Naruto sat at the ramen shop, finishing his bowl. His sister, Aya, was sitting beside him, wiating for him to inish.

Kairi was out training while Shino was training but alone. Kairi pulled out a few kunai's "Hm..."

"Thanks old man," Naruto said before standing up and putting his ANBU mask on.
"What's the mission today?" Aya asked.
"We're meeting Shino and Kairi," Naruto said, "Shino know's the mission."

Kairi scratched her cheek, "Hm..."

Shino sighed, "They're late..."

Naruto came to where Shino was.
"I had to finish eating, sorry." He said.
Aya rolled her eyes at her brother.

Shino sighed, "Annoying." he said. "Kairi's down by the stables not to far so someone should go get her so i can annouce the mission..."

"I'll get her!" Naruto said running off.

"What is he excited about?" he asked Aya then sighed.
Kairi stretched and picked her things up.

"He kinda likes her," Aya said.

"Kairi-chan!" Naruto called out.

"I see." shino said. "Well alright..."

Kairi looked up, "Oh! Naruto-kun." she smiled

Aya smiled and waited for Naurto to come back with Kairi.

"Shino-kun and Aya are waiting for us," naruto said.

"Oh! Alright. Let's go then."

Shino sat dwon on a rock.

Naruto smiled as he walked towards Shino and Aya.

"They're coming," Aya said.

Kairi followed close behind.

"No kidding," Aya said rolling her eyes.

"So what's the mission?" she asked Shino.

"We are to head out of Konaha to find out Orochimaru's next attack." he said.
Kairi nodded, "I see..."

Kairi nodded, "Lets go!" she said leading the way.

Shino nodded and pulled his ANBU mask on and followed behind her.

Aya ran after them, smiling and humming again.

Naruto Shifted his mask again and took off.

Shino glanced around. "Kairi.." he said. "Hai!" she said, she did hand signs, "Meka Eyes." she said her kekkai genkai activating. She looked around for any traps and any other ninja's.

"See anything?" Naruto asked.

She shook her head, "No, and thats good." she said. Shino fell back behind Aya, "I'll be hear to watch the back side." he said to the group.

"I got Kairi's back," he said.

Kairi smiled at Naruto. Shino nodded, "As we get closer, they'll surely be Ninja's. So keep your eyes open qidely. Got it?!"

Shino stoped, "hear that...?" he whispered.
Kairi stoped and glanced around. "Hai...i see seven of them..."

Aya stopped and smelled the air.
Naruto stood, as quiet as he could be.

Someone laughed. "Ah..uhm.." kairi said alramed.
Shino did hand signs, his bugs secrectly crawling out.

The seven sound ninja's approached. "well looks like we found two cute kittens. Eh guys?" one guy said, motioning a few guys, in hiding, towords Aya and Kairi.
Shino narrowed his eyes, "I dont think so..." he moved his bugs towords who seemed like the leader.

"Don't touch them," Naruto and the clones growled.

One of the men took ahold of Aya. Another took ahold of Kairi. Both having kunai's put to their neck, and also, their weapons taken out of their hands, and pined their hands behind their back. Kairi gasped, surpised that her Meka Eyes(kekkai genkai) didn't see them. Even if they are invisiable from chakra she should beable to see tehm unless...

Shino growled, "So the real people where in hiding..."

Naruto sighed and made the clones go away.

"good, now just come with us." he said, while the other ninja's pushed the girls along. The other 5 ninjas gaurded naruto and Shino so they wouldn't plan on attcking.

Aya grunted as the guy pushed her.
"Watch it," Naruto hissed.

Shino growled. "Hey! dont hurt Aya." he growled more.

Naruto's eyes got wide under his mask, remembering Sasuke and Orochimaru.

"State your names. We need your names for trespassing in orochimaru's private place. state your names so we can report you." he said. "I'm...Kiri." kairi lied.
"Shuya.." he mumbled.

"Nato," Naruto said.

"Hm, alright..." the ninja's eyed them then continued on.

Aya gulped as they walked.
Naruto closed his eyes and thought for a momment before opening them again.

Kairi sighed now. The ninja's pushed them into the head quatars.

Shino glanced over at Aya, "hm, be carful." They tied Kairi and Naruto back to back, then Aya and shino. "Ill be back, but you have people watching you!" he laughed.

"What's wrong sis?" Naruto asked.

Shino began to untie Aya's.

"Stay still, ill call my bugs on the other guys. Because if we attack they could hit a button and call in others.." he said. "Do it secrectly." he said making his bugs move forword in the dark so no one could see them.
Kairi nodded, though held onto Naruto's wrist uncousiously.

Naruto blushed when he realized that Kairi was holding his wrist.

When the gaurds fell to the floor, Shino stood up and held a hand out to Aya to help her up.
Kairi sighed in relief, "oh, sorry." She said letting go of Naruto's wrists. She was just nervous.

Kairi kicked a snake away before it could strike.

"If you don't..." Orochimaru smirked as snakes then climbed up all of their legs. "You'll die by snake bite. How sad." Kairi gasped and squeezed his hand tightly, making sure not to move. Shino growled, "Damn you orochimaru."

Aya bit her lip, to keep herself from screaming.

Naruto squeezed onto Kairi's hand also.
"What do you want to know," he said in a low growl.

"Give me the weak points of Konaha and we set you free." he said. "that is, after Sasuke kills NAruto . that is his intsion." he said.
Shino took Aya's hand so she could squeeze it out of scaredness.

Naruto opened his mouth under his mask.

Aya gripped Shino's hand tightly, but not tight enough to break it.

Kairi looked up at NAruto, "Na-naruto-kun how did he fin-" "you think i can't feel that demons chakra? I can, its easy too." Orochimaru hissed.
Shino didn't mind she knew she was breakable when she's scared.

Naruto growled. He wanted to grab his face and just rip it off.

Aya dropped Shino's hand and looked at Orochimaru.
"Don't touch him," she said.

"Don't back talk missy. The snake can bite you within a second." he smirked.

"Nar-naruto-kun it's okay." she said. If Aya said that, she had a good reason too. Naruto and his short temper, he could change into Kyuubi any second...

Shino stared down at her. "Hm, i have no intrest in killing you." Sasuke said. "I'm going to kill naruto, because, i want to be stronger."he said.

"Don'y lay a finger on my sister," Naruto said.

"Ha, don't count on it." Sasuke said. Orochimaru smirked. "thats my sasuke-kun." he laughed, "kukuku. Now, tell use the weak spots of konaha now or die together."

Naruto glanced over at Shino and Aya. She was trying to be a brave as she could while she was surrounded by snakes, the thing she hated the most.

Shino growled, "the weak parts are, the front gate....the back gate, the hokage heads, and the training feilds." he said. No, those weren't correct. Only one was.
"Sh-Shino!" Kairi shouted.
"I don't want to die." he snaped.
Kairi looked down.
"Plus it's for her sake." he said taking Aya's hand again.

Aya took Shino's ahnd and looked at her brother and Kairi.
"Now what?" Naruto asked Orochimaru.

He called the snakes off. Alll but on Naruto. "Sasuke, Finish him off so you can become stronger." Orochimaru laughed. Kairi stood up and held her arms out infront of him. "No way! I won't let you!" "Then ill slash right threw you." sasuke said.
Shino helped Aya up and growled, "Damn."

"What are we going to do?" Aya asked Shino. "I won't let him touch my brother."

Sasuke steped forword taking out his sword. "Move girl." "No." she said.
Shino smirked, "Already done." he said as the bugs climbed up Sasuke's leg.

Aya let go of his hand and ran over to Naruto and Kairi.
"Leave," naruto told them, "this is my fight."

Kairi stepd back, before nodded , she walked on and stoped by Sasuke. "You kill him, then you'll be next." she said, to where only he could hear. "ha, I'd like to see you try." Kairi glared at him then motioned for Shino and Aya to follow her out.

Kairi looked out into the empty hallway. She nodded , closed the door and ran behind Shino.

"Still trying to kill me?" he asked.

Naruto quickly dodged.

"What are we going to tell Tsunade?" Aya asked.

Sasuke glanced back at Naruto before bringing his sword down on him.

Aya nodded her head. She knew it was wrong to go back for a comrad who wanted to stay back, but it was eating her up inside.

Naruto felt the sword.

Sasuke smirked and pushed the sword deeper into his side.

Kairi shook her head, "Naruto..Naruto will be fine."

Naruto bit his lip to keep himself from yelling.

"I hope so," Aya said softly.

"you are weak." he said. "I could cut you in half, but what fun would it be if i couldn't torture you first?" he asked pushing the sword farther in.

Kairi sighed. "Hey go ahead! I'm going to set up traps to prevent Orochimaru from coming."

He did some hand signs and dissapeared.

Shino nodde,d "Lets go! Quickly." He said.

Kairi nodded and pulled out some wire. She wraped it around some trees. She looked up, "Meka Eyes." she said. She looked ahead, seeing a few figures ahead, "orochimaru!"

Sasuke growled, "Dmanit.."

Aya gulped when she heared Orochimaru's name.

Naruto appeared on the groun. He braced himself against a tree while holding his side.

Shino sighed, "Common Aya, we have to go report to Tsuande, KAiri is able to take care of the traps." he said.

Kairi galnced around, she saw naruto's chakra form not to far ahead. So she quickly continued to to set the traps up.

Naruto grunted as he fell to the ground.

Kairi quickly jumped down to the ground after setting the traps up, and ran towords NAruto, "Naruto!" she said quickly falling down to his side.

Shino nodded, and made sure to be behind her so that she wouldn't get hurt.

Naruto looked at Kairi and smiled.

Aya looked ahead, seeing the village.

Shino nodded, "prefect."

"Ar...are you okay?" she asked, taking his hand off his wound. "It's deep." she said. She grabed some bandages, and looked up seeing Orochimaru and his gang just jump by. She pulled off his chest protecter, then his tank top and along with his mask and bandaged his wound.

Aya nodded and fell back so she was beside Shino.

"I'll be fine," Naruto said, "but it hurts a lot."

"lets hurry." he picked up the pase.

Kairi nodded and then did some hand signs before hovering her hand over his wound to heal it a little.

Aya nodded and went faster.

Naruto closed his eyes as Kairi placed her hands over his wound.

Shino stoped at the gate. He told the gate gaurds that Orochimaru was coming and to hurry up and close the gates.

Kairi sighed softly, and took her hands off when she healed his wound, "Are you okay?" she asked, taking his hand, and putting another hand behind his back to help him up.

"I'll go tell Tsunade-sama," Aya said running off.

"I'll be fine," Naruto said, "thanks for helping me."

Kairi nodded. She then helped him stand. "Common we have to fo now.

Aya ran to Tsunade's office.

Naruto nodded.

The gate closed just in time.

Kairi wraped his arms over her shoulder and helped him walk. "Lean on me, okay? I don't want you to go and reopen your wound.

Aya knocked on Tsunade's door.

Naruto nodded his head again and leaned against Kairi.

Kairi nodded and slowly made their way to the village.

Aya quickly opened the door.
"Orochimaru is planning to attack the village!" She said quickly.

Naruto limped as they walked.

Tsunade slmaed her hands on the desk, stood up, "Shizune! Call suna's reinfocements! Get more ninja's to gaurd the gate, get ready for the blow!" she shouted. "Hai!" Shizune said and quickly left. Tsunade growled, "So finally decides to attack, Well i've been waiting.."

Kairi rest a hand on Naruto's chest to help him walk better.

"Shino-kun is helping them close the gate," Aya said.

Tsunade nodded, "good." she said.

Naruto smiled as they continued to walk.

Aya nodded and ran out the door.

"A transporting Jutsu," Naruto said, "you can only use it when you're in a life of death situation. Aya taught me that when we first met."

Shino glanced around, ordering that.

Kairi rubed an eye. "you have everyone worried!" she said.

Shino nodded, a bang came from the gate. Shino growled. "Get ready!" he shouted to her and the other ninja's.

There was another loud bang.
Shino twitched in frustation.

Kairi crept into and out of the forest, watching his and her own steps.

Ayua gulped. If she survived this she was going to take Naruto to see their mother again.

Naruto kept quiet, even when he stepped on a rock.

Shino steped back when he saw a huge snake head appear over Konaha gates.

Suddenly, two other ninja's took ahold of Kairi and Naurot.

Aya gulped and stepped back.

Naruto turned around to see how the two ninja were.

They where Sasuke's comrads. Karin had Kairi, and held a kunai to her neck, while the other guy was Suigetsu had Naruto, while Juugo stood in watch. Sasuke steped out. "I'm not finished." he growled. "Don't plan on running away. Karin can kill Kairi in any second."

The snake then crawled over the gate, with orochimaru and his team behind. "Hm...kkukuku..."
Shino stood infront of Aya to protect her, while the other ninja's made huge summonings to take down the snake.

"Let Kairi go," Naruto said, "she didn't do anything to you."

Aya stood frozen, looking into the snakes eyes.

The snake hissed at her. "Hm, Likes like he's taken a liking to you, Misssss Aya.." he hissed.
Shino growled, "Shut up!"

"No." Sasuke said. "But she did something to you. Or else, you wouldn't care so much about her. Isn't that right?" he asked. "Don't you, like her? HM..."

Aya took a step back.

Naruto glanced at Kairi. He knew if he said he liked him she'd be hurt by Karin, but if he said he didn't like her, it would her heart..

Orochimaru jumped off the snake. "You can make her yur desert, Oni[the snake's name]." He laughed then ran off. The snake began making its way towords AYa.

"Well.." Sasuke growled, "Which is it?!"

Aya tried to ran away, but was frozen in place because of fear.

Naruto turned to Kairi. I don't mean to hurt your heart, he thought, but it's the only way I can make sure you get away safely.

Shino pushed Aya." Move!" he said quickly. When she wouldn't budge, he picked her up, then quickly ran off so the other summonings could attack.

Kairi had ahold of KArin's arm, as if to pull Karin off.
"SPill it, or She dies. Naruto." He growled. "Because if she is of no use, I'll have to bring sakura out." he said smirking. "All to make you stay, eh.."

Aya closed her eyes tightly as Shino picked her up and ran.

"I don't like her," Naruto said, "she's of no use to me, know let her go."

Load explosions where heard.
Shino stared down at her, he pulled her close.

Kairi's eyes widened. Karin smirked and pushed her away. Kairi clenched her shirt near her heart, and ran off.

Sasuke pointed the sword to Naruto. "What is your weakness then? I cannot destroy you completely, and make your bring Kyuubi out if i cannot destroy the thing most precious to you."

"I'm sorry," Aya said, "I'm just not brave."

"Why would I tell you?" Naruto asked.

Shino shook his head, "Every one...has a fear, and can't face it." he said.

Kairi whiped her eyes as she headed in the secert entrance of Konaha.

"Because if you don't. I'll have fun tortureing you with your Mangekyou Shirigan." he said.

"But you're just going to harm her," Naruto said, "you're going to kill her then kill me."

"Hm...dont count on it. " sasuke said, before stabing NAruto in the heart, or near it, he couldn't tell.

Kairi crawled back out of the hidden entrance and glanced around.


Shino stoped and looked behind him.

Aya burried her head into Shino, seeing the giant snake again.

Naruto sreamed in pain before falling over.

"Damnit!" Shino jumped out of the way of the snake and quickly hide Aya and himself with his chakra.

Kairi's eyes widened when she saw Sasuke do so. Sasuke smirked then walked on off. His comrads following. When Kairi was sure they where gone She ran to Naruto side. "Naruto!" she shouted, shaking him. "Wake up! Hey! Wake up!"

Aya closed her eyes tightly.

Naruto looked at Kairi. His vision was blurred, but he knew who it was.
"What are you doing here?" he asked.

Shino leaned back against a tree and looked out. The snake was trying to pin point their location.

Kairi quickly huged him. "Your so stoped." she said. She wasn't sure why she came back when he said she was of no use. But she was still worried.

Aya shivered. She hated snakes and a giant one was after her.

"You're not of no use to me," Naruto said, "I just didn't want to see him hurt you. I don't like seeing you hurt."

Shino pulled her closer, "Shh.." he said quietly.He looked off over to the biger snake and quietly began making his way off.

Kairi shook her head, she put a hand on his wound near his heart, while Sasuke thought it was his heart. "I'm so weak." she said, "And im always in the way, Im sorry" she said though huged him again.

Aya nodded her head and kept her mouth shut.

"You're not always in the way," Naruto said.

Shino made sure to be careful to not make a sound.

Kairi rubed her eyesto keep from crying. She shook her head, "But,...but i thought you really did mean it!" she said. "I thought you really did hate me. So now i figure im just in the way."

"Well I had to make it sound like it was real," Naruto said, "if I didn't he would have killed you. I didn't want him to kill you. You're part of my life, something I don't want taken away from me."

"Aya, I'm going to put you down, but you have to be completley quiet. I'm going to try to take down the snake." he said.

Kairi hide her face in the nip of his neck, "I'm glad."

"You have to go back to the village," he said, "Sasuke's going to try and get Aya."

"I told him not to touch her," Naruto said, "he's going to kill her to get me to bring Kyuubi out."

Kairi shook her head. "No. Because he figured he already killed you with that blow." she said.

Shino walked towords the snake. He pulled out a kunai.

"But he'll still try and kill her," Naruto said, "he thinks he's killed me, but if he thinks I'm still alive, he'll go after her."

Aya closed her eyes and sighed.

"Hai." she said. She gave him some bandages. "Bandage your wounds. I can't help you, i dont have a lot of Chakra left." she said. She gave him a small kiss on the cheek before quickly running to the secrect entrance.

Naruto took the bandages and wrapped them around his chest. He stood up slowly and made his way in the direction to where Kairi had been going.

Kairi was already inside and made sure to avoid Orochimaru's comrads.

"Aya-chan!" Kairi gasped out of breath once she reached her. "We have to hurry and get out of here!" she said.

Kairi took Aya's wrist, "Sasuke-san is coming! He's proably going to kill you as long as he thinks Naruto is dead though, he won't. But i have to hide you, because he'll soon find out he's not dead! He wants to kill you infront of NAruto to torture him and make him bring Kyuubi out. So sAsuke-san can become stronger!" she said.

"C-Common!" Kairi said, "We have to hurry and leave!" she said.

Aya followed quickly behind her. She hoped Shino understood why she wouldn't be there.

Naruto entered the village and walked to the Hokage tower, hoping Tsunade would still be there.
