my mother's kitchen was just re-designed.
the floor is cheker board style so are the walls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
I thought i was going to puke everywhere since the squares made me feel sick

Well, like my kitchen, or my mom's kitchen considering I'm not old enough to move out yet, ( which sux, i want out of there soooo badly) has white pop-corn style ceiling.
So, when i was younger, you know those little stinky, flink hand things? Well, i flung it up and it hit the ceiling, and when i pulled it back down, half the pop-corny stuff came off with it.
Ah, but sadly my mother jsut put the crap back up.
We have that crap ceiling and pale, tiled flooring.
