Saito grumbled under his breath as he fixed his tie before picking up his bag. Time for school again. IT was monday after all.

Miki humed as she pulled on her socks and her shoes before standing, "By Mom! By papa!" she waved to a picture that sat on a table by her front door.

Kenji growled and picked up his school bag. Stupid 'father' transfered him to a new school, where the rat of all people would be going.

Ookami tucked a lock of her black hair behind her ear. She looked in the mirror before leaving her apartment. She slipped a picture of her parents in her pocket before heading out the door.

Ookami skipped a little down the street. She was happy, her birthday was in two days.

Kenji walked out of his and his 'father's' house. The man he called dad, wasn't his real dad. This man adopted him after his mother died.

Ookami walked onto the school grounds and towards her locker.

Ookami ran to her neighbours. She unlocked the door and almost got tackled by a German Shepard. She pet the dog and put his leash on. She walked him outside before going back inside with the dog.

Saito yawned, quiet bored now.

SAito listened quietly to her like he did last time.

Miki nodded "i was up all night studying."

"Whats wrong?" he asked.

Ookami turned around.
"Sorry," she said, "it just reminds me of something that happened."

Miki pointed, "the forest green house is my house."

Ookami wiped her eyes again and looked at her watch.
"Sorry, but I have to go now," she said, "work starts soon and I really don't want to be late."

Kenji nodded. The place looked nice enough.

Miki smiled and opened her door.

Ookami bowed to him before grabbing her bag and running out of the class.

"Im back." she said to the empty room.

Saito nodded and finsihed up.

Ookami rused towards her work, almost tripping three times.

Saito packed up then yawned.

Ookami made her way to work, only one cut on herself.

"Its fine." she smiled now and pulled off her shoes. "they died in a car crash."

saito headed on home...though was hungry.

"how long ago was it, if you don't mind me asking," Kenji asked taking his shoes off.

Ookami quickly changed into her work uniform. She work night shifts at a cafe.

"About three years ago." she said putting her stuff up."Make yourself at home."

'Thats right, the 'dog' wants me to grab a few things on the way home..' Saito thought.

Kenji nodded his head and sat down on a couch.

Ookami dashed about the cafe. It was always busy at this time for some reason.

Miki sat down next to him, "Alright. book.." she picked it up.

Saito entered a small cafe that had recently opened.

"Right," Kenji said digging out his math textbook.

"Just take a seat," Ookami said hearing the door open, "I'll be right with you."

Saito shrughed and sat down not really knowing who it was.

Miki smiled, "Alright turned to chapter 16."

"Hurry up Ookami," her boss shouted from the kitchen,loud enough for everyone to hear him.
"I'm hurrying!" Ookami yelled back.

Kenji flipped open his textbook to chapter 16.

Saito blinked, "ookami?" he said to himself, he shrughed and yawned.

Miki began teaching him the basics and how to do it.

Ookami came up to Saito's table.
"What can I get for you today?" she asked.

Miki nodded, "Alright try it."

Saito glanced up at her, "I want white cake with chocolate frosting from my uncle and i would just like water for me."

Kenji got out a peice of paper and started on the question.

"Right away," Ookami said.
She hadn't noticed that it was Saito yet, so she rushed off to get his order.

Miki watched him. "Thirsty?"

"Yeah," Kenji said as he finished the question.

Ookami ran behind the counter and got the cake. She slowled down when the crowd inside the cafe started to thin out. She took her time getting the water before returning to his table.

"Alright." miki jumped up and went to the kitchen.

Saito waited quietly.

Kenji leaned back in the couch.

Ookami came back and placed the thingson the table.
"Anything else?" she asked.

Miki walked back, "Here." she then triped and the water spilt all over him. "I'm sorry!" she pulled out a towel and began to dry him off.

Ookami looked at him and saw that it was Saito.
"Ah! Sohma-kun," she said smiling.

"I got it," Kenji said taking the towel.

Miki took his hand and pulledh im off the couch quietly, se didn't want to ruin the couch.

Kenji somehow kept himself from bumping into her and turning into a cat.

Miki quickly dried off the couch and smiled a but upset, "Sorry. I didn't mean to."

Miki sighed, "Im sosstupid." he said to herself.

Kenji looked into his bag and sighed. The only extra shirt was his muscle shirt, guess he'd have to wear it.

"Hate to chat and run," Ookami said, "but I have to get back to work."

Miki sighed, "I would understand if he just suddenly up and ran away, i would too.." she said as she scrubed the couch to help it dry.

Kenji came out of the bathroom. He was now wearing a pair of jeans and his muscle shirt.

Miki was still mumbling to herself, "I mean who wouldn't? every body does. "she grumbled not noticing him.

Saito smiled softly then grabed his things, leaveing a nice tip. She needed money, he had it. He left.

Miki jumped, then relaxed when she relized it was just Kenji. "Oh okay." she smiled and picked up her stuff. "hold on."

Ookami walked over to Saito's table and picked up the tip that he left before wiping the table.

SAito rubed the back of his head and entered his home. "Back." Shigi ran in, "Have my cake?!" he asked.

Miki sat infront of him, "Alright. Next question."

Kenji read over the question and started to work it out.

Miki watched him silently. She was lbushing lightly though, due to what he was wearing.

Saito sighed and yawned.

Ookami finished work early. She was glad the cafe wasn't open long, but it didn't pay good money, plus you got to keep the tips.

Ookami picked out some little cakes and put the money for them on the counter before leaving.

Saito sat down and looked over the news paper.

Ookami stood up and brushed the dirt off her knees before walking towards her place.

Ookami sighed as she walked inside her place. She closed the door behind her and went to the kitchen, getting ready to cook all night.

He set the paper down, "well, this is boreing.."

Miki nodded, "Yeah." she smiled. "What woudl you like to eat?"

Ookami started cooking. A pan was placed on the oven with a little bit on oil.

Saito stood, "Hungry..."he walked to the kitchen.

Kenji leaned back on the couch, thinking.

Ookami walked over to the pan and the oil spat. It touched her skin, which made her yelp. She looked at her arm before turning the burner off. She ran her hand under the water and looked at her arm again.

Saito looked aorund, nothing to eat...

"How about chicken, or fish?" Kenji asked.

Ookami sighed as she grabbed her jacket. Her arm would have to be checked out, the burn looked bad.

Miki nodded, "sounds good!" she said, "hm.."

Ookami grabbed her jacket and headed out the door. She wrapped her arm in a t-shirt before heading towards the hospital.

"Anything I can do?" Kenji asked.

"sure." she stood, "Grabed the fish out of the refiragerator and unwrap about 4."

Saito sighe, "Shigi needs to learn how to cook.."

Ookami slowly walked to the hospital, her arm burning and stinging.

Ookami held her arm and walked towards the hospital. She saw it in her sights and sighed in content.

"Here," Kenji said handing her the fish.

"thanks." she then put the fish on the pan and put it in the oven, now cooking it.

Saito walked in, ordered food to go, then left.

Ookami walked into the ER. She spoke to a nurse, who got her in right away to see a doctor about her arm.

"Hm...get out anything else you would like me to cook along with the fis." she said.

Saito yawned and began eating french fries on the way home.

Ookami got her arm wrapped and she thanks the doctor before leaving.

Saito yawned, until some birds took a fry right out of his hand, "HEY!" he growled.

Ookami decided to walk through the park. She wasn't planning on cooking again tonight, so she'd take her time.

"I can get it out for you," Kenji said.

Saito then chased the bird, he was wondering though, why would he chase a bird after its touched a fry? He wouldn't wnat to eat it, maybe he just wnated to show it a lesson.

Miki nodded, "yeah! that'd help." she then turned around and hit the olive oil knocking it down, she didn't notice, so when she took a step, she sliped forword and fell right on top of Kenji.

"Oh no," Kenji said before he turned into a cat.

Miki's eyes grew wide, she stared at the cat in her arms. "What...the.." she set him down, Stood up, and walked out of the room, triping on the way. She walked back. "Yup, not a dream." she stared at him more. "O_O"

SAito narrowed his eyes, "Keep the fry." he spat once he gave up.

"What am I going to do now," he muttered.

Ookami laughed slightly when she heared him. She turn and head back towards her house.

Saito blinked when he heard a giggle. he turned around, "oh! Hey Miss Ookami." he said.

Miki crouched down to him, "How...did...you...what?"

Saito ran up to catch up with her. "what are you doing out here?"

"Wehn we turn back," Kenji said, "we have no clothes on."

"Ouch. how'd you do that?" He asked her.

"turn back? no cloths?" she asked. She was completely confused now.

"Was cooking and oil spit and got my skin." Ookami said.

"I turn back into a human," Kenji said, "and when I turn back I have no clothes."

"ouch." he repeated. "you okay?"

Miki blinked, "but why did you change to begin with?"

"It's a long story," Kenji said.

Miki's eyes rolled to the back of her head, until she caught herself from passing out. She sighed.

Miki fainted, this was all getting to much.

Kenji quickly put his clothes on.

"Hurry," Kenji said from the kitchen, "the food, it might be burning!"

saito followed behind her, "why here?" he asked.

"You were helping me with my math," he said, "you were getting ready to make us supper and you just fell asleep."

"You'll see," Ookami said heading towards two stones.
