"Mari..." Toby snarled warningly as the girl bustled about, a smile on her face. He was obviously one of the last vampires, pale as a ghost, classical. His 'sister' was different- she had red hair, pale cheeks, but they had a rosy glow as she dashed this way and that hectically.

In this roleplay, Vampires, while they dislike the sun and cannot spend time in direct sunlight, do just fine when exposed for short amounts of time. They are immune to many things that humans would die from. Also, half breeds are possible!)

As the carrige pulled up, Mari raced downstairs. Her red hair was trailing down her back, heavy and flying.

"Welcome!" Seh greeted the young woman exiting the carrige. toby watched this, not wanting to be seen with MArissa. She bugged him, with her aditude of happiness and cheer.

"HI!" Reeve greeted, smiling brightly as she put her bags down.

"Welcome to york house, I'm so glad you came! my brother will be down at some point, but he tends to be rather offish. I'm Marissa- call me MAri, if you want." She chattered, taking the bags. "I'll show you your room, dinner will be ready soon.

"Welcome to york house, I'm so glad you came! my brother will be down at some point, but he tends to be rather offish. I'm Marissa- call me MAri, if you want." She chattered, taking the bags. "I'll show you your room, dinner will be ready soon.

"Ok!" Reeve said, smiling brightly still. She was a rambler herself at times.

Mari laughed, and led Reeve up the stairs. "Feel free to poke around, just don't go into the two rooms with black doors." She said wth a smile. "I'll be back- I think I hear another carraige!" She raced downstairs.

Toby emerged, giong to the parlor.

Reeve nodded, then went on a tour.

Aidan sighed, coming out of the carrage with his hood up.

[Elly]

He was greeted by a young woman who was not identifiable as either human or vampire. "WElcome!" She said happily, smiling as she took his luggage from the coachman, and as the coach lft. "You must be sir Aiden, correct?"

[~Haruka~]

Aidan blinked. "You're too happy," he deadpaned, going inside. "Hello, Toby," he told, smirking softly.

[Elly]

Toby nodded. "I'll put this in your rom." Mari called, putting his bags down, and then running to the kitchen before the food burnt.

"Welcome. Pardon Marissa. She is..." he rolled his eyes. "Overexcited about having guests. She gets lonely."

[~Haruka~]

Aidan smirked. "I can tell." he assured.

Reeve walked around, observing the area.

[Elly]

The sound of Marissa's voice drifted through the house, singing a song that none of them couldhave ever heard.

toby chuckled. "You will enjoy your stay." He said, standing.

[~Haruka~]

Reeve looked out a vent. Smiling, she watched Toby and the boy for a bit.

Aidan just nodded. "I'm sure, with 'sunshine' there," he said, motioning to Marissa's voice. "It'll be hell," he stated.

[Elly]

"She will calm down, in a few days." He said. She is just glad to have people around who arn't me." He said, smiling fondly.

Marissa stopped singing, still stirring the stew.

[~Haruka~]

The vent creeked and Reeve blinked. "Awww shi-AHHHHHH!!" she screamed, falling. Aidan cought her, blinking. "Sooorry!" she said, rubbing the back of her head.

[Elly]

Toby laughed. "That's the fourth time this week!" He said, apparently people fell through the vent all the time.

Marissa appeared, curious. "Dinner is ready- are ou okay?" She asked Reeve, obviously concerned.

[~Haruka~]

Reeve got down, Aidan staring at her. "Yeah! I'm fine!" Reeve giggled. "Need help?" she asked, literally skipping over to Mari.

Aidan kept staring at Reeve, unbelieving.

[Elly]

"no.. everything is on the table, I'm just calling you for dinner." Marissa curtsied.

"Marissa, someday you will have to hire a cook." Toby said.

"no.... Then I wouldn't be able to cook." She said.

Toby rolled his eyes and led them towards the dining room.

[~Haruka~]

Aidan pushed off the thoughts and went into the kitchen. Reeve sat at the table, smiling brightly.

[Elly]

Marissa served each of them, then herself, and sat.

Toby ate very little. They each drank out of opaque goblets.

Mari ate quietly, smiling.

[~Haruka~]

Reeve and Aidan ate silently too. Reeve didnt mind the quiet, but Aidan thought it was uncomfortable.

[Elly]

"Who wants dessert?" Marissa asked, standing.

" What is it?"

"Chocolate pudding..."

"I'll have some." Toby said.

Marissa looked to Reeve and Aiden. They looked similar, to her eyes.

[~Haruka~]

"I dont like choclate, but thank you for the offer," Reeve told, smiling. "I'll have some," Aidan told.

[Elly]

Marissa brought it out, and a slace of carrot cake for Reeve.

She set each of thiers down, smiling, and ate quietly. Once she was done she rose again and went into the kitchen to wash the dishes.

Reeve gave Mari a bright smile in thanks.

Aidan gave her his bowel in the kitchen with a small smile of thanks.

[Elly]

"Thankyou." She said, going to wash it. She had her hair up in a horsetail, scrubbing at pots and pans.

Toby ate slowly, relishing the taste. he liked chocolate, oddly.

He finished his drink and stood, going to leave.

[~Haruka~]

Reeve was taking another tour, looking around. She tilted her head at the two black doors she was told not to go in. Wonder what's in there.... she thought but pushed it off as she skipped past them.

[Elly]

Marissa washed her dishes, wishing she had some help as she cleared the table and washed things. BUt toby wouldn't do so, and she felt bad aobut asking guests.

((The black doors are the toby and Marissa's rooms.)

Aidan rolled his sleeves up and helped with the dishes.

Reeve looked over the fifth floor railing. "Woooooow look at that view!" she said like a child.

[Elly]

Marissa looked up at him, and smiled. "Thanks." She said, then tackled a large pan she had used for the chicken.

[~Haruka~]

Aidan just nodded.

Reeve looked down from the final floor- the eight floor- and gasped like a kid. "Woooow." she said, smiling.

[Elly]

toby heard, as he was up there. He chuckled. "Good view, isn't it."

Mari finished, and handed it to him to dry, finisheing the dishes with a smile. "Would you like a bath, before you go to bed? I can heat the water..."

[~Haruka~]

"Ladies first," Aidan denied.

"Yeah!" Reeve told, smiling brightly.

[Elly]

"Oh.. I'll go ask miss Reeve then." She said, smiling and then dashing off to do so.

"i'm glad you like it. I"m toby, as my sister told you."

[~Haruka~]

Reeve smiled. "I'm Reeve," she told, smiling at him now.

[Elly]

A very out of breath Marissa intruded. "Would either.... of you.. like a bath.... this evening?"

She said, looking at them curiously.

"No, no bath for me tonight." Toby said.

[~Haruka~]

"Sure!" Reeve said, smiling.

Aidan was next to Toby in a second as Reeve went down the steps. "I have a problem with that human, Toby," he told.

[Elly]

"Reeve?" Toby said, as Marissa got Reeve's bath ready.

[~Haruka~]

"Is there another human in the house?" Aidan asked, giving Toby a LOOK.

[Elly]

"I'm actually not certain. Marissa is both human and vampiric. It's very odd- sometimes she drinks blood, sometimes not. And she definately dislikes sun. But I cannot ascertain her humanity or her vampiricism."

Marissa left Revee to her bath, sitting at the kitchen table.

[~Haruka~]

"I think she's my sister," Aidan said, cutting to the chase.

Reeve relaxed in the water with a soft smile.

[Elly]

"Reevee? Then talk to her." He said, unfazed. "Why are you bringing it up to me?"

[~Haruka~]

"Toby, I abandoned her! I'm a vampire!" he protested.

[Elly]

"She'll figure it out, soon enough. YOu two look alike." Toby said. "Vampires and humans can get along- and who knows. She might appreciate knowing you do exist, that she has family."

MArissa fell asleep at the table, exausted from working all day.

[~Haruka~]

"She has amnesia thank God," he mumbled.

[Elly]

Toby laughed. "I'll make you a deal. If you tell Revee you are her brother, I will tell Marissa she is my daughter."

((I know.. couldn't resist....))

[~Haruka~]

"Awww hell no! I'm not telling Reeve; she's better off!" Aidan denied immediatly.

[Elly]

"Aidon." Toby looked at him severely. "If you don't, I will."

[~Haruka~]

"Somehow," Aidan deadpaned. "I knew it was a mistake coming to you for suggestions."

[Elly]

Toby chuckled. "Aiden... I promise. She'll find out- Marissa..." He shook his head. "She will notcies at some point. Or find out."

[~Haruka~]

"When she does, I'll bribe her!" Aidan mumbled.

[Elly]

"She's not easily bribed- unles she falls for you." Toby laughed, then went to go downstairs.

Marissa woke, yawning.

"Miss, have you finished with your bath?" seh asked Revee, curious.

[~Haruka~]

Reeve opened the door, in a bathrobe. "You dont have to call me 'miss', we're friends, arent we? Lets stick to 'Reeve'," she told, then skipped out of the bathroom. She waved at the two boys on the floors above then skipped to her bags, digging out new clothes.

[Elly]

MArissa heated some more water, then began to look for Aiden.

"Monsignor Aiden, your bath is ready!" She said,looking for him.

[~Haruka~]

Aidan walked past her. "You can have it, I'm taking a walk, madamoiselle," he told, walking out the door.

[Elly]

"Oh.." She said, curtsying. She went to bathe, reveling in being clean.

Toby sat upstairs, smiling.

[~Haruka~]

Reeve blinked. She wondered if she did something, but then again, she couldnt have done anything.

[Elly]

"Evening." Toby's voice said, near where she stood in the hall.

Marissa was soon bathed and dressed, and she set about tidying things and putting the bread in to bake for the next day, draining the water and taking care of other things.

[~Haruka~]

Reeve blushed. "G-good evening," she bid.

[Elly]

He smiled. "I'm glasd you enjoy the mansion so much- and I'm hnoping you and Mari get along. She needs a friend." he chuckled." Of course, first I'll have to convince her she needn't do so much!"

Marissa yawned as she stood, getting up and drying, then pulling on one of her nightgowns before braiding her hair.

Reeve relaxed, smiling. "Yeah, I'm sure we'll get along!" she told, smiling.

[Elly]

He smiled. "I'm glad."

Marissa couldn't loch the doors until Aiden was back, so she set down her candle and started to read, curled up in a small chair where she could see the only way in.

[~Haruka~]

Reeve bowed lightly, then skipped up to her room.

[Elly]

Toby went to bed, going to his room and falling asleep.

Marissa waited up for Aidon, reading and slowl nodding off. Seh was withen view of the door, exausted looking.

Aidan came in a few hours later. He shut the door softly and locked it, then carried Marissa up to her room after blowing out the candle.

[Elly]

She cuddled up against his chest in her sleep, murmurring slightly.

[~Haruka~]

Aidan fought off his blush as he layed her down and covered her up. He shut the door and went to check on his sister. She was asleep as well. He covered her up properly and shut her door as well.

[Elly]

Marissa's room had looked odd, for someone like her. It wasn't as neat as the rest of the manor, with books on shelves tha lined the walls. She was happy there, curled up in a small bed that was meant for a child, though she was the size of a woman, now


((THE NEXT MORNING))

Marissa was up with the dawn, making bread. She hummed s she worked, making a breakfast as well.

toby slept late.

[~Haruka~]

Reeve woke about a half hour after Mari did. She stumbled down in the halter top and skirt.

[Elly]

Mari was wearing a simple pair of jeans, and a well worn t-shirt. She was humming as she cleaned, off in her own world.

[~Haruka~]

Reeve gently tapped her with a bright smile. Once you actually got Reeve out of bed, she woke quickly. It was getting Reeve out of bed that was the hastle.

[Elly]

Marissa yelped. "Oh, good morning!" She said, smiling.

[~Haruka~]

Reeve smiled. "Need help?" she asked, smiling.

[Elly]

"no, I'mused to it." Merissa said.

[~Haruka~]

"I'm helping anyway," Reeve informed, smiling brightly.

[Elly]

"Um... canyou mix the pancake batter?" She said.

She was in the middle of scrambling eggs.

[~Haruka~]

Reeve smiled, mixing the batter like she was asked.

[Elly]

Marissa was singing softly to herself as she cooked, red hair sitll in a messy braid.

[~Haruka~]

Reeve had her hair in a messy bun.

[Elly]

Marissa's singing drifted upstairs.

toby was still asleep.

Marissa remembered being carried upstairs, and it couldn'thave been toby or Reeve. So she knew it was Aiden.

Reeve hummed softly, mixing the batter and dancing to her own tune.

[Elly]

Marissa was singing along, dancing aroudn as she scrambled the eggs in her way, which was to whisk them otgether in a bowl, then fry them.

Reeve giggled, baking several things at once, including tost.

[Elly]

Marrissa finished the eggs, making them calmly, then then working on a dozen other things. "I'll be right back- I ned to milk Bella and KAra." She scampered outside, carrying two pails.

Reeve cooked the pancakes.

[Elly]

Marissa soon came in with two large buckets of milk. She set them down, ten put them in the icebox after putting a block of ice in.

She was smiling, this was normal.

"Need some help?" She called, going to set the table.

[~Haruka~]

"NO! I'm alright," she told, smiling.

[Elly]

"kay!" She replied. She came in again, smiling. "I'm gonna go wake up the guys- I'll be right down!" She then ran up the stairs, hair already springing from her ponytaill.

Toby mumbled as he rolled over.

[~Haruka~]

"And I'm gonna stop you why?" Reeve asked herself with a soft smile.

[Elly]

Marissa dashed into Toby's room. She always woke him up by glomping him- it drove him batty.

"MOORRNING!" She jumped on him, laughing.

"Go awya..." Toby said, grumbling.

Marissa laughed. "Nooo, time to get up! I need to go wake aiden, talk to you later!!! Bedownstairs in five minutes!"

She went to Aiden's room and knocked on the door.

[~Haruka~]

Aidan opened the door, already up and at 'em. His suit was on, his hair was in the normal, what humans' called the 'emo' hair, and he looked alright. "Yes?" he asked.

[Elly]

"Um... it's.. um... breakfast time." Marissa blushed. he was.. so... cute....

"Yeah, so if you'll be downstairs soon breakfast will be ready!" She ran down the stairs, blushing horribly.

[~Haruka~]

Aidan rose an eyebrow. "Odd girl," he mumbled.

Reeve watched Mari run into the kitchen, her face red. "A-are you ok?" she asked, blinking.

[Elly]

"I'm fine! She said. Aiden.. so cute... Her heart was pounding. A minute later, Toby came downstairs.

"Hello there ladies." He bowed.

[~Haruka~]

Reeve bowed back as Aidan walked in. Reeve bowed to him as well.

[Elly]

Marissa curtsied. "Breakfast is on the table- you three go sit!" She shooed them like chickens, going to grab some of the platters she had put food on and put them on the table.

[~Haruka~]

Reeve giggled, putting the pancakes down on the table.

[Elly]

Marissa put other things down, getting them all milk. Once again, heavy goblets- Toby's was unseeable, as was Aiden's. She had noticed his vampire-ness last night.

She herself sat, drinking the now chilled milk.

[~Haruka~]

Aidan nodded his thanks as Reeve sat down, staying away from the pancakes.

[Elly]

Marissa served evryone, herslef last.

toby as usual ate little, sitting and watching them all.

Marissa ate as well, thinking about the chores she needed to get done.

[~Haruka~]

Reeve picked at her food more than ate it.

Aidan only drank some- not eating. He wasnt hungry.

[Elly]

MArissa smiled at Reeve. "Eat- you need the fuel. YOu are faaar to skinny." She said.

She stood, finished. She collected the boy's plates, going to wash things.

[~Haruka~]

"I'm not that skinny!" Reeve protested. "You're way to skinny," Aidan stated flatly. Reeve gave him A LOOK. "Who asked you?!" she asked.

[Elly]

"We do." Toby said. "All of us."


Marissa washed dishes, smiling.

[~Haruka~]

Reeve took a bite. "There, happy?" she mumbled.

[Elly]

"Not till you clear your plate!" Marissa called.

"You heard her." Toby chuckled. "Marissa... is stubborn." He said cheerfully.

Marissa washed dishes with a will, humming.

[~Haruka~]

Reeve ate with a stiff posture. She didnt touch the pancakes, though. "There, NOW are you happy?!" she mumbled.

[Elly]

"Yes! Marissa came in and clared away the eimpty plates, smiling, and taking the cups as well.

"Yep.. So, how did you two sleep?"

[~Haruka~]

Reeve sat there, being a bit of a poor sport, but smiling anyways.

[Elly]

Marissa wass inging as she washed.

Toby chuckled. "I'm sorry- its just that if she thinks you are too skiny you get 'the lectuer." He said, making a face. "It sucks."

Reeve rolled her eyes. "I'm guessing you got it," she observed.

[Elly]

"Twenty times." he said, making a face that was priceless.

Marissa came in, finished with the dishes. She was cleaning the room, as they spoke.

"Cause you were scrawnier than her!" She cut in, glaring at him.

[~Haruka~]

Reeve giggled, Aidan just watching everything.

[Elly]

Marissa and Toby didn't look related, unless you counted the slight resemblance in features. Otherwise.. Marissa looked human.

toby... not so much.

"What do you want to do today?" Marissa asked the two. "I mean, there is the village if you want to do things, and I could teach you to ride horses- that would be wonderous, I'll bet!" She smiled. "Of course, you could hike, or do any of a number of any things." She added.

[~Haruka~]

Reeve blinked. What did she want to do?

Aidan just blinked as well. "I think I'll go turn myself nocturnal again," he stated, going back up to his room.

[Elly]

"OH NO YOU DON'T!" Marissa said, grabbing his wrist before she thought about it. then she blushed.

"YOu.. are going... to do something and keep daylight hours!" She said, though she had to fight not to stutter.

[~Haruka~]

Aidan sighed. "Anything the lady of the house requests," he told, going back and sitting next to Reeve. He had to keep himself from staring at the girl again. She grew up so fast..

[Elly]

Marissa blushed slightly. "I know- I'll teach you how to ride. And toby, yes, you have to help." She said as Toby opened his mouth.

"I"ll ready the horses- meed me in the courtyard, please. And if you arn't there..." The threat dangled.

Knowing her, it would be a bad thing.

She went outside to ready the horses, smiling.

[~Haruka~]

"Think we can run for it?" Reeve questioned Toby as soon as Marissa was out of earshot.

[Elly]

"No. She'll hunt all three of us down. We need to change up." He said, standing to go outside.

Marissa smiled at the stableboy, who was leaving after cleaning things. She then began to ready the horses, smiling widely.

[~Haruka~]

Reeve wined slightly then went up to her room, pulling some black, airy pants on. She pulled her black/red hair up, showing off some of the tattoo that the halter top showed on her back. She came back down in that, getting her shoes on.

Aidan just pulled on a similar pants on and an unformal tee-shirt.

[Elly]

Marissa had changed in the stable, into the clothes she normally wore for working with horses. She still wore her jeans, but also a tank top that wasn't as baggy as usual.

she looked very pretty, red hair in a ponytail. She led the four horses out, making shhing noises. They seemed to like her a lot.

toby changed into simply jeans and an ancient shirt, one that was patched and worn. He wasn't so good at riding.

Marissa was soon waiting in the courtyard.

[~Haruka~]

Reeve was... ok. She went out to the courtyard, immediatly falling in love with a black horse that seemed to fall for her as well. She gently started petting his/her snout and the horse didnt seem to mind.

Aidan came out behind her, just watching.

[Elly]

The roan, a sweet little mare, followed marissa around. toby appeared, going to the black gelding next to Reeve's horse.

"This is Tom." She said, leading over Aiden't horse. It was a bay, that began to investigate Aidan imediately.

[~Haruka~]

Aidan petted the horse.

Reeve giggled at hers.

[Elly]

"C"mon- does everyone know how to mount up?"

toby wordlessly swung up into his saddle.

[~Haruka~]

Reeve swung onto hers as well, smiling.

Aidan wordlessly {and emotionlessly} got on his.

[Elly]

Mrissa mounted up, and began to trot. The other horses fell in behind hers.

Toby was at the end of the line. Soon they reached a large field.

"Who wants to try to gallop?" Marissa asked.

[~Haruka~]

Reeve already knew how to ride, but she followed rulles. She clicked her tongue and her horse galloped, her smiling all the way. She waved behind her and Aidan followed.

[Elly]

Toby tried, and fell off the horse.

Marissa laughed, trotting over. She watched as he got on.

"Hold on with your legs Toby, honestly!" She said.

[~Haruka~]

Reeve trotted over as well, holding Toby on his horse. "Here," she told, giggling still. She tapped his legs. "Keep your legs tight here," she told, then tapped his hands. "Dont let go," she advised, still smiling.

[Elly]

He amde a face. "Hehe.." he got on, blushing.

Marissa laughed. "Honestly." She then frowned, tilting her head.

"I'll be right back- I hear something." She kicked her horse gently, laying low on the neck, her saddleless state obvious. She rode like she was a cenutaur.

[~Haruka~]

"You men," Reeve said, laughing through the words. She trotted around, just having fun.

Aidan just sat there.

[Elly]

Soon she was back in sight. A girl, around six, clung to her waist. She was riging like hell, away from a group of men.

"Toby, another!"

toby cursed, as Marissa tossed him the girl and turned the horse.

"Giv' us back or fun, ay?" Said the leader, obviously drunk.

"no, she's just a child!" Marissa snapped.

"Then why don't you come with us." Said another, stopping his horse next to her.

"No!" She snapped. Then she yelped as he reached out, his blacksmith's frame overwhelming her own small one. She fought him, biting, as her horse shied away.

Aidan grabbed the blacksmith guy, ripping him off of Marissa, holding his neck tightly. The man was dangling in the air, held up by one of his hands. "Keep. Your. Hands. Off. Of. Her." he stated in his iciest tone.

While that was going on, Reeve checked on the girl.

[Elly]

Marissa landed in the mud, dropped, she stood, as the man's friends started to grow angry. Her green eyes started to become blue as her temper began to rage.

"*****.." The man chocked out, glaring at Marissa.

The girl was afraid and cold, otherwise fine.

toby was a little awkward, looking ater her.

Marissa could sense the anger of Aidan, and the men.

She tried to push the calm she could find outwards, and it worked on some. but the smith ws still struggling angrly.

[~Haruka~]

"You're not getting down; the more you struggle, the tighter I hold," Aidan stated coldly, tightening his grip.

Reeve rubbed her back, watching the scene.

[Elly]

The man stopped, angry. He glared, though he was still.

Marissa had her fists clenched. A couple of the ones who were able to ignore her projections stepped foward- she reached into a special pocked.

A knife glamed in her hand.

Tobyknew better than to interfere.

[~Haruka~]

Adian threw the man into the friends able to ignore the peace, all of them knocking back. "Get out of here," he demanded, never lifting his cold glare at them.

[Elly]

They obeyed. Aidan.... was scary. Marissa wasn't.

She had a bruise on her neck from the man grabbing her, and another on her arm.

Her teeth were clenched- her canines were a littlelonger than average,but shorter than a vampires. "Damnit.. that's the third time this month." She swung up on her horse abruptly, eyes still a dangerous blue. She kicked her horse gently, and the two galloped towards the manor.

Marissa didn't want them to see her cry.

Toby sighed. "We need to take this one back to the village. I'll go- do either of you want to come? Or do you want to stay here?"

[~Haruka~]

"I'll go," Reeve voluntered while Aidan rode after Marissa.

[Elly]

"Thanks." toby mounted up and picked the girl up. She held onto him.

"Nuncle toby, they were mean!" She said.

"I know. That's why Mari took care of them."

"Mari is awesome! I wanna be just like her when I'm big."

"Mm." Toby smiled as he started to ride, careful.

[~Haruka~]

Reeve rode next to them, silently.

[Elly]

"Who are you?" Asked the little girl, smiling at Reeve.

Marissa got back and dismounted. She was close to tears as she cleand up her horse, currying and brushing her. she ended up doing the things the boy couldn't, crying as she worked, trying to distract herself.

[~Haruka~]

Reeve binked. "No one special," she told.

Aidan hugged her, gently petting her hair.

[Elly]

Marissa was a little freaked out, then simply cried into his chest, shaking with sobs. She hated, honestly, the village men. They were cruel to all women, not jus her- but she ws the one thay were the most obviously cruel to.

"Oh. You're pretty!"

[~Haruka~]

"Thank you, sweetie," Reeve told, smiling brightly.

Aidan rubbed her back.

[Elly]

Marissa finally managed to stop crying. But she didn't want to move, not really. She toko deep breathes, feeling embarrassed slightly.

"Yay! Mari and you are sisters." The girl giggld as they arrived in the village.

the men wern't back, and the girl's mother smiled.

"Thank youtoby.." She took the girl from him. "Where is Marissa? Normally she is the one.."


"today's encounter was worse than usual."

"Oh... I'll send up some fruit tonight." Said the woman,s miling.

Aidan just continued to rub her back.

Reeve watched the scene, smiling lightly. "Reeve," she told the little girl. "My name is Reeve,"

[Elly]

"Yay!" the little girl held up her arms for a hug. her mother held her up, chuckling.

the girl huggd reeve tightly.

Marissa finally moved to pull away. "I'm sorry.." She whispered, sorry for breaking down and getting his shirt all wet.

[~Haruka~]

Reeve hugged her back. "And what's your name?" she asked, holding the girl on the horse. Kids always were attracted (like a magnet) to her. Why? Who knew.

Aidan hugged her to him again. "Its alright," he comforted.

[Elly]

She hugged him back. "I hate them.."

"I'm Kassie!" Said the little girl, smiling. "ARe you one of the visitor people? YOu're nicer than the last girl. She was wierd. And she made Mari sad!" She said that like it was ther worst thing ever.

[~Haruka~]

"No!" Reeve said, sounding shocked. She pouted. "How could she make Mari cry?" Reeve asked, trying not to smile.

"I'll protect you," Aidan offered, hating to see people cry.

[Elly]

"She hitted her. And then she said something mammy won't let me say. And then she insulted all the ladies here. And Mari got mad mad. And then she was sad for weeks and weeks!"

Marissa shook her head. "That's normal.. I'm just normally intelilgent enough to draw the knife before I go stop them.." She said softly. "Someday I'll get them to stop.. but till then I can just stop them at the moment I hear them."

[~Haruka~]

Reeve looked shocked. If she had been in Mari's position (girl or not) she would have decked her! "Awww, poor Mari!" Reeve wined, sounding sad.

Aidan smirked. "Keep up the nice attitude," he rooted.

[Elly]

She sighed. "Oh well..s oemday.." She aid. Her eyes were fading back to green again.

"Yeah... Mama said she was showing us not to use violence." The girl sounded it out. "I still wana be like her!"

[~Haruka~]

"Rah, rah, rah!" Reeve told, pretending to wave pompoms around with a bright smile.

Aidan smiled but, just as quickly as it came, it went.

[Elly]

The girl giggled.

Toby was watching with a smile.

Marissa blinked. "I'm sorry, by the way, that you had to reveal yourself.. they'll forget. But." She flushed. "I'm sorry for troubling you."

[~Haruka~]

"Dont worry about it," Aidan assured.

Reeve giggled, ruffling the girls hair.

[Elly]

She hugged Reeve, giggling and smilling.

Marissa shrugged. "This is supposed to be a retreat, not more toruble." She said. She reached for the pitchfork she had been holding, intending to fork down more hay.

"Eh. Entertainment," Aidan pointed out, shrugging with a small smile.

Reeve hugged her back, giggling herself.

[Elly]

The mother smiled. "Little one, we need to get home."

"Okay! By miss Reeve, see you soon!" Thel ittle girl ws lifted down by her mother, and the two started to walk away.

"now they'll be after you!" The protest came from where she was forking down hay.

Reeve waved back, smiling.

"I care... why?" Aidan asked.

[Elly]

"They can get worse than you- AEEP! -think!" She squeaked as she tumbled over in the hay.

"Want to head back up?" Toby asked.

[~Haruka~]

"Sure," Reeve said, smiling.

Aidan lenaned over her. "Said the girl with a pitchfork and hay in her hair," he teased.

[Elly]

She stuck her tounge out. "They can, I've dealt with them for years!"

Toby turned his horse carefully, chuckling. "The village womena nd children are sweet."

[~Haruka~]

"I've noticed," Reeve assured, smiling. She kept up with him since he wasnt very good, she noticed.

Aidan rose an eyebrow. "I'm sure."

[Elly]

"I have- since.." She frowned. "Well, I dunno."She shrugged. "I do know I need to finish the chores around the manor though..." She bit her lip, thinking about what she neded to do.

[~Haruka~]

"Excuses, excuses," Aidan scolded, pulling her up.

[Elly]

"I do though, I mean.." She said, flushing slightly. She looked much more real, more alive, then she had wearing a dress. Mor elike herself.

"so, how do you think you will like staying here?" Toby asked Reeve.

[~Haruka~]

"I think I'll never wanna leave!" Reeve admitted, smiling brightly.

Aidan threw the pitchfork over his shouler {missing any horses} and dragged her out. "Excuses, excuses," he repeated.

[Elly]

She yelped, trotting after him. "Where are we going?" She asked innocently.

He smiled. "I'm glad"

Reeve just smiled more.

"Umm..." she thought for a momnt, not surewhat she wanted to do. She was used to just doing her chores.

Toby chuckled.

"I can teach you to ride," Reeve offered suddenly.

Aidan just took a walk, not minding the sun. For now.

[Elly]

It wasn't very bright- a weak wintery sun. Marissa walked next to him. She was thinking, and listening.

"MArissa has tried. I just.. can't..."

[~Haruka~]

Reeve stopped hers and his horses. Without warning, she slid on behind him. "Here," she told, taking his reigns and handing hers to his. "Now, first off," she said. "Press your legs more against the horse," she instructed.

Aidan was just enjoying his walk with her.

[Elly]

He did, a little nervous.

Marissa found herself humming softly,thinking of one of her few memories of being little.

[~Haruka~]

Reeve took his hands, putting them back on his reigns. "Hold on tightly," she instructed again. Without warning, she moved the reigns with a: "Hya!" and they both took off, Reeve's horse following. Said teenager was behind Toby, grinning. Her hands were still on his, holding them to the rigns.

[Elly]

He flushed slightly, hanging on tightly.

"Aidan?" Came marissa's soft voice.

[~Haruka~]

"Huh?" Aidan asked, looking at her.

Reeve giggled, watching him.

[Elly]

Toby was obviously uncomfortable with the horse.

"... thank you for coming."

[~Haruka~]

"Relax," Reeve told him, taking one hand and shutting his eyes. "Feel the wind and just fly," she told, smiling.

"Welcome," he told, smiling VERY faintly.

[Elly]

Marissa smiled back. She just liked alking- cloud were hiding the sun.

He relaxed some, still afraid.

[~Haruka~]

Azmara giggled at the memory, projecting it to Cassie. Of Azmara tripping down the steps.

[Elly]

Cassie laughed as well. It reminded her of how they met, the memory flooding over on accident.

Reeve, in case he was afraid, let him know she was there.

Aidan thought.

[Elly]

Toby relaxed more, though he was obviously not having much fun.

She smiled, stifling a yawn. She was worn out from getting up so early.

Reeve gently hugged him the best she could, stearing and directing the horse.

Aidan already began walking back.

[Elly]

Marissa trotted next to him, sleepy looking. She still had hay sticking out from her hiar- not as much, but some.

He relaxed some, starting to kind of enjoy it.

Reeve kept her eyes on the 'road'.

Aidan picked her up.

[Elly]

Marissa squeaked, putting her arms around his neck for balance.

Toby finally relaxed enough to have fun, helping steer, some.

[~Haruka~]

Aidan didnt say anything.

Reeve smiled, letting to of his hands.

[Elly]

He was having fun, now that he wasn't so freaked out.

Marissa ddin't either- she relaxed. Before she knew it, she was fast asleep with her head on his chest.

Reeve smiled. She called her horse over and stood up, jumping horses. Reeve leaned forward, going a bit faster. So what if it was a challenge?

Aidan put Mari down in her room and covered her up.

[Elly]

She protested slightly,not wanting him to go away. He was warm, dammit! And a good pillow.. She was, thankfully, tired enough that it wasn't tooo embarrassing.

toby did his best to speed up.

[~Haruka~]

Aidan rolled his eyes and took his shoes and socks off. He layed down next to her, covering himself up as well.

Reeve grinned over at him.

[Elly]

She cuddled up to him, completely asleep.

toby laughed as he rode, smilnig.

Reeve giggled.

Aidan just patted and rubbed her back.

[Elly]

She was so cuddly, and... well..

sweet.

Toby managed to disgrace himself when he stopped- he went flying of the horse into the pile of hay Marissa had forked down.

Reeve almost, literally, fell off of her horse, laughing her guts out. She had tears falling down her face almost immediatly from laughing so hard.

[Elly]

Toby stood, rubbing certain parts. "Owie.."

Reeve officially couldnt breathe, she was laughing so hard.

[Elly]

Marissa was dreaming- dreaming of being small. Of seeing dead people. Being overwhelmed with fear.

Toby looked sullen. "It isn't funny..."

[~Haruka~]

Reeve couldnt answer, she was laughing too hard.

[Elly]

Marissa sat up with a gasp, eyes wide. She breathed deeplyand quickly, a littlef reaked out.

Aidan just rubbed her back, a bit worried but not THAT badly.

Reeve tried to stop, but it wasnt working.

Toby rubbed his rump and sihed. "It isn't that funny.."

Marissa then realized she had fallen asleep on him. And then apparently used him as a pillow...

She went redder than her hair. "I'm sorry!"

Reeve nodded. "So you think!" she said between laughs.

Aidan just smirked.

[Elly]

Marissa was soooo red. "I'm sorry, I didn't meanto.. I mean..."

toby stuck his tounge out, pouting.

Aidan rose an eyebrow.

Reeve finally calmed slightly.

[Elly]

Marissa finally stopped tlaking and just hid her blushing face.

Toby sighed.

Reeve took a breath, her face red.

Aidan smirked.

toby finally wlaked over and clapped a hand over her mouth. This, at least, would make her be quiet.

Mariss a looked at him.

"umm..."

Reeve, being the kid she was, licked his hand.

Aidan gave a 'yeeeeees' face.

Toby squealed and let her go.

"I'ms orry.."

"No prob," Aidan told, shrugging.

Reeve started giggling again.

[Elly]

Marissa was still blushing as she stood up, yawning.

Toby sighed. "C"mon, lets go in...."

Aidan just smirked.

Reeve got off her horse, still giggling like an idiot.

[Elly]

Toby led his into the barn, sighing.

Marissa got up, going to brush her hair.

"Thank you, for not being mad, I mena... I'm not that odd normally..."

"Somehow," Aidan put in. "I have a hard time believing that!" he told, good natured.

Reeve still smiled.

[Elly]

Marissa went redder than her hair again.

Tboy cared for the horses, smiling.

Aidan just smirked.

Reeve took care of her horse, smiling.

Toby finished and sighed. "Wonder where the other two are."

Marissa sighed. "i'm.. just.. gonna... go.... clean the atic." She grabbed a dusting rag and fled, leaving him in the simple room.

Aidan got up and went to his room, falling asleep. He slept alot.

Reeve shrugged.

[Elly]

Marissa dusted, daydreaming.

Toby chuckled. "Want to try and find them?"

"I have a feeling that they're not doing anything interesting." Reeve told, smiling.

[Elly]

"Well yes, but pestering marissa is fun!"

"Awwww, she's your sister!" Reeve scolded, smiling.

[Elly]

"I know, that's why I bug her!" Toby said. "Probably the attic." he grasped reeve's hadn in his chilly one and ran up the stairs, leading her.

Reeve let him drag her.

soon they were in the attic- the sond of Marissa arguing with herself, interspersed with sneezes- was audible.

"I should ask. No, tht would be prying. But I'm so curious! ACHOO! Damn dust..."

Reeve rose an eyebrow.

Toby laughed.

"TOBY!" MArissa cme into view, hands on hips. "What are you doing?"

Reeve pointed at Toby, telling her it was his fault.

Marissa thoughta bout it- then waved the dusters under toby's nose, making him sneeze.

Reeve laughed.

Marissa started sneezing too, hard enough she fell over.

Marissa flushed and chuckled. "Sorr- ACHOO!" SHe snezed agian from the dust they stirred up.

"Ok, out of the attic!" Reeve told, carrying Marissa down the steps.

Toby trailed after.

Marissa sneazed again, and rubbd her now aching nose.

Toby laughed.

"Rest dearie, I'll take care of the attic," Reeve assured.

"But you're a guest!"

"Marissa, will you get over that already?"

"But... but... but...."

"'But' nothing! I'm here for a while, we're family, therefor, I can be a maid," she pointed out, hopping away.

Marissa looked confused. Toru patted her dusty head and went to get some sleep.

Reeve dusted the attic off, smiling all the way.

Aidan was awake, he was just way to comfy to move.

Marissa sighed and went to start dinner.

She dusted herself off and got to work, washing her hand and starting to cook.
