Far in the melody
As I sing my song
Is a girl of strength
As I move along
My tattered clothes
My worn out smile
I lye myself down
To dream for a while
Images dance
Vividly in my mind
A ghost of a girl
Who chimes a rhyme
‘Sister, sister’
She sweetly begins
‘Please tell me,
Where have you been?’
My eyes go wide
As she walks my way
That ghost of a girl
I remember that day
My mother and I
Sitting at home
There comes a ring
I pick up the phone
‘Where is the missus,
Can she speak?’
I answer ‘Here’
Though my mother was weak
‘Hello, can I help you?’
She asked, alarmed
‘Your daughter was found
It turns out she was harmed’
The phone drops
Causing a crash
We both shed out tears
Though it wasn’t a match
Fate had appeared
And stole her away
‘I waited for you’
She turned me away
I wake with a startle
In a white room
They say I’ve gone crazy

:) Hmm i think it was OK but it could be so much better using the same idea and taking a lil more time! I'm not saying this is bad, because its not - there are way wose things out there XD But i am just thinking that some sentences do not make sense because you have been trying to rhyme, and get the rythmn (plz tell me i spelt those right! XD) which is not a bad thing - the ryhming and rythmn thing i mean, but just brought down the quality of the writing a little - because it didn't make sense or it had random sentences to fill up lines. I love the theme though!!
Only... why was the mother weak?? I am confused!!

Do you have any other poems that you took longer time on? I would like to see any!

PS. I do like your poem though. I'm just saying how i would be better! - And thats not a bad thing right? ^^ XD Keep writing!
