I was asking my mother if I could have a cosplaying party (Good lord I'm a nerd.) for my birthday. My house is WAY to small to hold a whole classfull, so I was saying we should rent out a place. Well, that would cost 200-300 dollars an hour and a decent costume would cost 90+ dollars, which I can't afford.

So the answer was flat out "no"
"Maybe for your sixteenth birthday. NOT your eleventh." Her exact words were that...

Oh well. I can dream...~

My sweet 16's coming up {} and I need ideas...XD

A cosplay party sounds like it would be fun, if I had more friends into anime...yes, I'd cosplay on my sweet 16. XD

Anyways...we couldn't afford anything fancy for my 11th birthday either, so we had dinner as a family in a nice restaurant and went to see a movie. Will there be anything playing on your birthday you wanna see?

I don't know...

It's 3 months away. :3

I like planning things early.

And I do not many people I know are into anime, either, but I know A-PLENTY who are into video games.

Hmmm...well, my suggestion is to pay attention to either www.imdb.com or http://movies.yahoo.com . They both have information on upcoming releases, and I know IMDB has trailers as well {if you can watch videos on your computer}. ^.~

Ah yes, the young years. My 21st is going to be a ball.
But as for your question: Certainly, Plus, I think it would be better if you did wait until your 16, it will be much more fun. You'll be more grown up, who knows maybe even have a boyfriend, AND it never hurts to plan early. Right?

Personally, I suggest not cosplay. Ever, really, unless you have friends that are extremely into cosplaying. My friend was forced to go to a cosplay party and the only people that dressed up were the host and some other girl. Maybe just, a costume party would be better. You can still cosplay, and other people can just dress up in some crazy outfit instead of doing nothing at all. Cosplay is hard to do, and if people aren't that into it, they're not gonna spend 90 bucks on an outfit they don't really want. I know that my friend didn't cosplay, she just put on some clothes and said she was a pole. It's still a costume. You could have like, a Halloween party.
