. ''No. No, she shouldn't.'' She admitted.

He handed them to her, standing up and brushing himself off."Those arn't even the best kind you know..." he said, then glanced at the guy behind her.

Leo glided after Alice and smiled at Marie. "And you would know?" Leo asked the guy.

''Good enough.'' Alice muttered, putting the pillbox in her pocket again.

Marie noticed Leo and ran up to him, hugging his legs.

He shrugged and picked up Moe off the little girl before turning and leaving.

Leo turned his attention to Marie. Laughing he crouched down to Marie's heaight, hugged her and said, "Long time no see , eh?"

Alice looked at the guy's back as he turned to leave.
''Umm..Sorry if she was bothering you.'' She excused, biting her lip with the same worried expression Marie used to have.

Marie giggles and nodded. ''Leo!'' She said. Her 2nd favorite word.

Emily had manged to stagger to her feet once more and reached out a hand to help her friend up. "But I don't wanna get up!" Jessica whined out as she continued to lay sprawled in the grass. "Jessica! You have to go met Jason...remember." Emily said with a goofy looking grin on her face. Hearing the name of her dealer Jessica immediately took her friends had and pulled herself up. However she pulled a little to hard causing Emily to get pulled down onto the grass.

"She wasn't, just thought I would let you get back on with your day and your boy is waiting for you anyways." He said, glancing back at her.

Leo picked Marie up and placed her on his shoulders in one fluid motion. He turned toward the stranger skeptically thinking, "Your boy"??

Alice looked very confused as she looked at Leo and then the guy and back at Leo again. She seemed too naïve to realize what he ment.

He shook his head."Never mind, anyway, watch where you keep those things; don't want her figuring out how to open them." He said, about the move forward before tripping over a girl in the grass."Ow!"

Leo laughed. He couldn't help it. He walked over to the stranger, Marie still on his shoulder along with a grin. "Hey, you okay?" Leo's voice cracked.

Emily let out a small shriek of surprise that turned into a small groan of pain as her hand clutched the side of her stomach. "Owie!" She mumbled as Jessica stood over her laughing. Emily just stuck her tongue out at her friend as she sat up and looked at the guy who tripped over her. "You should watch where there going." She told him her words coming out a little slurred.

Now that ticked her off. She walked over to him as he was on the ground and crossed her arms. ''Do NOT tell me how to raise my child!...Err..I mean sister.'' She growled at him.

"Just fine." He sighed, rolling do he was on his back and then sitting up."Well... you should watch where you lay." He laughed, knowing they were high. He looked up at the girl from before, shruging."I wasn't telling you how to do anything..."

''Yes, you did.'' Alice replied, taking out a cigarette. She knew she had promised to stop smoking, but she couldnt help herself.
She was about to light it when she looked at Marie.
Shameful, she walked away to smoke.

"No." Emily said while stretching out the word for a few seconds. "I was laying here first! So your the one who should have to watch where they walk." She told him in a some what childish whining tone as Jessica nodded her head in agreement.

Leo sighed unhappily and followed Alice. Before she could take a puff he took it from her hand and smashed it under his shoe.

"It is ok!" She said with a goofy grin on her face. "Emily come on! We have to go meet Jason." Jessica said as she tried to pull her friend up off the grass. "I'm coming just hold your horses." She said as she started to stumble to her feet.

''Hey!'' Alice shouted at Leo. When someone stopped her from smoking, she got even more annoyed. Just because she was so stubborn, she took out a new cigarette.

"Alice don't!" Leo said taking the cigaretter from her hand once more. Leo wasn't sure if Alice realized it, but Marie was still was still on his shoulders, squirming.

Alice glared at him. She could do anything she wanted. She let his see Marie, he should be happy enough. Slowly, she took the pillbox out of her pocket, opened it and put three into her mouth.

Leo grimaced as he watched Alice. "Eh....Hey Marie?" Leo's voice lgihtened. "How about Alice, me and you go get some icecream?"

Alice looked angry at Leo. She didnt reply, evenyhough she wanted yo, because she was goung through one of her phases with the pills. Headache.

Marie smiled. ''Fun!'' She exclaimed.

She arrived in the store, huffing for breathe- Everly glanced around till she spotted the candy section. She practically sprinted to it, grabbing about oh...ten candy bars. She smiled with her red lips and picked up a bottle of soda on the way to the cashier. Everly dumped it all down on the counter, the clerk shrugged ringing up the total.
"That'll be 5.37 please."

She rolled down her left sleeve and gave him 6 bucks, when he held out her change she simply said, "Keep it." and grabbed her bag heading out of the store. Everly munched on a Hershey bar headed down the sidewalk, she glanced over at the park with weary eyes. 'Be better if I lit up in a more darker place...' She thought.

Leo laughed half-heartedly. Leo walked ahead with Marie. "C'mon Alice." He called over his shoulder.

Alice growled, but she did go after all.
She was just waiting for the drug to really kick in. The reason she used the drugs where other than most people. They made her feel miserable, and often she would cry.

When they got to the icecream stand, Leo poked Marie's knee. "What do ya want?"

[Akai_Tenshi]

There, finally it began to work. Alice sat on the ground by the icecream stand and hid her face.

''Leo!'' Marie replied, meaning she wanted the same as Leo.

He sighed and got up, brushing himself off again, Moe climbing on one of the girls in the grass.

"Alrighty then." Leo scanned the menu for several moments. "Yum. Peppermint sounds good." Leo had never really liked plain icecream. Leo ordered and walked over to Alice. "Hey...Alice? lets sit over in the grass. Kay?" Leo held out his hand.

Alice didnt move, only shook a little. She could not handle Marie. Marie cared for Leo more, too. She should just let him have her.
The usuall thoughts raced trough her mind.

Leo pursed his lips. "Thats okay. Marie and I can sit over here, with you." His voice was filled with forced cheer. He took Marie off his shoulders and placed her down next to Alice. Then, he sat down on her other side.

Alice did not react at all, it seemed. She was busy loathing herself.

Marie glaced at her sister. She didnt know what was going on, cause she saw that Leo changed, as well as Alice-

Leo ruffled Marie's hair. "Like it? "

Marie forgot about her sister, and turned to Leo again and nodded, big smile on her face.

Jessica stared wide when she was Moe sitting on Emily. "It's so cute!" She said. Emily confused by her friends words followed her line of sight until she was looking at the furry little creature sitting on her. Emily didn't say anything just stared at Moe before reaching out to pet him on top of his head with a slightly mesmerized look in her eyes.

"Thats good. I was worried you wouldn't like it because you weren't eating it." Leo looked at Alice with a worried exspression. "Hey, Alice? I could get you one if you one if you want. My treat."

It took a while before Alice thought she had the strenght to reply, but when she did, she realized she had been wrong. Her voice made it so darn obvious that she cried. ''No thanks..''
She just wanted to disappear.

Mason sighed and watched them, it would be a while before Moe got bored with them...

Jessica dropped down on her knees next to Emily all thoughts of meeting with Jason forgotten. "What is it?" She asked in a whispered as she gently petted the creatures back. "I don't know....it looks like a squirrel." Emily said with a small giggle as she scratched behind its ears.

"Its a sugar glider." He sighed, watching the two.

"Ah...Okay then." Leo finished off his ice cream and stood, holding out a hand to Marie. "How about we go and play, hm?"

"Its made out of sugar!" Jessica said jokingly causing both girls to laugh for a few minutes. "Whats its name?" Emily asked the guy as she picked the little guy up in her hands softly stroking its back.

Marie nodded ever so happily.

Alice tried to regain self control. By doing so, she woukd feel strong, and that would make her feel better about taking carë of Marie alone.

"Kay. C'mon." He took Marie's hand. "Hey, you can join us anytime Alice. " He said over his shoulder.

"Hes Moe..." He said watching them. Moe was as happy as ever, running around a bit in the girls hand.

Alice finally managed to stop crying. She held her legs close to her body and put her hand in her pocket, digging for another cigarette.

Once both girls new the name of the sugar glider they cooed and fawned over it even more. "Aw aren't you just the cutest thing ever." Jessica said as she scratched under Moe's chin. "Moe your such a good little boy." Emily said with a giggle as she continued to pet its back.

Mason chuckled as he watched."Oh, I'm Mason by the way..."

"Emily!" Jessica said while pointing at her friend. "Jessica" Emily replied and pointed back. This little 'joke' caused both girls to start laughing all over again. "Hehehe Mason and Moe!" Emily said while giggling thinking that both there names starting with M was for some reason very funny.

He shook his head, laughing softly."Geeze, what did you two take?" He asked, teasing them.

Emily made a shushing sound at Mason as Jessica reached behind her for the brown paper bag. "Don't tell anyone." Emily said her voice trying to sound stern and intimidating but failing miserably. Jessica then pulled out a bottle of Jackdaniel's and a joint. "There used to be three." Jessica said while laughing referring to the joint she had. Emily just smiled happily as she continued to fawn over Moe.

Avoiding Marie and Leo, Alice walked back to the guy from before.
She poked him on his back.

He laughed."Ahh the boring stuff, Moe ate my speed." He gave the sugar glider a look. Moe just loked at him innocently and climbed up Emily's shoulder.

"Well yeah but we only get the fun stuff when we see Jason." Jessica told him in a 'duh' tone of voice like he should have known that to being with. "Aw Moe was just curious and wanted to have fun." Emily said as she kissed the little guy on top of his head she then scratched under his chin like Jessica did a few minutes ago.

"Oh okay then?" He blinked and laughed softly."Yeah but I was going to sell that to get money to buy his food." He said, poking Moe lightly on the side.

As Alice got no reaction and the guy just kept talking to the two girls, she got annoyed again. She took the cigarette in her mouth and slapped him on the back of his head.

He nodded."Why?" he asked, frowning a bit, he hated telling people about what was good and whats not; drugs are never good.

"Aw well how was Moe supposed to know." Emily said in the tiny creatures defense as she continued to pet him. "O drug deal!" Jessica said while shaking her finger at the two jokingly.

Alice frowned. Was this guy really that stupid? She gave him a strange look. ''Why do you think?'' She asked, using her arm to try to get make-up away from her cheeks.

With a sigh he pulled a small packet of pills out of his pocket, giving it to her."Save one to show your dealer, he'll know what it is..." He said.

Alice smiled a little. Then she frowned again. ''I don't have a dealer.'' She said. All her drugs she had gotten from her mother before she killed her self.

"Oxycotin!"((Hope it is ok I made it that.)) Emily said a huge smile lighting her face as she stared at the pill Mason had given the girl. "That stuff was sent from God!" Emily said with a laugh.

"alright, well, I do." He said, giving her a card with a guys name on it."Hes cheap but good, just tell him Mason sent you." He smiled and them ave Emily a look."Meany." He grumbled.

Emily tilted her head to the side slightly confused at Masons words. "Meany?" She questioned not knowing why he called her that.

Alice stared at him. Then she bowed. ''Thanks alot!'' She said, giving him a big smile. It was wierd how the only thing that realy made her happy had to do with drugs.

Alice was about to leave when she felt like someone had kicked her in her stomach. Oh yeah, the last phase of how the pills worked. Alice had to cover her mouth to not trow up and she sank to her knees. Now it has hard to breathe too.

Both girls just gave him lazy grins. There attention was then drawn to a black car that had just pulled up near them. Both girls recognized the car and worried looks became plastered on there faces. "O no I guess we where really late." Jessica said as she started to bite her fingernails. A man that looked around 25 climbed out of the passenger side and made his way over to the small group. "Um...hey Jason!" Emily said with a smile that was returned by a frown and a glare. "Is this where you two have been?" He asked them his voice not sounding to happy as he cast a suspicions look at Mason and Alice. Both Jessica and Emily nodded there head as they scrambled to get to there feet. "I think your friend there needs some help." Jason told Mason as he looked at Alice throwing up.

Mason frowned but didn't bother asking what was going on. Moe jumped off Emily onto Mason, looking sad as well.

Alice gasped for air. She just hoped that it didnt last as long as last time. Three hours of basically puking and almost fainting was not fun.

Mason glanced at the other girl and frowned more."You okay?"

"Looks like she might have overdosed." Jason said in a bored tone as Emily and Jessica watched the poor girl with concerned eyes.

Alice shut her eyes tightly as she began to shake and sweat.

He cursed under his breath and got up, going to the girl and pulling her up gently."Did you over dose? If you did I'm taking you to the hospitol." He said, he cared to much for other people.

Alice nodded as the headache came back. She felt like she was gonna faint anytime.

Leo giggled childishly as he and Marie glided down the bright yellow plastic slide. "Hey, lets do it again!" Leo said when they were at the edge. He took Marie's hand and began to walk, when he noticed Alice, shaking and sweating. "A-Alice..." Leo sprinted over to her. "Alice.."

"I got her." He sighed, feeling worse that the little girl could see her."I'll take her to the hospitol unless you want to with her little sister." He said, walking to his car.

Jason becoming bored of the situation turned to Emily and Jessica. "Get in the car." He told them while pointing back to the black car. Jessica immediately started to walk towards the car but Emily remained where she was looking at Alice. "But....wh-" "NOW!" Jason said while cutting her off. The last thing he needed was Emily seeing a chick die from overdosing that might be enough off a shocker to snap her out of her daze and want to get help. He couldn't have, not with her or Jessica, they where his best customers in more ways then one. Since Jason charged such high prices some times the girls couldn't buy there drugs by cash if you know what I mean. With a small sigh Emily did as Jason told her and followed behind Jessica casting worried glances behind her every now and then. Jason didn't say anything else to the other two just raised his eyebrows at them before turning heal and walking back to his car.

"Um...Would you mind coming? So, you could watch Marie..." Leo whispered. He let go of Marie's hand and picked Alice up in his arms.

"Sure..." he said, looking down at Marie."Lead the way..."

"Ah...Right." Leo said, not realizing he was whispering. Alice was sweating profusely and trembling. Leo broke out into a sprint toward the hospital. He hated that he was taking her their. They would find out Alice was on drugs and that would be the worst. She'd go into rehab. That would only make her more miserable. He hated it. But was else option was their?

Alice growled as she was about to trow up again. She couldn't see a thing.

Emily closed the car door behind her and stared at the scene as the car drove away. "So why didn't you girl meet me when you where supposed to?" Jason asked from the front seat. "The park was fun! and we got to see a sugar glider." Was the answer the two girls gave him. Jason just rolled his eyes knowing the girls where intoxicated with something. "Well next time try and remember." He told them with a glare. Both girls nodded there heads and replied with a slurred "Yes."

Leo pursed his lips uncertainly as they arrived outside the hopsital. Leo hesitated for a moment. he glanced at Alice and whispered, "Don't hate me..." He murmered pushed the doors open.

Mason sighed and followed, keeping an eye on the girls little sister like he said he would.

Alice felt the pain rushing through her head. What about Marie?
Alice would probably be sent to rehab, but what about Marie?

Several nurses had taken Alice away from Leo and had sent Leo away with Marie and the stranger that Leo still didn't know the name of. Leo had reclined to an uncomfortable chair with Marie on his lap.
"Hey, you can go now. Thanks for your help..." Leo said to the stranger.

Alice still felt like she was blind. Where she at the hospital yet?

A while later, a nurse informed Leo that he could see Alice. So, here he was, walking down to her room, holding Maries tiny hand. When he reached her room he paused, then walked inside. Leo saw Alice and scurried over to her. Her bed was by the window. The sun was setting.

Alice was in her bed with her eyes closed. She didnt quite feel if she was ashamed or not for taking an overdose, she she guessed she was.

Leo took a seat by the window and placed Marie in the seat next to his. He was mad at himself, because he couldn't comfort Marie. Would seeing her sister like that scar her? Leo wondered. He took oicked up Marie under arms and placed her on his lap. "She's going to be okay..." He murmered. Though more to reassure himself than Marie.

Alice heard that Leo and Marie was there, but she didnt bother to react.

Marie blinked. She didnt quite understand why her sister was laying there. She did remember seeing her mother like that, too, eventhough Marie didnt know if it was long ago. For her, it could've been yesterday, as well as a year ago.

Leo smoothed down Marie's hair tiredly. "You okay?" He asked because she had been silent for quire some time.

Marie nodded slowly. Was her sister going to leave her, too?

Alice took in a deep breath. She had an overdose again, and wanted a cigarette, or a pill, again already.

Leo's attention moved back to Alice when he heard her intake of air.
"Alice...?" He murmered half-heartdedly.

Alice growled as she realized she had blown her cover, but remained quiet.

Leo narrowed his eyes at Alice. He was sick of it. Sick of her. He took Marie off his lap and placed her back in the other chair. "Watch her." He hissed before stalking out of her room.

[Akai_Tenshi]

Marie looked nervously around. ''Not fun?'' She muttered in a quiet tone.
Alice couldn't help but to laugh. ''No, Marie, not fun.'' She told her silly littlesister. ''We're in big trouble now.'' She murmured, staring at the wall.
Despite her very young age, Marie knew what her sister meant. And it made her very sad.

Leo left the hospital. He walked all teh way to his house, where Aelia was still with her "friends". It was extrememly tempting for Leo not to go inside and...and lose himself. He actually simply stood outside at the front door for several minutes, having a silent debate with himself. Finally, Leo decided it wasn't worth it. Besides, it wouldn't last that long anyway. Leo wondered around aimlessly. When he became aware of his surroundings, it was dark.

''I need to find someone to watch over you while Im in rehab.'' Alice explained, looking at a paper one of the nurses had given her.
Because it was her first time with drugs(at least, they thought so), she was going to keep Marie. She could not do that while in rehab, though.
''Leo?'' Marie tried but Alice shook her head. ''Let's keep him out of our...my mess. He doesn't deserve it.'' Marie looked at the ground. ''Besides, it has gotta be someone over 18.'' Alice continued, grimacing at the paper.

All the commotion in the park made Everly uneasy, it was dark and she should of been home by now. Oh well, she walked aimlessly through the dark, going nowhere particular. So seeing as how the coast was clear, she unrolled her sleeved and slipped out a joint, and a match and lit it, exhaling with relief.

Leo walked back to the hospital. He took the stairs to the third floor and down the familiar hall. He opened Alice's hospital room door slowly. His eyess were set on Marie the moment he looked up. He smiled softly at her and walked over to the vacant chair beside Alice's bed. He remained silent but kept his gaze on marie with his soft smile.

Alice let herself fall back to bed slowly, staring at the wall like she wanted to burn a hole in it. She knew he hated her now, for what she was putting her sister through.

Marie smiled to Leo when he came back. So neither her sister or Leo could be with her? Why? Did they not care for her? She moved her eyes back to Alice, who now looked away.

"Hey, Marie?" Leo began slowly.
"You hungry?" Leo smiled, but his eyes were full of anguish.

Marie looked at Leo and blinked. She was about to say no, when Alice turned her head. ''She is.'' Alice said, looking at her sister.
Marie slowly nodded and smiled.

Alice turned her head again.

"Eh...Well, lets go get something to eat then. Kay?" Leo stood up and held a hand out to Marie to help her from her seat.

Marie nodded and took Leo's hand while jumping down from the chair.

Leo picked Marie up and asked, "What would ya like, miss?"

As Marie was of her sight, Alice sat up and looked around. She seemed scared. Getting up from the bed, Alice found her clothes and changed.

Marie shrugged, still smiling slightly.

Leo's hand slid in his picket, and he pulled out about two dollars and some change. He chuckled sheepishly. "I'm afraid this is all I have at the moment. So, hope you don't mind something from the vending machine."

Marie shrugged and giggled. As she really wasn't that hungry, it didn't matter.

Alice growled, seeing as they had taken her stuff. That had taken the purpose of going out away, so she laid back on the bed, sighing. She was begining to feel really bad about letting Marie see her like this.

Leo took Marie and got her crackers from a vending machine. Then, they headed back to the room. Once there, Leo sat Marie back down in the chair and took a seat himself, though silent, and would'nt speak to Alice.

Alice looked at Leo and Marie as they came back and stayed silent. She felt uneasy, wanting to say something, but not daring.

Marie didn't like this silence either, and nibbled on the cracker. She sighed and stared at her sister.

The silence, was wearing Leo's patience thin. "Are you going to say anything?" He finally asked Alice, but he still wouldn't looked at her. His gaze stayed on Marie.

Alice opened her mouth. "What is there to say?" She muttered and closed her eyes.

Marie looked at her sister, then at Leo, not understanding why they seemed angry at eachother, somehow.

"Like, hmm, I don't know." Leo said , "How about, I'm sorry for nearly killing myself just to get a high."

Alice groaned. "I could say that," She glanced at her sister. "But that would be lying," She closed her eyes again.

"Then...Your not sorry. " Leo voice wavered. He stood up and went to Alice's side. "Alice open your eyes." He commanded.

With a frustrated expression, Alice slowly opened her eyes and stared at Leo. "That's right," She muttered.

Leo clenched his teeth. "What's wrong with you?"

[Akai_Tenshi]

Alice stared silently at Leo for a while before sighing and closing her eyes again. ''I don't know,'' She mumbled.

Leo placed a his hand on Alice's cheek softly. "Alice, look at me. Do you even realize what you could've done to yourself? If you died, what do think that would've done to Marie?"

Alice remained silent and bit her lip. She hadn't even thought about Marie. She was so selfish.

Leo bit his lip. Was he even getting through to her? "Alice."

[Akai_Tenshi]

''Maybe..'' Alice opened her eyes. ''Maybe you should take her?'' She whispered, so Marie wouldn't hear.

"I won't." Leo said firmly. "Your her only family."

[Akai_Tenshi]

''And the next time I have an overdose? With only me and Marie in the house, what will she do then?'' Alice asked, still whispering.

That was a problem. Leo sighed. He couldn't take Marie away from Alice, or Alice away from Marie. Leo sat back down in his chair and moved it up to Alice's bed. He laid his head at her side, tired. "I'll move in with you. So, that doesn't happen." He yawned.

Alice opened her mouth, but not a word came out. She decided it was best to just stay silent.
Marie smiled hearing what Leo had said.

Leo almost fell asleep, but a nurse came in to announce visiting hours were over. Leo picked Marie up and smiled dryly at Alice. "I'll take Marie to my place tonight...I guess I'll see you tomorrow."

Alice looked at Marie and nodded. ''See you,'' She muttered and smiled slightly.

Leo left the hospital then to take Marie to he and his sisters place. He hoped his sister wasn't with any friends tonight, he didn't want Marie to see anything. Fortunately, Leo's sister was in at all.

Marie looked around. She couldn't remember being here before. The interest soon faded, though, as she fell asleep.

Alice sighed. Everything was quiet around her, all she could hear was low voices from the hall. She fell asleep about an hour after Leo and Marie left.

Leo soon fell asleep himself. But, when he'd only been asleep for what seemed like half a minute he awoke to the sun bursting through the window in his bedroom.

Alice woke when a nurse came in and informed her that she could go home. Alice merely nodded and got her stuff. It took her thirty minutes to walk home, and when she got in, the first thing she did was letting herself fall back on her big bed. She sighed.

Marie still slept quietly.

Leo'd already showered and dressed when he kneeled down and shook Marie gently. "Hey, Marie..." He murmered softly. He knew Alice was realeased from the hospital today, so he thought they ought to head over to her house.

Alice walked around the house, getting pills from different places. She ended up in front of the toilet, with the pills in a shaking hand. ''For Marie,'' She muttered and dropped the pills. Her heart felt like it stopped for a while, but she sighed and pulled it together, going to get something to eat.

Marie opened her eyes and blinked, smiling up at Leo.

Leo nodded to Marie with a smile. He picked her up and left the house, heading to Alice's seeing as she didn't live that far away. Once there, he rapped three times on the door.

Alice heard someone at the door and yawned. Taking her time, she slowly walked to the door and opened it. She had a book in her hand, watching it instead of seeing who the visiter was.

Marie stayed silent, not saying anything at all.

"Hi, Alice." Leo finally said as it was evident Alice didn't intend on saying anything. "May we come in?"

[Akai_Tenshi]

Alice looked up and smiled slightly. "Sure," She muttered and closed the book, going back to the table and sitting down with her breakfast.

Leo resisted the urge to go to Alice, shake her hard, and yell at her to snap out of it. He simply went into the kitchen and fixed Marie a small breakfast. He sat down next to Marie and Alice at the table. "Did you sleep alright?" He asked Alice.

Alice avoided the question and stared at Marie, still smiling. "There's no more pills, Marie," She mumbled, reaching out to touch her sister's cheek.

Marie didn't understand what Alice meant, of course, but she was happy when her sister was happy, so she smiled too.

Leo didn't know what to believe. He felt like he hardly knew Alice anymore. He didn't bother saying anything.

Alice glanced at Leo and pouted before looking out the window. She placed her chin in the palm of her hand and sighed. It was starting to rain.
