Ginny hammered on the twins' door angrily. It was the third time she'd called and they still wouldn't wake up. Finally she wrenced the door open and walked in. Ginny walked over to Fred's bed and kicked him in the side. "Get up!" She went and did the same to George.

Fred jerked up in bed. "What did you bloody do that for, Gin?" He rolled out of bed and put on a sweater.

George yelped in pain as he got kicked. "Yeah, what's the big idea, Ginny?"

Ginny rolled her eyes and sighed. "Mum sent me up to wake you two. Breakfast is ready."

The twins smelled the meal and ran past Ginny down the stairs. She shook her head and walked down, taking a seat at the table.

Harry and his girlfriend, Ramen, had just arrived at the Weasley house when they heard Ginny yelling at the twins.

Fred and George ran downstairs and slid into seats at the table as if they had been there the whole time. They instantly started serving themselves cinnamon toast and fresh fruit.

Ginny rolled her eyes and walked down to the kitchen. She heard a knocking at the door and opened it to see Harry and Ramen there. "Hello," she said tiredly. "Mum just finished breakfast." She let them in and sat down. Ginny picked up her wand from the table to put it away, but when she touched it, it transformed into a rubber duck. "Fred, George! That was one of your stinking pranks! Where's my wand?!"

Fred and George roared with laughter. "We put it in your room," Fred said.

Ginny glared at them. "You were in my room?!" But she stopped when Mrs.Weasley scolded her.

Harry pulled out a chair for Ramen and they both sat down.

Ginny looked over at the two. "So, when did you get here?"

Fred and George got knocked over the head by Mrs.Weasley when they started a food fight.

"Just a few minutes ago," Ramen said.

"Yeah. It took us three days," Harry said.

Ginny nodded to herself. "Yeah...I'm sorry you had to hear me screaming at these two idiots." She glared at Fred and George.

Fred looked up bemused. "Who are you calling and idiot?"

George's mouth was full, but he nodded at his twin's statement.

"It's okay. It reminds us of Hogwarts," Harry and Ramen said together.

Ramen looked away from Harry and Harry looked away Ramen and both blushed.

Ginny laughed silently, not wanting to embarass them. "Do you two know when Hermione is getting here?"

Fred finished eating and beckoned to his twin to come with him to their room.

George followed.

"No I'm afraid we don't," Harry said readjusting his glasses.

Ramen watched the twins go up to their room.

Ginny looked away. "Oh well..." Suddenly she heard a knock at the door and answered it. "Speak of the devil, it's Hermione."

Hermione laughed and walked in, setting her trunk down near the door. "Hello Harry, hello Ramen!" She said cheerily. She quickly pulled up her wand from her pocket and put it in again, as if she was checking that it was still there.

"Hey girl what'cha doing?" Ramen asked gettng up to hug Hermione.

Harry only nodded at Ramen's statement, seeing as he was enjoying the food Mrs. Weasley made.

Hermione laughed and hugged Ramen. "Not a lot. When your parents are muggles, summer isn't very exciting." she laughed a little and sat down between Ginny and Ramen. Hermione just noticed Fred and George going upstairs. "What are they doing?" She directed the question towards Ginny.

Ginny shook her head, clearly exsasperated. "They're making plans for their new joke shop. They hope to outsell Zonko's."

Fred yelled from his room. "I heard that!"

Both Harry and Ramen started to laugh.

Hermione burst out laughed and pounded on the table. When she was done, she wiped her eyes and said: "Ah, a day in the life of The Weasley family." This made her and Ginny laugh more.

Ramen and Harry continued to laugh as Harry said, "True True."

Finally Hermione started taking deep breaths and stopped laughing. She looked up. "Thanks a lot Harry, now my ribs hurt."

Ginny stifled a laugh.

Ramen and Harry stopped.

"Anytime Hermione," Harry said.

Hermione chuckled and began to eat her cinnamon toast. She turned to Ginny. "Your mom is a great cook."

Ginny smiled. "Isn't she though?"

Harry and Ramen nodded.

Hermione nodded. When they had finished eating, she turned to the others. "What do you want to do now?"

Ginny shrugged, then an evil smile crept across her face. "Hey, let's go annoy Ron to wake him up!"

Hermione rolled her eyes. "Oh, come off it Ginny. He was up all night, you said so earlier."

Ginny stamped her foot. "Only because he was listening to the radio at 11:00 pm, so I yelled at him!"

Ron layed on his stomach, snoring away.

Ramen smiled slghtly.

Hermione sighed. "Fine, you can poke him, but don't give him lasting injuries." She chuckled.

Ginny smiled and laughed. "Yes, warden." She chuckled and left the room.

Fred and George came down the stairs, laughing to themselves. "Did someone say something about annoying Ron? We're good at that."

Hermione laughed.

Fred nodded in agreement. "No one go to the fourth floor landing. The ghoul in the attic is having a tantrum." They all heard a thump and a drawn-out wail, then George spoke. "Dear Lord, now it's throwing things."

Harry took charge of going up to Ron's with Ginny. Ramen. who wanted to see the house, went with the other two.

Ron was still snoring away.

Fred looked to Ramen. "Just so you know, this house may sway a little. It's about 5o feet tall"

"Thank you for telling me," Ramen said.

Just then, the house felt like it swung to the side, and there was another wail. George gripped the railing. "Okay, that one was the ghoul."

Ginny tiptoed into Ron's room and jabbed him inthe side. then she dashed behind the closet door and sniggered.

Hermione gripped the railing as well, and continued up the stairs to the guest room when it straightened.

Ramen and Harry gripped the railing as the house swung.

Ron got up quickly trying to see who jabbed. He could see no one and went back to sleep.

Ginny grinned at Harry and the time picked up a shoe and chucked it at his back. She ran behind the door and sniggered.

Fred walked up to the third floor landing, where all the rooms were. "Well, this is where we all sleep," he said.

"Mine and Fred's, Ginny's, our parents', Ron's, and the guest room," George said while gesturing to the doorways.

"This is house is amazing!" Ramen sai, looking around.

Harry grinned back at Ginny.

Ron got up again and chucked the shoe back at the door. He waited to see who would come out.

Ginny jumped as the shoe hit the door and she peeked through the crack to see if Ron was awake. He was, so she jumped out and went: "BOO!"

Fred sat down on the bench in the landing. "Yeah, I guess it is."

Ron slid off his bed in horror and screamed like a little girl.

Ramen sat down next to Fred and asked, "Don't you think it is?"

Fred shrugged. "Well, I guess I come to think less of it because I've lived here my whole life."

Ginny roared with laughter at Ron's reaction. "Who did you thik I was? The ghoul?!" She continued laughing until tears came into her eyes. She wiped them away and calmed down, saying "you have to admit that was funny, even if you did scream like a little girl, right?" She looked to Harry, grinning.

Harry grinned and started to laugh. Ron looked widly at his only sister, racking his mind.

"Oh," Ramen said looking towards Fred.

Fred looked at her. "That doesn't mean I don't like it. I just am...used to it."

Ginny laughed. "You should have seen your face!"

"But it's still pretty amazing," Ramen said.

"Shut up Ginny," Ron said, "I'd rather not see my face."

Harry looked at the brother and sister fight.

Fred nodded. "Yeah."

Ginny chuckled. "Yes, you'd rather not be reminded of what a scaredy-cat you are."

"I'm not a scardey cat," Ron said. He crossed his legs indian style and folded his arms.

"It's a beautiful day," Ramen said looking out at the sky.

Ginny laughed. "Says you." She walked from the room and down the stairs.

Harry followed Ginny down the stairs. Ron just glared at his sister and best friend.

Ginny shrugged and continued down the stairs. She turned to Harry. "I really think he's overreacting. I do this every morning."

Ginny laughed and walked down to her room. She went in and closed the door.

Ron came down after a few minutes and saw Harry. Ron quickly turned around to head back upstairs.

Harry said, "Ron stop. You know it was a joke."

Ron continued up the stairs while Harry shook his head.

Ginny flopped down on her bed, tired from that morning.

Luna walked down the stream, looking for "gnargles'.

Ramen continued to stare out the window as she continued to sit down with Fred.

Harry moved onto the kitchen and saw Ramen and Fred together.

Fred got up and walked into his room, keeping the door open only as his twin followed him. He picked up one of the fake wands and chucked it out the door.

Harry walked up to his girlfriend and asked her, "What were you doing and is that a fake wand flying to the ground?"

Ramen just stared at him and said, "We were just talking about the house."

The wand hit the ground with a squeak and turned into a plastic squirrel. George sniggered and Fred elbowed him in the side. He gave him signal and they both peeped through the keyhole.

Luna heard her father call her and she ran inside.

Ginny flopped down on her bed and began reading.

Ramen jumped a little seeing the squirrel and Harry wrapped his arms around her.

Ron jumped in his bed and went back to sleep.

Ginny felt sleepy, but remembering that Ron sometimes tried getting revenge she went over and locked the door before she slept.

Fred looked away for a moment, then he and George sat down on their beds and began disscussing plans for the "Weasley's Wizard Weezes," their joke shop.

Harry sat down on the bench with Ramen.

Fred and George walked out of the room, carrying a huge box of what looked like chocolates. They chuckled to themselves and kept walking.

Ginny sat up and left her room. She went downstairs to the kitchen and snagged a bit of toast from breakfast. Then she sat down on the floor near the others as her mother walked into the room.

Mrs. Weasley came into the room, saying: "You'd all best start getting your things ready; we're going to Diagon Alley tomorrow morning. We'll check in and put our things at the Leaky Cauldron, then go out and get your books and supplies for the new school year." She sighed as she picked up the rubber squirrel. "Then we'll stay until your train comes in three days from now. We'll also be checking out the building where Fred and George's shop will be."

Harry nodded and got up to get his stuff ready.

Ramen hopped up and went upstairs past the Weasley twins amd woke Ron up again.

Ginny dashed up to her room, where she already had her trunk ready. She brought it downstairs and ran back up to her room.

Fred and George brought down their trunks.

Ron grouchily got out of bed and got his things. Ramen went down the stairs again and helped Harry with her things.

Ginny's stomach growled and she stood up. She opened the door and walked down to the kitchen, where Fred and George were already sitting down for lunch. Mrs.Weasley set down three bowls of onion soup for them and turned around to get another tray. She put down a dish of meatloaf and turned to Ginny. "Do you have all your things?"

Ginny rolled her eyes. "Yes mum."

Harry Ron, and Ramen walked in the kitchen and sat down.

Mrs.Weasley smiled at the newcomers and ladled out more soup. she set the bowls down on the table. 0"Did you get your things?"

Ginny rolled her eyes. "Yes, mum. My trunk is over there."

Mrs.Weasley nodded. "Alright. We're leaving tonight."

Fred and George started poking each other with their wands.

Ramen laughed at Fred and George while Harry talked with Ron.

Fred heard Ramen laughing and turned red. He threw his wand across the room and it hit the wall on the other side of the kitchen. As it came into contact with the wall, it turned into a rubber squirrel. George sniggered. Fred turned on him. "You planted one of our fake wands!" George shrugged.

Ginny finished her soup and opened up a Quidditch book.

Ramen looked at the fake squirrel still giggling.

George turned red and went back to eating his soup.

Ramen happily dug into her soup while Harry continued to talk to Ron.

When everyone had brought down their trunks and finished their soup, Mrs. Weasley had everyone get on their traveling cloaks. She stood by the large fireplace, holding her bags and a large tin bowl of some oddly colored powder. She beckoned for everyong to come do the same, then spoke. "Now, we'll be arriving there by Floo powder. I want everyone to remember to speak very, very clearly your destination."

Ginny chuckled and looked over her shoulder. "That means you, Harry."

Hermione faked coughing to disguise her laughter.

Fred and George looked away, doing a very bad job of keeping staight faces.

Harry blushed slightly and nodded. How could he forget the last time he didn't speak clearly in the floo network?

Hermione looked over her shoulder. "We're just poking fun at you, Harry. We know you'll get it right this time."

Ginny nodded in agreement with Hermione, then she stepped up to the fireplace, took her Floo powder, and yelled, "Leaky Cauldron!"

Fred and George both went through, then Hermione.

Harry let Ramen go through after Hermione did and he soon followed.

As soon as everyone was at the Leaky Cauldron, Mrs.Weasley led them up to their rooms.

Ramen and Harry had a bedroom together with Ron. All three of them dropped their things on the ground.

Ginny and Hermione shared a room with Luna, and Fred and George roomed together. They put away their things and walked down for dinner.

Harry, Ron, and Ramen headed downstairs for dinner.

Ginny and Hermione sat at the far end of the table and ordered some soup.

Fred and George began discussing plans for their joke shop.

Raen quietly listened to Fred and George while Ron and Harry talked about Qudditch.

Ginny walked over and sat nearer to everyone else. She turned to Harry. "Are you going to try for seeker again this year?"

George laughed with Fred as they remembered Ron dancing with Professor McGonagall the previous year.

Harry nodded.

Ramen laughed also.

Ginny chuckled a little. "Harry Potter not trying out for Quidditch? I'm pretty sure that would be a sign of the apocalypse."

Harry, Ron, and Ramen all laughed.

Fred and George held back chuckles, saying in unison, "True true, Ginny." They gave one another high fives and went back to eating.

Ginny blushed slightly and began reading her Quidditch book again.

Harry smiled. Whoever was captin would possibly let him on the team.

Ginny smiled slightly "Oliver Wood is still captain I bet he"ll let harry join"

"He got held back again?" Ramen asked.

Ginny rolled her eyes. "Yep. Word is he failed Herbology. Maybe Neville should tutor him." She laughed jovially.

Luna walked downstairs and sat by everyone else. "Good day." She called airily across the table.

Fred and George laughed, grinning as they saw Luna.

Harry shook his head at Ginny.

"Hi Luna," Ramen said, smiling.

Ginny knocked Harry in the side. "C'mon, you know it's true. Wood doesn't breathe unless he's on the team."

Luna smiled at Ramen and sat next to her, her 'gnargle' charm dangling on her neck.

Ramen looked at Luna's 'gnargle' charm and stared at her food. Suddenly she wasn't so hungry.

Harry smiled and said, "So true."

Luna tilted her head curiously at Ramen, her pale blonde hair falling over her shoulder. "Something wrong?" She said softly.

Ginny laughed again. "Indeed."

Fred and George did their best to disguise chuckles.

Ramen shook her head.

"Woods will push us harder this year," Harry said.

Ginny nodded. " 'Course he will. Slytherin got a new captain."

Luna shrugged and put on her spectraspecs.

"Lemme guess Malfoy," Harry said, growling.

Ramen looked over at Fred and George.

Ginny shook her head. "Surprisingly, no. Lucius wasn't able to buy his son a spot on the team this year. It's Goyle. I suppose Malfoy is using him as a puppet."

(I'm putting a twist on the book and movie...)

"God! That idiot," Harry said.

Ginny huffed. "Tell me about it. Crabbe and Goyle don't breathe unless Malfoy says so. I don't see how he calls them 'friends'."

Ramen whispered to Fred and George, "Help me."


Harry laughed.

George tilted his head to the side, and they said in unison, "Help with what?"

Ramen pulled back and scooted away from Luna. The twins were no help.

Ginny laughed as she saw Ramen. "And that's why she's called 'Loony Lovegood'."

Luna smiled at Ginny and went to a window seat.

Fred and George shrugged and began chucking biscuits at one another.

Hermione slapped her forehead and turned to Ron. "Your brothers are hopeless."

"I ignore them half the time now," Ron said, smiling.

Ramen began gulp.

Hermione laughed lightly and drank some of her coffee.

Ginny looked to Ramen. "Something wrong?"

Ramen shook her head.

Ginny nodded to herself. "Okay."

Ramen put her head on the table.

Hermione raised an eyebrow at Ramen, then turnewd back to talk to Ron.

Luna began making another 'gnargle' charm.

Harry watched Luna.

Luna looked up and noticed hHarry, waved, and went back to the charm.

Harry waved back at Luna.

Ginny watched Harry and Luna curiously. She looked away, thinking about something.

Hermione continued talking with Ron.

Fred and George discussed plans for their joke shop, not paying attention to anthing else.

Harry's eyes moved away from Luna and stared into space.

Ramen had fallen asleep.

Ginny sighed and got up, walking up to her room. She sat down on her bed and began reading.

Hermione looked at Ginny and followed her. "I'll be right back," She said to Ron.

Harry picked Ramen up shortly after snapping to reality and seeing her asleep. He carried her upstairs and to their rooms.

Ginny frowned slightly as she saw Harry carrying ramen. She sighed to her self and laid back.

Hermione sat down next to Ginny. "Something wrong?"

Ginny turned away. "No."

Hermione sighed. "Yes, there is."

Ginny shook her head and walked outside the room, sitting down against the wall.

Hermione rolled her eyes and fell asleep.

Harry placed her on the bed and walked to Hermione and Ginny. "She's jealous of Ramen," he said.

Hermione nodded shortly. "That's what I thought. she's sitting outside right now, cooling off."

Ginny took out her book and started reading, hiding her face from the passerby.

Harry shook his head.

Ginny continued reading. She thought about what she had seen and sighed. Harry already had a girlfriend. And it wasn't her.

Hermione sighed. "I don't know why she's so moody sometimes."

"I swear I didn't get her pregnant," Harry said.

[december_dawn]

Hermione gasped in amusement and bopped Harry upside the head. "That's not funny!"

Ginny sighed and stood up. she started walking around Diagon Alley, still thinking.

"But I didn't," Harry groaned.

Hermione rollec her eyes at him. "Men. I know you didn't. You're fifteen!"

Ginny hurriedly said sorry and ran after accidentally bumping into someone.

Harry looked away.

Hermione sighed. "I' m going to get some sleep." she laid down on the bed and pulled up the sheets, falling asleep.

Ginny slowly walked back to her room, yelping as she hit Harry. She turned red. "I-I'm sorry!"

"It's okay Ginny," Harry said smiling.

Ginny smiled weakly back and ran into the room, climbing onto the top bunk of the bed. She took out her book again and laid down on her stomach.

Harry watched Ginny. Things were starting to feel uncomfertable.

Ginny looked up from her book and saw Harry looking at her. She blushed faintly and smiled slightly at him.

"Ginny are you jealous of Ramen?"

Ginny turned red and spoke shakily, "W-what makes you say that?"

Hermione shook her head and went back to sleep, not wanting to see how this would turn out.

Ginny turned away, blushing darker. "N-no. I'm not jealous of her." She turned around on the bed and sat up, her back to him.

Harry shook his head and headed out of the room.

Ginny frowned to herself. Why must she always be so stubborn?

Harry walked to his room and watched Ramen sleep.

Ginny put down her book and put her head against the pillow. Then the hot tears began to flow down her cheeks as ginny let out soft sobs.

Ramen was breathing softly and Harry continued to watch her.

Hermione shook her head and stood up. She went to the bathroom and changed into her nightgown, and then she fell asleep again.

Ginny put down her book and went to sleep.

NEXT DAY...

Ginny woke early and changed into day clothes. She left the Leaky cauldron and took a walk.

Hermione continued sleeping soundly.

Harry found himself sleeping in Ramen's bed. He put on his day clothes and walked out.

Ginny saw Harry and quickly ducked around a corner.

Hermione went downstairs for breakfast.

George and Fred sat at the breakfast table, discussing something.

Harry shook his head and walked downstairs.

Hermione looked at Harry's expression when he came downstairs. "Still upset, is she?"

Fred and George looked up to see what this was about.

"Yeah I think she is," Harry said, yawning.

Hermione shook her head. "For God's sake, she's fourteen years old!"

"I didn't want to have anything to do with this, but it seems like I'm dragged into it," Harry said.

Hermione looked sympathetically at Harry. "I'm sorry. Just leave her alone and I'm sure she'll cool down.'

Ginny reentered the dining room and began feasting on some eggs. Her eyes avoided Harry's.

"Yeah I guess she will," Harry said.

Hermione nodded thoughtfully. "The most she'll do is avoid you and ignore you when you're there. Just ignore her back and everything will go back to normal."

Ginny finished her food and walked upstairs.

"I'm going to check on Ramen," Harry said.

Hermione sighed and went back to eating. "Alright. Be back in time to leave for the station. We leave in half an hour."

Ginny packed up the last of her things and brought her trunk downstairs.

Luna packed her things and brought them to the lobby.

Fred and George went upstairs together and brought down their things.

Harry shook Ramen and she immediatly got up. "Get packed," he said.

Ron, Harry, and Ramen got packed and lugged their things to the lobby.

Ginny, Hermione, Luna, Fred and George walked their things to the car and sat inside.

When the car arrived at King's Cross, Ginny, Hermione, Fred and George exited the car and hauled out their trunks. They walked over and entered Platform 9 3/4.

Ramen started to not feel so good, but she and the two boys dragged their trunks and entered platfor 9 and 3/4.

Ginny, Hermione, Luna, Fred, and George sat on a bench and waited for the clock to toll eleven.

Harry stood next to Ramen, trying to get her to talk as Ron sat by his sister.

The clock rang, and Mrs. Weasley shooed them through to the platform. Ginny got onto the train slowly, glancing back at Harry.
