When The World Meets Its Fate

The world, buring in it's own flame of hatred and sin, has reached the year 2210. With murder, suicide, and rape boiling the earth's core, one lone vampire has come to clean the world of sinners.

One fateful night, a young girl walks through a corn field. Her head is tucked low and her arms are holding her middle as dark brown hair wraps around her face due to the wind. Unknowing of the danger infront of her, she walks straight into the arms of a tall, fat, man who's eyes are drenched with lust.

Minutes later, the man falls dead beside her. Blood spraying the girl in the face. Tramatised, the girl only sees the eyes of her hero before fainting from fear.

The vampire should be cold and heartless towards humans, and only kill the people commiting evil acts. The vampire in question can have any idea about the girl what-so-ever. He/She can love her, be a protector/brother/sister, or whatever. It's your descision.

She always has a smile on her face which annoys a lot of people for reasons she doesn't understand. When the time calls for it however, she can be serious. Biography:Aislynn was left on the front steps of an orphanage when she was 11 months old. It was soon found out by the orphanage staff that Aislynn was blind. The orphanage staff was never that kind to her because they viewed her blindness as a disease. Aislynn never let it bother her and when she was old enough she gratefully left the orphanage. She now lives in the city with her dog who helps guide her around.

{Oh wow. Two vampires. That could work. I'll start, the night after the attack and everything.}

Miranda woke up, groggy and disoriented. A weight on her arm broke her out of her revvie and she forced herself to look up. She squinted her dark brown eyes, trying to focus. Upon seeing the site of a dead many lying face down on her arm, she blacked out, again; a small scream issuing from her lips.

When she awoke later, the sun was down at it was dark. She forced herself up from the ground and pulled her arm out from underneath the man. Miranda pulled her arm to her side and held it, her chest heaving. What had happened? Why had it happened? Who was it? Why wasn't she dead? Tears trailed her cheeks, which were filthy with dirt. She could have been dead. Gathering her thoughts, and calming herself down the best she could, the girl started home, paranoid that someone would jump through the corn to attack her.

Axel walked down the streets. He licked his lips, still tasting blood. It had been so long since he killed someone, so his kill last night was amazing. He walked towards his apartment building, where Cheif was waiting for him.

Aislynn trailed her fingertips along the brick wall of a back alley to help guide her towards the end of it. Once she felt just air under her fingertips she stopped and listened. Since she had no sight Aislynn relied heavily on her other senses. After listening for any danger she made her way onto the streets of the city. She didn't feel to lost in the city since she had been exploring it for a long time now. Another thing that helped her was a black lab she had named Knight. Knight made sure she was safe at night and helped to guide her through more complected parts of the city. Speaking of Knight, Aislynn felt the soft fur of his coat under her left hand. "Hey boy! Are you ready to see if we can find some food today?" She asked the dog with a small smile on her lips. She got a soft bark in reply that made her smile grown a little more.

Miranda held herself, as her body shook slightly. She was easily frightened at the recent events could has given her a heartattack. She didn't take lightly to strange things, seeing as she was scared of almost anything. Her fear of touching metal objects seemed just silly, though she couldn't help it. Miranda hated the feeling of static shock, and was also scared she could blow up if one little shock like that made her spontaneously self-combust. But yes, little things like that scare her half to death. She tripped on a stumb of a corn stalk and tumbled to the ground, coughing and spitting up dirt as she felt her face hit the dirt. Miranda was also, extremly clumsy. She could probably kill herself with anything, if given the chance.

"Would you like some help miss?" he asked her.
He put on a charming smile and moved his hair so she could see his golden eyes.

Miranda looked up and then as reflex shrank away from him. She blinked. Those eyes...Where did she remember them from?
"I-I'm fine..Thanks." She said quietly, her voice defensive, but fearful.
Strangers. She didn't take very kindly to them.

"Are you sure?" Axel asked.
He knew the girl. He killed the man who has lust in his eyes when he saw her. He fought back to show her who he was.

~Marcus's Prologue~

Marcus stepped onto the platform, his dark golden eyes looking around at the cattle around him with a blank expression. He walked amongst the humans in the overly-crowded train station, his eyes watching.

Marcus was always watching, for what, soemtimes he himself didn't even know. He was a solitary man, atleast he was once a man, a very long, long time ago. He smirked, human's were so foolish, he almost hated them... and yet, he felt sorry for the innocent ones, woman with abusive hsubands, small children getting sexually abused, children who have no sense of right from wrong and those black mailed into doing wrong deeds.

He had been travelling for a day and a half, and he still had a short journey to go, first however he would have to make it across Amsterdam, take a bus to the nearest small airport only because Marcus could never handle a crowded, large airport where there were plenty of scum, and then begin his long flight to his destination, Oh well... it will be better then sitting in a cold damp castle in Russia... He had to admit that he had no clue why he had decided to travel so far from his latest home, he had spent two hundred years in Russia, it seemed like such a short time too...

Miranda nodded and titled her head sideways, watching him carefully. He looked familiar, his eyes did anyway.
"Sorry, but...Do I..Do I know you?" she asked, sitting up, just incase she had to run. Aside from being clumsy and accident-prone, Miranda was very agile. She could run for miles, if she was allowed. Her brown eyes traveled away form him toward the sky. It had taken her this long to relize that it was nighttime. She groaned and stood up. "I'm sorry...I really do have to go.." She said quietly.

"I understand," Axel said bowing. "until we meet again fair lady."
He walked into the apartment building next to them and sighed. Today wasn't a good day, it was a great day.

Aislynn was currently standing in the shadows of a large building her unfocused eyes staring blankly ahead. She was only a few feet away from a food vendor and was contemplating whether of not to steal some food. I know its wrong but I'm just so hungry. She thought while her stomach grumbled, reminding her that the last time she ate was almost two days ago. While she continued to contemplate stealing the food or not, Aislynn ran her fingers through Knight who was currently sitting at her left side. Taking a deep breath and inhaling the smell of the cooking food Aislynn decided to steal the food. Alight now I just have to figure out how to do it. She thought with a frustrated sigh.

Miranda nodded and walked quickly, holding herself. Tonight wasn't turning out so well. She looked around corners as she passed, glanced fearfully down alleyways and almost tripped down the stairs to the subway, having been preoccupied with looking around a corner. Regaining her balance, she sighed. The smell of food reached her nose. It wasn't until that time her stomach grumbled. She frowned and reached into her pocket, finding some money. She smiled slightly and made her way to the vendor. "Two hotdogs, please," Miranda said softly.

The large man grumbled something Miranda couldn't understand and reached down into a large container with a metal food grabber, or something. Miranda wasn't good with names for objects like that. After a minute or so, she was finally able to pay. She took the hotdogs happily and began to walk away, taking a bit of one.
A girl with a black dog caught her eye and she went over to her. "You have a beautiful dog." Miranda said qwith a smile, drawing the hotdog away from her mouth. She noticed the girl's eyes. They were a light blue, like that of a blind person's. It suddenly clicked, but she continued to smile. It didn't bother her. Everyone was different.

~~To Now~~

Marcus watched out his window, his dark golden eyes illuminating into a much brighter gold. He looked down at the city streets below him quite unimpressed, Perhaps I should have stayed in Amsterdam... He knew that would have been impossible, he had been drawn to this place, why, he did not know, all he knew was that he was extremely unentertained by the lack of festivities, even more so he missed the pleasing taste of his nightly absynthe, now he was stuck with plain alcohols such as rum, vodka, gin, all of which were unpleasing to his taste...

Aislynn's attention was drawn away from thinking of how to steal the food when she heard the girls voice. After a few seconds of comprehending what she had said Aislynn flashed a small smile in the direction she heard the voice. "Thank you! Although he isn't really my dog. We just kind found each other and Knight decided to stick around." She said with a small laugh.
She had taken in a breath after laughing and that is when her nose picked up the smell of hotdogs coming from the girl. Her stomach let out another large noise in complaint of the lack of food. A small tinge of pink covered Aislynn's face when she heard it and she new the girl in front of her heard it also.

Miranda tilted her head slightly. She laughed quietly. "Oh, don't be embarressed. It's a lot better than almost falling down into the subway station." She said, trying to get the girl to feel less embarressed. "Would you want one?" Miranda asked, speaking about a hotdog. "I wouldn't mind. My treat?" She said with a smile.

Aislynn blinked in surprise at the strangers kindness. Most of the time she only ran into rude people who shoved her out of the way. After getting of the surprise Aislynn flashed another smile towards the girl. "Thank you very much! I promise I shall find a way to repay you for your kindness." She said honestly. Knight, as if to agree with what Aislynn had said, moved closer to the girl and gave her a small lick on her leg, as his tail wagged back and forth.

Miranda grinned. "No problem. I bought two. You can have this one." She said, holding one out to her. She looked down at Knight. "Would you like one too, Boy?" She asked, crouching down and petting him. Miranda had seen the flash of surprise flash over Aislynn's face and wondered why. She shrugged and stood up. "Name is Miranda." She said, introducing herself.

"Again thank you and it is nice to meet you Miranda. My name is Aislynn by the way." Aislynn said with a smile when she took the hot dog from Miranda. "O don't worry about Knight, I can share half of mine with him." Aislynn told her as she broke the hot dog into. Knight was currently wagging his tail at almost the speed of light while he was getting pet by Miranda.

"Good Evening Axel," Alexandria's enchanting and delicate voice was thick with a beautiful European accent, perhaps German or maybe even French. Her black eyes concealed a sky-blue ring of flecks around her small pupils, her lips a deep rouge.

"Again thank you and it is nice to meet you Miranda. My name is Aislynn by the way." Aislynn said with a smile when she took the hot dog from Miranda. "O don't worry about Knight, I can share half of mine with him." Aislynn told her as she broke the hot dog into. Miranda smiled. "Alright then. Nice to meet you Ai...sylnn..." She giggled. "I'm sorry, I can't pronounce that right." She said quietly, her cheeks turning a slight pink. "Sorry." Miranda spoke softly. How embarressing.

"Don't worry about it, most people have problems pronouncing my name." Aislynn told her while she handed half of her hot dog out for knight. A small giggle escaped her throat when she felt his slimy tongue go over the palm of her hand. Wiping the slim off on her jeans she lifted her head back up in the direction of Miranda. "Just think of the name Ashly but instead of the ly part it's Lynn." She explained.

"That makes it easier, Aislynn." She said giving her name anouther try. Miranda actaully said it right. "It's a pretty name." She looked around. "Would you like to go sit down?" She asked, spotting a bench.

(( comical you are gonna love this, Marcus is not only following her, but I also used the whole killing the wicked thing in Marcus' laws since he is the first... also I made up some vamp history for the RP hope you like))

Just as Marcus was about to turn away from the window he paused and looked back out. He could see two girl's below talking, a black dog within their presence. He was drawn to them, why he once again did not know, he needed to investigate. He left his apartment and went out the back way. He walked up the alley near where the two young girls stood and listened. The one girl''s voice trickled in his ears, and then he knew why they had stood out to him, one of the girl's had come in contact with one of his 'children'.

He had found what he had came all this distance for, to find one of his few, infected youth. Whom it was he did not know, he himself had only infected three humans, and two had managed to infect five all together, he had slaughtered them for each had chosen atleast one fool to make their child. Only on of his true three children remained, Alexandria, and she had never infected another, is she hunted it was to kill...

There were very few of their kind, and all of them, except for a few defiant children and a few that had never even encountered another of their species, lived by Marcus' laws. Marcus' laws were simple enough:
1. Avoid Spreading the Gene-If you bite make sure your prey is dead.
2. If you are to purposely infect a human, then do so smartly, infect those worthy of the gene, those who do not rape, kill or abuse, chose those of honor and intelligence.
3. Never let your secret be known to humans.
4. Never infect an animal, the penalty is death.
5. Only use the damned as Cattle.

Marcus and Alexandria had determined that there were no more then two-hundred of their kind, many of which Markus monitored and would kill if they broke his laws. There was order amongst their kind, which was the way he wanted it to stay. Which of his children had encountered this girl, he had to wonder... and more importantly, where was Alexandria? He watched as the girls moved to a bench, he followed, staying clsoe and out of site before hiding close by alley, this tiem he was even closer to the girls... he would follow the girl in question, what was her name? Not Aislynn, he would listen to find out, then he would follow her till she was alone and then encounter her...

He rubbed his eyes and yawned. He was tired after killing and hadn't slept in three days.
"I'm going to bed," he said.

Alexandria smirked, "I see you know of me, then you know of my master Marcus?" She walked towards the man, placing her right hand on his right shoulder then walked behind him so that when she reached his left side her arm was around his shoudlers. Her lithe form looked frail next to his, her long black hair fell across one eyes as she oeered at him, "You are the reason for mu master, your father's restlessness... tell me- who was it who turned you Axel? And why is it we have never seeb you within our halls? All of Marcus' children come to him once they are capable... why not you?" Alexandria was finding herself batrly able to resist her usual urges, but Marcus had given her strict orders to approach then report back without delay. He had even forbid her to even so much whisper seductive words to him... It was a shame indeed...

Miranda flipped her dark brown hair over her shoulders, as she watched Aislynn, just incase she may need to help her. "I won't be able to stay and talk long. My parent's are possibly worried sick. I haven't been home in two days." Miranda said casually with a small laugh. "What about you? Do you live alone or with family?" She asked, trying to make small talk.

Miranda's eyes wandered to an alleyway, sensing someone watching them. She squinted into the darkness, but could see nothing. Her mother always argued with her about glasses. Miranda only felt she would lose them if she had them. She frowned and turned back toward the girl, petting Knight on the head softly. She hated that feeling, though..she was a bit paranoid. She shook her head at the thought of someone watching the both of them, and took the last bite of the hotdog, and tossed the napkin in a garbage bin beside the bench.

Aislynn had sat down beside Miranda and took another bite of food while the girl talked to her. At her question however a small sadness seeped into Aislynn's blue eyes. "I live alone....well not completely alone there is always Knight." She said while petting the dog on the head. "I better not hold you up then f your 'rents are expecting you home soon. It was nice to meet you Miranda." She said while holding out her hand to shake with her new friend.
Knight was currently staring straight into the dark alley, his ears perked for any movement. Like most animals Knight had some what of a sixth sense and right now his sense where telling him that something was in the alley watching his owner. Knight did not however feel threatened by the thing, so far so he didn't cause a fuss.

Miranda smiled and took the girl's hand, shaking it gently. "It was nice to meet you, too. See you, soon?" She asked, standing up.

Marcus watched as the girl's shook hands, The girl has good senses. He pulled back deeper into the shadows, he would very soon catch her alone, and then he could investigate into the matter of which of his many 'children' she came in contact with. He ran a strong hand through his hair as he waited, Where is Alexandria? She had not arrived at the apartment he had rented out several weeks before they came. They had travelled seperately, but nothing would have delayed her. She better have a fair explanation, Markus thought coldly at this disobedience of his own Peronal pet that he himself had turned...

Aislynn with drew her hand from Miranda's grip as she too stood up. "Will I won't actually see you but yes I would love to meet up with you again." Aislynn said with a small laugh. "Goodbye and thank you again for the food." She said as she patted Knight on the head, signaling silently that they where going to leave. Knight's gaze tore away from the alley and looked up at Aislynn. He then stood up and to his place by her side and waited for her to start down the street.

Miranda laughed softly at her comment. "No need for thanks." She said with a smile. "I'll talk with you soon." She told her quietly. Miranda's tan hand pet Knight's head gently, then turned back toward home, ready to relieve her parent's from worry.
She walked quickly down the sidewalk, away from the bench. Her quiet, scared self came back to her when she was alone and her arms immediatly wrapped themselves around her, as she watched the people around her. Anyone of them could be a killer, theif, or rapist if they wanted to be. She shivered. That was a scary thought. Being alone in the world was a scary thought.

Marcus watched, and then he waited, he wanted her alone, not in the center of a busy side walk. Nay, he needed her alone, so that he may focus all senses on her without distraction. He was ready to follow again, for a second he would appear in a different alley, then behind a city truck, and so forth he followed with great care so that she couldn't possibly catch glimpse, even if she knew she was being followed, it didn't matter so long as she didn't see him...

"Come on boy it's alright well see her again." Aislynn told Knight who was currently whining in the direction Miranda had gone off in. With one final whine Knight turned his head around and faced Aislynn. Aislynn who felt the shift started to walk down the side walk in a slightly different direction from Miranda. "Lets see if we can find a place to rest for the night." She told Knight who she could her walking beside her.

Miranda made her way to a small dirt driveway, away from the bustling down. She forced her arms away from her middle and looked up. Her home wasn't very big, just a small white little house. It wasn't far away from the town either, not even a mile. Trees surrounded it, the only trees Miranda had seen, othe rthen at the park. It was sad, seeing how everywhere she turned farmland was being turned into subdivisions and forests were being demolished. Only 10 acres was considered the rainforest, a place many people fought to have saved. Tigers had gone extinct along with lions, just ten years ago. Things were changing drastically. So much of the natural world was gone.
Miranda took a deep breath, and almost choked. Something must have caught fire in town, possibly an apartment because the air was thick. She walked up to the wooden porch and went inside, seeing the lights out. Her parent's must be alseep already. A note was on the table. 'Where have you been? We will settle this tomorrow morning. Supper is in the fridge.' was scrawled out on a tiny peice of napkin. Her mother's, she guessed.

Marcus waited outside the little white house that the girl had gone into. He leaned up against a tree and reached into his pocket. He pulled out a pack of Export A Blue's Kingsize cigarettes. He pulled one from the package and placed it in his mouth as well as he put the pack back in his pocket. He then pulled out a zippo and lit the cigarette, inhaling a long dag and exhaling it. He watched and waited, preferring that she would come back outside. He did not want to enter the house without permission, it was not his way.

Miranda opened the refridgerator door and took out three large bowls, setting them on the counter. Though she had just eaten a hotdog, she was still hungry. Getting a bowl and spoon, she got her food and placed it in the microwave. Miranda cleaned up her mess and when the microwave beeped, she opened it and got her food, closed it again and went outside, to sit on the porchswing. Roast, mashed potatoes, and macaroni and cheese. She smiled, it was her favorite. She closed the door behind her and looked up, jumping slightly. A red ring caught her attention, it was quick but she noticed. Who was smoking? Her body began to quiver and she placed her foor on the swing. "Dad? Is that you?" She asked. It wasn't likily seeing as her dad would never touch a cigarrette.

[Durwen]

Marcus had found his opertunity. He began to walk towards her, as soon as light hit he made sure to make eye contact, "Please, do not be afraid, I will not hurt you..." He stopped, keeping his distance, if he moved towards he too fast, or got to close she might scream or run inside to alarm any others of his presence, so there he stayed, the mooning hitting half of his face, allowing some visual of him. He took another drag and looked at her, his head tilted, I was right... The girl had boviously been near a vampire, he could smell blood on her, but not only that, the aura of another vampire clung to her. She had been close by, perhaps she had even touched him...

Miranda took a step back, watching him carefully. She always had trouble trusting people, so why made him any different. The sad thing, however, was that if he decided to come closer and possibly hurt her, she wouldn't be able to run. "Who are you?" She forced through her lips, just loud enough for him to hear. She grimaced slightly as he took anouther drag of the cigarette. Smoking irritated her for some reason. It always made the soker smell bad.

Marcus took another drag and slowly he blew out. He had done it with such precision and grace that he could have been a model for smoking ads. He quirked an eyebrow at the girl, she was not overly frightened, atleast she had not started screaming or started to act irrationally...

He flicked out the cigarette and put it back in its pack before looking at her again. He then glanced up at her and tilted his head. The one corner of his mouth curled up into a sort of half-smirk, half-grin, "I am Marcus." He bowed with the etiquette of perhaps a noble, or a lord. He stood up straight again, his golden eyes that seemed to enhance from the moonlight gazing at her. His accent was european without a doubt, a strange mix of english and german that was quite unique and yet so very charming.

Miranda blinked. Did she know him from somewhere? She didn't think so. If that was the case, then why was he standing in front of her. She chewed her tounge slightly, a nervous habit. "What do you want?" She asked, knowing she sounded rude. She didn't mean to sound rude, but she couldn't really help it. Her brown eyes caught his golden ones. They were the same color as the other guy's, but a brighter. He was also more handsome, more...Oh, she couldn't think of the word. She wrapped her arms back around her middle, watching him closely and waiting for his reply.

Marcus looked at her for a moment, considering the young girl, "I noticed the blood on you earlier, I was in the streets in city and I was concerned. Look, there is blood on your sleeve and in strands of your hair." He gestures with his eyes where he meant and sure enough there was indeed blood...

Miranda looked down at her sleeve and she lost some color in her face. It was obviously that man's blood. Her eyes wided. Oh God...that man. Now that she noticed it, she could smell the flood in her hair. She shivered and looked back at the man, silently. This probably looked bad, but she didn't kill or hurt anyone. She couldn't have...Miranda blinked and looked back down, noticing specks of blood on her top and jeans. If it wasn't for the man watching her, she probably would have fainted.

[Durwen]

Marcus watched her reaction, Is she going to vommit? He looked at her, "Don't worry I highly doubt that you could hurt anyone," He gave his head a sharp, quick flick, his bands flipping out of his eyes, "Quite Clearly someone tried to hurt you, didn't they?" Marcus watched her, humans were odd creatures, so frail and weak, yet some could still be more wicked then an animal infected with'the gene'. She was an innocent, he could tell, and that was not her blood on her shirt, he needed the facts, and he was doing a quite excellent job so far. He had already determined so much...

Miranda nodded slightly. Why was he wanting to know about that? She didn't want to think about it. She had too many thoughts running through her mind already. Miranda resumed the posistion of holding herself. "Would you like to..," she paused and looked around. "Would you like to sit down..or something?" She asked. She wanted to eat, take a shower, and sleep but it didn't seem as if that was going to happen anytime soon.

Marcus raised his eyebrows, he had not expected her to to invite him near. However he could not pass up the chance, "I will gladly take your offer." He walked up to the porch, joining her. He sat down and looked at her, she had avoided his question. "You are alright then?" One of his arms rested on the back of the chair so that his body could be turned towards her as he spoke to her.

Miranda sat down in the chair opposite of him and nodded. "I guess I am..." She said quietly. Of coarse, she hadn't been hurt physically, atleast, she hadn't noticed. The only harm to her was that she probably wouldn't be able to sleep without seeing those golden eyes and the look in the dead man's face before he was killed. She almost quivered at the thought.

[Durwen]

Marcus watched her, noting the shudder. Something serious had happened, the blood wasn't the only clue either. The way she acted was odd and strange. "You seem shaken, did somebody try to hurt you?" He didn't like this, if one of his kind had tried to harm her then he would have to hunt to kill one of his own children, an act which was never a happy one.

Miranda looked up at him quickly when he spoke. She nodded, growing more curious about the man infront of her. Was he some kind of cop? She blinked and looked at him. "Last night..." She told him, somehow knowing that he would ask more. "I don't really remember much.."

Marcus frowned, Night-Time, was it one of my- He paused, it didn't make sense, that was not vampire blood on the girl. He was able to better smell it, no it was human, has she merely witnessed an attack and managed to escape? This was a delicate matter, highly delicate, "I am glad that you are alright. When I saw you earlier I was worried and I wondered what had happened to you, that is why I followed." He stared at her, he wouldn't get much more out of her, atleast not that evening. "There are bad people in this world, and there's alot of things we dont understand, and sometimes the answers are hidden right before us..." He smiled at her, although it took alot of effort it came, and when it did it was charming and kind, "It would have been a shame if a pretty girl like you had gotten hurt..."

Miranda blinked. She couldn't tell if his last comment was actually sincere or sarcasm, even though it did sound kind. "What do you mean?" She asked quietly, "What do you mean about the answers being hidden?" Miranda was confused, tired, and hungry. She couldn't make sense of anything at the moment.

Alexandria smirked, "I see you know of me, then you know of my master Marcus?" She walked towards the man, placing her right hand on his right shoulder then walked behind him so that when she reached his left side her arm was around his shoudlers. Her lithe form looked frail next to his, her long black hair fell across one eyes as she oeered at him, "You are the reason for mu master, your father's restlessness... tell me- who was it who turned you Axel? And why is it we have never seeb you within our halls? All of Marcus' children come to him once they are capable... why not you?" Alexandria was finding herself batrly able to resist her usual urges, but Marcus had given her strict orders to approach then report back without delay. He had even forbid her to even so much whisper seductive words to him... It was a shame indeed...

Axel turned to Alexandria.
"It was Viktor," he said, "I left when i knew I could take care of myself. And I'm not Marcus' son so he's not my father, so I don't have to visit him. I also don't visit Marcus because he killed Viktor, the man who raised me till he died."

Miranda blinked and withdrew deep into the chair. It was a bit odd for someone she just met to call her pretty. She grew a bit more uncomfortable, like a person did when a little old lady said that the person in question was very pretty, or somehitng of that sort. "Thank you..." She said quietly, watching him. She had to admit that it was nice to hear...she just tried not to be so gullible. People frightened her, seeing as they were unpredictable creatures, just as she was.

Marcus smiled at her faintly, "You have yet to tell me your name." It was hard for him to act in such ways towards the human girl, to be kind, and sweet was not his usal act, but for the cause he has before him he had no choice...

Axel turned to Alexandria.
"It was Marcus," he said, "I left when i knew I could take care of myself. I don't like being with my 'father' and his children much. It bugs me."

She stood up straight her chin tilted upwards, her eyes watching Axel, one hand resting on her hip, the other left dangling beside her.

After a half an hour of trying to fall to sleep Aislynn finally managed to. Lately she hadn't really gotten a good nights sleep and tonight wasn't any different. She tossed her head restlessly and let out a small whimper. Her body shook slightly from the cold night air and Knight moved closer to her, trying to give her any warmth that he could.

As always, she opened her bedroom window and changed into her pajamas; blue with white stars, top and bottom. Then closed her door, falling onto the bed. She didn't have time to cover herself up before she fell asleep.

Marcus was drawn away from our home, we have travelled many nights, and we have travelled far. He was drawn here to this place. I found you easily enough, you are the only one of our kind within this city, your stench was easy enough to find. What I fail to see is why he would be drawn to such an unworthy whelp... it is quite curious indeed... I do not smell the blood of innocents upon you... only those condemned. Aparently you follow the laws well enough... It is quite curious indeed..."

Viktor as a person was indeed a fair and magnificent person, but his thirst, his darkest secret, even hidden from the eyes of the Great Father Marcus, was too much. No one could possibly have controlled it. Marcus is not cruel young one, he is a good man, much liek Viktor, the difference is control, the elders thirst is much stronger then you could possibly know, it either kills us or breaks us, Marcus himself had even experienced it for a short time and even I. What it takes to stop it is the worst choice imaginable, kill yourself or kill the your loved ones. Viktor killed his wife Elizabeth unwillingly, the blood of the innocents is too good to pass up once you have had even a single taste. You young ones would not uderstand, your thirst does little to compare, do not hate Marcus nor Viktor... Viktor knew eventually he would have to be slain or he would becoem Ravien's equal in the slaughter of innocents, and Marcus knew eventually he would have to stop his beloved son... Alexandria seemed to come out of a daze before she looked sharply at him, "That is the Secret of the Elders and the Great Slaughter, more then a thousands of our kind, all driven crazy by the thirst were illiminated in order to save the innocents... it is a sad truth that haunts us..."

Things were coming back to him, when Viktor had come home late those nights, smelling like blood.

Alexandria looked at Axel her eyes showing signs of sympathy, sympathy, she had not felt such a thing for many centuries. She was shocked by this, but in her own way, she remembered her own desires for the blood of innocents, and Marcus' own torments as he struggled feircely to resist, both father and daughter had nearly gone crazy as they struggled, both nearly falling to tempation, luckily they both had been saved. But it was her rememberance of how she felt when she discovered Marcus' struggles, an the falling of her two brothers that caused her to feel for the young vampire, true, in human appearance they were same of age, she herself was changed at the young age of nineteen just as Axel was. She looked away from him, hiding her eyes, "I am sorry for you Axel, I know your pain all too well..." She was not the same vampiress that had appeared before him a mere ten minutes before hand, in fact she almost seemed caring, her usual pride and self-rightiousness no longer dominating her.

"I'm sure you do," Axel said putting his hand on her shoulder.

Alexandria looked up shocked and cleared her throat, recovering and returning back to her regular self, "Well that was the past." She looked him over, examining him, "You killed a condemned one, he was going to rape that girl wasn't he?" Alexandria had watched Axel's quick kill, suprised by the young vampires precision and speed, she looked at him grinning, "It was quite the site, your execution of him was impressive..."


((lol when she says young she means by how long he has been a vampire, not by how old he was when he was turned, after all they are the same age in that sense, shes jsut got 300 some odd years on him as a vampire though lol... ))

(I have no idea of anything to put, besides a time skip..but I don't want to interrupt you guys, Durwen and Queen. I'll just wait until Alexandria leaves or something, then I'll do a time skip. Alright?)

"Yes he was," Axel said, "this world today has turned horrible. I don't know how people can change so quickly, so horribly."

[Durwen]

Alexandria shrugged her slender shoulders, "We cannot help what lies in human hearts, not even our own. Although we are more mirrored images of our human selves, we still have as equal of a chance to become condemned ourselves. The world is full of sinners..."

"Too many sinners to count," Axel said, "Marcus must be looking for you soon, so you might want to be getting back. Until we meet again."

[Durwen]

Alexandria nodded, "Yes, indeed." She went to leave but before she exited the building she turned and looked over her shoudler at him, "Hey Axel, I'll let Marcus know that you aren't one of Viktor's blasphemies..." She smiled meakly at him for a moment and then, as quick as light she was gone...

"Thank you," Axel said before turning towards his bed.
He flopped down on his bed and sighed.

376Alexandria entered apartment 134, it was dark and although she could not see Marcus in the blackness she could feel his presence, "Marcus..." She shut the door behind her and entered the living room and got down on her knees and bowed at the feet of her master.

"Alexandria, where have you been-" He stopped and approached her, he gently grabbed her chin and lifted it, smelling the air about her, "That smell..."

"Marcus, I believe I have found the reason you were unexplainedly drawn to this place. I have found a young man of our order, one that we had forgotten, it was Axel my father, Viktor's child," Alexandria replied looking up at Marcus' glowing eyes, her face hopeful that he would not scourn her for her lack of presence.

"Axel, I had forgotten of him, even when we cleansed the clans-" marcus began his voice thoughtful and yet dark as though he was already considerign the youths termination.

"Marcus- please listen," Alexandria said quickly, "There is no need to terminate his existance."

"Oh really?" Marcus' eyebrows raised his glowing eyes shining brighter with curiousity and a foreboding danger at his daughters objection, :Why is that do you fancy him for a pet Alexandria?"

Alexandria's eyes widened, "No Marcus, please, listen to my reason-"

"Very well then, explain to me why I should not kill this blasphemic whelp..."

"Marcus he is not like the rest of the blasphemies, Viktor taught him our laws, he respects them and only feeds off of the condemned. He is not one of them I swear it. You can observe yourself much like I have as of late. I even approached him-"

With a quick motion Viktor's palm had been pressed against her throat, his fingers wrapping around her neck, "You what!?"

Alexandria gasped for air but did not fight her father, she had expected thsi much. She knew what she had risked by approaching him. If he had been one of the blasphemies Axel would have without a doubt attacked her, knowing the threat that she imposed as well as the arrival of Marcus.

Marcus let go, Alexandria dropping to the floor, "Marcus forgive me, but even if he had been, he is not so strong that I could not have slain him myself... Marcus please, watch him first, he did not even know of Viktor's dark secrets." Marcus looked at her furiously, "You spoke of the betrayel of our kind to him! Get to bed, and do not let me see you till the morn' you shall not be leavign this apartment until I say. DO you udnerstand me!?"

Alexandria nodded quickly, "Yes Marcus-" She quickly ran off to the room she had set up for herself. She knew that she had done wrong, and Viktor's reaction was far too lenient. This had been grounds for her execution, to risk secrets of the clans that had fought so hard to re-purify their kind, to approach a potential blashpemy that could have killed her in cold blood and to make Marcus' as well as her own presence known. These were dangerous things and it was by mere luck that Axel had not been on blashemic ways...

Marcus went off to his own room, he stripped himsef of his clothing and went to his bed, layign amongst the warm covers that Alexandria had prepared for him. He was angry, and yet he himself that night had stepped outside the normal formalities of their kind. He had approached an innocent and spent time in her presence, if he had not, Alexandria would have been in worst trouble. He could never give punishment of death, Marcus was too loving of his children, it took severe acts and the breaking of their laws to cause him to give out such punishment. It was indeed a good thing that Ravien and Viktor were no more...
