"They are real, I tell ya!" He shouted, his long black hair flying around violently as he shook his head. His dark eyes showed he was completely serious, yet all he got was laughter. The male sighed, shaking his head. "Take your break," he mumbled to a boy standing at a cash register, "I'll take over for a while."
The male was Daichi Akira. Once an infamous buisness man, he was now only a cashier at a local convenience store. And he was lucky he even had that job. After all, he was now infamous for being the town....No STATE nutcase. He sees demons, spirits and everything else people don't. He's cursed wih the belief these creatures are real, and with the fact only children listen to his words of wisdom.

She held her legs to her chest, staring at the demon that stared right back. Every single night, the creature would appear right before bed time and terrorize her. She was only five, yet she knew the demons had an intention to kill. they just had to figure out how to, without arising suspicion from the adults. This one, though, was different. Bolder. Without a word, it grinned and showed it large, bloody fangs. Seconds later, a scream erupted from the girl and she was dead.


"Goodbye, demon," Daichi growled as he removed a single sword from a sheath on his back. Wordlessly, he killed it. This was his nighttime hobby, killing demons. And it was the only thing that he ever looked forward to.


"If you know so much about demons, help him." Commanded a worried mother. Her child couldn't sleep, due to his constant ranting of demons hovering over her, planning to kill him. Daichi nodded silently, walking off. Days later, the child was wearing a brooch that put his fears at ease. It actually repelled the demons, but the parents thought that Daichi had simply gotten them to believe it protected them. Soon parents were all going to Daichi. If only they new his true intentions.

The brooches and necklaces he was giving out contained the spirits of demon slayers. And at night, when the children fell asleep, the slayers would take over the child's body. They completely transformed it into their own figure. Of course, they leave an illusion behind for the parents.

Of course, the price paid for Daichi's carelessness soon becomes apparent. The spirits of the child and slayer soon start to merge. The child will be minding their own buisness, and the Slayer's spirit will come forth slightly, causing problems in school, daycare, and anywhere else where others are looking. Neither the Slayer or child want this to happen, but it continues to do so. Both are worried, and blame the problem on each other. Soon, it seems as if the children are arguing with themselves.


So......What will happen now?

Rules

This is a semi-lit roleplay. AT LEAST 3 sentences per post and no chatspeak in character. Use 3rd tense "She/ He NOT I.
Three characters max unless we get almost no one; You must play at least one male.
No god-modding. Give people a chance to dodge hits, etc.
We need both demons and children/slayers.
It'd be nice if you didn't play a child and the slayer that "inhabits" them. After all, you'd end up arguing with yourself.
Demons are unlimited and are most likely to die, since they are mainly props. I'm asking for demons so no one goes on a demon killing spree or is forced to hunt demons that really don't fight back (considering they're be playing the props) Slayers and children are limited to about five each and are most likely not to die, due to obvious reasons. However, they aren't immortal.
If you're playing a demon, be prepared to die. Please don't complain if you do die.
Common curtsy: Give someone warning before they die. I'd like it if Slayers didn't go dropping dead, since these are skilled individuals that aren't exactly newbs to fighting demons. However, Daichi is more vulnerable.
I have the right to add/ change rules as needed.

Personality: cute, cuddly, likes to talk, is very protective of friends and family, is sometimes shy, is always looking for 'pretty' things.

Dislikes: the dark, scary things, people who jump out, mean people, people who offend her family or friends,
Bio: Sena lived with her mother and father, but when she started to see demons they sent her to live with her aunt in another state. Sena thinks it was her fault and doesn't tell about when she sees the 'dark things' as she calls them. She has her imaginary friends but they all vanished when she found the bracelt that she never lets go of.
Specialties: She seems to know how people feel when she sees their eyes.

Personality: is ruthless, Mary likes things specific and organized, she tends to get a little over-obsessive at times, but other than that she is pretty nice, she thinks of others before herself and always takes care of people in trouble, she thinks demons are horrible beings that don't deserve to live/survive.
Likes: killing demons, light, kids, kind people,
Dislikes: demons, mean people, most adults,
Bio: Mary lived for a while with her family, she took to slaying demons when they started terrorizing her smaller sister, she dealt with them easily, but was killed by one after she let her gaurd down.
Specialties: Mary is very agile, she can run easily and her reflexes are perfect.
Other: Mary has a soft spot for little girls, she smiled almost everytime she saw one and is very sad now that she can't see people out of the braclete.

Name: Daichi Akira
Age: 30
Role: The Male Who Brought Slayers Back
Personality: Daichi is very headstrong and serious when it comes to his beliefs. He's been said to be a bit insane, but he claims he's perfectly normal. Besides his oddities, he's quite a down to earth person. Very kind, especially to the younger ones, Daichi's pretty likable once you get to know him.
Likes: Daichi enjoys sitting down to a good book about the paranormal, and will read it for hours or as long as it takes to finish it. He enjoys his studies, even if no one else seems to believe them. But most of all Daichi enjoys his "pastime" of hunting demons and the like. It gives him a thrill unlike anything else can.
Dislikes: Daichi dislikes being called crazy, and always has a so-called witty comeback for it. He hates people believing demons aren't real, and he despises demons themselves. But most of all, Daichi hates adults. He views them in general as a problem, not paying enough attention to their children as the cower under their covers becasue of an "unreal" creature that's only "in their imagination."
Bio: Daichi was born to a poor family, growing up in a small tenement house in Japan. He was a generally happy child during the day, but at night things changed. He was harassed by demons and other evil beings. yet every time he mentioned it to his parents, they didn't even respond. As he got older, they started shaking their heads. Before long, he was being sent to psychiatrists because his teachers insisted and even offered to pay. Soon no one wanted to be around the jumpy little boy, and Daichi was left to fend for himself. He took to knowledge, to books on the beliefs of people who weren't ignorant to the entire world before them. Soon he guarded himself with knowledge and fit back into society...At least during the day. At night, he secretly went hunting for hours on end. Before long, he called himself an accomplished slayer. With demons off his mind during the day, Daichi was able to succeed and get a scholarship to a college. A year later, he was sent to America on a student exchange program. He loved the place, and noticed it had many more demons than japan. So naturally, after saving up for several years after the program was over, he moved back to America where he took up his old hobby. But soon things started spiraling out of control and he needed to pull out every mythical trick in the books, including the slayers.
Specialties: Daichi is very good at defeating demons and is also very intelligent when it comes to them. He's pretty athletic becasue of his "job."
Other: Daichi is obsessive. He has to finish something no matter how small it is. He'll work hours on end without a break to finish large tasks, and will spend hours on the same demon if they continue to get away from him. Even if he doesn't want to do something, if he starts it something forces him to finish it.

Personality: Becca is very outgoing and playful. Unlike most children, she's not shy at all. She's willing to jump right into something and confront it. But she is also easily frightened.
Likes: Becca likes playing with her friends, and anyone else who is willing to play. She loves being with her parents as well.
Dislikes: Becca hates being frightened, and being hurt. She doesn;t like it when people call her a chicken, or when someone tries to scare her.
Bio: Becca was born where she lives now. She has only known the small town she's grown up in. She was always a happy little girl, until she started seeing demons. Then she became very fearful come night, insisting on sleeping with her parents. After a while, they grew tired of it and went to Daichi. That's where she got the necklace she now never takes off.
Specialties: Becca's only outstanding ability is her ability to socialize with ease.

Personality: Loud and always likes to start trouble. Like any kid sitting still is tourture so he usually acts up at school.
Likes: Candy, chinese food, and games.
Dislikes: The dark and what ever it is that is following him.
Bio: The monsters always bothered him but not to the point they are now. They are getting more bold and it is scaring him. The lack of sleep has been making him act out in school more and has made his fuse shorter. He gets angry easier and his mother was getting worried. That's why she brought him to Daichi and that's where he got the necklace. He thought it looked girly so he only wears it before going to bed.
Specialties: He is a fast little kid.

Personality: quiet and calm. He tends to think every little thing out before acting but that doesn't usually take him long. To other people he can come off as aloof, uncaring, or ****y.
Likes: Surprisingly he likes the dark, and coffe.
Dislikes: Large crowds and demons affecting children.
Bio: Kail had been raised to deal with Demons seeing as he grew up in a fairly rural area so mainstream beleif that demons didn't exist wasn't really though of as the truth. Kail learned at a young age to not be emotionally involved with what is going around him because demons are tricky. Because of his training he was very efficiant at killing demons but he was bad at dealing with people. He was actually killed by a person. He was shot because they thought Kail was acting all high and mighty and they were drunk.
Specialties: Kail's eyes adjust to darkness amazingly quick, and he is precise. When he was alive he was known for his accuracy with guns and anything that could be throw.
Other: He is very emotionally detatched from everything which most of the time irritates people to the point of not listening to him.
