Serenity Hatake woke up and she rubbed her eyes. Her silver hair was all over her head and she really looked like someone who just rolled out of bed. After showering and getting dressed she walked out of her house and began walking around.

Finally bored, Serenity rested on a hot roof, staring up at the sky. Her headband reflected the sun above and the sun's rays warmed her body. She placed a hand on her neck and she touched the locket her love, Sasuke Uchiha, (let's say he's older okay?:D) had given her before he went away. She sighed heavily and she stared at sky more.

"Sasuke....come home.." she whispered.

Serenity looked over to see the person she was thinking about next to her. She jumped up and she almost lost her balance. Once she regained her balanced, she looked at Sasuke, surprise written all over her face.

Kira tied it around her wrist to hide the intwined scorpion and dragon tattoo on her inner wrist, the slashed Suna sign (I dunno what else to call it) shining brightly. 'Only the Hokage knows...'

As Kira neared the forest, she became less and less angry...and more and more nervous. 'I can do it...I hope.......' She continued running at break-neck speed, soon reaching her destination.

Kira finally found the clearing and stood, panting for breath, next to the old tree. 'At least I didn't chicken out...' She smiled, proud of herself, until she heard a voice...his voice.

"What are you doing here?" Itachi asked in his smooth tone. Kira's body went rigid as she replied.

"N-Nothing..." She stuttered quietly, trying to regain her composure. Suddenly, he was right behind her.

"Why did you leave?" He inquired quietly, his breath tickling her ear.

"I don't know...." She said nervously. She closed her eyes and gulped softly.

"Look at me." Itachi said, standing back a bit. Kira did nothing. "I said, look at me." He turned her around and stared at her, studying every feature. She looked a bit to the side, trying not to meet his eyes. Itachi smirked and grabbed her chin, forcing her to look at him. Kira looked into his black eyes, his piercing stare paralyzing her.

Flash Back Thingy

Kira walked around the Akatsuki hideout, trying to memorize the many pathways. She had been there a few months already and she still had trouble finding her way around. "Having trouble?" Itachi asked, smirking as usual. Kira growled and replied.

"Nope." He looked at her, doubt clearly on his face.

"If you say so." He stated in his 'I'm so high-and-mighty-and-you're-not' tone of voice as he turned to leave. Kira's eyes narrowed.

"Pompous jerk..." She muttered, turning to walk the other way.

"What did you say?" Itachi asked, right behind her. It was Kira's turn to smirk. She turned around to face him.

"I said, 'Pompous jerk'." Right after she had said that, Kisame walked over, a stupid grin on his fishy-face ((lol)). Itachi merely quirked an eyebrow and replied.

"And why do you say that?"

"Because the way you're acting. Duh." Kisame looked at her in surprise, shocked that she would say something like that to the Itachi. Itachi smiled a bit, his eyes turning black, a strange change from their usual red.

"Well, I'm just going to have to work on that." His eyes returned to their red hue and he turned back around, walking away. Kisame's jaw dropped as he looked from Itachi to Kira, perplexed. He shook his head and ran after him, confusion on his face. Kira just shrugged and went on her way.

The next day, a newbie tried to talk back to Itachi like Kira had done. He was killed instantly by Itachi, confusing Kira immensly...

End Flash Back Thingy.

Kira gulped again, Itachi's onyx eyes still focused on her. It was as if he were looking in her, through her even. She blinked a bit, trying to rid her mind of her thoughts. Her stomach was in knots. Just as Itachi was about to say something else, his head jerked to the side. He closed his eyes, returning them to the crimson colored Mangekyo (sp?) Sharingan. Itachi leaned down close to her ear and whispered, "I'll be seeing you." then disappeared.

Kira's breath came out in a whoosh as she released a breath she hadn't even known she had been holding. She fell to her knees and put her hand to her heart, trying to calm herself down. She closed her eyes and leaned back against the tree. Itachi, who had been watching from a nearby tree, smiled and leapt away. Kira sighed and opened her eyes. 'How is it only he can do that???....'
