((oh yeah... okay then! ^-^))
Emmeline sighed as the teacher droned on about trig. She didn't give two sh!ts about it, and knew it wouldn't help her in the future, so she just didn't pay attention. She just wanted to draw.
Her drawing was of a girl surounded by bodies, dead by her own hand. Emmeline had a pretty good life up until both of her parents died for an unknown reason. She then had to go live with her insane grandma who treated her like dirt and didn't give her any attention. And, at the new school, nobody treated her with respect. She was always called "emo" or "freak". The latter was the most popular.
Emmeline sketched the rest of the girl's bloodied blade, adding the final drop of blood. She smirked devilishly as the sight of the dark red substanced and went on to sketch the bodies, still not caring about trig.

Emmeline felt eyes on her and wondered who could be looking so intently on her. She figured that it was just someone making fun of her, but this gaze was not like that. It was more of a wondering look, as if the person was trying to figure her out...
She glanced behind her and saw a girl. She looked as bored as she was, looking straight at Emmeline. She raised a slim eyebrow at the girl, wondering silently what she was doing.

Emmeline scowled at the girl. She wanted to know why that girl was looking so intently at her.
As if the teacher understood her needs, class was dimissed. Emmeline closed her notebook. After gathering her things, she glided over to the girl.
"Who are you and why were you staring at me?" she asked. Emmeline wasn't one to go with the causluaties of 'Hi! How are you?'
She stared down at the girl with ice blue eyes as she waited for an answer.

Emmeline looked at Alice's back as she strolled away. Emmeline noted the gracefullness of her movements. She then sighed and picked up her stuff again, gettiing ready to go to science.
When she got into the science room, she saw Alice there again. Surprised, she made her way to the back of the room and sat down next to Alice.
"What a coincidence!" she said, and smiled slightly. "You wanted to see whta I was drawing, right?"

Emmeline smiled again, braoder this time. As she was getting out her book, she hoped Alice wouldn't be frightened of her drawing. It was pretty gruesome, after all.
She opened to the page and slid it towards Alice.
"Here," she said.

She then got out her drawing and began to work some more on the mangled bodies. Her face softened and her eyes were intense, as she always was like this when she drew.

The bell rang just as Emmeline was about to ask if Alice was sniffing her. She sighed as she didn't want to ask that question and closed her notebook. She then realized something.

Emmeline wondered what that skip was about, but shook it off. She just went to her locker and got out her black back-pack with tons of buttons on it. After getting her stuff in it, she went outside to wait for Alice.
While she was waiting, a group of boys came up to her.
"Hey," said one, "you're the freak right?"
He grinned broadly, thinking this was hilarious.
Another said, "Yeah, it's Little Miss Freak! Hey freak, can i see what's in your backpack?"
Without an answer from Emmeline, they snatched her backpack off of her back. They began rummaging through until they found her drawing book. They turned to her latest one and began laughing.
"Is this a picture of what you do in your free time?" asked the first one.
Emmeline just looked at them, speechless. How dare they look in her book? but, she was too much of a coward to tell them to stop. They saw this and put the book down. they then circled her, knowing that the space they were in was clear.
"How about we play a game? It's called 'punching bag'. We decide who gets to be the punching bag and that would be-" the last boy punched her in the stomach, causing her to gag- "you!"
Emmeline was helpless. She was a lousy fighter so she couldn't fight back. She just let them have their "fun" while silent tears streamed down her face. Blood trickled down the side of her mouth as she hoped Alice wouldn't see her in this state.

Alice heard some kids talking about a freak and stopped instantly. She suddenly felt the urge to protect her new friend. She whipped around, and saw a bunch of guys crowding around Emmeline. She threw her stuff on the ground, sprinted in their general direction, and shoved two of them to the ground, punching another in the groin at the same time. Her eyes burned with a mix of rage and a feeling of protection, wanting to kill those b'astards for hurting her friend...her friend that smelled so wonderful and...NO. She shook her head, clearing her thoughts.

Emmeline looked up at her savior and saw it was Alice. She got up quickly, wiping the tears from her eyes and tasting the iron blood in her mouth. No way would Emmeline let Alice see her in the condition she was in. She didn't want her to see how weak she was.

Emmeline was already gone. New tears were coming, showing how she was weak. After seeing Alice's performance, she felt even weaker.
Clutching her drawing book and her back-pack slung over her back, she walked away.

Alice opened her mouth in protest, but she couldn't utter a word. She stuttered, trying to get out Emmeline's name, but to no avail. She wasn't sure why, but she was speechless. She didn't really expect Emmeline to walk out like that.

Emmeline noticed Alice not coming after her, and she was happy for that. Nobody would ever see her cry.
She found her favorite spot in the woods after a while. It was a big hollow tree that hardly anyone ever came to. She had made a little home in nature, and the tree welcomed her whenever she came. She sat down in the moss chair she had made and the tears flowed. The tree seemed to comfort her.

Emmeline's long black hair followed her as she swung higher and higher. When she felt she was high enough, she jumped off. The feeling of seeming like you are flying was amazing for Emmeline.
When she landed, she took care not to hurt her feet or legs. She then stood up, put her arms in the air, and screamed, "WHOO!!"
Then she ran back to her swing to do it again.
