Okay I'm going to give you samples of 2 songs that were written by my band...we could really use your opinion..and don't sugar coat it...i want to hear what you really think.

Hm..The first one seems too..I don't know...I've just heard so many songs like it. Don't be afraid to think outside the box.

The other one, I could have sworn there's another song that opens up just like that one.

They're both good. They could use, a tiny bit of adjusting. Keep working hard.

yes! I love rock *high fives you repeatedly till you get creeped out* i've seen so many people moving towards rap.

The first song--not my favortie, i think you could just adjust the lyrics a tweak and then it would be cool. sometime repetition is a good thing but during the chorus(if you have one, it's hard to tell xD) it should be catchy and uplifiting. Cause that's the part of the song people remember. The second song was soo..delightful and just..mysterious..it was really awesome the type of thing i would listen too ^^. it reminds me of the band Madina lake, it fits them--i'm sure it fits your band too ^^

dont fall victim to the pre assumed layout of a song, get crative with how you word things, try to add some different words for the last of a line if you can
