It's summertime for everyone, and everyone is looking for a place to unwind and relax! Soul Society figures that what better way to do just that, but go on vacation! It's quiet, and hollows haven't been so active lately. Not even the arrancar has struck - yet!

An invitation to a small island in the middle of the ocean is open, and all of the divisions decide to take it! What could go wrong anyways?

As they go to the particular island, it's secluded just as they had hoped! But an eerie sense haunts that island...should they turn back? There's only jagged rocks, dangerous reefs, huge surfs, and a haunted hut.

Why should they turn back now...?

Personality: She's carefree, and tomboy-ish. She speaks in a slang sort of way and loves to play sports and be in the water. She thinks positive and always likes to play around. She also tends to be sarcastic and lazy as well. But most of the time she's active, active, active!
Background: She was always put down because she was always told that she was weak and such. Her former rank was 6th seat because she was too lazy and unmotivated but as soon as Gin had chose his path, something triggered in her mind and she found a strength that she thought would never exist. She worked hard and demanded that she act as her division's captain. It was a wonder as to why the sudden motivation...but perhaps it'll be told soon.

Background: Shai is very weak, but she never gives up. She always tries her hardest. Her captain always tells her that she doesnt deserve to be a soul reaper. But she always tries to earn his respect, so she is always out training and is usually found passed out in the forest. Shai is motherly, and protective over Renji and Byakuya. She usually gets introuble for getting in the way. But she doesn't mind, she just wants to help.

Walking through the portal that divided the Soul Society to the real world, Kin followed the other divisions and stared in awe as she watched their location. A marvelous beach with green lucious mountains. "Wow!" She exclaimed in amazement, before twirling herself around - her captain's uniform flying with her. "This place is not too shabby!" She added with a laugh before looking out to the water.

Byakuya resisted a sigh before following the other divisions through. He glanced back behind him and watched as his division followed him as well. Lieutenant Abarai, following him shortly behind. "I'm surprised you're actually going along Kuchiki-taicho." Renji had said quietly. Byakuya only replied with a simple close of his eyes. "I'm only coming, to aid the other captains so that their would be a justful order among the divisions." He explained cooly and glanced back to his squad, looking out for a particular 7th seat.

Shai was behind the whole squad, she was somehow pushed all the way back there. Being scrawny and the only girl in the squad it's probably something you would expect. She got onto her tippy-toes and tried looking at the beach but her view was blocked by the large squad 6 members. Shai let out a soft sigh, and just waited patiently.

(Um, you can write something like he has a mission to tamper with the vacation plans...? Me don't know >.<)

Twirling around and dancing on the sand, Kin laughed merrily as she felt freely. "Um, Captain? What should we do now...?" Asked her lieutenant, Kira Izuru. "Simple! Unwind! Be free! Have fun! Duh!" She laughed as she spoke in a slight matter-of-factly tone. She sped off ahead, to take a better look around the island. "This place is so cool!" She spoke to herself as she distanced herself from the others.

Byakuya grimaced slightly as his feet sunk into the sand and sighed. He moved away from the portal and awaited for his division to fully enter through. He glanced around at the island and looked to the mountainous range. His gaze soon turned towards the water and he narrowed his eyes at the rocky pillars. "A dangerous hazard..." He muttered quietly to himself before turning his eyes towards his squad.

Shai was still stuck behind the rest of the squad members. Still unable to see the beach, when finally the squad was all spread apart, but still close by Byakuya. Shai looked around for a second and smiled brightly, "Wow..What a..Somewhat nice beach," she muttered to herself. She then looked over and spotted Byakuya, she grinned and walked over to him. "Heya taichou." Shai greeted politley.

Kin had finally reached a small cove of crystal clear water and blinked in incredible awe. "Woooow..." She gasped before looking around carefully. She grinned seeing that no one was around and took off her captain's uniform to reveal her in shorts and a bathing suit top. She took off her sandals and dipped her feet into the water. A shudder of coldness ran through her as she quietly laughed to herself. "So beautiful!" She whispered to herself and continued to grin to herself.

Looking back to see Shai, he gave a short nod at her greeting. "Hello, 7th seat Shai Hana." He spoke in his usual former and orderly manner. "Where were you among the squad?" He asked, with a raise of his eyebrows. It could've been possible that he wasn't able to see her among the others, but he simply wanted to be assured.

Sitting at his rightful throne, Aizen rested his head against his hand as he stared down at his followers. "Gin, I believe it's best that you take a little...break and 'relax'..." He said with a smile as yet another plan had ran through his mind.

Shai rubbed the back of her neck nervously and sighed. "I was pushed away and into the back." she answered quietly as she twiddled her thumbs nervously. She could never be firm around her captain, she was always stuttering and blushing.

Gin's usual smile had widened a bit, "What are you trying to say, Aizen?" he asked. "What are you planning? I know you aren't that nice to let me have a nice relaxing break." he exclaimed sarcastically. It was always fun to joke around with Aizen.

Kin smiled to herself as she got her feet out of the water and decided to look around again. Her feet sunk as they stepped onto the sand and she laughed quietly to herself. Letting her eyes wander around, a large log caught her eyes. "Ooo!" She quickly hurried over to the piece of wood and examined it carefully. "Nice and sturdy...perfect!" She exclaimed to herself before pulling out her zanpaku-to and with swiftness, she cut to log in half with her blade. She smiled as looked at the half of the wood she had cut and placed it against the sand. Using her blade, she began to cut the sides carefully and slowly and shaped it.

Byakuya listened carefully to her over the loud laughter of the other divisions. "I see...don't let it happen to you again. I don't want my 7th seat to be weaker than the other seated members after you." He said calmly and looked down at her sternly. He watched as she twiddled her thumbs and simply sighed with a shake of his head. "Very well. I want my division to scout the area along with the other squads. We need to be sure that this place is safe." He ordered.

Aizen simply smiled at him as he spoke. "Ah, but of course. I have information that the Gotei 13 are on vacation themselves. I want you to stall them on that island as long as you can. I'll send for others to enter Soul Society and my plan will take it's course. Soul Society is at it's weakest point as of now without it's Gotei." He explained with amusement in his voice as he spoke of how weak Soul Society was as of now.

Shai saddened, but nodded and gave Byakuya a salute. "I'll do my best Taichou!" she exclaimed. She then headed towards the other squad 6 members, on the way - being her clumsy self, she tripped right over a medium sized rock and fell face first into the hot sand. She muffled an 'Ouch' as the other squad members pointed and laughed at her. That only lowers her self-esteem and makes her become weaker. She truly, felt hated. She never even had a friend, not when she was living nor when she was dead. (Aw.. T_T)

"Oh I see," Gin smiled. "Why don't you come with me, Sir? I don't want to be all alone." Gin exclaimed, acting as if he was afraid to go all by his self, he wasn't. As always, he was joking.

Shaping the wood to make it thin and smooth, Kin grinned at her piece of work. Making a surfboard was what she was doing and she was doing the best she could. Seeing that the only supply she had was her Zanpaku-to. She felt sort've sorry for her blade, since it was being used to cut against wood. "Don't worry Kurayami, my dear! Almost done!" She told her sword with a grin and laughed quietly to herself.

Byakuya blinked as the sudden laughter filled his ears, and he turned his head to face his members. He noted Shai on the sand, and immediately shot a glare at his squad. "We do not demean each other with childish acts. Understood?" He snapped sharply at them. They immediately quieted down and went their seperate ways, to scout the island. "Lieutenant Abarai. Go check on her will you?" He ordered the red-haired man. Giving a thoughtful look, Renji was about to ask a relative question, but decided not to question his superior.

Aizen shook his head lightly, and looked at Gin. "It's a self mission, and I'd rather have someone that I 'trust' do it for me." He noted, doing his best not to exaggerate on the word 'trust'. Among the other followers, who could he have trusted? No one, but himself. "Now, now. Run along. I'd rather not have my plans being waited on." He said with a motion of his hand.

Shai slowly stood up and wiped the sand off of her. She spit out some sand, and wiped her watery eyes. She hated being so weak, and always being embarrassed. She bit her lip and quickly jogged off to scout the island, at this point she just wanted to be alone. It would be better off if she was gone, no one would care would they?

"Alright then." Gin grinned. "See you later," he stated, before he vanished into thin air.

Finishing her board, Kin wiped a bead of sweat from her forehead and breathed a sigh. Finally she had finished! Placing her blade in it's sheath she grinned at her success. Holding up her board, she examined it carefully with her eyes and laughed quietly. "Beautiful!" She exclaimed before digging it into the sand and making her way back to the cove to clean her hands.

Byakuya had walked his own way, but heard as his lieutenant cleared his throat. "Is there something you need, Lieutenant?" He asked sternly and glanced back at him. "Sorry to disturb you sir...but it seems that Shai ran off." He explained and gazed into the direction of where Shai had ran off to. "She did...?" Byakuya asked with a raise of his eyebrows and watched as lieutenant nodded. Sighing, Byakuya nodded and also looked into the direction where she went. "Maybe it be best to leave her be...I'll talk to her soon." He muttered quietly before, slowly walking away.

Shai continued to jog, not knowing where she was going. But at the same time she looked around, seeing if everything was safe. So far, so good except the water looked a bit dangerous.

Finishing cleaning her hands, Kin blinked as she heard jogging. Though it was quiet against the sand, her hearing was still good. Her reiatsu identification...not so good. "Yo! Who's there?" She called out while holding her board and wondering who was approaching.

Byakuya came to a stop at where he walked, and sighed. Was it best to leave her? She was after all his own squad member. And as a captain, it was his duty to see if she would be alright. Sighing, and shaking his head he simply stood there aloof, and stared out into the sea. How problematic it was.

Shai quickly looked up, alarmed. She looked over at saw Kin. "Um..Kin-taichou?" Shai asked, as she blinked. "Is that you?" she asked.

Hearing a familiar soft voice, Kin immediately grinned, absolutely brightened at the unexpected company. "That's the name, and rank! Don't wear it out!" She laughed quietly as she greeted Shai. "I never expected that I'd see you out here, Shai! Something happen?" She asked with a tilt of her head, before trying to brush wood shavings off of her board.

Shai frowned a bit and rubbed the back of her neck nervously. "Yeah, something happened alright. I just don't want to talk about it," she said quietly. She closed her eyes and blinked back the tears. "My whole squad hates me." she exclaimed as she fell onto her knees and stared down into the hot sand.

Kin watched slightly saddened as Shai fell to her knees. Her shoulders dropped as she tilted her head to look at her. Looking from her surfboard to the waters, she suddenly sprouted an idea. Dropping her board to the sand, she walked over towards Shai and knelt down in front of her. "Hey, Shai?" She asked still with a tilt of her head. "Do you wanna catch some waves? The waters fine over here...and...well, it'll be fun!" She said cheerfully. She wanted Shai to avoid her problems, and think more positive, like she did. "Besides...you're squad don't hate you! Heck, no one can!" She exclaimed with a grin, and her usual slang tone.

Shai looked up with a slight smile, "Thanks," she said as she stood up, not bothering to wipe the sand off her. "I guess I could, but I've never surfed before. Maybe, I'll just swim." she exclaimed with a smile. She admired Kin for her personality, she was fun, outgoing and kind.

Kin grinned happily and nodded. "That's the spirit!" She said cheerfully with a clap of her hands. But as her words soon fully registered in her mind she blinked and gaped at Shai. "You can't surf!?" She exclaimed in disbelief but soon grinned widely than she had before. "No problem! I can teach you! That'd be even more fun!" She explained and stood up soon after.

"O-okay," Shai smiled. "Im really supposed to be scouting the area, but I dont see Byakuya around so.." she felt bad for disobeying orders. But it was vacation wasn't it? "Lemme just get into my bathing suit.." she muttered as she untied the white robe around her shuhakusho. She pulled off the sleeves and once the shuhakusho was fully off, she was in a white bikini with dark red outlines. She loved this bathing suite alot, not to mention it was very comfortable.

Kin laughed quietly at Shai's muttering. "Eh, Byaku-chan's just waaaay to into authority and all that junk." She teased and laughed quietly. She knew that since she was a captain as of now, she too had to be more responsible and such, but she figured that she was...but in her own way. She also never really did enjoy labeling others by their rank, which made her way too laidback. Her current way began to remind her of a certain former captain...but she immediately shook the thought out of her mind. Not wanting to remember that name for now. "Alright! First off, you'd need a surfboard." She declared finally seeing that Shai was ready in her bathing suit. Walking towards the board that she had made, she returned to Shai shortly, and dug the board in the sand. "You can use this one! Now, surfing is a great sport of balance, patience, and timing." She exclaimed shortly, before placing the board flat down on the sand. "First, we'll start on the sand. Can't rush and go straight to the waves, now." She said with a grin before going on her stomach in the sand. "Go like this on your board, and pretend that you're paddling yourself, like when you're swimming, ok?"

Shai blinked, and her face turned a bit blue. "Do I..Really have to do that?" she asked quietly. She was embarrassed, first off, being in a bikini and second, learning to surf. She was already as stupid as it is.

Kin laughed quietly at her expression and nodded her head. "Of course! Heck, you'll be on a board! I'm in the sand right now!" She laughed happily before nodding her head towards the board. "Well? Gonna join me or what?" She asked with a grin and chuckled quietly.

"Yes! Of course, Kin-taichou," Shai exclaimed as she got down onto the board. She looked over at Kin and blinked, "Now what am I supposed to do?" she asked. She knew she would never be able to surf.

Kin simply laughed as she was told of her rank. "Well, first things first, stop with the taichou thing! Just call me Kin, alright?" She asked with a small grin. "Second of all, you're suppose to motion your arms like when you swim. You know, the arm in, arm out thing. Imagine that you're in the water and close your eyes..." She said closing her own eyes in particular.

"Y-yes Taic- I mean Kin!" Shai quickly corrected herself. She blushed in embarrassment and closed her eyes. She laid back down on the surfboard and closed her eyes. She then began to move her arms as if she was swimming.

Kin shook her head slightly as she nearly caught herself but laughed quietly. "Good. keep stroking, and imagine yourself in the water. Alright?" She whispered, before peeking one eye open. She got up silently, before using flash step, and gathering water into her hands. She used flashstep once more to return to her spot, and began to splash bits of water onto Shai. She continued the process over and over again till she would scold her.

Shai nodded, but jumped slightly as the cold water was splashed onto her. But she kept on paddling, imagining that she was in the water. She wondered how long she would have to do this until she would be able to go into the water and surf.

Kin blinked as she noted that she wasn't scolded. That was strange. She continued the due process, till she began to feel tired. "Alright, alright. I guess you got enough of the ridiculous part. But I can't quite let you into the water with the board...not until I know that you know the concept of 'fun'." She grinned before nodding her head towards the water. "Let's go for a swim, but leave the board." She ordered before running towards the water with a grin on her face. "C'mon! Water ain't that bad!" She called behind her with a laugh.

Shai blinked, and got off of the board and stood up. She smiled and hurried over to Kin. She stayed quiet, and looked behind her for a second, wondering where Byakuya was.

Being in the cool water, she tilted her head wondering why Shai was taking a bit of time. "Hey! You ok?" She asked with a tilt of her head. She couldn't help but wonder what was wrong, but moved her head to look at the island before her. A beautiful place, but something eerie came around it. She couldn't help but wonder what it was. A small chuckle left her lips as she stared into the water. "Sort've reminds me of someone I know..." She muttered quietly to herself before shaking her head lightly.

Finishing his scouting, Byakuya returned back to where all the other divisions stood or sat aloof. They seemed to simply stare at the water, wondering if something would happen soon. Yet, they also seemed rather relaxed. The only ones he couldn't seem to find were the 3rd division captain, and his own 7th seat. "Lieutenant. Have you seen 7th seat, Shai?" He asked Renji but in reply came to a no. He grimaced slightly, but hid his emotions quite well. "A captain, and 7th seat is missing..." He muttered to himself, wondering if they should take immediate action or simply wait till dayfall.

"Im fine!" Shai called out, she ran towards the water and tripped on the way. She quickly got back up and laughed nervously before stepping into the cold water with Kin.

Kin simply smiled as she watched Shai fell. "You ok?" She asked with concern in her voice. She looked back to the island before grimacing slightly. Something didn't feel quite right. Shrugging it off, she looked back to the water. "Well? Let the fun begin!" She laughed before splashing water towards Shai direction. She continued to laugh before plunging herself into the water with a dive.

"Just fine," Shai smiled as she put her hands infront of her face to stop the water from getting into her eyes. She smiled softly at Kin as she dived into the water, but Shai stayed in her place. She didn't like to get her hair wet, it was a pain to deal with.

As Kin dove right back up, she turned around to look at Shai, still not in the water like she was. "Something wrong? The water's just fine!" She exclaimed with a grin. She stared at her slightly confused and splashed her at a few times. "What're you waiting for? Byaku-chan or something?" She teased, with a slight smirk. She sorta knew of her crush for the 6th division captain. It was sort of obvious with her blushing and over stuttering. But then again, she could've been mistaken since that was probably her nature.

As time ran on, Byakuya sighed. "Report?" He asked but watched as some of his officers shook their head. "What's keeping them?" He muttered to himself wondering where on Earth they could've been. "Maybe their relaxing. Like we should...?" Renji asked while rubbing the back of his neck. This caused Byakuya to blink, but he couldn't disagree. It was true. Maybe they were relaxing. But where? That's what he wanted to know...

Shai blushed and put her hands over her red face, "N-No. I-i was just thinking. Th-thats all!" Shai stammered in embarrassmet, obviously startled by the joke. Is it that obvious that I like Byakuya? she wondered. She then slowly sank underwater and stayed there for a few seconds, before coming up for air. She felt alot better. "Nothings wrong." she stated again.

Snickering, Kin watched as Shai began to stutter. Almost as if she were able to read her mind, she calmly said, "Don't worry, it ain't that obvious." She continued to laugh quietly as she hit the jackpot. But she wasn't so cruel to use it against her. 'Hmm, maybe this'll help her somehow now...' She thought to herself before smiling brightly. "Alright. Well, you seem to be a bit stubborn when it comes to fun." She stated bluntly with a light sigh. "But, I'm going to change that. Even if it'll kill me!" She declared with a nod and grinned. "Now, I want you, to imagine yourself. Being in the water, laughing, swimming, playing and...being with the certain person you like." She grinned deviously before placing her hands on her hips.

Shai blinked, how was she going to imagine that when she knew it would never happen? Byakuya was so serious, and he hardly liked her. "Um..Okay, but..Why?" she asked as she nervously played with her fingers as she tried to hide her blush. She had no clue what Kin was trying to do, she hoped it wasn't a trick, or a joke of some kind.

Kin smiled warmly. "Trust me...in this, you just have to." She whispered. "It's a task, that I know it'll be hard for you. But because so, I need you to relax. Be at peace, and let go of the serious work and all that junk. You have to be more chill...and learn real fun." She explained while circling her carefully. "Someone told me that once...and I'd never forget those words..." She added quietly before stopping in front of her and staring up at the skies. Her hands slightly twitched as she began to think of Gin, and she quickly shook her head. 'I'm such a fool for even remembering that...' She thought to herself resisting to sigh, since Shai was still in front of her.

"Okay," Shai replied softly. She closed her eyes and tried imagining. Her and Byakuya swimming together, laughing and splashing each other. Shai smiled to herself as she continued to imagine. The next thing she imagined was Byakuya pulling her close to him and giving her a passionate kiss. "Oh Byakuya, your lips are so soft.." Shai muttered, not realizing she had actually said that outloud, where Kin could hear it. But Shai still had her eyes closed, as she kept on imagining.

Kin watched amused that she actually began to imagine the sort of things that she hoped she would. She blinked however as she whispered that, and resisted the urge to laugh. She figured she would want to disturb her from her imagination and silently moved out of the water to grab the board. Snatching the board from the sandy ground and looking back at Shai, she smiled. She slowly placed the board on the calm waters, and balanced herself well on the board as she sat cross-legged. She smiled as she pushed herself towards Shai and tilted her head at her imagining state. 'Wonder if I should keep letting her go on like this...' She thought to herself, but thought in addition that it would be rather amusing to watch what would happen next.

After a bit more, intimate imaginations (xD) Shai's eyes had quickly open, swearing that blood had fell from her nose. She wiped her nose, and looked over at Kin with a blush on her face. "Well..T-that was..Um..A nice imagination.." she stammered as she rubbed the back of her neck.

Kin laughed slightly, before grinning. "Yeah...it must've been." She commented before scratching her head slightly. "Though, I didn't think it would go that far...anywho. How do you feel as of now?" She asked happily with a warm smile. She had been sitting cross-legged on the board with a few small waves going against her. The real waves - the ones that she favored most, were far more ahead. But she wanted to wait for those, just until Shai was ready, which might've been a while.

Shai laughed nervously and sighed, "I feel good, I guess. I feel like finding Byakuya and telling him how I really feel." she said softly.

Kin simply smiled. Even if she wasn't able to teach her how to surf, at least she would be able to help with a little something else. "Well then...why don't you?" She asked reluctantly with a small grin on her face.

Shai smiled, "I should. I really should," she exclaimed. "I need to be brave, and stop holding back." she grew confident and quickly got out of the water. She panicked a bit wondering if she should just run, or put back on her shuhakusho. She decided to put her shuhakusho on, "Are you going to come Kin-taich- I mean Kin?" she asked.

Being dazed for the time being, Kin stared into the water not even realizing that Shai had ran out of it. Hearing her name being called, she immediately turned her head towards Shai's direction. She contemplated for a bit, but bowed her head. "Ehm, no I'm fine. Go tell my squad that I'll be awhile, 'kay?" She called out to her with a small smile. "And good luck!" She added with a grin and gave her the thumbs up. She did it. She gave Shai more confidence. It made her happy and yet she couldn't help but feel empty as well.

"No report?" Again, just a shake of the lieutenant's head. Was something wrong? Should he have started to worry? He scolded himself bitterly for not being responsible enough. It was his duty. He clenched his hands bitterly and looked to the waters. What if something had really happened...? "Lieutenant. Be in charge for the time being. I'll go search for her myself." He explained before heading towards the direction where he remembered use to be Shai's footsteps before the waves had made them disappear.

Shai smiled at Kin, and retraced her steps. Hoping Byakuya was still in the same place as before. "Byakuya-Taichou?" Shai called out, as she looked around. She heard chattering, but it was amungst other squads and of course none of them were Shai's friends. Shai continued walking, hoping she would spot Byakuya soon.

Hearing a small voice calling out to him, Byakuya turned his head towards the direction. He knew that voice. Walking his way towards it, he continued his direction. "Shai?" He called out as well, wondering if he was simply hallucinating.

Kin continued to balance herself on her board in the water. She pulled her legs under her chin and stared at her reflection. "I should be happy...I might've made a new couple today..." She muttered to herself. "So why aren't I happy...?" She continued to question, before watching a simple tear drop fall into the water. She fluttered her eyes, blinking at the fact that tears were escaping her eyes. Slapping her hand against the reflection she panted slightly not wanting to let her solemn side take control.

Shai smiled, hearing Byakuya's voice. "Byakuya-taichou, over here!" Shai chirped happily as she jogged over to where she had heard Byakuya's voice. When she had spotted him, she quickly ran over to him and had imediatley stopped herself from glopping him.

Gin had been patrolling the island. Sneaky as always, he was unable to be spotted by one bird or squad member. Though, he almost forgot what he was here for. He decided he'll just look around. Many squads were enjoying themselves, others were just standing like cluesless idiots. As Gin drifted into though, he wonderred how Kin was.

Seeing Shai right in front of him, Byakuya gave a light sigh. She was still alive, and looked to be unharmed. He stared at her with his dark eyes and felt as his arms twitched. He wanted to hug her, like any captain would after worrying that their own officer was gone, but he stopped himself in the nick of time. He hadn't want to show that he was weak or anything. "Where were you this whole time?" He asked on the verge of a worried tone and yet serious one as well.

Kin breathed heavily. She was a captain now, and she needed to be stronger than she use to. She continued to pant slightly but laid herself on her board. She needed to keep her mind off of the past. It didn't even seem that the water was helping her as of now. She had so many questions rushing through her mind. Why did he leave the division? He left so many people...Matsumoto-san, Kira, and... She didn't even want to bother finishing her own statement.

Shai blinked, and smiled sheepishly. "Well, as I was looking around. I bumped into Kin-taichou, we talked and she tried teaching me how to surf," she then blushed. "Byakuya-taichou, I need to tell you something." she said softly, gazing down at her legs which began to shake in nervousness.

Sighing, Byakuya felt relieved that she was safe. She was with a captain for one thing, and she was unharmed for another. Blinking as she spoke softly, he looked down at her once, and turned his gaze back to the waters. "Yes? What is it?" He asked not in a sharp tone, but in a soft and curious one. He smiled slightly. Shai sort've reminded him of Hisana, but he stayed silent till Shai would speak.

Kin stayed on her board after contemplating whether to go on shore yet, or chill and be in the water for a bit longer. She figured she couldn't stay on it forever, and she grew tired as waves simply pushed her. The waves were starting to become higher, meaning that the tide was growing higher as well. Stumbling onto the sand, she walked towards the forest like terrain and placed her board gently near a tree. "Well, guess I better be off to my squad..." She muttered to herself before going in one direction. However, little did she know that she took a different route and the opposite direction of where the others were.

Shai bit her lip, and looked down at her feet. "I know your my captain and all. But, I..I really like you Byakuya-taichou." she said softly as she looked away from him, mentally slapping herself. Jesus how obvious was that?! she cried on the inside, knowing that Byakuy would lecture her and scold her about the liking and what would happen if a captain and a squad member were together and bla, bla bla.

The information definitely surprised Byakuya. He blinked, a bit shocked but stared down at her not quite sure what to think of. Or at least what to say. He fell silent. He was between two people. One of them being Shai, and the other being Hisana. Even though she was still gone, he was still faithful to her...
"Shai...I...don't quite know what to say." He muttered quietly trying to resist a soft sigh. He was always told to let go sooner or later but it wasn't quite that easy.

Continuing her route, Kin looked around suspiciously. She should've been hearing the many division's voices by now. "Hello? Hey! You guys ditch me already or something?" She called out beginning to get worried and feel alone. "Oh shoot! I forgot my haori!" She exclaimed, realizing that she left her uniform.

Shai saddened, not exactly what she expected. But then again she knew Byakuya didn't like her. She bit her lip, and wiped her watery eyes. "I understand," she whispered. She then quickly ran off, so much for a vacation. She continued running, not knowing where to go. She just wanted to get away, always seeing as running get's you out of everything. But it doesn't, sometime's it makes everything worse. Shai's run slowly turned into a jog, her chest was burning badly from the constant running. How come no one ever loved her? Her parents didn't love her, her siblings didn't love her. Is it my hair? she wondered as she pulled her green hair out of it's long braid. It was rare to see her with her hair down, very. Im not a monster..Am I? she asked herself.

Before he could add one more word, he realized that Shai had already ran off. "Shai! Shai!!" He yelled after her, but saw that she had already came out of view. His arm reached now, for nothing. It was just the same, him reaching out for nothing. He had nothing to reach for, and when he nearly had it, it simply flew or ran away. 'I'm such a fool...' He thought to himself, with a scold to himself. "Captain? Do you want me to go after her?" One of his officers asked. With a shake of his head, Byakuya began to follow her footsteps and walk after her. If the problem was because of him, he would fix it himself, and no one else.

Holding herself Kin sighed. "Should I go back...?" She wondered aloud suddenly feeling alone. She shook her head. It wouldn't go anywhere - possibly. And perhaps, she would just get another. Unlikely though... She sighed once more. She held herself tighter. "I hate being alone..." She muttered to herself in a small whisper. Biting her lip slightly, she felt as the hot sand slightly burned her feet. Glancing to the forest, she blinked. "Maybe I should go through there...?" She wondered but shrugged. She was up for adventure, she supposed. Making up her mind she headed for the green moist area.

Shai continued to cry softly as she played with her long green hair. Should I cut it? she wondered. She shook her head and leaned her back against the tree, and slid down onto the hot sand. She buried her head in her hands and began sobbing. Im so weak. If I was stronger, and less sensitive. Would everyone like me better? she asked herself. She cried out in agitation and began to sob even more. "Someone kill me now," she murmured.

Walking for quite a bit, Byakuya looked around. He had followed her footsteps shortly. That was until they vanished from the waves. This 'vacation' wasn't quite a good start. "Shai!" He called out repeatedly wondering where she had ran off to. He sighed. He should've known, from the very start. He was even told by the other captains of this, just never really listened to them. He simply answered the same thing over and over again. 'You shouldn't joke around like that...' If only he knew that they weren't joking. "Shai!!!"

Kin winced as her feet started to become sore by stepping on rocks of different sorts. "Where the hell am I anyways?" She wondered to herself, looking around curiously. She wanted to find at least someone. She hated the feeling of lonliness. She felt similar to Kira. Being caged or locked. Alone.

Shai had heard Byakuya's calling out, but she didn't respond. She was to upset to talk, right now she just wanted to be alone. She just wanted to sit in the very same spot until she rotted to death. Many negative thought's, this was supposed to be a vacation. Not a love soap show of some kind. Shai had finally seized her sobbing, and now tears were just slipping out of her eyes, and down her beautiful face.

Gin had been flash-stepping through-out the whole island, not finding anything interesting so far. Everyone was either laying down on a towel, swimming, or chasing each other. Gin had watched over Rangiku for a few minutes, seeing her hanging out with most of the other leuitenants and of course she was having an amazing time. Oddly, Gin hadn't found Momo yet. Was she still injured? Gin shrugged it off and disappeared, he was searching for one particular person. "Kin..Where could you be?" he murmured to himself.

Byakuya sighed. Why did it always turn up to a 'no' report when he wanted to find Shai? Still, he didn't want to give up. "Sha-" he started till he heard some soft sobbing. His heart fell. He never knew he could've made someone cry. Breathing in deeply, he flash-stepped the remainder of the way towards Shai. Finally appearing in front of her, he looked down at her with onyx colored eyes. "Shai...you shouldn't have ran off like that..." He whispered with a slight sigh of relief that she hadn't gone quite far.

"Please...someone just find me already..." She whispered to herself, biting her lip as she walked through mossy floor. She stared at the ground and scowled. "Maybe running off like that wasn't really a good i- EEEEEEE!!!" She closed her eyes tightly as she suddenly found herself, holding onto a thick root of a tree. She hadn't quite seen where she was going and had apparently fell off a small crater. She looked down to see nothing but pitch darkness and closed her eyes tightly. Holding onto the root for her life she continued to dangle. "Damn it!! Don't I just got all the luck!?" She yelled at herself angrily before trying to use her feet to help her up onto safer ground. However, only finding herself getting a possibility of falling. "Help!!" She shrieked hoping someone would come to her rescue. She hated being pathetic, but as of now, she didn't much care.

Shai froze, and moved her hands away from her eyes and looked up at Byakuya. "Well, it's the only thing im good at." she stated softly as she looked down at her feet. She played with her hair, and kept avoiding eye contact with Byakuya. "Can you go away, please Captain? I just want to be alone.." she exclaimed. Though, she didn't mean it. She wanted Byakuya to stay.

Gin had seen Kin, and was able to flash-step quickly and save her life. Without being seen, he picked her up bridal style and placed her back onto the ground. "You should be more careful next time, Kin," he said, with his usual smile. He really shouldn't be out in the open like this, but it was Kin. She wouldn't tell anyone would she?

His eyes lowered as he noticed her averting her eyes from his. Ignoring her plead, he went down on one knee to look at her better. "Shai...? How long has it been, since you've become my 7th seat?" He asked with a slight smile. No one had been around, so he figured weakness wasn't an option as of now. Noticing a bit of tears still on her wet cheek, he hesitated to wipe them away, but soon cleaned them off with his thumb. 'So much like Hisana...' The thought reappeared in his mind, before he gave a soft smile.

Kin grew wide-eyed as she saw a flash of familiar silver hair. She felt her heart skip a slight beat before she suddenly found herself looking up at the former captain. "Gin..." She breathed absolutely amazed. Her words suddenly became trapped. Was it really him? Or had too many thoughts cloud her mind and gave her hallucinations? Having a shaky hand brush his cheek she gasped seeing that he was real, and not any imagination. She felt so confused and at a lost so sudden. Taking a few steps back away from him, she suddenly remembered that he was the enemy and betrayed so many. Clenching her hands together, she pulled out her zanpakuto and placed it's blade gently against his neck. "W-Why are you here?" She asked shakily, shocked that she was actually doing this.

Shai looked up at Byakuya in amasement. Oh my god he touched my face.. she thought happily. "A long time?" Shai answered, slightly confused. She couldn't beleive this was happening, this had to be a joke. This had to be a joke!

Gin kept on smiling, but acted as if he was scared. "Oh, a sword to my neck. Kin would you really hurt me?" he asked. "Besides im only here to see how everyone is doing, especially you Kin. I wasn't going to let you just fall in that hole." he said. He simply held onto Kin's wrist and made her drop the sword.

Byakuya did his best not to chuckle, but simply smiled. "Correction...about 21 years already." He pointed out with a small smile. "But yes, a long time I suppose." He muttered before sitting down in front of her. "Then, how long have you...well, liked me?" He asked slightly uneasy. It wasn't the topic he talked about every day, but he did feel rather curious. A part of him scolded himself because so, but he ignored it for once.

Kin gasped lightly as her sword fell to the ground. She bit her lip and stared up at him sharply. "You're lying...what are you really here for? Aizen's bidding?!" She asked with a hint of anger in her tone. She watched as he continued to smile and closed her eyes. That's what made her like him deeply in the first place. Struggling to get out of his reach, she did her best not to cry out. She needed to be stronger...that's what she always reminded herself. Even though she hated it.

Shai smiled a bit, and let out a small laugh. "Captain, I liked you ever since I laid eyes on you. That's a long time you know," she says as she wags her finger at Byakuya. "Haven't the other captains told you? Im sure they all knew that." she exclaimed as she stared into Byakuya's eyes.

Gin hesitated but again, he lied, "Aizen? Aizen has nothing to do with this," he said as he let go of Kin's wrist. "Like I said I just came here to see how everyone was doing, come on. Cant you beleive me?"

Byakuya blinked as she wagged her finger in front of him. He smiled lightly, and looked away at her last remark. "I rather ignore their comments at times..." He muttered with a slight sigh. "But lately they have been annoying me quite often with the topic..." He explained quietly, before shaking his head slightly. Looking back at her, he had realized that her hair was down, and not in the usual braid. Combing a hand through her hand, and holding the bundle in his hand limply, he commented, "You're hair is rather beautiful..."

Clenching her hands, she shook her head quickly. "No...h-how can I believe you...when you left everyone behind...especially me." She whispered harshly and quietly before feeling tear drops fall down from her face. Rubbing at her eyes fiercely, she did her best to hold them back. But only failed in doing so. Not wanting him to see her like this, she quickly turned around and ran deeper into the forest. 'Why is he here? And why won't he tell me the truth?' She thought to herself still running as fast as she could into the darkness, but stumbled here and there onto the ground. But with every stumble she continued to get up and run as fast as she could.

Shai smiled a bit, and blushed. She looked down, then back up at Byakuya. "Thank you," she then grinned slightly. "Your hair is..Rather beautiful to." she exclaimed jokingly as she let out a small giggle.

Gin's usual sarcastic smile had dropped into a frown, "Oh dear," he sighed. He shrugged and placed a hand ontop of his head. He stood still for a second, before looking around. Wondering where he should go next, and wondering why he left to go with Aizen in the first place.

Byakuya laughed quietly at her small joke. "Thank you...I guess." He muttered with another chuckle. Letting go of her hair, he smiled at her and looked away once more. He never seemed to realize it, but possibly he did love her in a way. She wasn't Hisana - that was one thing - but, he knew one thing was for sure. Hisana would've wanted him to be happy...like she was. Glancing back at her, Byakuya let out a soft sigh before smiling once more.

With her last fall, Kin stayed on the leaf-covered ground and began to cry her heart out. Many years of holding them back simply poured out in a few mere minutes. "Why did I ever even fall in love with him?" She managed to ask herself in between tears. She pounded the ground with a fist like an angered or lost child. She never realized how much she felt so lost until now. "Why...Why did it have to be him..." She whispered before curling herself into a tight ball and crying to herself.

"Your welcome." Shai smiled. Noticing Byakuya kept looking away, then back at her. What was he thinking about? Shai rather not ask, knowing she would probably start something. "Well, instead of just sitting here," Shai sighed. "I think we should go swimming or something. You, especially Byakuya. You need to relax." she exclaimed.

Blinking, Byakuya stared at her with slight confusion. "Swimming...? But I don't have the right attire..." He muttered giving a slight lie and excuse. He did have shorts, just didn't quite know it himself. As a tease, some of the officers had packed them in secretly without him noticing. As well, he didn't want to further embarass him since he did not quite know how to swim.

As tears turned into sniffles, Kin fluttered her eyes open slowly. She sat up slowly, and looked around with question. She had ran off quite far. But she soon regretted it, since part of her longed to be with Gin longer. Now she wasn't quite sure how long she would be able to see him once more. Sighing, she got up, stumbling a bit and stood aloof. She grimaced lightly realizing she left her zanpakuto Kurayami. She couldn't retrace her steps with the leaves. Sighing, she moved herself towards one direction and slightly perked up when she noticed a cave just ahead. "Maybe I'll...stay there for today." She muttered softly in a bit of a daze before dragging herself towards the entrance of the cave.

Shai slapped her forehead. Slightly aggervated, "How come you never have any fun? Your so serious all the time, loosen up!" she said as she stood up. She then felt the corner of her lips roll into a smirk. "You don't know how to swim either, do you?" she asked. "Plus, you wear boxers dont you?" she said with a big smile.

Byakuya simply laughed. "You're one to say, you've changed quite a bit from when we came from Soul Society. What happened?" He asked with a small chuckle. He blinked at her two remarking questions and slightly blushed with a small grimace. "Must I answer those two questions?" He asked looking away before rubbing the back of his neck. "But to answer your second question, yes I do wear boxers, is there a certain importance to it?" He laughed slightly before shaking his head.

Finally arriving into the cave, Kin sighed as she fell to her knees and winced slightly knowing that she had possibly scraped them against the rock. Crawling towards the rocky wall she leaned against it before staring out of the entrance. She closed her eyes, letting some remaining tears escape. "I'm so sorry Gin..." She whispered, suddenly feeling grief overwhelm her after doing a runaway stunt such as that.

Shai chuckled a bit, "What, you want me to change again?" she asked. "I guess being around Kin for awhile, helped me realize..Something. I dont know what. But..It's a good thing your wearing boxers. C'mon lets go swimming!" she exclaimed. She had spotted Byakuya's blush and knew very well he couldn't swim, but she decided not to tease him about it.

"Kin huh? If you call her by only her name, you have been being around her for quite a while..." He muttered to himself before laughing quietly. Again feeling quite confused he blinked and was about to ask about his swimming clothes till he realized what she meant. "You...really don't expect me to swim in my boxers...do you?" He asked with a few blinks and scratched his head slightly.

Lying down against the cold rocky floor, Kin picked up a nearby rock and began to hit it against the floor. Realizing that it could be used as a sort of chalk like substance, she began to chip in her name, as well as a small drawing of a heart. She smiled slightly as she continued on. Drawing nonsense, but soon realized she drew a grinning fox. Blinking at her art, she simply laughed quietly, but soon found herself rolling on the floor laughing aloud.

Shai smiled and nodded, "Yep. Or are you to scared?" she teased. "Oh come on, everyone does it. Atleast were not going skinny dipping!" she giggled and blushed a bit.

Laughing nervously, Byakuya sighed before nodding. "Alright then..." He muttered quietly. For one, he didn't want to be teased for being weak or scared. And for another, he did figure that no one was around to watch them. Feeling quite embarassed, he pulled off his shihakusho and blushed slightly before revealing himself in his black boxers. "Is that good enough for you?" He asked rubbing the back of his neck and turning around to face Shai.

Finishing her laughter, Kin soon crossed the picture out with the rock. She sighed. She suddenly felt hungry, but she couldn't face the other divisions just yet. She strangely wanted to distance herself from them. Sighing, she fell onto her back and stared up at the ceiling of the cave. She grimaced after hearing her stomach growl and yelled, "Yeah, yeah, yeah...shut up already!" She chuckled lightly as she heard her echo and continued to stay as she was.

Shai blushed, "Yeah, yeah." she muttered. She pulled off the robe to her shihakusho and reveiled her white bathing suit with red outlinings. She bit her lip and looked up at Byakuya with a smile. "Let's go swimming!" she exclaimed excitedly.

Untangling his hair out of his noble lineage hair piece, he allowed his long black hair to dangle. "Fine." He muttered inaudibly before sighing lightly. Walking towards the direction of the water, he slightly hesitated. It was embarassing not being able to swim. And more embarassing to be in his boxers. Oh the shame...

Else where, with the other divisions! Some of squad 6's officers began to worry. For one, their 7th seat Shai was gone. And for another, their Captain was gone! How could they have relaxed knowing that they could be in danger.
"Relax, maybe their having some alone time..." Laughed Rangiku, as she snickered slightly at the thought.
"She's probably right. It was going to happen sooner or later." Called out a relaxed Hisagi while laying down in the sand.
"Well, then what should we do?" Asked Renji who seemed at a lost. He was left in charge yet he was also curious of what his captain was doing.
"Hmm...video tape them?" Rangiku asked with a grin before holding up one in particular. Smiles soon spreaded on others before they began to sneak off into the direction where Byakuya and Shai were possibly at.

Shai giggled, "Don't worry, I'll teach you how to swim," she said. She grabbed Byakuya's hand and attempted to drag him to the beach, he was moving to slow.

Byakuya was slightly taken aback as he was pulled but smiled slightly as he watched Shai. He soon felt the water at his feet and felt a shudder of coldness run through his spine. "Ehm, should we stop?" He asked seeing as how the water was near to his knees.

Yawning, Kin fluttered her eyes before curling herself up in a ball. "Loooonely...I am so loooonely...I have no booody...foooor my ooooown..." She sang with amusement as her echo went on. She laughed slightly since she remembered hearing that song when venturing in the real world. "Gosh I'm such a dork.." She continued to laugh quietly at herself.

((Yeah, they do at times. xD Which is why as of right now, you're pretty much my rp'ing buddy. xD Hmm...depending what you wanna do an rp of? An anime? Mystery? Something else? But of course something with drama. Can't leave that out. x3))

Shai laughed, "Nope." she answered and pulled Byakuya deeper into the water. She kept going until the water was up to her waist. "M'kay, we'll stop here. Your not scared are you?" she teased.

Looking to see that the water was near his waist Byakuya sighed slightly. "No I'm not scared." He defended with a stubborn stare. However, he simply had to keep glancing from time to time at the water level. Afraid that it might raise at any time soon. He grimaced at how pathetic he must've seemed.


((That'd be cool! Gotta love bleach. x3 Hmm, we could probably do one when they're some place that's really snowy. Then their could be like an avalanche or something and they're stuck. Or we can do one where two typical girls that are friends randomly find a way into the Bleach world and get stuck there for the time being...I don't know, my imaginations running low but I'll think of some more if you don't like either of the ideas. Shai giggled, "Well first things first, go underwater. Get your hair wet." she exclaimed as she went under the water, and soon came up feeling cooled off and relaxed.

Byakuya grimaced. "Do I really have to get my hair wet?" He asked but soon after sighed. Shaking his head, he dipped his head underwater and soon lifted his head. "Alright...what now?" He asked shaking his head, as his wet hair started to become a nuisance already.

Byakuya fell silent. "Float on my ba-" He started but figured that he should simply stay silent. "Ok then..." He mumbled before turning around and leaning back into the water. He felt strange as he did so, but fell back way to far and splashed into the water. Floating on his back was quite the challenge. Going back up he gasped and shook his head.

Shai giggled and shook her head, "I dont understand why you cant swim, it's the easiest thing in the world." she said.

((Okay. xD My idea was two girls are about to graduate the soul reaper academy, and there really good friends and they hope to be on the same division. But with there luck they get seperated and unfortunatley the teams they went on made them become enemies, somehow. Now their both rivals, or something like that.))

"Not quite the easiest thing if you don't know how to swim." He pointed out before watching her laugh. Smirking slightly, he splashed her and laughed slightly. "You're right. This is sorta fun." He snickered quietly before smiling slightly.

After 25 minutes had passed, Kin yawned widely. She had apparently fell asleep. She also had the most wonderful dream, but only a blush on her face would tell what she had dreamed of...or who of in this case. Rubbing her eyes slightly and touching her red cheeks, she laughed quietly to herself. "Sure wish I can have that dream again..." She muttered to herself, feeling her cheeks brighten more as she continued to think.

((Hmm, not a bad idea! We can link my idea and your's together if you want! Like, two girls that are the best of friends somehow get their butts into the Bleach world and better yet, Soul Society. While their trying to find a way to get back home, the captains place them on different divisions causing them to become rivals and enemies after some fight or arguement! How's that?))

Shai squeaked, and closed her eyes as she was splashed. She opened her eyes and glared playfully at Byakuya. "Your in for it now, buddy!" she exclaimed as she splashed him back.

Byakuya gave a small laugh before being splashed. "Oh am I?" He asked with a slight smirk before splashing her once more. He had to admit, it was actually pretty fun.

Stretching, Kin got up from her spot and moved away from the cave, wondering where to go next. She soon wondered if Gin was around still. But if she yelled out his name, the other divisions definitely would've become all over that case. "Gin?" She whispered childishly but ended up laughing at her dumb attempt.

"Yeah!" Shai answered in determination, as she attempted to dodge the splash. She grinned and splashed him back with both hands.

Byakuya laughed as she splashed him, but ended up falling back into the water. He went back up and gasped. "That was unfair." He simply stated before shaking his head, having drops of water escape his hair like a shaggy dog.

Looking around, she wondered where her zanpaku-to was as of now. "Kurayami!" She called out, but felt idiotic since she was calling for her own sword that wouldn't even reply in return. "Pfft, aren't I smart..." She laughed carelessly, before looking around and beginning to sing a small song. Though soon, her small song soon became a full song.

Byakuya simply had to laugh at her childish. She was cute as she acted that way. He blushed slightly as she ran a hand through his hair. Smiling slightly, he replied with a soft, "Thank you.." He averted his eyes feeling rather embarassed but smiled nonetheless. "Shai, might I...ehm..." He spoke up, but couldn't find his words. He wanted to ask politely if he would be able to kiss her, but like a shy high school prom date, he choked.

Finishing her song, she slightly laughed before she felt a familiar reiatsu. "Gin..." She breathed with a small smile. Acting as if she didn't realize it, she walked towards that direction knowing that Kurayami would still be there as well. Finding the sword she exclaimed, "Ah! There you are! I've been wondering where you were!" Her tone slightly dramatic as she spoke sarcastically and picked up her sword, and sheathed it one more time. "Now where is that other thing I'm missing..." She wondered aloud, pretending that she was looking for something else when she was really looking for Gin.

Shai smiled up at him and tilted her head to the side a bit, "Come on, say it." she encouraged as she circled Byakuya and grinned as she studied his muscular features.

Gin looked down and saw Kin. He smiled, and shook his head. He wasn't dumb, and knew she was looking for him. But why sudden change in emotion? First she wanted to attack him, and now she wanted to find him?

Byakuya kept his gaze on her as she circled him and smiled. "Very well..." Taking a deep breath, he went in for the plunge. "Might I kiss you?" He asked simply still keeping his eyes on her as she did with him.

Kin pouted as she looked behind a simple palm leaf bush and looked around. "C'mon Gin...I know yer around here somewhere." She whined folding her arms over her chest. Her face dropped as she began to kick at a twig on the dirt ground. 'He's probably still mad at me for trying to attack him...' She thought to herself, scowling at remembering that. How could she have done something so idiotic? She sighed and bit her lip slightly, still kicking at the small twig.

Shai blushed faintly, and nodded. "Yes you may." Shai smiled as she looked into Byakuya's eyes. She had never been so happy in her whole entire life. This, was a dream come true.

Gin grinned slightly, "Aw, c'mon Kin. Am I that hard to find?" he asked out loud. The problem was it sounded like his voice was heard from every direction of the forest.

Smiling, Byakuya looked into her blue eyes and brushed wet strands of hair away from her face. Lifting her chin, he gently placed his lips against her's into a soft kiss. His heart skipped a slight beat as he did so, but he felt at ease, nonetheless.

Twirling around, Kin looked in every direction. She had to grin, however. She simply loved hearing his voice. "Mm, Maybe." She called out in return still glancing in different places, wondering if he would simply pop out of thin air like a magician. She laughed slightly at the thought.

Shai continued blushing as she leaned up on her tippy toes to kiss Byakuya back. She couldn't have been more happier, but she had an odd feeling that they weren't the only ones enjoying the scene.

Gin smiled and looked down at Kin, wondering if she'd ever find him.

Blushing as well, Byakuya placed an arm gently around her waist, slowly deepening the kiss. Just like her, he could sense reiatsus all around them. The snoopy people...he knew very well that once they were done, they both would have to deal with them very soon.

"Aww, isn't that cute~!" Rangiku whispered quietly before catching the little kissing scene on the video tape.
"Should we really be doing this?" Asked a concered Kira who was surprisingly dragged along by the others.
"Wow, never knew the Captain had it in him..." Renji snickered as he watched his own captain having a make-out scene with the 7the seat.
"Hah! Told you they'd do it, now pay up." Ikkaku demanded as a reluctant Hisagi sighed and gave him 100 yen in payment for their bet.

Getting tired of twirling around, she stopped in her tracks and sighed. "Fine, we'll do it the easy way then..." She whined, before using flashstep and appearing right in front of him on the branch. "Found ya~!" She sang happily with a small laugh as she grinned.

Shai struggled, but eventually got her arms around Byakuya's neck. She kissed him back once more before she pulled away for air. "I say we chase 'em and get the tape, because there taping us too." Shai whispered, and doing something awfully shocking - flipping the bird to the luietenants.

Slightly startled, Gin looked up. "Very good. Was I that easy to find?" he asked sarcasticlly.

Byakuya blinked and smirked slightly. "I agree, that does sound like an awefully good plan." He commented before snickering slightly as she flipped them off. "Would you like to start the chase?" He asked with a smile.

The lieutenants and officers suddenly froze.
"...Ooooh crap..." Rangiku cursed quickly putting the video tape away. "I think it's time we made a run for it~" She sang before starting off.
"Hey! Wait up!!" The others quickly yelled before running after her in fear of a 7th seat, and captain on their trails.

Shrugging, Kin simply smiled at him. "Nah, I'm just getting better than you." She retorted with a smirk on her face. "I think someone's just getting a little too shabby from shinigami work." She added still with a smirk on her face.

"Yeah!" Shai answered. She then grinned, "It's time Shai, 7th seat of squad 6 makes a comback!" she exclaimed, she then sped out of the water and after the leuitenants with surprisingly amazing speed. This was probably because she had been low on self-esteem and now she felt stronger than ever. She had began to run after particular people, in this case she had decided to chase after her main role model- Rangiku Matsumoto.

Gin raised an eyebrow, "Is that so?"

Byakuya only felt as a flash of wind flew by him before watching Shai's figure already running on the shore. "...Wow." He whispered before smiling slightly. Using simple flash step, he easily caught up with his lieutenant. "Really Renji, did you think you would get away without being caught?" He asked as he ran beside him, with ease. Of course, he wasn't in any real trouble. He was too happy to punish anyone at that moment.

"UWAAA!!!! I'm sorry!!! I'm sorry!!!" Rangiku shrieked out before running away from Shai. As to why she was chasing her, she was oblivious...perhaps it was because she had the video tape...? Possibly. "Sorry, sorry, sorry!!" She continued to shriek however not surrendering the video just yet.

"Of course so!" Kin stated merrily with a grin. "The former 3rd captain can't keep up with the current one." She teased still having a great smirk plastered on her face. She enjoyed teasing him, only because that he would tease back. It was like a little game she enjoyed playing over and over again.

((Whew, that's pretty lucky. x3 For us, it was rain rain, hail hail, and loud thunder. >< It was scary. But we're glad that's passed.))

"You better be sorry!" Shai shouted as she continued chasing Rangiku like a crazed wild tiger. "Gimme' that tape!" she stated as she finally had caught up to Rangiku and was right on her tail. "Uwwahh!" Shai cried out as she jumped onto Rangiku's back. "Gimme the tape!" Shai ordered.

"..." Gin had stayed quiet for a moment, figuring out the right words to say. "Because you simply trained, but that doesn't mean your stronger than me. Just faster."

Renji merely stuttered as he saw his captain before him and immediately bowed. "I-I sorry captain! Do forgive my foolish acts!" He pleaded sweating out of fear, of possible punishment.
"It's fine, just don't let Shai know of this...even though she probably does." Byakuya muttered with a smile causing Renji to become absolutely amazed. Was it just him, or did Byakuya really absolutely change? He didn't know what to make of it.

Falling face first, Rangiku shrieked. "EEEEK! Help! Get this crazy monkey off of me!!" She laughed but really did want someone to get Shai off of her. "Never!! I'll never surrender the tape!" She stated with her tongue out.

Kin simply chuckled, before standing up and balancing herself on the branch. "I highly doubt that, but speed and strength isn't he only thing that I'm better than you at. I'm also better at balance, sneakiness, and..." She trailed off not wanting to finish with a little trap that she had devised. She wanted to be sure of his feelings for one, and she didn't want to seem so rushed.

Shai frowned, "I am not a monkey," she said, now saddened. "Yeah, don't surrender the tape because I dont want it. I dont care," she murmured under her breath. "Your all jealous." she stated before walking away without another word.

Byakuya glanced towards Shai as she began to walk on her own. Blinking, he moved his way towards her and soon began to walk beside her. "Is something wrong?" He asked with concern, hoping that no one had offended her or something.

Rangiku blinked as she suddenly walked away from her and was suddenly confused. "What? Was it something I said?" She asked completely oblivious and wondering if she had blurted out something wrong.

Kin had turned her back against him, still contemplating whether to just spit it out or not. Twirling around to face him with a grin, she shook her head. "It was nothing!" She said with her two hands waving in front of her. "Just a dramatic pause thing..." She lied with a laugh and continued to grin.

She hated lying, and when lying her stomach would usually end up in knots. Scowling, she looked away with a clear red blush on her cheeks. "Umm...well, I'd rather not say..." She stated turning around, facing her back to him. She didn't want to show him her clear red face.

Taken aback for a second, Byakuya held her back as well before patting her head. "Is that it?" He asked with a small smile. And if you could bring Rangiku down without using sake, then that was pretty strong." He added with a warm smile, lifting her chin hoping to see her beautiful smile.

Blinking, Kin quickly stammered, "N-No! Of course not!" If she had been Pinochio, her nose would've grown long. She did her best, moving her head away from Gin just so that he did not see her progressing red face. "I-I just..." She mumbled before trying to think of an excuse quick. "I-It's just the sun...it's giving me sunburn..." She lied horribly seeing as how they were silhouetted by trees. She scowled lightly not believing her lame lie.

"Then you should put suntan lotion on," Gin exclaimed. "Unless you wan't skin cancer. I know I dont want that." he stated sarcasticaly.

Renji immediately shrieked out a, "WHAT!?" At the sound of this but Byakuya simply shook his had. "Don't worry...if you keep it up, you'll move up to a possible 4th seat in no time." He said softly before smiling down at her.

Kin simply shook her head and gave a slight glare at him. "I would put some on if I had some. But sadly, I don't." She shrugged. "Not like I carry some around me everywhere I go..." She added, and turned around to face him once more. She stared up at him, and tilted her head slightly. She simply loved the color of his hair and his face. Brushing a hand slightly against his cheek, she slightly blushed before smiling weakly, and pulling her hand away. "Um, s-sorry..." She stuttered under her breath before bowing her head.

Kin laughed immediately at this. "Yeah, that's almost like saying I can't resist my own charm and beauty." She said dramatically, with yet another laugh. She always joked about her looks, even though she didn't mean it sometimes. "Still..." She started with a slight smirk. "You do have a rather handsome face." She pointed out with a slight shrug.

Shai smiled, and wrapped her arms around Byakuya and stared into the water with him. "That sounds good to me," she responded. "But for now, let's just relax." she stated. She then looked towards the sky, "I wonder what time it is.." she muttered under her breath.

Gin chuckled, "Oh really? Captain obvious." He responded playfully. "You, are quite beautiful yourself you know."

Placing a warm arm over her shoulders, Byakuya smiled before looking down at her. "Well, probably near night...the sun's about to set after all. Care to watch it with me...?" He asked gently with a small smile.

Kin laughed quietly and rolled her eyes. "Pfft, and again, you're such a liar." She laughed quietly before glancing up at him once more. She examined his face and frowned slightly. "Why don't you open your eyes often...?" She asked, curiously. "I bet they're a beautiful color..." She added softly, for she did not know what his eyes looked like.

((Yeah.. Frogs are cool! *sniffles* I have a pet frog. I had a pet frog in class. My group who had the frog loved him, and we gave him a name. The next day we went to school and he died. Dx I was so sad, then my teacher put him into a test tube and we used to watch it decapitate. It was so nasty.))

"Sure, I'd love to." Shai answered as she looked up at Byakuya. She still couldn't beleive how Byakuya suddenly changed, and was this all because of her telling him how much she loved him?

"I wasn't lying that time, Kin," Gin stated as he looked up at her. "I don't open my eyes 'cuz I don't want to," Gin answered simply. "It's been so long since I opened them, I forgot what color they are." He lied, once again.

"Great!" He exclaimed with a smile before leading her towards one direction. "When I was looking for you, I encountered a small cave like spot. It has crystal clear water, and pretty good sitting boulders." He explained with a small grin on his face.

Blushing slightly, Kin looked away. "Oh, um, thank you...I suppose." She muttered trying to hide a great smile but couldn't do so. She looked up at him as he said he never opened his eyes for so long. "...Well, should I force them to? It's sad to forget about your own eye color." She noted, going on her tip-toes and reaching her hands out to his face. She placed them on both sides of his head and did her best to try open his eye lids.

He noted before pointing at a small cove surrounded with light cool grey rocks. "Let's hurry, before the sun sets already." He exclaimed before making his way quickly towards the cove.

Kin blinked at the simple possibility. Resting her arms on his shoulders, she blushed slightly seeing how close they were. "Alright then. May I pleeeease see your possible beautiful eyes?" She asked with the slight flutter of her eyes and grinned slightly.

Kin grew wide-eyed as she stared into his eyes. A dark color of red, almost resembling blood. She blinked, and pulled herself closer to see his eyes. "Amazing..." She breathed staring into his eyes almost hypnotically. "Why do you always close your eyes?" She asked tilting her head, just realizing that she was nearly hugging him.

Gin chuckled at Kin's reaction. "I guess it's just a habbit," he answered. Not knowing the answer to that question, though he wondered himself. He kept his eyes closed since he was a child. "Do my eyes amaze you?" he asked with a grin.

Doing her best not to smile, Kin looked away. "Hn, I've seen better." She teased with a small laugh before pulling away from him. Though she did regret doing so as she didn't want to be away from him. "Um, so. What should we do now?" She asked, looking up to see orange-pinkish skies.

((Yeah!! Red rules!! xD ROFL Wow, that does rhyme...I never even realized it. xD!!! But yeah, we need to put some action into it. Gin and Kin, that's easy. They get caught by the others. Byakuya and Shai...it gets stormy and they find the haunted hut xD or house whatever. xD!!))

Byakuya grinned slightly and scratched his head. "Thanks, you are too." He replied not quite knowing what to say. Looking up to the sky, he smiled but blinked seeing a few clouds in the distant. "Hopefully those don't come near us..." He muttered frowning slightly.

Grinning, Kin immediately tugged at Gin and jumped down the tree they were on. Of course, they landed safely. "C'mon!" She continued to grin, before looking around. She had suddenly forgot which way to go. '...Aww crap.' She thought to herself with a light scowl.

((XD! Lol, I just realized it when I typed it. I was like..Wait a minute..THAT RHYMES! HA.HA.HA! x3 Those idea's sound good to me! ^^))

Shai rolled her eyes playfully, but frowned as she saw the storm clouds in the distance. "I hope so," Shai responded. "I-i hate storms!" she exclaimed.

Gin smiled, dusting himself off as he landed on the ground. "Don't tell me Kin had forgotten the way to the beach." he exclaimed.

"Well, since the sun's already set, do you want to go find some shelter?" He asked with an assuring smile. "I wouldn't want you to get scared or anything." He added with a small smile.

Glaring at him slightly at the corner of her eyes, she simply laughed and shook her head. "Of course not...ehm, it's this way." She said pointing in one direction. Smiling to reassure him, she pulled onto his arm, and held it warmly like a clinging girl to his boyfriend. Of course, she simply wanted to pretend...she knew he'd never like her in the special way.

Shai smiled softly and wrapped her arms around Byakuya. "Yeah, if that's okay with you.."

Gin smiled down at Kin as she clinged onto his arm. Of course he had feelings for her, but he was to stubborn to show them. If Aizen had ever figured that out, he would be in a lot of trouble.

"No problem." He simply stated before sliding down the boulder and helping Shai down as well. "I don't believe you saw any shelter when we were coming did you?" He asked glancing to the forest, seeing that it turned pitch dark from the time changing to night.

Rangiku sighed. "Aww, where are they? It's getting laaaate..." She muttered to herself, but made it loud enough for everyone to hear her.
Kira shrugged. He was more worried about his captain. It had been the whole day since he had saw her. "No one has seen Kin-taichou yet, have they?" He asked with a slight frown.
Everyone basically shook their heads in unison. It was a time to relax, not worry...or so they thought.

Kin smiled up at him. "C'mon! I think I can hear the beach!" She exclaimed, but didn't realize that what she had heard was more or less the chattering of the divisions. Uh-oh...

Shai thought for a second, and nodded. "Yeah, I think I saw a small hut not to far from here." she stated.

Gin frowned, hearing the chatter of the other divisions. "Oh? Is this a trap of some kind Kin?" he asked.

Nodding, Byakuya performed a small flame in his palm, but not one that would strike. Simply one that would help them through the darkness. "Do you remember the way?" He asked raising his hand around the shadowy abyss.

Kira watched as the others basically went on with their own on going conversation. He sighed, but blinked as he felt a recognizable reiatsu. "It couldn't be..." He muttered, before telling the others to quiet down. Could it have just been his imagination...?

"What? What do you mean?" Kin asked, wondering what he meant by a trap. She hadn't realized the other divisions chattering and continued to lead him towards them, oblivious and beginning to worry. He frowned...that isn't good... She thought to herself scowling lightly.

Shai bit her lip, "Not exactly." she said softly, as she clinged onto Byakuya's arm.

"Hmm.." Gin muttered, wondering if she was faking it. She probably wasn't. "Do you not here other people talking?" he asked.

Sighing, Byakuya shrugged. "Oh well, we'll find somehow." He muttered before feeling the wind suddenly pick up. He glanced up to the skies, before leading them through thick brush and branches of the forest.

"What is it Kira?" Rangiku whispered, seeing as how he still wanted everyone to remain silent.
"Don't you feel that reiatsu?" He asked in return, and that's when the others suddenly began to feel it as well.
"Everyone, split up and find him at once." Hitsugaya hissed as he finally spoke up, and quickly to haste.

Kin blinked. "Other people?" She asked confused. Straining her ears, she heard nothing but silence. "Umm...not really..." She muttered smiling slightly. "Maybe you're hallucinating...?" She asked with a small grin.

Shai squeaked, getting more afraid by the moment. She held on tighter to Byakuya and searched around for the hut she had spotted earlier.

Gin struck Kin a serious look, that being very rare. He wasn't kidding, not at all. "A captain who does not sense the other Reiatsu that well should not be captain. Kin, I think I should take my leave."

Byakuya glanced down at her as she felt her clutch tighten. Looking around once more, he noted a rather eerie kind of hut amongst the shadows. "Is that it?" He asked her, looking from her to the hut. It sure did look creepy. Was it really safe spot for shelter...?

Kin immediately flinched. Why the sudden attitude change? That was the question until she really did feel their reiatsu, and cracking of twigs. "G-Gin...I...I didn't know! I swear!" She cried softly, making it into a slight whisper. How was she suppose to know? Her mind only concentrated on him. She really was such a hopeless idiot. His words slightly struck her. But she needed to ignore them for now. "Gin, please, please don't leave." She whispered urgently, holding onto his arm and clenching them worriedly.

"There near!" Kira's voice echoed through the forest. He could feel them. His current captain, and the former one as well. Why was he there though? What purpose did he have? Gritting his teeth, he continued to run ahead feeling closer to them as ever.

Shai nodded. "That's it.." Shai said softly. The hut was a bit creepy, okay- very creepy.

"I have to leave, Kin." Gin said as he patted her on the head. "I will be back, possibly tomorrow. I promise." he exclaimed as he pryed Kin off of his arm. "I must go now, their near." he stated. Now feeling Kira's Reiatsu.

"Quite...interesting." He commented, completely at a loss of words wondering what to say about the hut. Pulling her gently and opening the door, he peered in curiously, with the small flame in his hand as a light. He flinched seeing a snake slither out quickly but was thankful that it didn't hiss at them, or shoot poison.

Kin grew wide-eyed. How was she so sure that he was telling the truth. "Gin, please..." She started, but bit her lip. Was she so sure about what she was going to ask...? Shaking her head she immediately exclaimed, "Take me with you!" Her voice was desperate as she bit her lip and did her best to hold back tears.

Skidding to a stop, Kira couldn't believe his ears. It was his captain, actually saying that aloud. "Kin-taichou..." He whispered, before taking one more flash step and appearing near them. "Ichimaru..." He breathed, not quite sure what to feel. He had afterall betray his own loyalty towards him. What else was he suppose to feel. Pulling out his zanpakuto he prepared himself if something were to happen.

Shai squeaked, and quickly moved behind Byakuya in fear of the snake. "S-should we really go in there? What if it's filled with bugs...And..and snakes?" she asked.

Gin glanced at Izuru, then back at Kin. "I can't," he said. He was slightly angry for Kin's stupidity, though he couldn't really blame her. It was Kin after all. He stepped back from her, and vanished. He couldn't bare to stay longer.

Byakuya didn't quite know the answer to that sort of question either. But as a few drops of rain began to fall on him, he sighed and had no choice. "Sadly, yes." He answered quietly before pulling her closer to him. "Don't worry though, I'll protect you." He promised with a warm smile before creating a bigger red flame to view the hut better. 'At least it seems convenient...' He thought to himself with a slight shrug.

A chunk of Kin's heart nearly vanished as she watched Gin disappear. "Why...Why!?!?" She yelled before falling onto her knees, and suddenly feeling the tears return to her eyes once more. As the rain began to pour, the rain fell onto Kin almost as if pitying her with tears.

Watching his own captain fall to tears, Kira clenched at his zanpakuto before putting it away. He was gone, and he knew of her strong feelings for her. Sighing, he walked to her and gently patted her back. "I'm sorry Kin-taichou..." He whispered hoping to help calm her.

Shai smiled softly, feeling a bit more relaxed. "Thank you, Byakuya." she said softly. She wrapped her arms around Byakuya and walked inside the hut with him.


Gin was now far off the island, he didn't even want to be there anymore. He felt horrible, and sick in the stomach for having to leave Kin. That sly smile that had always been on his face, was no longer there.

"It's my duty after all." He replied softly with a small chuckle. Looking into the hut he scowled as he saw roaches crawling along the roof. "Definitely not my idea of 'home'..." He commented with a grimace. Brushing a spot away, he did his best to clean it so they would have some place to at least sit during the rain. "Here you go." He murmured before motioning for her to sit, with a warm smile.

((How should the hut be haunted? I'm still trying to figure that. xD))

Still crying her heart out, she shook Kira away. "Just...Just leave me alone already!" She cried out feeling pained enough already. She didn't want anymore pity from anyone. Running away once more, she wanted to find that cave. That cave seemed to have made her better so why not make her better once more? Splashing through now mud puddles, she felt as the rain simply continued to pour on.

Kira watched as she ran off and frowned. "Kin-ta-" He started but felt as a hand was on his shoulders.
"Let her go, Kira..." Rangiku whispered, watching as she ran off as well. She was able to hear what had happened from the distance, but knew very well she needed time. And lots of it. "Let's go back to camp. Just...don't tell anyone of you know what..." She explained with a weak smile before nearly dragging him as she kept an arm around his shoulder and walked away.

Shai shivered a bit and sat down, pulling Byakuya down next to her. She smiled a bit at him and snuggled close to him for warmth.

((They could see shadowy figures pass by and stuff, like spirits? Then either one could complain of feeling there hair being tugged at or something. I dunno. Ghosts. Traps. xD))

((Hmm, that would work...how about a mini hollow? xD Little spirit turned to a mini hollow?...ROFL Attack of the miniature hollows! xD!!!))

Smiling down at her, Byakuya shot a small byakurai at an upcoming snake. He scowled as it slithered away quickly before it was able to get shot. "Damn." He cursed to himself but shrugged seeing as how it was at least gone now.

Finally arriving to the cave, Kin nearly collasped onto face first onto the rocky floor. "Why am I so pathetic!?" She cried into the cave letting streams of tears fall from her face. She continuously began to pound the floor with a fist, hoping it would help cease her tears somehow, but sadly no. It did not.

((Yeah! and Shai get's hurt..Or Byakuya. It could be a poisoned spirit hollow who died from getting bitten by a poisonous snake. XD))

Shai shook her head slightly at his cursings, but shrugged it off. She closed her eyes, and tried to ingore the sudden erupt of thunder that had greatly startled her.

((Ooo! That sounds interesting!! How about Shai, since it'd hurt Byakuya since he'd probably think she'll die like Hisana! And I love the spirit. xD))

Placing an arm around Shai, he kissed the top of her head caringly, seeing as how the thunder slightly frightened her. He twitched slightly as a strange feeling came over him. It wasn't quite a reiatsu...but a hollow? How could there have been a hollow on such a small island such as this? He thought but shook his head. It was possibly his imagination. However, it never stopped him from glancing here and there.

Shai smiled softly and listen to Byakuya's steady heart beat, as she tried to ignore the storm. She felt so relaxed, and safe when she was around Byakuya. But she couldn't help but feel the same feeling as Byakuya, Is there a hollow here? Shai wondered.

Still keeping a protective arm around Shai, Byakuya blinked as a sudden force came from behind his head. Making him ricochet across to the other side of the hut, amazingly not breaking it as well. "What the-" He started but grew wide-eyed as he turned his head to see a small girl with a broken chain attached to her heart.
"Mommy...? Where's mommy?" She asked with a few sniffles here and there.
Byakuya continued to stare at her shocked. She couldn't have just blasted him across to the other side with just mere spiritual energy, could she?

Shai, who had move away from the spot she was sitting in stared at the young girl. She felt bad, but knew if this girl just blasted Byakuya cross the room, she wasn't the one to mess with.

"Tell me where mommy is!" The little girl continued to cry, before burying her face into her hands.
Byakuya, still watching with confusion, glanced to see if Shai was still alright. He sighed with relief seeing that she was fine and moved to her. "What do you believe we should do?" He asked eyeing the small girl suspiciously.

Shai looked up at Byakuya, then back at the little girl. Guess it's time to use the motherly skills..She thought as she slowly walked towards the girl.
"Sweetie," she spoke softly, and soothingly hoping to help seize the girls crying. She stopped infront of the girl and looked down at her. "Your mommy's gone, She isn't here." she whispered. It was clear that her mother was dead, who would be able to survive in a place like this?

Blinking at Shai, the small girl clenched her hands into fists. "No...NO! Mommy's still alive! You're lying!!" She shrieked, but soon screamed and fell to the floor on her knees. A small hollow mask appearing over her face, and her body soon being engulfed by darkness.
Byakuya quickly grabbed Shai and ran out of the hut immediately. Stopping at the front of the hut, and in the rain no less, he stared as the hut seemed to crumble. "Are you okay Shai?" He asked quickly before watching the hut disappear and in it's place stood a small hollow with a body of a thick snake. The red eyes stared at them madly before hissing loudly.

Shai stared at the hut with sad eyes.
"Im not lying.." she whispered as she looked up at Byakuya. "I-im fine..Really, I am. Im just..Worried about the girl." she said softly as she looked towards the glaring red eyes.

Looking at Shai with saddened eyes, Byakuya looked to the hollow but quickly moved pulling Shai with him, as the hollow through strange acid like poison at them. He stared at the spot that the snake-like hollow spat at and grew wide-eyed seeing that it burned a hole through the ground. Quickling preparing himself with Senbonzakura. "Still...we can't let her continue on with this rampage." He explained before watching as the hollow howled up towards the sky.

((That stinks. We have this long-term sub for my Language arts class. That guy is a demon. He's scary looking, and a total b!tch. He wont let you use the bathroom even if its an emergency. You have to ask him like 20 times and say: "Can I go to the bathroom now? Geez, I'll go piss in the sink!" xD Of course, I dont say that.))

Shai bit her lip and nodded. She went to pull out Supaiku, but realized it wasn't at her side. She began to panic, Supaiku? Where are you? she wondered.

Watching as the hollow swished it's tale at them, Byakuya quickly blocked it with his sword. "Shai? What's wrong?" He asked before pushing the tail away and dodging it's acid attack.

Byakuya looked at her with shock, across his face. "What?" He asked before being hit across his back with the tail of the hollow. He flew towards a tree and grunted as he fell onto his back. "Dammit..." He hissed under his breath before glaring at the hollow who was ready to spit acid towards Shai menacingly. "Shai!!!" He yelled worriedly.

Shai stared up at the hollow in horror, she tried to move. But her knees were locked in place. "Byakuya!" she cried out, "I-i cant move!"

Taking the moment to take advantage, the hollow immediately spat it's acid at Shai. Laughing loudly and maniacally in the process.
Growing wide-eyed, Byakuya quickly performed flash step, but was slightly too late to block the acid. He did manage to swat it away, but it being a liquid, it simply went in half letting it partly hit Shai and partly hitting himself. It burned terribly, making himself hiss.

Shai cried out in pain. The acid had managed to hit some of her face, neck and a bit of her arm. "Byakuya, I-it hurts!" she cried out. Imediatley growing weak, she fell to her knees and blacked out.

Staring at Shai, he quickly ran to her, and immediately yelled, "Shai? Shai!!!" She seemed to have blacked out. Gritting his teeth, he wasn't going to lose another one. Rage filling his blood, he quickly hissed, "Scatter..." With that, he watched as his zanpakuto glow a cherry blossom pink and closed his eyes. Letting the blade scatter into flower petals. "Return to where you belong..." He added trying to keep his rage calmer before letting the petals engulf around the hollow. Course, it didn't surrender quite easily and quickly slashed it's tail in different directions.

Shai laid there, the acid stinging at her face. In her mind, she hoped there would be no permanet scars of any sort of damage.

Getting tired that this hollow wouldn't just go away easily Byakuya quickly flashstepped towards the Hollow and immediately slashed down his zanpakuto. Hitting it right between the mask, he frowned slightly as it screamed and began to disappear slowly. He sighed before quickly making his way towards Shai as fast as he could. The acid did quite burn his face, but it didn't hurt as bad as his heart would be if Shai wouldn't make it. "Shai! Can you hear me? Please! Stay with me!" He yelled gritting his teeth as well.

Shai moved around slightly, and whispered Byakuya's name. She groaned in pain, and moved to the side a bit. Even being knocked out, the pain from the acid was still unbarable.

Seeing that she was still concious, Byakuya immediately carried her forgetting the pain that he was feeling on his cheek. "Shai, keep saying my name...tell me that you're still alive." He gently said before moving through the forest and headed for the beach. '4th squad...they'll heal her far more quicker than I will...' He thought to himself before continuing his way towards the beach. Feeling the sand against his feet, he quickly flashstepped towards the direction where the others would be. His energy slowing down by each second. He panted heavily before collasping to his knees. "Shai...please stay with me..." He said softly, trying to hold back his tears of desperation.

"Byaku.." Shai whispered once more. She tried to open her eyes, but they were sealed shut.

Hanatarou, being ordered to venture out since the possible sighting of Gin Ichimaru, had been lost. "Um, anyone?" He called out but blinked as he noticed Byakuya kneeling in the sand. Seeing a limp figure in his arms, he quickly rushed over and asked, "Are you ok, Byakuya-taichou??"
"Just help her..." Byakuya managed to reply seeing that Hanatarou happened to come up to him. What luck. At least he was a member of the 4th Division.
Nodding, Hanatarou helped lay down Shai on the floor, before placing out his hands over her. Seperating them to let a shield like structure form over her, he began to healing process.

As Hanatarou began healing her, Shai suddenly felt alot lighter and in less pain. Her eyes fluttered open slightly, but stayed shut. She was exhausted, and probably was going to stay asleep after awhile even if she was healed.

Byakuya held Shai's hand as Hanatarou healed her. He stared down at her and sighed quietly. "I'm sorry I couldn't protect you Shai..." He whispered before holding her hand tighter. 'Just please don't leave me...'
Being quiet, Hanatarou glanced up at Byakuya then to Shai. 'Wow, never knew Byakuya-taichou had such a soft side.' He thought to himself before finishing up the healing process. "She should be well now. She just needs rest, so her body will accept the healing." He explained and watched as Byakuya nodded. Seeing that he wanted to be alone with her, he got up and moved away to let them be together for the remainder of the night.

((Yeahh..Since this past week, all my dreams were about Pyramid head and weird stuff. Luckily, Pyramid was nice to me in my dreams and stalked me and killed anyone who got in my way! ^-^..xD))

Shai gripped Byakuya's hand slightly, but it loosend as she relaxed him her sleep.

Byakuya, feeling his own eyes slightly close themselves, he sighed and laid down in the sand facing her. 'At least...she's well...' He thought before drifting to sleep.

Shai muttered something in her sleep and moved around a bit in her sleep, moving closer to Byakuya.

Waking up to blinding sun, Byakuya found himself staring down to Shai and him holding her close to him. He blinked before blushing slightly. He soon realized that they must've moved in her sleep. Sighing, he whispered, "Shai...?" He asked softly stroking her hair gently.

In the cave, Kin woke up, her face feeling dry from stained tears. She curled herself into a ball and glanced around her area. 'He's not coming back...he always did lie to me...' She thought to herself, only making her heart sink deeper. She glanced around, wondering where her zanpakuto was. Maybe it would come to good use to her soon enough.

"Not now, honey," Shai muttered in herself as she snuggled her head into Byakuya's chest.

Blinking at her actions, Byakuya smiled softly. Seeing as how she wanted to continue to sleep, he let her and continued to stroke her hair.

Finding her blade just a few feet away, Kin wearily made her way towards it and snatched it closer. Leaning her back against the rock wall, she panted quietly to herself, holding her blade in front of her. "I've done stupider things before...but at least this'll beat 'em all..." She muttered before trying to push to blade into her but couldn't force herself to do so. "Dammit...why...why can't I do it..." She whispered to herself clutching her hands so tightly on the blade that her hand began to bleed slightly.

Shai's eyes then opened, and she blinked and looked up at Byakuya. She then blushed, seeing how she was in his arms.

Byakuya smiled slightly as he saw her blush. "Good morning, Shai-chan." He greeted with a sweet smile before kissing her slightly on the forehead.

Breathing deeply one more time, Kin raised her blade once more. "Alright...I'll do it one more time...I-I can do it..." She choked on her words before watching her hands shake madly. Lunging her sword, she glanced down seeing that she missed slightly. She did manage to cut her chest slightly, but with her shaky hands, she missed by a long shot to her heart. Wincing and crying she tilted her head back letting the tears fall down once more.
