The story all starts where Shinju is walking home from school. It had been another slow day, but even though she was happy to be going on summer vacation, she had no exciting plans for the summer and was NOT looking forward to staying home in dulls-ville. As soon as she thinks of the word dull, it begins to rain.
'This doesn't make sence... there were no rain clouds this morning...'
"woohoo!" Sinju's thoughts are interrupted by someone yelling in the middle of the street.

Not only was he in the middle of the street but he was laying down in the middle of the street. Shinju ran over and started yelling "What the hell do you think your doing, get up." She looked around; there was no sign of any cars or even people for that matter... but then again not very many people lived in this neighborhood. She ran over, grabbed his hands and tried to drag him of the road, but he wouldn't budge.

"What are you?! Mental?!"
"Yeah... so what?" The smell of alchohol was on his breath.
"Oh my loard! You stink!" She yelled at him.
"Hehehehe *hick* Why... thank you." OK, now she was getting irritated.
"Get out of the street! You'll get run over, or something!"
"yeah...*hick* that's the general idea... hehehehe." Sinju rolled her eyes. 'Wow this guy is kinda... peculiar.'
"Hey girlie." He seemed to want to continue the conversation. "i'll get out of the street...IF!..." He stood up and looked down on her while smiling. He pointed to his chaped lips. ' oh god he want me to kiss him' She then looked up at him and replied.
"Ok but first we should get off the road." she grabbed him by his dirty rists and rapidly walked toward the sidewalk. "Ok now close your eyes..." He had a really stupid grin on his smug little face. Sinju leaned forward and... shoved a candy bar in his mouth.
"And you were lucky this time buster! That was the last candy bar i had!" She then turned around and strode away in a hurry.

He stared cross eyed down at the Three Musketeers bar that was shoved in his mouth. He pulled it out, while chewing the peice he had bitten off. "HEY..." he yelled after Shinju, she turned around to find him struting toward her "Yeah what is it?" she asked.
"Umm...uh, I just wanted to say...to say thank you, yes thank you...what'd you say your name was?" he asked.
"Oh, don't worry it was no big deal." she said feeling a little sorry. "My name is Shinju, and should I ask your name, or are you to drunk to remember it?"
"Hehe I do remember, and your poliet to ask!" he was starting to yell now.
"Then what is it? And whats that accent?!" she asked
"I'm Korean, Duh!" he answerd
"Well I don't want to stay in the rain all day so tell me your name so I can leave!" He looked at himself realizing he was drenched.
"Uh...oh yeah My name is...uh...Tatsuo yeah my name's Tatsuo." He repilied eargerly.

"Okay...? well ummm Tatsuo?"
"*hick* yeah... Sin-sin...Shin...? Shinju!" He said as he put on that rediculous grin.
'Wow... this guy is really chocked up about remembering my name...' She felt like laughing. "Hehe um... yeah i have to go, so try not to commit suicide anytime soon okay?" She turned and started walking away.
"ummm.... OK! i'll try... yeah, bye!" he turned around, he still had that candy bar in his hand, so he shoved the rest in his mouth.

"kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!"

Tatsuo spun around quickly and ran towards Shinju. She had just slipped into a puddle and slid accross the sidewalk. "You... You OKAY?" she was laying on the pavement... unconsious. Tatsuo was suddenly in a panic! He was not compleatly sober and still underage to have been drinking, so the hospital was not an option. He didn't know what else to do, so he caried her to his appartment.

Shinju awoke to the smell of waffles; she followed the sent into another section of the unfamiliar building. 'Where the hell am I?! I should see if anyone is around here...maybe I can get answers.'
"Mmmm WAFFLES! That’s why I love you Kangin!" Tatsuo screamed as he ran past into what seemed to be a kitchen. '...*sweat drop*' Shinju's mind was blank with utter confusion. Shinju looked over at the guy near the stove that Tatsuo was clinging tightly to.
"Oh Yeah almost forgot you were hear, are you feeling better?" Tatsuo asked.
"What am I doing here?'" Shinju asked.
Tatsuo looked down at his feet "Um don't worry I didn't do anything...like violate you or anything." Tatsou said. "Oh yeah, you slipped and hit your head so I took you here to my apartment. This is my roommate Kangin." Tatsou said patting Kangin on the shoulder.

Shinju's eyes popped at the metioning of him violating her. Tatsuo saw this and quickly said, "Ak! Don't freak out or anything! You can go home anytime you want!" He paused, thinking of how she could get home. Then that ever reliable lightbulb turned on in his head.
"Kangin has a car!" He exclaimed with a grin. Kangin rolled rolled his eyes. 'Wow Tatsuo, your briliant...'
"No Tatsuo," Kangin said. "My car was impounded yesterday remember? You parked it in a fire lane." Kangin rolled his eyes then turned back to his pancakes.
Shinju gave out a small giggle. "No it's fine." She said, "I can walk home...i think. How far out of town are we?" She looked out the the grimy window onto the unfamilliar street.
