There are areas of the hospital treating different phobias.

Personality: Shy and secluded. Naive and childish and giggles a lot. She blushes easily and acts like a 9 year old sometimes.

Other: She was at the Hospital for Polyphobias for 10 years; since she was six years old. She doesn't eat all that much because she is afraid of food poisoning and has a low metabolism. She doesn't know where the long word thing came from, but it confuses her brain. She hates firearms because they killed her parents when she was 5 1/2, and she's afraid of poison because she watches the news channel and they talk about poison getting into things people use.

Personality: a bit on the shy side, but comes out of his shell when with friends, and loves hanging around people, even if he's hanging with no one in particular and just in a crowd.
Phobia(s): Autophobia- Fear of being alone or of oneself, and Nelophobia- Fear of glass

Other: He is two years older than his sister, Kristy. He has the fear of being alone because his parents were his best friends and he felt so alone when they died. So even though he was older he stuck with his sister at almost all times. He is also afraid of glass because he used to get cut easily by it, so he uses plastic cups when he drinks. He likes playing sports and enjoys being in large crowds. He is a bit agoraphobic ((fear or open spaces)) but not enough for it to be treated.

Other: Fall's parents died in a car accident and since then she has been terrified to get in a car, or any moving vehicle. She hates being alone because before she came to the hospital she was in a foster home and she was always left out of everything, so she tends to cling onto people(like a friend, her twin or a nurse). She likes being in large crowds, that way she doesn't feel so alone. She carries around a stuffed cat named Coco that her parents gave her when she was a child. She doesn't know why she is afraid of peanut butter sticking to the roof of her mouth, it's just something that has freaked her out since she was little. She can't even stand to look at peanut butter.

Other: Much like Fall, except before their parents died, he had gone on a fishing trip with his father. The boat ended up tipping over and he had almost drowned. He was in a hospital for a few weeks, and he had to get a lot of shots. He hates needles and pins because of when they were giving him shots, they kept messing up and his condition got even worse. He and his sister have been in the Hospital of Polyphobias for about nine years now.

Personality: she is shy veeeery shy. but when you become her friend she is very open with you. she loves to have others cling to her because even though she is shy that shyness is underneath a longing for people to like her.
Phobia(s): Achluophobia- Fear of darkness, Asthenophobia- Fear of fainting or weakness., Catoptrophobia- Fear of mirrors, Hemophobia:Fear of blood.

Other: when she was young (like 3) her sister was killed. It was very dark at the time of the killing. It was a very bloody assasination. The assasin killed her sister with a piece of a mirror, and knocked her out. She has been int he asylum ever since.

Other: when she was 10 she was on a cruise with her family. But she fell overboard and almost drowned. And ever since she has been terrified of water. That and she has always been put in disstress by making others sad. But it severed greatly after the accident. Soon after it her mother was shot down and she has been afraid of guns ever since.

Personality: he is the kind of person who has big hands but the mind of a small child. He is thought of that way because of his childish phobias. And in tern he fears opinion in addition to the childish phobias.

Other: This 14 year old boy has a desies that enabled him to learn past the age of 6. He learns new things but only insignificant things. Not things like new words or things that would make him seam older. Thus he developed serious problems with his childlike fears. Being teased for them he developed a problem with the fear of opinion. And now he is in the assylum he has been there since age 9.

Other: she stutters a lot and is very clumsy. Her fear of crowds started when she was ten. She was at a fourth of july party watching a fireworks display when one of them shot off into the crowd. People panicked and started to run, Aislynn was nearly trampled by the crowd. For some reason she has always been afraid of thunder and lighting though she can't really remember why. she was sent to the hospital when she was eleven.

Other: Jace got his fear of darkness from when he was little. His step mom used to get mad at him all the time and as punishment she would lock him in his room with absolutly no light. He got his fear of firearms when he was a little older and he heard that a friend of his was shot and killed. He as been at the hospital since the age of 13.

She even stopped going outside and made her room so dark that you couldn’t’ see in it if you shined a spotlight through the window on the outside. Alex is obsessed with vampires and has come to the conclusion she is one so she was given the nick name vampire girl. Alex has been in the hospital for about 6 years now.

Other: Lee is a talkative and smart like most males his own age except for his phobias are off the charts due to some bad circumstances. Lee grew up the only male in family of sevens sister all around the same age. When lee was about five years old as a cruel joke his sisters locked him in the closet with nothing but dolls… Lee also is scared of the telephone because he once watched a scary movie when he was little how the killer used telephone cords to kill his victims and then as another cruel joke her sisters wrapped him up on one and almost suffocated him. Though no one is quite sure why lee is afraid of the cold, Lee is always wearing long sleeves shirts and jackets even in the summer. Lee has been in the hospital for about five years.

Personality: Dazzle is very social. She is often hyper, but yet keeps her composure. She's sweet, but alos has this defense up that often gets her stubbornness to come out. She is very social, but stubborn as well.

Bio:Kane was born witha huge family, he has two brothers that still live. It started with four but they all ended up dying from a cancer that spread. He didn't catch it, but now he's alone...and that sucks majorly. He has plently of phobias but the two that reall hurt him are the ones listed above.

Himeko sat in a room with the doctor she saw everyday. Before her he held a picture. The picture of her sister; Her sister whenshe was young. Before the accident. The doctor told her not to connect it with mirrors. He said to connect it with the happy times the good times they shared. Himeko tried the best she could but could not. All she could think about was the death of her sister and the blood all the blood.


Kimiko looked out the window to her bedroom. It was so bleak to know she was happy all day but no one ever got any happier because of it. Everyone remained sad. Suddenly she heard a noise. It was 'no it couldnt be' she thought. Then a man walked around the corner he held a gun. She started to run she ran she ran down the hall as fast as she could. She was so worried she didntwant the man to run up the stairs to shoot her down.


Chichidi lay on his bed thinking about his momma. Thats what he liked to call her momma. He wished he could see his momma soon but knew as long as he was in this hospital it wasn't going to happen. He looked a the ceiling; There was no one around he liked these times best because he could think and not worry about what people thought he was thinking.

Fall clung onto Yuki's arm tightly. "Yuki, what if there's peanut butter?" Fall whispered quietly, hugging her stuffed cat Coco closer to herself with the arm she held her in.
Yuki sighed, "it's okay, Fall, I'm sure the doctor wont have and peanut butter in there," he told his twin.
"B-but he m-might have needles," Fall whispered shakily.
Yuki's eyes widened in fear and he pushed Fall away from himself. "Don't say that!" he yelled at her, using anger to cover his fear. Fall's eyes started to water.

Other: She came to the hospital when she was 12, when her father died because of an explosion that destroyed her house, millions of shards of glass hurt her and her father. She is deathly afraid of wrists, especially when veins are bulging and goes into hysterics when she sees them. She never knew her mother.

Other: His mother left him when he was 7, he never knew his father. He wandered the streets seeing many deaths until he was brought to the hospital at the age of 9.

Kane was in his small,contained room where he layed on the floor. No mirrors, no moving objects...only him. He smirked some hearing the faint footsteps, he knew who it was."Hurry up and come on." He muttered his low husky tone, almost soothing.

Dazzle rolled her eyes some, and walked in."Isn't your room supposed to be locked,twat?" She asked pausing. She was civil, just....afraid of her phobia's obviously. She wasn't crazy though.

Kane ignored her for the moment."Won't you ever stop coming into my room 20 times a day,sweetie?" he retorted back motioning his best friend to sit."Why'd you come this time...just afriad again?"

ALex sat in her room it was dark with not windows what so ever, she sat in the corner her eye twiched because she could see the suns rays from under the door, She hated the sun, she closed her eyes, you would see her even in the darkest of nights if you walked into her room simply becaues seh was plae as a ghost.

Lee was franticlly looking for his coat, he had his long sleve shirt on but that wasn't enough. After he foudn his coat he put it ona and started to think about him mom and his sisteres, she cringed at the though of the past.

Natsuko sat, bandaging her wrists. her old bandages have gotten loose, and she couldn't stand seeing her wrists. She was locked up in her room, too scared to go outside to meet the other people. But she knew she would have to eventually.

Franklin sat leaning against the wall in the hallway, clutching his doll and watching people walking past him. He often amused himself by looking at the people and making up their stories, trying to figure out their past.

Kimiko Ran she ran until she was out of breath. She started to feel faint. She sat suddenly; very sudden; to sudden. She started to lose breath to fast she was breathing very hard. She looked up and across the hall was a boy with green hair and a little doll. She didn't get a good enough glance at him before the doctors swarmed around her. She didn't know what to do.


Himeko walked out of the room her therapy for the day finished. She looked at a door in the hallway someones bedroom probably.What she noticed was that it was completely dark. She shuddered at the thought of having to go in it.


Chichidi hopped off his bed. He decided he was going to go meet soemone. And he was goiong to try his best not to think about what they though tof him. He knew he would fail but he wanted to try.

Kristy was running to her treatment with her drawing pad/journal in her hands. 'Oh no I'm late...this will be the first time!!' She dropped her journal and her papers flew all around the hall. She hurreidly gathered them up, stuffing them into her journal. She wasn't looking as she was running forward so she bumped into someone with green eyes and hair and fell down, her papers falling out again.

Mike was bored. His treatment was over an hour ago. He felt alone and his phobia was starting to come back. His best friend left the hospital a week ago. He got up and started walking around the place, looking for someone to hang with. He sighed to himself, 'I need more than one friend here...'

Fall's bottom lip started to quiver and she ran down the hallway in tears.
"Fall!" Yuki yelled after her. He sighed, "I am so stupid," he told himself, jogging after her.
Fall whimpered and skidded around another corner. She saw a guy up ahead with brown hair and her eyes widened. She skidded to a stop, squeezing Coco closer to herself. She didn't bother whipping away any tears and she walked around him quietly.
"Fall!" Yuki shouted again as he came around the corner and saw his sister. "Fall! Come here!" he shouted to her.
Fall's eyes widened and she ran again.
"Fall! I'm sorry!" Yuki yelled jogging after her, slowing down as he came closer to the other guy.

Mike looked at them, and then the girl apparently named Fall. He walked up to them, "Are you okay?" He was desperate to talk to anyone at the time, his need to be around crowds was kicking in big time. He smiles slightly, "I'm Mike. And you two are...?" He asked politely.

Kristy panicked and frantically picked up her papers, "I'm late...I can't be late!"

Yuki bent over, his hands on his knees as he tried to catch his breath, "Yuki Sasaki," he said, standing back up.
Fall started to quiver and she clutched onto Mike's arm, her crying slowly stopping.
"That's my twin sister, Fall. She's a little clingy, so I wouldn't be too alarmed if she suddenly attaches herself onto you when she's upset." Yuki sighed, "I kind of yelled at her for mentioning something, and I upset her."

Fall turned a light pink and sniffled, hugging onto Mike tighter. She whimpered softly, still a little upset.

Kristy was running to her treatment with her drawing pad/journal in her hands. 'Oh no I'm late...this will be the first time!!' She dropped her journal and her papers flew all around the hall. She hurreidly gathered them up, stuffing them into her journal. She wasn't looking as she was running forward so she bumped into someone with green eyes and hair and fell down, her papers falling out again.[/I]

Fall turned a light pink and sniffled, hugging onto Mike tighter. She whimpered softly, still a little upset.

The door to Alex's room opened and the sunlight came in and she hissed, the doctor smiled "Come on Alex it's time for your seession and it's really sunny today you'll like it" he said. Lee sat there watiing for his session he alwasy looked forward to them even though they somtimes ended horribly. He watched as the door opened and his doctor came in smiling like alwasy, beside her was an assassinent

Franklin clutched to his doll, looking at all the confusion. He was overwhelmed by all the people he has seen, too many new people. He ran, trying to escape the people. He enjoyed company, but this was too much.

Natsuko peered out of her room, seeing a crowd of people. One of them, a girl, looked like she was upset. she carefully opened the door and tried to sneak by, hoping no one would notice her.

Natsuko sneaked by the crowd, crowds made her feel uneasy. She decided to go look for food, she was starving. She slithered down the halls, avoiding windows and hoping she wouldn't bump into anyone.

Franklin looked at the clock. It was time for his therapy. He walked to the room, glancing at the crowd when he walked past them. Gathering all his bravery, he decided to walk up and say hello.

Aislynn had just got out of her treatment/therapy lesson and was feeling very frazzled. Her doctor seemed to think making her watch a movie about thunderstorms, with the volume turned all they way up, would help her. All it did however was make her go into a panick attack so they let her go a little early. Aislynn was now walking back to her room when she spotted a small crowd in the hallway by her room. Her eyes got really wide and her hands started to shake as she realized she would have to go through the crowd in order to get to her room. Today just isn't my day. She thought as her heart started to race in fear.

Franklin out of the corner of his eye, while walking towards the crowd, noticed a girl with dark brown hair looking panicy. Even though he only had been at the hospital for one year, he instantly remembered that she was the girl with the fear of crowds. He stopped walking and stared into space, imagining what would happen next, like he often does.

Fall's eyes widened and she took the stuffed cat back. She hugged her tightly in one arm, her other arm still hooked through Mike's. Fall looked up at Mike, "her name is Coco," she said quietly, "she has a fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of her mouth like I do. She's my best friend."

Kimiko saw the boy. She knew him he was there a few minutes ago when she was worried about the... no she wouldn't let her mind stray to that. And it made her look like a moron especially because she didn't get up and go grab it she tried to reach for it.

Suddenly the lights went out and Himeko Screamed as loud as ever. She dropped to the ground memories of her sister and the man who killed her came flooding back to her. She was distressed. She squabbled on the floor looking for something, someone.

Kane saw from up ahead :Two people, one clutched onto the floor, and another trying to possibly help? Around here in this hospital like asylum Kane helped everyone because the nurses and Doctors were about as warm as ice. He ran over, glancing at the girl on the floor. He hadn't ever seen her around."She's obviously not okay, Dazzle help her up." He muttered.

Dazzle felt right at home, she wasn't alone. Their were now three people around her. She didn't smile, seeing this girl in pain. She grabbed both of her arm forcefully and helped her up."She's....crying." dazzle said in a hazy like whisper.

Himeko felt herself being lifted up and reached for the ground again. Starting to get used to the dark but still in her phobic haze she noticed a girl on the ground. She obviously looked scared and Himeko wanted to help her.

Dazzle looked at Himeko, recognizing her slightly. She kept her up, and lightly put her against the wall, gosh this girl was uh strong. Dazzle and her little petite self almost fell over."Are you okay,love?" She asked, looking at the girl worriedly.

Kane wondered how Dazzle could act so normal in a situation like this. He shook his head some, and stood their watching Dazzle and the stunned girl.

Yuki ran out of the room screaming his lungs out. He raced down the hallways trying to get as far away as possible. He stopped and leaned against a wall, breathing heavily, his face was completely white and he was shaking. "N-ne-needles," he stuttered, slumping down to the ground.

Fall skipped down the hallway merrily, holding Coco in her right hand. She stopped suddenly as she thought she heard something. She listened carefully and screamed as thunder crashed and a shock of lightening brightened the room from a nearby window. She took off down the hallway, opened a random door and flung herself inside. She fell to the ground in a fetile position, covering her head and ears with her arms. Tears were pouring down her face, and she was shaking uncontrollably. "I need someone," she sobbed softly. "Yuki... Nurse Bunny(her nurse since she came)... Mike... I need anyone of you... I just need someone..." she cried.

Fall screamed loudly again as another flash of lightening lit up the almost dark room. A bang of thunder went off not even a second later and her screaming got louder. She ran out of the room, her hands over her ears, sobbing mercilessly. She tripped over something and fell face first to the floor.

The lady at the front desk seemed to have found the information she was looking for and asked them to follow her. They came to a room and were asked to take out everything in their pockets and luggage. She started to take things Seth hadn't even thought about, like pencils and pens and sharpeners, even their pants that had metal zippers. The woman even looked at Seth's glasses for a moment, but decided that they would just make sure to ask him where they were if they ever saw him not wearing them.

Yami clung tighter to her cousin's shirt as she watched them take away her things.

"Don't worry, I'm sure they'll give you something to write with.”

The woman asked them to follow her again after the rest of their things were put back into their bags and brought them to a room with their names next to the door.

"Just as you requested, a room together.” She smiled her best smile and said, “Welcome to your new home. We only want to help and we do hope that you will come to think of this place as more than just a facility.”

Seth told her thank you and he and Yami walked into their new “home”.

(Haha, cool! Oh, you didn't say whether you were already a patient at the hospital or if you were new, like Seth and Yami. Everyone else has been here a while, even though the RP has only just started)

(Lol, just decide if you want to be new or if you've been there a while already! If you've read my post already, you'll see that Seth and Yami have only just now been shown to their rooms and that's it. They haven't met anyone but the secretary person.)

(Here, I'll help you)

Seth looked at Yami sitting on her bed, not doing anything.

"Wanna look around? I'm sure it's better than just sitting here. Besides, I'm hungry. What about you?"

Yami looked up and nodded slightly to her cousin, then stood up and grip his his shirts sleeve as they walked out the door. They saw a boy with an eye patch on their way to the cafeteria.

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito looked over as he heard footsteps. He paused and a frightened look came into his eyes. "Stay away!"he cried loudly, the echo bouncing off the walls. He shut his eye, frightened.

[Yamitsu]

Yami flinched and clung tightly to the back of Seth's shirt. Seth turned around and put his arms around her shoulders, squeezing gently while she buried her face in his chest, trembling slightly. He turned a little so he could see the boy.

"Hey, are you okay? You shouldn't yell like that, my cousin doesn't like loud noises and she gets scared very easily."

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito backed up as the guy stared at him. He was afraid of men, his father had done that. He backed into a wall and a shiver of fear ran down his spine.

[Yamitsu]

Seth could tell this boy was very afraid, but he couldn't figure out why. He decided to try something. He whispered to Yami.

"Hey, Yami? It's okay, I think he's just scared, like you. Come on, it's okay. Just look at him."

Yami loosened her grip just a little and peaked around her cousin, looking at the boy.

"Do you think you can say hi to him?"

Yami tried to say something to him, but only managed to lift her hand and make a small wave.

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito waved, his hands shaking. He tried not to look at the guy the girl was with, afraid he would yell again.

[Yamitsu]

Seth noticed that the boy seemed to be okay with Yami, but tried not to look at him at all. He coaxed her out of his arms and whispered to her again.

"Hey, he doesn't seem to like me very much, but he seems to like you okay. Why don't you try to talk to him while I get us something to eat? You may get a new friend."

Yami's eyes widened at the thought of actually talking to him, and at Seth actually leaving her with him. She shook her head repeatedly.

"Come on Yami, I know you can do it! I'll only be gone for five minutes, then I'll be back! This place is safe, nothing can happen to you and I'll be right down the hall. he seems like he needs some, too."

Yami looked at the boy a moment, then down, then nodded slightly. Seth took her hand and brought her over to the boy.

"This is Yami, and I'm Seth. I'm gonna get us something to eat, so I'm leaving her here for just a moment."

He hugged Yami and left them, waving goodbye and smiling.

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito blinked and looked at the girl. "I'm....I'm Akito...."he mumbled shyly. "S-sorry for scaring you...."

[Yamitsu]

Yami sat down across the hall from him and looked up for a moment, then looked down again and nodded slightly, trying to show that it was okay.

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito shuffled nervously, his eyes darting back and forth. He didn't want to be here when the guy, or even worse, another guy showed up.

[Yamitsu]

Yami was also really nervous. She really, REALLY didn't like being away from her cousin. But, she wanted so much for him to be proud of her, she wanted to at least try. She took a few breaths and tried to talk to him.

"I-i'm Y-yami. I l-like to write. I-i want to be a w-writer."

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito looked over. "I...I like to draw...."he mumbled shyly. He jumped as he heard an echo from down the hall.

[Yamitsu]

Yami looked down again, a sadder expression coming over her face.

"I...I used to draw."

She also flinched at the noise, but she hoped it was her cousin coming back. It was just a nurse down the hall, so she went back to staring at a spot next to Akito.

"D-did they take away your pencils and stuff, too? Nii-chan said this part was for people l-like me, a-and that they have to be c-careful with letting us have things..."

(Note: Yami is here for reasons in addition to having her phobias, so they have to take special care for her. Seth is only in that part of the building because of Yami. Since Akito thinks he's worthless, it's probably safe to say he'd be in that part, too. But, since he has a phobia for pain, I don't think they'd take the same precautions as with Yami. But, since they wouldn't want him to have anything the other patients in that part could get from him, they'd probably take them away, anyway. So, I dunno! Just decide what you want them to do! I'm confusing myself!^^)

[HotokoHoshi]

He nodded slowly,"They....they searched all my bags when I got here..."

[Yamitsu]

Yami looked down, nodding slightly to show they had done the same with her.

"Even our pants. They said we could have them back after they replace the zippers with plastic ones. We have to give them the ones we're wearing as soon as we get those back."

She seemed to be getting a little more comfortable talking to him, but she still wanted Seth to get back. She started thinking about all the problems she causes him. She's always thinking about it, wishing she could fix it.

"N-nii-chan does a lot for me. I cause a lot of trouble, and he doesn't even seem to mind. He could do so much more if I weren't around..."

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito just stared at the wall next to her,"You're lucky." He jumped at another sound and forced himself not to scurry off to his new room.

[Yamitsu]

Yami looked at the direction of the noise, but it was just another nurse, so she looked down again.

"Yeah, but he isn't..."

[HotokoHoshi]

As the nurse passed Akito jumped. It was a male nurse. He scooted closer to the wall and hid his face quickly. The nurse left the part of the hall, but Akito's handss remained up to his face. "Please don't hurt me. Please don't hurt me,"he whispered over and over, it was almost a chant.

[Yamitsu]

Yami watched, wanting to reach out and help him like her cousin would be doing, but she didn't know what to do, so she just watched.

[HotokoHoshi]

He slid to the floor, unable to take his hands down from his face, unable to stop pleading. "Please don't hurt me....please don't hurt me..." His throat was starting to hurt, but he didn't stop.

[Yamitsu]

Seth finished getting the food. It took a while because he knew Yami ate a lot and she must have been hungry because they hadn't eaten at all that day, plus he was getting something for the boy, too. He had found some nurses while he was getting the food who knew something about him, so he asked some questions.

'So, his name is Akito and he's afraid of guys...'

He found someone who had some wigs and makeup and was able to make himself look like a pretty convincing girl. He finally started walking back down the hall where he left yami and Akito, holding his index finger to his lips when Yami saw him and putting the food down. he walked up in front of Akito, smiling.

"Hey, you're Akito, right?!"

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito froze, halfway through another sentance and looked up. He realized his eyes were teared up and wiped the tears away softly. He nodded silently, still sitting on the floor.

[Yamitsu]

Seth smiled again, happy his plan was working.

"Hi! I'm Seraphim! I'm a helper here! It's nice to meet you!"

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito whimpered softly. He was still a bit freaked, to freaked out to talk or move. His eyes started tearing up again and his hiccuped.

[Yamitsu]

"Seraphim" looked at him with a worried expression and put "her" arms around him.

"You okay? What's wrong, nothing's going to hurt you here."


Yami watched, knowing it was her cousin and hoping what ever he was doing was working.

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito froze as the "girl" put her arms around him. "G-get off of me!" He pushed him off, realizing it was the boy from earlier. "G-GET OFF!!!"

[Yamitsu]

Seth's wig fell off and he looked hurt. He knew it was only because he was a guy, but he still wanted to help. He sighed and brought the food over to him, sitting next to Yami with their own food.

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito poked at his food, not looking over at Yami or the guy.

[Yamitsu]

Seth looked down, sorry he had tried to trick the boy and also sorry that he wasn't able to help. He looke at Yami, who was slowly eating her food but would surely finish every bit of it.

"Hey, were you able to make a new friend?"


Yami looked down at her food, shaking her head and shrugging her shoulders at the same time.


Seth laughed.

"Which is it, no or you don't know?"


Yami thought for a moment, then just shrugged her shoulders, still looking down.


Seth looked at her, then gave her a big, tight hug.

"Yami you're so adorable! And I missed you while I was gone, I really did!"

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito listened to them talk and play around, still poking at his food. He was slightly jealous, no one had ever played with him like that. Not even his sister most of the time....she had been to scared.

[Yamitsu]

Yami let Seth hug her. He was the only person who able to touch her at all. If anyone else tries to, she gets a sick feeling and freezes and usually starts trembling. Seth has to keep his arm around her in crowds to keep her from getting too overwelmed. He's the only person she trusts with all her heart. She looked at the wig and pointed at it, getting Seth to look, and then looked at him with a confused expression.


Seth looked at where Yami was pointing at the wig and then at the confused expression on her face. He smiled and whispered to her.

"I'll explain when we go back to the room. But for now, do you think you can get him to eat? he won't let me near him, but I still want to help."

Seth was so used to helping people, especially Yami, that it was just too hard for him to leave Akito alone. It hurt him to see that he caused fear in him, but he wanted to do something to help.Plus, if he could get Yami to really be friends with him, it would be like killing two birds with one stone! He turned so that he was facing the wall, so Akito could only see his back.


Yami was still confused, but she tried to do what her cousin asked. She scooted over to Akito, picking up a roll from his plate and holding it out with a pleading expression.

"P-please?"

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito looked at her, his one visable eye confused. He held out his hand for the roll and took it slowly. He held it up to his lips, the warmth feeling good against his skin. He stuck some of it in his mouth and chewed slowly.

[Yamitsu]

Yami half smiled, happy that she was able to to something but wishing Seth could see. She knew there must have been a good reason for all the weird stuff he was doing.


Seth continued to watch the wall, hoping everything was going well.

[HotokoHoshi]

AKito finished the roll and swallowed loudly. "T-thanks....Y-yami..."

[Yamitsu]

Yami gave another half smile and a very quiet "you're welcome." She still looked a little worried, though. She always ate so much, but had only eaten just that little roll. She wondered if she should get him to eat more...


Seth heard them say something to each other and was so happy to hear Yami actually talk to someone! he wanted to hug her again, but he wouldn't let himself ruin things by turing around, so he stayed where he was just smiling.

[HotokoHoshi]

He blinked and pushed his tray away, towards her,"Here....you're still hungry. I can hear you stomach..." It was the longest sentance Akito had said in awhile that wasn't fearful.

[Yamitsu]

Yami looked at him and heard her cousin laugh quietly. She was still a little hungry. Seth was always saying her stomach was a black hole. She could eat anything but never gained any weight. She took another roll from the tray for herself and held out a thing of corn for Akito.


Seth heard Akito say he could hear her stomach growling and couldn't help laughing a little. He thought about the doctors looking down her throat and telling them it led to a black hole!

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito shook his head,"I'm not h-hungry."

[Yamitsu]

Yami pouted. She really didn't think one roll was enough for anyone.

"Y-you should eat, even if y-you don't think you're hungry."

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito shook his head again,"I'm used to not eating. It's fine. My body won't take the food anyway if I did eat....."

[Yamitsu]

Yami looked confused and put the corn down.

"What do y-you mean?"

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito froze. "N-nothing! It's nothing!!" He started shuddering uncontrollably. "I don't....please don't hurt me....I didn't tell."

[Yamitsu]

Yami looked at him with a pained expression and almosted reached her hand out to him, but once she was almost close enough to touch him, her body was already starting to tremble, so she put her hand back down. Instead, she picked up Seth's wig.

"Akito, look."

She put it on over her face so that it looked like she was completely covered in hair.

[HotokoHoshi]

He blinked a few times, well more of winked really, and looked at her, calming down.

[Yamitsu]

Yami looked from side to side like she didn't know where anything was. She got up and tried to walk arounf, but walked into a wall. She sat back down and looked straight ahead.

"I think I need a hair cut. What do you think?"

[Yamitsu]

(Lol, I used to actually do stuff like that to cheer people up! I came up with this thing called "back pack head" by putting my back pack right in front of my face and talking in a funny voice!^^)

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito nodded slowly, biting on his thumb lightly.

[Yamitsu]

Yami took her fingers and made them look like sizzors going across the hair from the wig, and then took the wig off, almost completely smiling.

"Well, that's better."


Seth was doing his best to keep himself from bursting out laughing as he tried to imagime what Yami looked like while she was doing all that.

'Hahaha, she has no idea how funny she really is!'

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito showed her a little smile, enjoying his time with Yami.

[Yamitsu]

Yami's almost smile grew into a complete smile, over joyed that she wa actually able to help someone.

'Nii-chan would be so proud if he could see this!'


Seth was hoping all this was working. He was so proud of Yami for trying to hard! It took so much courage for her to even say hi to someone. He knew he'd been asking a lot from her when he asked her to stay and talk to Akito, but it looked like he had made the right choice!

'You're doing great, Yami! You too, Akito.'

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito sneezed suddenly, and scratched his nose wit his sleeve lightly, his eye tearing up slightly.

[Yamitsu]

Yami picked up a napkin from one of the trays and held it out to him.

[HotokoHoshi]

He took it,"Domo arigatou. I mean...thanks." He seemed embarassed by the japanese pharse that had slipped out.

[Yamitsu]

Yami smiled.

"Do itashi ma****e."

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito blushed. "Y-you know japanese?"

[Yamitsu]

Yami nodded.

"Our grandpa is Japanese..."

[Yamitsu]

(Hey, I just realized that it didn't spell out the whole word just because it had a bad word in it. I guess I can't say "I love you" in Japanese, either.^^)

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito nodded, knowing she meant the guy too, but he didn't want to look over there. He felt kinda bad about acting the way he did, but he couldn't help it. "I wish....I could show you one of my drawings." he said quietly. "But they took them away..."

[Yamitsu]

She looked up quickly.

"Even your drawings?! Dou****e?!" (I just wanted to see it not spell it out!^^)

[HotokoHoshi]

He shrugged."They were with my drawing supplies in one big bag. To "protect" me they took them away...." He was really sad. He loved drawing even if there was danger of getting hurt by it.

[Yamitsu]

Yami looked at him saddened. All her writing was in safe composition note books, so they only took the pencils and sharpeners and pens. She thought for a moment, then remembered something she used to do when she was little.

"Hey Nii-chan, didn't we see some Bahia grass when we were walking in? Can you run out and get some?"


Seth was already up and running when he heard her ask about the Bahia grass.

'Man, she's so clever! I'm still surprized she figured that out all by herself when she was so young! I never would have noticed!'



Yami smiled and went to her room, coming out with a note book and waiting for Seth to return.

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito was confused. He looked around and sat there, waiting for Yami to return. The hospital seemed so much bigger when he was alone.

[Yamitsu]

Yami sat down in front of kito as Seth came up with the grass, backing up so Akito couldn't see his face. He spoke in a soft voice.

"Wait'll you see this! I swear, Yami's a genius!"


Yami blushed and took the grass, peeling the seeds off the "bunny ears".

"No I'm not, I just play with things and notice stuff."

Yami started picking at the seeds, peeling off bits until she got to a small purple thing. She opened up the notebook and smeared it on the page, making a purple line. She did this a few more times until she had a smiley face.

"See? It's not much, but it's better than nothing."

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito blinked and his face broke out into a small smile. "C-can I see?"

[Yamitsu]

(Lol, I actually used to do that! I thought it was so cool!)

Yami smiled and showed him how to peel away the covering of the seeds to get to the purple stuff.


Seth laughed.

"Told you, Yami. Normal people don't figure stuff like that out!

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito put the paper on his knees, his hands already turning purple from the purple liquid. his bit his tounge softly as he doodled, his face twisted in concentration, as though he were diffusing a bomb.

[Yamitsu]

(Lol, it's not really a liquid, but it would be if you got enough and squeezed it a lot!^^)

Yami watched, pleazed that she was able to help more.

[HotokoHoshi]

((I didn't know what to say....plus the mental image was cute!! XD That looks so weird when I reread it.....))
He looked up and showed her the doodle. It was a large purple rose sloppily done, the petals wilting.

[Yamitsu]

Yami looked at it wide eyed.

"Oh, it's pretty. Purple happens to be my favorite color! So, it's interesting that it's the color the seeds have in them. Wow, I've never been any good at drawing roses."

[HotokoHoshi]

He handed it over and looked at his hands,"Y-you can have it. Once I get m-my supplies back, I'll draw a better one." He smiled softly.

[Yamitsu]

Yami took it, still looking at it, then smiled at him.

"Really? Thank you!"


Seth wanted so much to turn around and hug them both, but he used every bit of his will power to stay put.

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito looked back down at his paper and started drawing again and before long, he looked back up at Yami, waving her down. He showed her this rose too and smiled softly.

[Yamitsu]

Yami smiled again, seeing that she had done a good job of cheering him up. She was so happy!

[HotokoHoshi]

He leaned towards her. "Hey...do me a favor....give this to him. Please?"he whispered softly. He held out the sheet of paper.

[Yamitsu]

Yami looked at him and took it, smiling brightly. She ran over to her cousin and gave it him, saying it was from Akito.


Seth looked at the picture Yami gave to him from Akito.

"Okay, give this to him!"

He gave her a big hug.


Yami was a little reluctant, but she gathered up her courage and ran up to Akito, hugging him as tightly as she could.

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito's eyes widened, but he relaxed after a moment and shakily hugged her back. "I've....It's been so long since I've been hugged,"he mumbled to himself.

[Yamitsu]

Yami was surprized when he started hugging her back. She let go a little.

"Th-that was from Nii-chan, for the drawing."

She looked down, then hugged him again, a little bit tighter this time, whispering.

"But this is from me..."

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito felt his face heat up and he let her go. "I-it's time for my docter's appointment to see if my eye is healing." He made sure just to mention the visable injury and not the ones hidden by his clothes. He stood slowly and waved to her before walking off. The hospital had made sure that only females would be his docter, and only females would be around him.

[Yamitsu]

Yami watched him walk away, surprized that she had actually done that. As soon as he was gone, she was tackle hugged by Seth.


"Yami! You were awesome! I'm so proud of you! You did great!"

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito walked into the docter's office and sat down on the bed. The docter pulled off his eye patch and flinched away. His eye was swollen shut and bright red, haveing been sewn up a few days ago. He gasped as air hit the wound, it hurt so bad, his father had smashed a beer bottle against his face recently when he was drunk and the bottle had shattered. His eye actually had a small posibility of never healing, but the docters assured him it probably would. Until then however, he was taken away from his father, and safe. "A-akito....how is your eye doing?" she asked, her voice shaking. "It hurts.....it hurts so bad,"he whispered, unable to speak any louder.

[Yamitsu]

Seth got up and picked everything up. He helped Yami up and looked at her.

"You're probably wondering what all this was about, right?"


She looked at him as he helped her up and asked her the question, nodding that it was exactly what she had been thinking about.


Seth gave a sad smile, knowing it'll make her sad but also knowing that she'd want to know. He was so used to helping people all the time, especially Yami, so it was diffcult for him to accept that there was nothing he could do for Akito. He felt bad asking Yami for so much, but so far it seemed to working out for bothher and Akito. Maybe this was exactly what they both needed.

"Come on, I'll tell you in the room."

They both went into their room where Seth explained everything to Yami. By the time he was done, she was on the verge of tears and he held her in his arms.

"I'm really sorry Yami, but this time I can't do anything. It's all up to you, if you'll do it."


Yami held onto him and nodded, showing that she understood and that she wanted to try. She really, really wanted to try.

[HotokoHoshi]

The docter slipped the eye patch back on before writing something down in a notepad. She looked back up. "Under the shirt Akito." He removed his jacket slowly and pulled off his shirt exposing bruises and bandages. "How do your wounds feel today?" He shook his head,"Worse than yesterday. I think my treatments were working better than these hospital ones."

[Yamitsu]

Yami had fallen asleep in Seth's lap, so he couldn't move or really do anything. He looked at the pictures Akito had drawn for them, sadly smiling.

'It's amazing, they're both so talented, but also so tortured. Why does it usually work out that way? Why can't they be happy and special. Poor kids...'

He looked down at Yami sleeping, thinking of all the things she used to draw and paint. Even when she first started out and they weren't really that good, they held some kind of special beauty in them. He thought it was her absolute love and desire for it. But then she suddenly decided to stop. It made him so sad, but he could tell she didn't want to talk about it, so he dropped it. they never brought it up again, but now he couldn't stop thinking about it. She had also always been interested in reading and writing, but didn't decide to take it seriously until after she quit drawing. Now she was determined to become a writer. He only hoped that dream didn't disappear, as well...

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito walked through the hospital, his new bandages tight, his wounds still stinging from the antibiotics. He sighed, walking through the hallway of dorms for paitients. "I hate it here. At least at home I got to draw...."

[Yamitsu]

Seth woke up, noticing that his lap was cold. He looked around and saw that the lights were off and Yami was gone.

'I guess I must have fallen asleep. Yami must have gotten up and turned the lights off. I wonder where she is.

He could already feel the worry and separation anxiey from having no idea where she was. He tried in vain to just wait for her, but after ten seconds he was at the door and walking out.

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito was sitting in his room, staring at the ceiling sleepily. He yawned and looked around the plain white room, with nothing but two beds. One for him and one for the person that would never share a room with him, the bed that would forever remain empty.

[Yamitsu]

Yami was in the bathroom washing her face when she heard Seth calling her outside somewhere.

'Wow, I knew he'd come looking for me soon, but I didn't expect him to wake up so quickly.'

She quickly finished up and ran out to catch him.


Seth had been looking for only three minutes, but every second made him more and more anxious. Normally, he could stay away from her for a little while, one day maximum, if it was for a good reason. But he couldn't bear not knowing where she was. He saw her come out of a bathroom and tackled her before she could even turn around.

"Yami! I was so worried about you! I had no idea where you were!!!"

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito heard a loud commotion outside his room and blinked away his sleepiness. He had heard the guy from earlier and his mind rambled through what it could mean. It means that Yami-chan is out there too! he thought in a sleepy excited way, turning over in his bad, hugging a pillow. he wanted to go out there, but a guy was out there and that was a big no-no for him.

[Yamitsu]

Yami tapped him on the shoulder.

"Um, Nii-chan? You're squeezing too hard."


Seth let go as soon as he heard what Yami said and went into an appology rant.

"I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry, my dear little fragile cousin that I love so dearly, I was just so worried about you, I couldn't help it!"


"It's okay, It's okay, please breathe!"

Yami smiled, showing him that he was completely forgiven.

"I guess we're both awake now? I'm sorry, I just woke up and had to go to the bathroom. I didn't want to leave, but you were so sound asleep."


Seth smiled back, relieved that he didn't crush her with his hug.

"That's okay. Now that i think about it, I gotta go, too. I'll be right out."

And he went into the bathroom next to the one she just came out of.

Yami sat on the floor against the wall, hugging her knees to her chest and resting her head on them.

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito pulled himself out of bed, stumbling over to his door. "H-hey...could you two be a little quieter?" he called softly. His pain medication was kicking in and he was tired. "P-please?"

[Yamitsu]

The sound of someone talking to her from behind the door she was sitting next to startled her a bit, but then she realized it was Akito.

"A-akito? I'm sorry, really, we both are! Nii-chan just overreacted a little about something. W-we'll be quiet."

[Yamitsu]

(Hey, have you noticed that this is practically a one-on-one now, since no one else has done anything since we joined? Kind of funny, since I found this one in the Advanced Roleplay section, and we're the only ones posting!^^)

Akito nodded sleepily, leaning against the wall staring at his door. "D-dun stop tallking....it's relaxing."he yawned.

[Yamitsu]

Yami leaned back against the wall, with her head turned toward the door.

"O-okay. Um, knock knock?"

[HotokoHoshi]

Akito blinked. "S-seriously? You can just come in Yami-chan..." He giggled drunkishly, really tired. It felt like they had given him to much medicine this time. His head was swimming and he felt like he was falling even though he was on solid ground.

[Yamitsu]

Yami laughed.

"No, I was trying to make a joke! But I'll come in if you want me to. Although, Seth will be coming back out soon, and I'll have to let him know where I am."

Akito nodded, mumbling something sleepily. "Right....right..."

[Yamitsu]

Seth had heard everything and he came out of the bathroom showing Yami the thumbs up sign. She nodded, smiling a little and knocked on his door as Seth tip-toed back to their room at he end of the hall.

"Okay, he says it's alright. And don't worry, he's gone."

Akito pulled open the door sleepily and looked up at her, plopping down on the ground. He shook his head; something was really wrong, but his mind was to fuzzy to figure out what. "Hey Yami-chan...."

[Yamitsu]

Yami looked at him concerned. She hadn't expected him to be so tired.

"Um, do you want me to come back later...?"

[HotokoHoshi]

he shook his head slightly, half dozing. "I dun feel good,"he mumbled, collapsing.

[Yamitsu]

Yami stared wide eyed for a moment, then came to her senses and tried to wake him up. When it didn' work, she picked him up and ran down the hall. (Not only can she eat alot, she's also stronger than she looks.^^ Plus, he seems really light.) As soon as she got to her room, she knocked quickly on the door.


Seth had been waiting in their room for Yami to come back and then heard rapid knocking on the door. He was at the door in probably .2 seconds and had it opened, staring at a very distressed Yami and a collapsed Akito. He took him and layed him on the bed, Yami following, and they both watched him, waiting to see if they should get help.

Akito's breathing was shallow and he did not stir as he lay on the bed.

[Yamitsu]

Seth could see that Akito wasn't in good shape. He looked at Yami's worried expression.

"Yami, I'm going to go get a nurse. Can you stay here with him and watch him while I'm gone?"


Yami stared at him wide eyed, not wanting him to leave.


"Yami, he needs help, and I don't think it would be good if he woke up alone or with me around. You understand, right?"


Yami looked away, defeated, and nodded. Then she looked back at him with a determined exresion and nodded more deliberately.


Seth patted her on the head and smiled.

"That's my brave little cousin. We're counting on you."

Then he left to go find a nurse, leaving Yami at the side of the bed.

Akito panted lightly, sweat breaking out across his forhead.

[Yamitsu]

Yami could Akito sweating, so she placed one of her hands on his forehead. They were always strangely cold, so she hoped it helped some. His forehead was really hot, which worried her even more.


Seth found a nurse and was walking quickly back to the room, wanting to run but knowing he shouldn't.

Akito moaned softly," O-onee-chan...." He turned towards Yami, his eyes still closed," Why....?"

[Yamitsu]

Yami looked at him slightly confused and still worried.

"Aki-chan? Are you okay...?"


Seth finally got back to the room with the nurse and stood at the door, ready to duck behind it if Akito looked his way.

The nurse leaned down and moved Yami's hand aside. She took his tempeture and frowned. "He is very sick. I need to get a docter." She scurried out of the room and Akito grabbed Yami shirt lightly. "Oneechan.....please....help me....he's....he's coming!!!&qu
