In the distant future, vampires and humans have joined together and in truce to from the Empire but there are those who would do anything to see it fall. Organizations of vampires and some of humans have formed to bring about the destruction of the Empire.The Crown and Thorn is an the top organization who's main goal is to destroy all humans. The Empire has formed a secret soceity of elite vampires and humans to destroy this organization and others like it.

Personality: Recluse, and nearly cationic. He was recently turned to a vampire, and is rather scarred from the shock. He follows orders obediently, and rarely talks. Since he is "new" vampire, his powers are unknown to him (and everyone one else obviously). In his "previous" life as a human, he was weak, and frail. He is not seen as much threat by any.

Personality: Maura is a feisty one, sure enough. She’s spirited, and strongly devoted to preserving the peace between the two races and the empire they have built. Some say this relates to something in her past, but well, she typically doesn’t talk about it. One thing, though- she’s very aware of the fact that she looks younger than her years, and is rather prickly about it. So don’t make any wisecracks about schoolgirls or anything else to do with her apparent age vs. her real one, or you’ll set off her temper. And yeah, so she likes to wear rather provocative clothes- you want to make something of it?…
Powers: Maura is actually most skilled with blades. Swords in particular, though knives and daggers too. She also has a limited degree of telekinesis, but if she uses it too much it gives her migraines.
