Robber
Inken-
“I don’t let people into my house very often you see. I mean, strange people. Not that you are a strange person, my dear. Simply one I do not know exceptionally well.
I mean, I wouldn’t want to be robbed now would I? Though, I suppose it would make excellent dinner conversation. Suppose one man may say, “Today I had tea with my wife” And then, to be able to reply, “Well today I was robbed.” It would certainly grab the attention.
And then, just suppose you catch the robber in the act. Suppose, suppose, you invited them to tea, just suppose, my dear! And perhaps he turns out to be a pleasant sort of fellow. Perhaps later on when you are speaking of the experience, just suppose you might say, “Today I had tea with a man robbing my house. We are getting back together on Tuesday for drinks; he was the nicest of men.”
Yes, that would be an interesting tale to tell. Maybe I shall begin inviting strangers home more often. I mean, certainly, my dear, you can suppose all of the interesting possibilities of things to happen.”

I'm the only one who entered? I reccomend changing the deadlines, giving a promt for a more speccfic range of stories, perhaps allow posting on the thread and, if you're fealing adventures, extend the contest to poetry, as well as prose.
